Flores Flips. In A Democracy, Can The Misinformed Be Detrimental? Mass Media Mediocracy, Newspapers Sink In Reliability.

Republican Mayra Flora Wins Historic U.S. House Seat in South Texas

Republican Mayra Flores has flipped a U.S. House seat in deep blue south Texas in what is a likely indicator of the coming red tsunami that could hit the Democrat Party this fall during the midterm elections.

Flores beat Democrat Dan Sanchez in the special election for Texas’ 34th Congressional District. The seat was previously held by Rep. Filemon Vela (D) who stepped down earlier this year to become a lobbyist as all signs pointed to a brutal upcoming midterm election season for Democrats.

Black, LGBTQ, Hispanics make up some 20% of America's population yet the mass media devotes virtually all their attention to this segment, their concerns, demands and complaints.

They also are allowed to segregate, to indulge in special events and have special privilege's like Affirmative Action and demand they be allowed to have Gay Pride Day, Black History Month etc. If the white segment of America acted in a comparable manner or sought such special privilege's and attention they would be deemed racist.

CRT concludes if you are white you are, by the very color of your skin, racist. This is a far cry from the message MLK preached and suggested all America embrace.

How did this come to be? Partly because of the effective manipulation  of "white guilt" and the effect of intimidation.  Those so attacked were afraid to speak out and reject these spurious accusations. I do not claim I have no prejudiced bones in my body but the black and gay population would be better served if there were more of my kind with my level of tolerance.

As for the Hispanic segment of our society, as well as the Asian community, my respect for their work ethic, desire to get ahead through education abounds.  When we recently visited our grandson in Hollywood, for his 3rd birthday, the remodeling of the home he now lives in was not complete and every worker was Hispanic, They were cheerful, industrious and working in 90 degree heat.

Our son's construction partner is Hispanic and a retired Marine. He is diligent, honest, hard working and completely up front. As a result, Daniel has been able to drive business his way because the competition in the area, though active,  is no match in terms of reliability and dependability.

I feel no need to coddle or guilty because of past circumstances I had nothing to do with, nor feel hostility because of color. I may not have a lot in common with those whose life circumstances are different but I also am delighted to see them coming into their own and enjoying the blessings afforded them because they are legal American citizens.

My attitude toward the black community, admittedly, has been shaped by what I see reported and shown and how a small, but radical, segment have felt free to riot, plunder, kill and complain etc, When given an opportunity, it pains me to see a small number take advantage and not give back to their own, as seen recently regarding the upper echelon of BLM's so called leadership. I despise corruption hypocrisy and arrogant law breaking.

Cities controlled by corrupt managers, regardless of color, drives me up the wall and the tolerance of such by those who inhabit these cities and towns, I find abysmal.

I was encouraged by the recent decision to recall the district attorney in San Francisco a refreshing event and hope the same happens to the D.A in L.A.

I have a low tolerance for scum

"PERCEPTIONS" OF THE TRUTH VERSUS  THE TRUTH:

A recent poll was conducted by a national polling outfit,  "YOUGOV".

Results to these questions asked of average people on the street.

What percentage of the country is black? Answers 41%. - Actual, 12%

What percentage is "Latino"?  Answers 39%. - Actual numbers 17%

How many families make over $500,000 a year?  Answers 26%. - Actual figure? 1%  (We think a quarter of the country is rich).

What percent of Americans are vegetarians? Response? 30%. - Actual? 5%

What percent of Americans live in NY city? Answers? 30%. - Actual 3%.

What percentage of Americans are transgender, 22%? - Actual number, 1% (People believe this BS!)

What percentage of your fellow citizens are Gay? Result? 30% - Actual 3%

So why do people have such inaccurate thoughts on these counts?

THE MASS MEDIA! The media run race, gender, wealth stories constantly.

Result? You are being brainwashed by the nation's left leaning media.

Hitler’s propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels would be proud if he had had half the success.

Dsney just went full on "gender" They will no longer welcome guests with the traditional "Welcome ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls”

Why? Because 1% of the population dictates to the other 99% (that would be the vast majority) and corporate America falls for it!

Regardless of what you think. Less than 20% of Americans use "twitter" yet twitter controls 80% of public opinion, why? The media.

Here is another stat that the MEDIA refuses to ever mention.  America is 12% Black. TV advertisements now use 85% black actors.

So black men make up about 6% to 6.5% of the population. That small number is responsible for over half the murders annually in America!

Next time you are thinking American's have changed and not in a good way, remember, it's fake. It's all a lie.

