Corporate America Unlikely To Hire The Two Men We Are voting To Run The Nation. Buffett's Rules - Will They Ever Be Passed? Are We Nuts?

The DNC Tsunami of Schmaltz and MendacityClarice FeldmanHow the DNC circus was laughed out of town. And:It's Just A Mask" (My Version) – Mark Sargent SW#260Finally: Because of Trump's "warp speed" demand,  the FDA just announced a new therapy allowing those with COVID 19 to receive a convalescent plasma infusion of anti-bodies from those who have recovered from same and donated their antibodies. The success rate is high tracking some 35%. Once again those who claim Trump failed with respect to the pandemic are dealt a deserved truth blow.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Corporate Boards generally do not allow members to serve past 70.
Most companies tend not to hire those past 55 unless they have extraordinary/special talents
Seldom does the military retain their most senior officers beyond the age of 65.
Obviously people can be the same age and yet,be very different in all aspects mentally and physically. I am 87, play tennis at least 4 times a week but because of 8 knee operations and a hip replacement, I cannot run as well as many I play with of the same age.
Obviously, Trump is more active than Biden. Since being president,  Trump has gained weight, does not sleep as long as he probably should and apparently does not maintain a healthy eating regimen.
Biden seems to have kept his weight down, I have no idea about his food intake but he obviously has some visible health issues.
Beyond the physical, Trump has a record of accomplishments achieved in a most unorthodox manner, over a relatively brief period by challenging the established way D.C. lumbers along.
Biden has an extensive period of service with very little to show  by way of anything significant and/or visible.
Personality-wise, Biden portrays himself as a healer but does so in intermittent outbursts displaying mean-spirited petulance. Trump is generally defensive, frequently combative and an aggressive counter puncher.
Both men have a history of lying.
From what we know about Biden, he is likely to be more malleable whereas, Trump is less persuadable but has proven, time and again, what he may Tweet is not what he finally does.
Trump has displayed a playful sense of humor.  Biden comes across more bland and humorless.
In essence we are voting for men to be president of a large nation  whom corporate America is unlikely willing to hire.
Finally:
Should Trump win the electoral vote in what is  is a close victory rest assured things will get worse because Democrats will never accept another defeat and they might even vote Peolosi out and settle on a more radical Speaker assuming they retain The House.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Warren Buffett proposed this years ago and nothing was done and I doubt anything will until voters get mad enough and, if they are not disgusted by now, who knows what it will take and/or how bad must things get?

The BUFFETT Rule
Let's see what people pressure is all about.
Salary of retired US Presidents .. . . . .. . . . . .. . $180,000 FOR LIFE.

Salary of House/Senate members .. . . . .. . . . $174,000 FOR LIFE. This is stupid

Salary of Speaker of the House .. . . . .. . . . . $223,500 FOR LIFE. This is really stupid
Salary of Majority / Minority Leaders . . .. . . . .$193,400 FOR LIFE Stupid
Average Salary of a teacher . . .. . . . .. . . . . .. .$40,065

Average Salary of a deployed Soldier . . .. . . .. $38,000

Here’s where the cuts should be made!

Warren Buffett, in a recent interview with CNBC, offers one of the best quotes about the debt ceiling:
"I could end the deficit in five minutes," he told CNBC. "You just pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election."

The 26th Amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only three months and eight days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971 - before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc

Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took one (1) year or less to become the law of the land - all because of public pressure.

Warren Buffett is asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise.

In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one idea that really should be passed around.

Congressional Reform Act of 2022

1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman / woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office.

2. Congress (past, present, & future) participates in Social Security.

All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 3/1/22. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women.

Congress made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and go back to work.

Meanwhile:

We are allowing several 1000 radicals to protest throughout the nation's mostly Democrat run cities and determine the direction our nation is being bullied into embracing.  Are we nuts?
