We celebrated our 48th anniversary today by od'ing on watching Clancy's Ryan series, then attended a lecture at the Museum on Impressionist Art and had dinner at one of our favorite restaurants.
We have had a great ride, very little disagreements, lots of compatibility and today leave for Orlando to attend a family memorial service for a great lady - Brian's maternal grandmother passed away several weeks ago.
Everyone who meets and knows Lynn understands why I married her. They remain querulous as to why she said yes. Guess it is because I am so easy to love.
I plan to come back in my second life as a Basset Hound

Several years ago I invited my dear friend and sometime memo reader to come to Savannah, stay with us and talk about her book at our home. She did and those who came were very impressed. Her book was about intimidation during the Obama Era.
Move the clock forward and we now have the minority leader of the Senate intimidating two Supreme Court Justices, the Speaker of The House ripping up POTUS' SOTUS in front of tens of millions of Americans and the entire pack of House Democrats seeking to intimidate President Trump by impeachment which was based on a false document using warrants obtained illegally because they were based on that document
Some $30 plus million was spent on this charade when, it has now been revealed, the impeachment process was known to be false within less than a week. Mueller and his crew of partisan misfits persisted much longer and at a far greater cost because Democrats thought they could intimidate Trump.
Intimidation is the weapon of choice employed by tyrants and thugs engaged in sham/Gulag type trials who are purposely intent on violating the rule of law. This is your Democrat Party. It's leadership has sunk to this level in order to retain power. This is the party that attacks the current president because it could not bring itself to accept it's defeat. This is the same party that now tells voters it is prepared to get rid of the president who ran on a slogan and actually did what he pledged he would.
This is the same party that threatens to pack SCOTUS if the Justices do not rule as they would wish.
This is the same party that does not believe in borders and wants to protect illegal immigrants engaged in unlawful practices. This is the same party that spent a full year disregarding their responsibilities as legislators because of their zeal to impeach. And yes, this is the same party
that is protected by our biased mass media which has developed a pattern of employing double standards of reporting and/or failing to print negative stories.
Until this party changes it's radical thrust a vote for Democrats is the equivalent of hoping America fails.
