If Manchin wants to have influence beyond 2021 he needs to get off the pot and join the Republicans who need someone with backbone.

I am sure Manchin is not blind and he can see the clouds forming so he could well be in a minority Party in the Senate and lose most of his effectiveness.  The Republican Party would embrace him now  but could be less inclined when they do not need his presence.

The voters revolt against our cultural curators, again

By Salena Zito

PITTSBURGH — On the morning of Election Day in western Pennsylvania, Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf mentioned on a local radio show that his wife had submitted his mail-in ballot for him — a direct violation of Pennsylvania election law punishable by up to either a year in prison or  $a 1,000 fine — or possibly both.

Had the progressive Democrat signed the voting bill that passed this summer, H.B. 1300, any member of his household could have dropped it off for him. Moreover, it would have established early in-person voting and required signature verification of mail-in ballots.

When he vetoed the bill, Wolf said at the time it was because it “restricted the freedom to vote.”

This story will last a day or two in the local news. What reporters and elected officials will miss about this moment is where the seed is planted in the public psyche — just one more snippet of information adding to their dissatisfaction with the party in power. It is one of many signs collected over many years that insiders like Wolf are detached from the people they govern.

Their detachment is not just geographical but cultural, and it is not limited to politics. For decades, the nation's cultural curators have operated through corporations, national sports organizations, Hollywood, academia, the national news media. More and more, they have become detached from the people who buy, watch, or are educated by them.

In Wolf's case, he spent the last two years telling his constituents he knew better on everything, especially regarding his secretive, autocratic handling of the pandemic and his controversial moves regarding business waivers and nursing homes. He allowed only “life-sustaining sectors of the economy” to stay open, yet he initially allowed his family’s cabinet business to remain open. His former health secretary, Rachel Levine, now a prominent member of the Biden administration, made decisions that turned Pennsylvania nursing homes into coronavirus death traps, then removed her mother from a personal care facility.

Their "do as I say not as I do" attitude led to last Tuesday's reaction, but that wasn't the first instance. Before that, there was a referendum this spring that curtailed the governor's emergency powers. Last fall, Democrats lost state House and Senate seats even though they had expected to take over both chambers. They were once again handed defeats in last Tuesday's elections in places they were supposed to win.

This trend is certainly not limited to Pennsylvania — and it has not always favored Republicans. In 2006, Republicans were wildly out of step with their constituents. Democrats such as Rahm Emmanuel wisely understood that and recruited Democratic candidates who could win in conservative districts. They hired ad-makers like Steve McMahon at Purple Strategies, who created a “We share your values” messaging, appealing to the independent, Republican, and Democratic voters. They won big in that year's midterm elections.

I have argued for years that

Mossad thwarts Iranian attacks on Israelis in Africa - report

Iran has been seeking to harm Israel or Israelis at sea, using cyberattacks and overseas attacks.

Apparently citizens of Seattle awoke from the dead and decided police serve a purpose.

If the Seattle Police were smart, they would leave Seattle and go where they are truly appreciated.

Biden family has a storied history. Maybe he should have rea my pamphlet.

Diary Allegedly Belonging to Ashley Biden Reveals Disturbing Personal Details

A diary allegedly owned by President Biden’s daughter, Ashley, which features startling and lurid details about her personal life, was made public by National File before the 2020 election. It has resurfaced in the news because of high-profile FBI raids reportedly tied to the diary.

While the journal has not been definitively proven to belong to Ashley Biden, the New York Times tied it to the Biden family in their report on the raids:

An F.B.I. spokesman in New York would not comment on the investigation, saying only that agents had “performed law enforcement activity related to an ongoing investigation” at two locations. One of the searches took place in an apartment on East 35th Street near the Midtown Tunnel and the other in Mamaroneck, N.Y., north of New York City.

A spokesman for the United States Attorney’s office in Manhattan declined to comment.

The Trump administration Justice Department, then led by Attorney General William P. Barr, opened an investigation into the matter shortly after a representative of the Biden family reported to federal authorities in October 2020 that several of Ms. Biden’s personal items had been stolen in a burglary, according to two people briefed on the matter.

An entry in the diary mentions the author’s father and how worried he was about an upcoming debate. And there are two entries where the author mentions her own name—Ashley Blazer Biden.

Ashley Biden herself reported the diary was stolen, though a whistleblower who obtained it claims she left it in a room at a drug rehab center where she stayed.

The diary discusses the author’s sexual addiction, drug abuse, and other traumatic life events.

“Was I molested. I think so — I can’t remember specifics but I do remember trauma,” the author wrote at one point. She also mentions taking “probably not appropriate” showers with her father when she was a child.

In a video, James O’Keefe claims a “tipster” contacted Project Veritas and offered to sell him the diary. When Project Veritas couldn’t authenticate who owned the diary or the information in it, they attempted to return it to Ashley Biden through her lawyers, but they would not accept it.

Two journalists working for Project Veritas had their homes raided Friday by the FBI, claiming they were searching for information regarding the diary. Today, the FBI raided O’Keefe’s home as well.

