Right or wrong rioting enhances Trump's chances for another 4 years.
The Economic Fallout of the Lockdown and Riots will not Diminish Support for TrumpBy Steve McCannWhy?  Two clues for the myopic elites

Dictators Smell Blood in the Water

Turkey, Iran and China want to exploit America’s racial unrest.

The world’s strongmen are seizing gleefully on the death of George Floyd and the riots that followed, hoping to delegitimize America’s rule-of-law system at home and sap its credibility abroad.

Recep Erdogan of Turkey, last seen stamping out his political opposition and forcibly displacing Kurds in Syria, tweeted that “The racist and fascist approach that led to the death of George Floyd in the US city of Minneapolis as a result of torture has not only deeply saddened all of us, but it has also become one of the most painful manifestations of the unjust order we stand against across the world.”

Taking a break from genocidal threats against Israel, Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei retweeted something that said: “If you’re dark-skinned walking in the US, you can’t be sure you’ll be alive in the next few minutes.”
China’s state media has also shifted into high gear. On the one hand it wants to encourage unrest, with the Global Times asking on Twitter if police are “Peacekeepers or mass murderers?” and Xinhua promoting a New York Times article sympathetic to rioters.
On the other hand Beijing wants to use America’s riots to justify crushing Hong Kong’s democracy movement and arresting its peaceful leaders. The Global Times tweeted: “Violence breaks out amid US protests! Protestors torch Nashville’s City Hall, destroy emergency vehicles, disrupt traffic… Is this ‘a beautiful sight’ as #Pelosi called the riots in HK?” Clever.
These regimes benefit from collapsing the difference between the rule of law and its absence. Violence and injustice exist in every society, but in the U.S. they can be, and are, exposed publicly and addressed through legislation and courts. The Uighur Muslims that China’s Communist Party rounded up in Xinjiang have no recourse; nor do the hundreds of protesters gunned down by Iran’s regime last year.
America’s adversaries today are so transparently enemies of progressive values that we doubt their messaging will have much appeal to the radicals who are burning American cities. Their goal is more cynically opportunistic: Convince the world that multiethnic liberal society is bankrupt, so the strong can more easily prey on the weak. That would be the ultimate betrayal of the memory of George Floyd.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Trump told mayors and governors, when Covid 19 hit, he wanted them to be in charge of their own  and said the government would be available to help and he made sure it was.
Now that rioting is taking place the governors and mayors seem unable to quell the looting so eventually Trump may have to step and he will be blamed for their own cowardliness and incompetence.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
