First Memo After Returning From Beach.

Sent by a friend and fellow memo reader:

"I was just reminded of a great quote by Alexsandr Solzhenitsyn about the Soviet economy:

"We know they are lying, they know they are lying, they know we know they are lying, we know they know we know they are lying, but they are still lying".

This sums up Biden and his lackeys. P---"

Something very strange is taking place and I do not know whether it is a pre-cursor of an attack by Israel on Iran in the near term or simply preparation for the future. I do know,  based on information I have read, there is a growing belief Iran is within days of being able to produce fissionable material for a bomb but still have many months to go before they can build a missile with a nuclear war head and be capable of a launch of same:

Iran Trying to Force the US to Meet All Its Demands

by Khaled Abu Toameh

Iraqi writer Farouk Yousef pointed out that after the US gave Iran $90 billion following the signing of the nuclear agreement with the Obama administration in 2015... the bulk of the money... was spent on terrorist groups run by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, and Syria, as well as terrorist groups run covertly in other Arab countries.
[Iran is] trying to delay the signing of the nuclear agreement so that the mullahs succeed in forcing the Biden administration to accept all their demands, especially the removal of the IRGC from the list of foreign terrorist organizations.
…….."[T]here is no sane person in the region willing to take seriously any reassuring words issued by [US Special Envoy for Iran] Robert Malley and other officials in the US administration concerned with the Iranian file. Every child now knows that these American officials have nothing but flattery for Iran, especially in light of the cold American reaction to the attacks it carried out against the Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates....If anything has changed, it is for the worse." — Kheirallah Kheirallah, Lebanese journalist, Elaph, March 30, 2022. CONTINUE

EMET Expresses Its Immense Gratitude to the U.S. Military For Participating in Refueling Exercises Alongside Israel Against Iran
(May 20, 2022 - Washington, DC) EMET lauds the United States’ upcoming participation in a large-scale Israeli military drill simulating a strike against Iran. According to a Wednesday Medialine article, the US Air Force is slated to conduct midair refueling of Israeli fighter jets in as part of the IDF’s “Chariots of Fire” operation in two weeks.

US Central Command chief Gen. Michael Kurilla landed in Israel on Tuesday to assist with the exercise and meet with high-ranking IDF officials, indicating the United States’ seriousness on this front.

The maneuvers will occur over the Mediterranean Sea starting May 29, the final week of the drill, simulating “striking targets far from Israel’s borders” while also “acquiring new targets…in real time,” according to the Jerusalem Post. It will include almost all IDF units and will focus on Israel’s northern border, the Times of Israel reported.

EMET believes that a credible threat of force against the Islamic Republic of Iran is long overdue as Iran has already made its nuclear aspirations abundantly clear.

Former Majles (Iranian Parliament) member Ali Motahari said outright on Iranian Television (ISCA) that Iran’s original intent for its nuclear activity was not for peaceful purposes, but to build a bomb.

“With regard to what we started… If we could have kept it [a secret] until we performed a [nuclear] test, then it would have been a done deal. Like in Pakistan,” Motahari said in an April interview according to a MEMRI translation.

Said EMET Founder and President Sarah Stern, “For well over a year, EMET has been arguing that when negotiating with a brutal, tyrannical force with hegemonic ambitions such as the Islamic Republic of Iran, there needs to be a credible threat of military force. Nothing resonates quite as well in communicating that message as the strength and might of the US military."

Continued Ms. Stern, "We at EMET would like to convey our gratitude to the US military who are participating alongside the members of the Israeli Defense Force in these joint military exercises. It is in American security interests because the danger of a nuclear Iran might be a threat to Israel and to our Gulf Arab allies today, but it will be a real danger to us here in the US tomorrow. We are grateful that the United States seems to be changing its course from relying merely on negotiations, to signaling that it is contemplating a more realistic Plan B - backing up negotiations with a credible threat of military force.”

Allen West is a dear friend.  I do not always agree with what he chooses to do but I generally agree with what he has to say.

I took the liberty of paraphrasing what he recently said at a meeting when a women, in the audience, asked him a question about whether he believed there were many socialists in Congress

Allen West is correct when he says secular progressivism is a fancier name for socialism. Socialists are vitally interested in getting the mass media to emphasize misdeeds by characterizing them as those of supremacists. Thus, shifting focus away from what they are doing to destroy America and it’s connection to constitutionalism. This is simply another way to have government supplant religion as a force for governance.

