Obama, Biden Hillary's Change Brought Less Hope More Fear. All Freddie Gray Charges Dropped Gutting Basis for BLM Anarchists. Who Cares About CAIR?

Obama, Biden, Hillary's Change Has  Created                                                                                                                           Fear!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Democrats are expert at identity politics. They love demonizing their opponents.

In the current campaign, Biden talks about the fact that Republicans focus on fear and not hope. When Biden ran with Obama, the first time, their focus was on GW's terrible economy, GW's war and of course fear and the hope for change they would bring about.

Now the Republicans are focusing on the fear brought about by the change Obama , Biden and Hillary did bring about and it is enough to scare the hell out of over 70% of the Americans.  Can Trump capture this fear and ride it into The White House?  I 'hope' he can.

As for Trump, I believe, should he win, he will appoint Cabinet Members who are unorthodox.  By this, I mean he will appoint a lot of business people with everyday practical experience and less from the political arena.  I remember Engine Charlie from GM who flunked in D.C. because he could not relate.  Those old enough remember he said: " So Goes GM so goes America," or words to that effect.

The question will be whether government can run like a business?  In some cases, particularly where efficiency and technology upgrades are the issues, the answer is yes.  Can government be run on a bottom line basis remains the unanswered question. I believe this is the type of change Trump will try and instill and, as for myself, I am willing to give it a go.   We've tried the other way and look where we are - plenty of fear, deeper in debt and total collapse of government accomplishing anything that instills hope. (See 1 below.)

As I noted in a previous memo, Hillary needs the black vote and has spent political capital pandering to them and the BLM movement.  Today, all charges against all defendants were dropped in the Freddie Gray matter.  This tragic event helped bring about the BLM, which was built on racial quicksand, black prejudice and anarchy.  Now Hillary is stuck with support of and pandering to a group whose very existence has been judicially cut out from under them and her.  More change? More fear? More hope? More Hillary garbage?

Bill calls Hillary the "change maker" but then fails to discuss the changes she has wrought, ie. Libya, Russian  re-set button, Iran Deal, Deaths of Americans and all those past and present  lies.  UGH!

The latest issue of The Naval War College Review has several interesting articles.

The first: "A Maritime Or Continental Order For Southeast Asia and The South China Sea" discusses the growing military presence, of China in the South China Seas and the implications this has for 50% of global trade.

It is obvious China wishes to disrupt resupplying our allies in the event of a confrontation as well as disrupting trade.

The second article is entitled: "NATO'S New Role - The Alliance's Response to a Rising China, by Zinaida Bechna and Bradley A. Thayer.

In this article the authors discuss the rationale for concern about China's growing ability to disrupt The NATO alliance because a) China has been investing in Europe and b) the concern that Obama's refocus on China has reduced America's military capability to defend Europe.

Both articles continue a long standing  concern military strategists have pertaining to China's rising political and military power and their willingness to project it in ways that threaten historical global trade, global stability and America's military and political guarantee of its. continuance.

A John le Carré Election?

Whoever wins, the White House may need fumigating by the 2020 election.

You haven’t seen Donald Trump’s tax returns, but you’ve seen the Democratic National Committee’s emails. There may be a connection: Mr. Trump is not as rich and independent as he says, and his business empire has partly been financed in recent decades by Russian interests that perhaps now favor his rise to the White House.
No, that doesn’t make Mr. Trump the “Siberian candidate.” If he were, he would disguise the fact. His campaign manager wouldn’t be a longtime adviser to Vladimir Putin’s recently deposed pet Ukrainian strongman. His foreign-policy adviser wouldn’t be a Gazprom intimate. His staff wouldn’t conspicuously have rewritten the GOP platform in a way that pleases Moscow on Ukraine. Donald Trump Jr. wouldn’t have bragged in a 2008 promotion to investors that “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets.”
The truth is, Mr. Putin is as much or more an “asset” to Mr. Trump as the other way round. It pays Mr. Trump to be associated with the world’s flashiest tough guy. Plenty of Americans want the same in their leader.
Mr. Trump is a classic demagogue. He has made his way by breast-beating about American dilemmas as if he discovered them. We won’t enforce our immigration law but won’t change it either. NATO’s role is uncertain and America shoulders a disproportionate burden. Trade raises our standard of living but costs some Americans their jobs (as all competition does). This editorial page has warned for 30 years about too big to fail. If it were as easy to solve these dilemmas as Mr. Trump pretends, they would have been solved by now.
Put aside the practical arguments prominent Republicans use for, grudgingly, supporting Mr. Trump: His tax plan is good. He would blow up a status quo incapable of productive change or evolution. He’s not Hillary Clinton.
The problem is, these supporters who lend him credibility nevertheless can’t believe anything Mr. Trump says. He lies not only to voters in the time-honored way, to gather a coalition to get him into office. He has a history of lying in his business, to his partners, customers, lenders and subcontractors. He sent his wife out to tell the American people “your word is your bond.” She stole the line from Michelle Obama.
Mr. Trump may occasionally tell the truth but you would never know it. His supporters are only guessing about what he intends, if anything, in office.
The hell of our situation, of course, is that his opponent is Hillary Clinton. What was originally intriguing about her email server was the option she created for herself—the option to delete inconvenient official emails so they would never become public property or recoverable by investigators.
An option is valuable even if you never exercise it. To this day, we don’t know why the late Clinton administration official Sandy Berger stole and destroyed three versions of a Clinton terrorism memo while returning two other versions to the National Archives.
Investigators learned enough to elicit Berger’s guilty plea, but they never established motive. They never established whether he was acting on another’s behalf. They never established whether he stole and destroyed other documents, though it was his behavior on previous visits that aroused the suspicions of Archive employees.
Somehow Mrs. Clinton and her entourage will be skipping out on even this modicum of justice. Never mind that, with deliberation and foresight, after deciding which emails to turn over, she and her lawyers made sure that their servers and devices were wiped clean to “preclude complete forensic recovery,” in the words of FBI chief James Comey.
That may have seemed convenient to Mrs. Clinton at the time but creates a giant risk for voters. A complete record may yet exist that Mrs. Clinton doesn’t know about. Hackers may have broken into her server—Mr. Comey seemed to suggest it was highly likely. Before or after she takes the oath, foreign agencies may begin posting unredacted versions of the censored emails the State Department has been publishing. They may post nonpersonal “personal” emails the State Department has never seen. They may post fake “deleted” emails that Mrs. Clinton would be unable to prove are fake.
Tell me again, which presidential candidate has given Mr. Putin unprecedented sway over a U.S. presidential contest?
It may not be the crime of the century, but a picture remains of Mrs. Clinton sweeping in and doing whatever she wanted, with nobody in the Obama administration having the courage to raise an objection or explaining why it was incompatible with law and national interest.
Which A) sounds a lot like how Mr. Trump might behave in the White House. And which B) makes it all the more puzzling why the Clinton email scandal isn’t also an Obama scandal.
One thing is sure: Whoever wins in November, Americans will be looking to Congress’s checks and balances, and to the rule of law, to protect them from a chief executive whose fidelity to law they have every reason to distrust.