Most people think just like you do, because the media has brainwashed Americans with constant broadcasting of "LIES"!

+++++++++++++++++++++

In China, as in Germany under Hitler, as in many nations where dictators control the news, is it any different  in America now that the mass media has been proven totally unreliable and function as shills for the Democrat Party?

As shown above most surveyed were not even close in giving  correct answers. Why?  Because most still obtain their information from public news sources and the repetitiveness of biased reporting and distortions caused them to elevate the numbers. Their perceptions were disconnected from reality.  Perceptions influence decisions and this creates unhealthy condition for any society, most particularly in a democracy. Why? Because in a democracy, theoretically, the voices of citizens are supposedly heard and are deemed to be influential.  Therefore, misinformed citizens can become detrimental.

Unlike the M&M Candy, Mass Media Mediocracy does melt your mind.

You decide.

China Panics After Leak Exposes Them, Claims It’s An “Evil Narrative”

(NewsGlobal.com)- A trove of police documents and photos from Xinjiang province obtained by hackers four years ago were made public last week. The records provide further evidence of human rights abuses against Uyghur Muslims in China. And naturally, the Chinese Communist Party is using its propagandist media to downplay and dismiss what the documents reveal.

The collection of hacked documents, known as the Xinjiang Police Files was initially obtained by hackers in 2018 and given to Dr. Adrian Zenz from the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation.

For the last four years, analysts from around the world worked to verify the accuracy of the documents before finally releasing them to the public last Tuesday.

Unsurprisingly, Beijing was quick to dismiss the report through its propagandists in the Chinese state-controlled media.

Last Wednesday, the state-run Global Times accused Zenz and the international journalists that verified the documents of trying to “abduct” UN Human Rights Commissioner, Michelle Bachelet. The Global Times claimed that they planned to use Bachelet as a “puppet” during her upcoming visit to Xinjiang.

Beijing has been stonewalling Bachelet for years as part of its effort to cover up evidence of human rights abuses in Xinjiang.

The Global Times accused the US and “anti-China forces” of using these documents to launch a “disinformation” campaign as a way to pressure Bachelet.

The state-run outlet dismissed the response to the Xinjiang Police Files from US and European officials by claiming Zenz was a “notorious rumormonger” who specializes in “smearing Xinjiang.”

The Global Times “reported” that it had debunked the documents. It claimed that “experts” had reviewed the files uploaded by Zenz’s foundation and determined that Zenz “had used his old tactics, including misinterpreting speeches and mixing local police anti-terrorist drills with police operations.”

The outlet also claimed that it was a “high possibility” that the documents were “counterfeit.” It argued that this was just a continuation of the West using an “evil narrative” to smear Xinjiang and “contain China.”

And, as always, the Global Times argued that the West is trying to portray “vocational education and training centers” in Xinjiang as “concentration camps” based on “lies” about forced labor and genocide.

Finally:

An Implicit Admission That The ‘News’ Is Slanted

Media giant Gannett, owner of USA Today, announced last week it was cutting back on newspaper opinion pages within its chain, the largest in the country. Apparently editors decided “readers don’t want us to tell them what to think.” Or, put another way, they don’t need opinion pages when the “news” is doing a fine job of tacitly telling readers what to think.

In the words of a Fox News report, Gannett is “scaling back its opinion pages in an effort to combat a perception of having a political bias” and a political agenda. But that seems more like a cover than a genuine reason. Since when has the leftist corporate media been shy about coloring the events of the day, and worshipping at the altar of their political gods?

In just the years since Donald Trump announced his 2016 presidential candidacy, the media, and not just newspapers, used “news” reports to do all they could to first run Trump’s campaign aground, and when that didn’t work, diligently peddle the narrative that Trump was a Russian stooge and had to be removed from office.

For anyone who even lightly scrolled through the media’s output during the Trump term, it was nigh on impossible to avoid claim after claim that the “bombshell” revelation which was going to bring down Trump was in the air on its way to the target. The media were – and still are – obsessed with Trump.

Nowhere can be found a more damning piece of evidence that the press was unified in its effort to destroy Trump than in this compilation of snippets from reporters, anchors and pundits telling the country the walls were “closing in” on Trump, and expressing an unwavering certainty that “a turning point,” “tipping point,” and “the beginning of the end” of his presidency had been reached. The video is a shameful and nauseating montage of media lockstep, and the wearisome usage of tired cliches that any fifth-grade teacher should steer her students away from is a good look into the shallow intellects of much of this country’s media heads.