In his Biography, Bill Barr wrote much the same.

Secularists cannot allow "live and let live." They must impose their dictates on those who are religious. This is typical of the hypocrisy of liberalism. Our way or the highway. You must allow abortion, even finance it, accept same sex marriage  regardless of your religious views etc. Religion can have no place in American life. This has all been planned and is why a liberal SCOTUS became the mechanism for changing  America so government could intrude in dictating American values away from a society based on religion to one of secularism. Those who hold religious views are now forced to embrace and/or become subject to views that are antithetical to their own.

Being Jewish I have been concerned about the hatred of Israel being expressed by radical college students who have embraced false messages, which they repeat, about Israel and Palestinians.  I attended a ZOOM presentation by a gifted speaker recently and urge you listen as well.

Those who hate America and wish to see it's collapse have been effective in weaponizing speech to the point that facts no longer matter and the mass media no longer hides their biased reporting.

In his biography, Bill Barr devoted a lot of pages to Trump's claim his election was stolen. He discussed the legal responsibility of the Justice Department, what efforts the Department  made, within their constitutional rights, to investigate the alleged claims and the Department found no extraordinary evidence Trump lost because of fraud etc.

He did believe, the Democrats took advantage of COVID and did certain things before the election that were more likely to create circumstances that increased the potential for "hanky panky" and he is opposed to the spread of various activities such as lengthy periods of early voting, the explosion of vote mailing etc.

Barr warned Trump months prior to the election he needed to adopt a more presidential approach to his handling of COVID and to win back many who may have voted for him in 2016 but had drifted away because of his personality etc. It was Trump's  to lose and Trump lost it because of his insistence in being Trump.

Georgia, once again, will become the focus of  national attention.  I believe and hope Kemp will beat Abrams but I know she is not going to lack money and is an effective campaigner.

Liberal Dark Money Group Bankrolled by Foreign Billionaire Gave Millions to Stacey Abrams’s Voting Nonprofit

A liberal dark money group bankrolled by a foreign billionaire gave millions of dollars to failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams's effort to overhaul America's voting laws.

Sacramento-based dark money group Fund for a Better Future in 2020 gave more than $3 million to Abrams's Fair Fight Action, its tax forms show. Swiss billionaire Hansjörg Wyss is by far Fund for a Better Future's top donor—his advocacy group, Berger Action Fund, gave the dark money group more than $45 million from 2016 to 2020.

The sizable contribution marks yet another attempt from Wyss to meddle in America's elections. Abrams's Fair Fight has spent big on ads urging Congress to pass the For the People Act, Democrats' massive election overhaul bill that would give the federal government unprecedented power to control American voting. Wyss has also contributed millions of dollars to redraw electoral maps in Democrats' favor and lobby for the Biden administration's alternative energy initiatives.

Fund for a Better Future's generous support of Fair Fight also gives Wyss a back-door way to earn favor and influence with Abrams, who is running for governor of Georgia against Republican incumbent Brian Kemp. Foreign nationals cannot contribute to U.S. political candidates but can fund nonprofit organizations. Wyss in 2014 revealed he only carries a Swiss passport and does not have a U.S. green card. In a 2021 SEC filing, Wyss called himself a "citizen of Switzerland."

At least one watchdog group believes Wyss's liberal philanthropy violates U.S. law. In May 2021, Americans for Public Trust filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission alleging that Wyss "indirectly funded federal electoral advocacy through his nonprofit organizations." Wyss has contributed tens of millions of dollars to liberal dark money groups that help elect Democrats—U.S. law, the complaint notes, "prohibits foreign nationals from making contributions to political committees whether directly or indirectly."

"The intended recipient of these funds was ultimately a variety of organizations whose primary purpose is to engage in electoral advocacy," the complaint states. The FEC has failed to act on that complaint over the last year, prompting Americans for Public Trust in April to sue the federal agency in search of a decision.

"Until the FEC takes action, we won't know the full extent of [Wyss's] foreign interference in our electoral process," Americans for Public Trust executive director Caitlin Sutherland said in a statement.

In addition to his lavish liberal advocacy spending, Wyss sits on the board of the Center for American Progress, a liberal think tank. He has donated hundreds of millions of dollars to left-wing groups over the last two decades.

Fair Fight Action did not return a request for comment. Fund for a Better Future could not be reached for comment.