We can expect the left to deny the diary is real and perhaps even suggest it’s “Russian disinformation,” which is what they said about Hunter Biden’s laptop. Twitter even went so far as to boot the NY Post off their platform for running that story. The laptop, which contained incriminating pictures of Hunter Biden smoking crack and having sex with prostitutes, was eventually determined to belong to him.

We now know the president has had at least two children in rehab, one of whom he allegedly took “probably not appropriate” showers with. That seems like a lot of addiction for one family.

From a dear friend and fellow memo reader.  As I have said many times, I am not ritualistically religious.  I just try to live by the maxim "do unto others..."

I expressed my own conservative views regarding raising children in this pamphlet, which I have referred to and posted many times before.

Subject:  What we think!

An ‘oldie’ but even more relevant now.

Apparently the White House referred to Christmas Trees as Holiday Trees for the first time this year, which prompted CBS presenter, Ben Stein, to present this piece which I would like to share with you.

The following was written by Ben Stein and recited by him on CBS Sunday Morning Commentary.. My confession:
I am a Jew, and every single one of my ancestors was Jewish. And it does not bother me even a little bit when people call those beautiful lit up, be-jeweled trees, Christmas trees. I don't feel threatened. I don't feel discriminated against. That's what they are, Christmas trees.

It doesn't bother me a bit when people say, 'Merry Christmas' to me. I don't think they are slighting me or getting ready to put me in a ghetto. In fact, I kind of like it. It shows that we are all brothers and sisters celebrating this happy time of year. It doesn't bother me at all that there is a manger scene on display at a key intersection near my beach house in Malibu. If people want a nativity scene, it's just as fine with me as is the Menorah a few hundred yards away.

I don't like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and I don't think Christians like getting pushed around for being Christians. I think people who believe in God are sick and tired of getting pushed around, period. I have no idea where the concept came from, that America is an explicitly atheist country. I can't find it in the Constitution and I don't like it being shoved down my throat.

Or maybe I can put it another way: where did the idea come from that we should worship celebrities and we aren't allowed to worship God? I guess that's a sign that I'm getting old, too. But there are a lot of us who are wondering where these celebrities came from and where the America we knew went to. In light of the many jokes we send to one another for a laugh, this is a little different: This is not intended to be a joke; it's not funny, it's intended to get you thinking.

Billy Graham's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her 'How could God let something like this happen?' (regarding Hurricane Katrina). Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response. She said, 'I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives. And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?'

In light of recent events... terrorist attacks, school shootings, etc. I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she was murdered, her body found a few years ago) complained she didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK. Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school. The Bible says thou shalt not kill; thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself. And we said OK.

Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave, because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr. Spock's son committed suicide). We said an expert should know what he's talking about. And we said okay. Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves. Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with 'WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.

Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell.

Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says.

Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing.

Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.

Are you laughing yet?

Funny how when you forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it.

Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks of us.

Pass it on if you think it has merit. If not, then just discard it.... no one will know you did. But, if you discard this thought process, don't sit back and complain about what a bad shape the world is in.

My Best Regards, Honestly and respectfully,

Ben Stein

"A Conservative Capitalist Offers: Eleven Lessons and a Bonus Lesson for Raising America's Youth Born and Yet To Be Born"

By Dick Berkowitz - Non Expert

I wrote this booklet because I believe a strong country must rest on a solid family unit and that Brokaw's "Greatest Generation" has morphed into "A Confused, Dependent and Compromised Generation." I hope this booklet will provide a guide to alter this trend.

Dick Berkowitz . . .

“Dick, I read your book this weekend. I hardly know where to start. You did an excellent job of putting into one short book a compendium of the virtues which only a relatively short time ago all Americans believed. It’s a measure of how far we have fallen that many Americans, perhaps a majority of Americans, no longer believe in what we once considered truisms. I think your father would have agreed with every word, but the party he supported no longer has such beliefs.” Mike

"Dick, I indeed marvel at how much wisdom you have been able to share with so few words. Not too unlike the experience in reading the Bible. I feel that with each read one will gain additional knowledge and new insights…" Larry

I will end this memo by suggesting Durham has the potential of becoming the modern day Paul Revere if he is able and allowed to reconstruct the Steele Dossier Ladder by restoring all  the missing rungs.

Based on his first three indictments we are learning what I always believed.  Hillary structured a web to beat Trump and concocted a Russian collusion story which the FBI knew to be false, were even warned was false and yet, used multi-times  to obtain illegal warranties.  That was bad enough but it also appears Obama, Biden and other smaller stinking fish, like Rep. Schiff, were aware of what Hillary was doing and did not walk away.

If Hillary does not eliminate Durham and/or Biden gets the current disgrace of an AG,  along with the corrupt FBI,  to pull Durham's plug and  Lady Justice is not allowed to peek beneath her blindfold, a number of people could be criminally indicted .

That would leave most of the entire Democrat Party  and virtually all of the mass media dolts eating crow and ,theoretically,  running for the hills.  Perhaps, that would also do  more to clean up the environment than Greta and all the Greens could ever hope to do with their equally specious  science conspiracies.

Stay tuned. The best of the plums have yet to fall.