CAIR Wants You To Stop Saying "Jihadist"

The executive director of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has called on Americans to cease calling terrorists “jihadists.”
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has a history of Islamist extremism including links to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. The U.S. Justice Department labeled CAIR an “unindicted co-conspirator” in a Hamas-financing trial and listed CAIR as a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity.
In addition, CAIR was officially designated a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on November 15, 2014.
Following the terrorist atrocity in Nice on Bastille Day (July 14) in which 84 people were killed by a man whom ISIS claimed as one of its soldiers, CAIR’s executive Director Nihad Awad sent out a tweet saying:
The first line is unobjectionable in and of itself. But the hashtag he used, trying to argue that terrorism has nothing to do with an ideology of jihad, is very revealing.
Awad seems to want to separate the ideology of jihad, which is used by many groups to justify violence in their attempt to impose Islamist theocracy, from terrorist acts. This looks like an attempt to whitewash the ideology driving terrorism.
The Islamist groups that use some form of the doctrine of armed jihad include but are not limited to:
Many of these groups are ideologically descended from the Muslim Brotherhood, the Egyptian Islamist group that is the forerunner of many modern Islamist movements. Hamas is an affiliate of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Nihad Awad himself was a member of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee and was recorded at a 1993 meeting discussing how to support Hamas and the "goals, strategies and American perceptions of the Muslim Brotherhood" in the U.S.
Most religious or philosophical traditions have a concept of just war, and a rationale for what counts as just war. It is unreasonable to expect Islam to be the only major religion in which war is never considered justified.
But to argue that terrorist groups and terrorist attacks are not motivated by a more aggressive interpretation of jihad is simply disingenuous.
To refuse to use the term jihadist to describe these organizations or their fighters when they explicitly adhere to a doctrine of armed jihad would be inaccurate.
Not using the term “jihadist” would also make it harder to identify the ideological roots of terrorism. In the confusion, ordinary citizens who witness a barrage of terror attacks committed in the name of Islamist extremism may come to associate terrorism with the religion of Islam itself, rather than the armed jihadist wing of the broader global theocratic project of Islamism.
Surely Nihad Awad would not want that to happen.
You can read all about CAIR in Clarion’s  FACTSHEET about the organization.

