Our politicians spend money as if it is not their's and of course it is not. It is, however, entrusted to them.

Today they passed a forty billion dollar bill to protect Ukraine's borders while we keep our's porous because it would be immoral to keep  people out who want to come in and many of them poison our citizens with drugs etc..

Before the drip, drip, drip spending ends in defense of Ukraine, we will need to replenish or own stocks at increased price levels. Putin will still be in office, Ukraine will have become a wasteland and probably as many as 10 million Ukrainians will have been displaced and/or slaughtered.

Most of our foreign policy initiatives are re-active in nature because we are generally reluctant to be bold initially.  We seem to prefer mission creep.

The only way "we the people" are going to retrieve our government is the same way we broke away from Britain. It always boils down to funding the government.  Without taxes no government can function.

Only 50% of Americans pay income taxes. That said, if there was a concerted effort, call it insurrection,  to withhold paying taxes the government would be unable to survive because there would not be enough institutions and forces to incarcerate the numbers.

The problem is who co-ordinates the rebellion? Insurrection breeds  anarchists who generally win,  The good guys never come out on top. Chaos wins every time.

U.S. Spends $800k to Study if its $2 Mil Salvadoran Youth Violence Prevention Initiative is Effective

Less than a year after the government dedicated millions of dollars to study if its costly decade-old Latin American gang prevention initiative is effective, it will spend another $800,000 to research if a similar taxpayer-funded program is working in El Salvador. The new probe will focus on the Police Athletic League (PAL) youth outreach program, which Uncle Sam has funded in the impoverished Central American country to the tune of $2 million. The money flows through the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), a State Department offshoot created in the late 70s to reduce drug trafficking into the U.S. from Latin America.

Biden and his socialist operatives either do not comprehend this simple lesson or seek a more evil goal, ie  destroy America.. The Fed has mostly ineffective tools at their disposal and once they begin withdrawing liquidity a recession is generally the result. Since our economy is basically strong and jobs are available it is more likely any recession could be short lived but forest fires, once begun, take on a life of their own.
