This was sent to me by a good friend and fellow memo reader. It caused me to ask what the hell is going on in our nation? Through psychiatry there comes a point where the patient allows all their restrained and sub-conscious bile to come out? Are we now experiencing a delayed reaction on the part of black Americans for all their pent up grievances? Has it come to the point where they are extracting their "pound of flesh" so to speak and "whitey" has become their target or is it a combination of that and our tolerance for inherent anti-social characteristics associated with their culture.
If the latter, it is way past the time to tolerate behaviour that manifests itself in rioting, killing, destruction, looting, anti-social conduct and outrageous demands. Personally, I am fed up with what is going on and have absolutely no problem laying the blaming on the radicalization of the Democrat Party's because of its desire to retain power at the expense of destroying America.
We have gotten well past the stage of institutions masking the blatant race based discrimination popularized by affirmative action programs. The sophistry of Supreme court decisions allowing discriminatory programs to continue in college admissions or hiring because it is in the interest of all students or workers to have a diverse experience in college or the workplace, is no longer necessary. Now discrimination is advertised and promoted openly, and some have even gone so far as to argue that this is a first step in reparations, or is necessary for “payback”. In other words, whites, and or Asians need to feel the pain. This statement by a leading Boston hospital was astonishing-
“A Boston hospital says it will offer “preferential care based on race” and “race-explicit interventions” in an attempt to engage in an “antiracist agenda for medicine” based on critical race theory. “A Boston Review article titled “An Antiracist Agenda for Medicine” lays out a plan from Brigham and Women’s Hospital that implements a “reparations framework” for distributing medical resources in order to “comprehensively confront structural racism."
Cash transfers will be made to patients and discounted or free care provided, based solely on race. If this is constitutional, I can not imagine what type of discrimination is not allowed. If you are not a member of a favored minority group, you can look forward to care being denied.
Anti-racism trained Nurse Ratched might tell you: “ Wait your turn for the first time, if it ever gets to you. Get used to it!”

4 On the college front, the news is equally sordid. This week, most of the Ivy League colleges and universities released the racial breakdown of their incoming classes. The competition appears to be over which school can admit the smallest white percentage of the freshman class. This year’s champion is Princeton, with Harvard second.
A college admissions counselor who has discussed this issue with admissions officers at ivy league schools says the admissions officers admit that what is going on is not due solely to a desire to admit enough of various minority groups to achieve diversity, but to punish whites, who have been privileged too long
“What, then, is the real reason why Princeton has cut back so sharply on admitting whites? According to the college counselor referred to above, some Ivy league admissions officers admit that their efforts are about payback, not diversity. Their stated view is that whites have long been “privileged” in America and that now nonwhites should be favored as reparations for our unjust history and culture. “
Admission to elite schools is like a rare earth material. This year, there were record low acceptance rates. About 10% of those admitted for freshman year 2020-2021 deferred, removing those spots for new applicants. With standardized tests now optional at most schools, many applicants who had middling scores, and who would have not garnered a second look at most of these schools, now felt that their chances were better (they weren’t). Many high school students used the common application to apply to a dozen or dozens of schools. Parents and high school college counselors who encouraged this or allowed it, need a reality check. A few superstars collected many acceptances, and almost everybody else got a wall full of rejection letters. Call it the “wall of shame” as was the case at my daughter’s high school when she attended. The prestige factor and future networking potential associated with winning this admissions game is simply too powerful to resist for many families and their kids. Harvard accepted 3.4% of applicants this year, Columbia 3.7%, MIT and Princeton 4%, Yale: 4.6% (what a loser school), the other Ivies between 5 and 8%. If the admissions game is also racially rigged, then it becomes like driving through a full parking lot, where only the handicapped spots are available- and you don’t qualify for those.

We are now almost a full year into the “national reckoning on race” and we see how it is playing out. One big shift is the momentum for eliminating any measure in schools or the workplace which might be merit based, and measure achievement, or ability and in which certain “marginalized groups” show poorly. United Airlines has committed to hiring 50% of its new pilots from a new pilot training program who are women or are members of specific racial groups or gender. One might think that pilot excellence, and safety of passengers were the top considerations in hiring- not the race or gender of the pilot. But you would be wrong.

After the “largely peaceful protests” resulted in billions in damage and dozens of deaths this summer and fall, companies paid ransom to groups like BLM so that they would look like virtuous anti-racist good citizens. We are beginning to get an idea where all that money went:
And finally, we have our great leader, President Biden, who likes to call things Jim Crow or worse than Jim Crow, probably because he has nothing else to say. The sadder reality is that someone always tells him what to say. In case anyone has forgotten, Biden told a black audience in 2012 that Republican candidate Mitt Romney “wants to put y’all back in chains.”