3)Anti-Semitism spikes on U.S. campuses
By Jennifer Rubin

The Amcha Initiative, a nonpartisan group focused on investigating and combating anti-Semitism on college campuses, is out with a new report. The news is horrifying: “The study, which examined anti-Semitic activity from January – June 2016 on more than 100 public and private colleges and universities with the largest Jewish undergraduate populations, found that 287 anti-Semitic incidents occurred at 64 schools during that time period, reflecting a 45% increase from the 198 incidents reported in the first six months of 2015.”
Moreover, the study finds, as it did in 2015:
[A]nti-Semitism was twice as likely to occur on campuses where BDS [boycott, divestment and sanctions campaign] was present, eight times more likely to occur on campuses with at least one active anti-Zionist student group such as SJP [Students for Justice in Palestine], and six times more likely to occur on campuses with one or more faculty boycotters. In fact, schools with more faculty boycotters and more BDS activity tended to have more incidents of anti-Semitic activity.
This is not merely a robust debate about Israel, but shows ongoing efforts to delegitimize the Jewish State and intimidate American Jewish students, which belies the myth that anti-Israel efforts aren’t anti-Semitic. They are, as the evidence shows. Incidents of targeting Jewish students (defined as “incidents involving conduct that targeted Jewish students for particular harm based on their Jewishness or perceived association with Israel”) were up 64 percent from 2015.
The report goes on to explain:
“Anti-normalization” is a known tactic employed by those promoting BDS on campus. Its goal is to stifle all pro-Israel expression. Adherents of “anti-normalization” target not only pro-Israel students, but anyone presumed to support Israel, first and foremost Jewish students, regardless of their actual personal feelings on Israel. As a result, Jewish students engaging in Jewish activity having nothing to do with Israel — wearing their Jewish sorority or fraternity letters, displaying Star of David necklaces, walking to Hillel for Sabbath dinner — report fearing for their safety and wellbeing. In addition, because of their support, or even just presumed support, for Israel, Jewish students report being rejected from progressive social justice activities such as pro-choice rallies, anti-rape demonstrations, Black Lives Matter events and racial justice conferences.
In addition to ostracizing and alienating Jewish students from certain areas of campus life, anti-Zionist students repeatedly attempt to shutdown events organized by Jewish students and suppress their free speech about Israel and other topics. Sadly, because of strong emotions on Israel, Jewish students are being targeted, discriminated against and ostracized, and their civil rights are being egregiously violated.
Mind you, all this occurs as college campuses are going to excruciating lengths to restrict “offensive” speech and set up “safe zones.” The delicate minds of students are apparently too fragile to undertake exposure to ideas they do not like. Oh, but Jewish students are a different matter. It would be wrong to ask for the same speech codes and anti-free speech nonsense for Jewish students, but the fact that none of the anti-Semitic and anti-Israel activity seems of concern to the offense police tells us much about their agenda. Some minorities are more deserving of protection and respect, apparently.
There is a piece of good news: “This past spring, the University of California took a critical stand against the rising antisemitism plaguing its 10 campuses. Its Board of Regents issued a statement acknowledging that anti-Zionism is a form of antisemitism which incites additional Jew hatred and, like other forms of discrimination, has no place at the University of California.” Perhaps the federal government should stop subsidizing universities that don’t follow suit and that allow rampant violation of Jewish students’ civil liberties to go unaddressed.

4)Iranian commander makes mysterious visit to Israel-Syria border
While the reason behind the visit remains unknown, it marks the first time the Iranian regime acknowledges a top official's visit near the border with Israel.
An Iranian general recently visited the southwest Syria city of Quneitra, located near the Israel-Syria border, Iranian news agency Fars has reported.

While the reason behind Basij Paramilitary Force Commander Mohammad Reza Naqdi's visit has yet to be revealed, Arab news outlets have reported that it constitutes the first time Iran has officially recognized one of its chief officials nearing the Israeli-Syrian border.

On a related note, the Syrian Army issued a statement on Sunday that two Israeli, unmanned aerial vehicles shot two missiles toward a residential building in Quneitra, causing property damage but no injuries.

The Syrian Army's statement said that the attack "is part of Israel's direct and public assistance to armed groups (in Syria), in a desperate attempt to raise the groups' low morale due to the heavy losses that we have caused them." It continued by saying, "Such aggressiveness will not deter us from continuing our fight against the Zionist enemy."

The IDF, for its part, ordered the attack after a mortar fell inside the Golan Heights territory near Israel's border with Syria. No one was injured and there was no property damage as a result.

The mortar fire is considered to have been the result of Syrian rebel forces' ongoing civil war against President Bashar Assad's regime.

5)President Jacob Zuma, the madman who is the current leader of South Africa, has purchased the most expensive aircraft in the world for his own personal use and those of his hirelings and underlings.

A fantastic party machine! All aboard ……………
BOEING 747-8 for Jacob Zuma

Welcome aboard the custom-built plane that makes Air Force One look like The Wright Brothers’ first effort. These extraordinary images show an enormous jumbo jet that has been converted into a luxury home for ZUMA!!!!

Complete with bedrooms, multiple lounges and an onboard restaurant.
The custom-built Boeing 747 is believed to have cost South African taxpayers  $400million.
Making it one of the most expensive purchases of all time.

The jumbo jet would normally carry up to 600 passengers – but this version was built for just one insane man,  although he will be able to fit dozens of guests.
The level of luxury is out of this world.
The plane wouldn’t look out of place on Cribs.
Of course cable television and Internet are among the perks.
No need to fight for sofa space either, just the 14 TVs dotted about the vessel.

More sleeping space is provided in the “aeroloft” on the top deck of the vessel, with eight double beds  for passengers who prefer to get some shut-eye on flights.

You know it’s good when your plane has a stateroom.

Look out for this baby flying above you.
I know you were asking yourself, "Do we send aid to South Africa?"
The answer is "Yes - over $571,000,000.  Just enough to pay for this toy, with a little change left over.
