Dear friend's response to my recent memo: "Good thoughts as always! The statement that the chair is empty because he is standing up for the middle class is a really scary thought. Doesn’t he realize that the middle class by definition includes people who benefit either directly or through their retirement plans in the stock market he is trying to tax out of existence? And the common definition of middle class includes incomes of up to 500% of the average wage, putting them into his “Tax the Rich” category! Almost wish he was in the chair.

Bubba is as big a liar as Obozo. He is just cleverer about it.

Interesting that Hillary-babe will be in somewhere like Tanganyika for Obama’s big celebration. Guess she REALLY doesn’t want to be drafted as VP. My God, I just googled her to find she is in the Cook Islands. Where the hell are they? And who the hell would care enough to go there?"

More commentary regarding my memo relating to 'complicity.:'

Another dear friend and memo reader's response: “I have your back” means a great deal in the military and to  the police. It means you cover for someone and ready to save his life. This means a complete trust in your fellow officers.

In politics it means nothing. As an attorney “I have your back” may mean that indeed your back is in my crosshair. Remember how he did not have sexual relations with this woman”…. He never said he did not have (some kind of) sex. So our incumbent already said he has Israel’s back and clarifying it will only further use obfuscating language…"

I listened to Axelrod today and he did a fabulous job of evading every question sent his way but he did score points about how better off we were if you want to believe him.

However, in order to believe Axelrod you have to ignore this is the worst economic recovery in multi decades. When you go down hard you should come back hard and faster.  The momentum of the force going down provides the force to recover more quickly. Throw a tennis ball down hard and it will bounce further than if you simply drop it from your waist..

Secondly, I heard Obama mock Romney's proposals as being from the last century to be watched on black and white TV.  The middle class were doing fine until we were attacked by al Qaeda, went off track believing low interest rates would provide funding for the purchase of homes far too many buyers could not afford and disregarded the financial markets fancy creations .  This was brought to us by a Congress controlled by Democrats and GW was on record issuing as warning but it fell on deaf ears..

Obama voted against domestic energy expansion, he has attacked the most productive, he wasted billions shifting tax money to supporters in what turned out to be failed energy developments.  Rather than allow GM to go bankrupt and come out as a public entity he transferred tax dollars to unions and now claims GM is a successful government owned entity. Obama expanded our deficit faster than any president  in our nation's history and the consequence will be a drain on future tax revenues as the interest cost of supporting it is escalating and taking more of our GDP to fund.

In terms of foreign policy, Obama has weakened our status, has proven an inept leader  and has every intention of reducing our capability of defending our interests and this even before sequestration.

He has abdicated our foreign policy to the U.N. and allowed Russia and China to block our initiatives. He has abandoned allies and/or left them confused about previously pledged commitments.

Obama has his work cut out because he must corral those who bought his hope and change shtick and keep them in his stable whereas, Romeny and Ryan need to get theses same folks to take their blinders off and realize that making a double mistake is an unpardonable sin.

Obama is betting on Clinton to be an effective magician who will make Obama's record disappear. and in its place will appear a knight in shining armor, a savior to the middle class and a passionate dog lover!

Nor should anyone doubt 'Ole Bill's' ability as a used car salesman.  He is more than capable of convincing an uninformed car buyer the Obamobile's tires are not worn, the paint is not dented, the motor is not leaking oil and the speedometer has low mileage.

Finally, and most importantly of all, Obama has proven to be a consummate liar who will say and do anything in order to gain a political advantage.  He is a man without scruples.

If I have been accurate in my description of both the man and his policies and this is who we want to lead us, to occupy the Oval Office, then I can only conclude our values, our judgment , our sense of who we are has declined beyond recognition and we deserve whatever we get.