While savagely crusading against Trump in specific and Republicans in general, the media have routinely ignored events that cast Democrats in a poor light. Such as the story of Hunter Biden’s laptop, which could have changed the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

More recently, the media have acted as if there’s been no threat to the life of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, even though a man who crossed the country from California to Kavanaugh’s Maryland home with his mind allegedly set on killing the jurist was recently arrested.

Had the target been a Democratic president’s nominee to the Court, we would still be hearing about it today through saturation coverage. Much like the wall-to-wall, all-day-every-day attention given to the obviously unreliable woman who, during his confirmation hearing, accused Kavanaugh of a sexual crime.

We could go on, but the decades of examples are too extensive to fit into even an encyclopedic study, much less a daily editorial.

Gannett, says Fox, is also rolling back “political endorsements by keeping them local.” But again, endorsements are being done quite sufficiently through the “news.”

A study by George Mason University economics professor Tim Groseclose reckons that media bias is worth 8 to 10 percentage points to the Democratic candidates in a typical election. That means the last time a Democrat won a presidential election without the media’s help was maybe 1996, when Bill Clinton beat Bob Dole by 8.5 percentage points – before that, it was Lyndon Johnson’s 1964 win over Barry Goldwater by more than 20 points.

We wish that the media were truly going through an awakening that’s leading to an abandonment of their pro-left bias. But personnel is policy, and the personnel among the press has a strong affinity for Democrats and progressives, and a fuming hatred of Republicans, conservatives, and advocates of liberty and limited government. Nothing will change until the industry breaks with its ideologically incestuous hiring practices.

UNRELIABLE SOURCES: Poll Reveals How Out of Touch Journalists Really Are

By Andrew Stiles

Professional journalists are notorious for their preternatural levels of self-regard. They are, for example, supremely confident in their ability to accurately report on the most important stories of the day. Members of the public are far more skeptical, according to the results of a recently published Pew survey.

Roughly two-thirds of journalists said news organizations do a good job of "covering the most important stories of the day" and "reporting the news accurately," the survey found. Normal, well-adjusted Americans disagreed. Just 41 percent of non-media respondents said professional journalists do a good job of covering the most important stories. Just 35 percent said journalists do a good job of reporting the news accurately.

Asked whether professional journalists do a good job "serving as a watchdog over elected leaders," a majority of journalists (52 percent) said yes, compared with just 29 percent of the general public. Additionally, journalists gave themselves fairly good ratings when it comes to "giving voice to the underrepresented" (46 percent) and "managing or correcting misinformation" (43 percent). Just one in four Americans agreed.

Not surprisingly, journalists were far more likely to describe themselves as "extremely or very connected with their audiences" than the actual members of those audiences. Nearly half of journalists (46 percent) said they felt connected to their readers and viewers. Just 26 percent of readers and viewers said they felt a connection to the media outlets where they get their news.

CNN's Brian Stelter, a journalist who covers the media, has expressed dismay over the results of similar surveys that reveal widespread public distrust of the journalism industry. He routinely defends his network's coverage of the "most important stories of the day," which during the Trump administration included segments on Donald Trump's Diet Coke consumption as well as an extensive analysis of the then-president's spelling errors on social media. CNN helped bolster the reputations of convicted felon Michael Avenatti as well as disgraced former governor Andrew Cuomo (D., N.Y.), whose downfall ultimately led to the ousting of former CNN president Jeff Zucker and former CNN host Chris Cuomo.

Days after his segment bemoaning the lack of public trust in the media, Stelter downed champagne and caviar at a "splashy" HBO premiere in New York City. "Everyone will have different moments that feel like life is returning to a pre-COVID normal, and this night was one of those moments for me," the relatable journalist wrote.

Stelter may be on the chopping block for being a partisan hack, but he is hardly the only prominent figure at CNN who is unable or unwilling to accept that most Americans don't love journalists as much as journalists love themselves. Earlier this year, the network persisted in launching CNN+ to great fanfare. Alas, the premier streaming service was scrapped three weeks later due to a lack of interest.

In addition to the aforementioned failures, CNN is perhaps best known for refusing to fire Jeffrey Toobin, the senior legal analyst who was caught masturbating on a Zoom call with colleagues. "I didn't think other people could see," he explained upon his return to the network last year. Toobin continues to appear on CNN to analyze legal topics such as the Supreme Court's impending ruling that could overturn the landmark abortion case Roe v. Wade. He has expressed concern, for example, that the High Court could take away his ability to bribe his much younger mistress to terminate her pregnancy.

Maybe—just maybe—the American people have good reason to think professional journalists are full of crap.
