When All Else Fails Lower Your Standards. How To Turn A Blue State Red. Trough Feeders. Israel Under Increasing Threats. Watch "War Machine."

This memo is largely devoted to two things I have written:

It is my view Democrats and Republicans are similar in many ways but when it comes to growing the economy they truly depart.

Democrats believe in a large bureaucracy and expect government will best grow GDP whereas Republicans place their faith in free markets and capitalism.  The latter is what got us to be the greatest power in the world and we would be much larger and more financially secure had Democrats/progressives  not had their way.

Big government is more likely to be defined by failure so why would anyone, in their right mind, want more of something that does not deliver?  Agencies run government.  That is what The SCOTUS will soon be determining, ie. did  The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) exceed it's authority and have the constitutional right to act as they did re COVID and business  employees and did Biden exceed his own authority by mandating, as I believe both did?

If government is run by it's agencies,, which was not totally expected/intended by The Founding Fathers, then  we have a pyramidal structure in which the largest numbers are always at the bottom. Furthermore, everything government touches usually is dumbed down because agencies get more funding when they achieve an expanded responsibility. Carter created the new agency of Education and track where education was then and now.

When all else fails lower your standards.

Big is cumbersome.  Walk the Pentagon's halls. Big government is intrusive and often becomes threatening, cruel and dangerous. Think FBI and IRS. Big government also often becomes muscle bound by its sheer size and ineffectual. Think Commerce Department.  Big Government often sends mixed messages, becomes too politicized and causes citizens to lose faith in their dictates and directives. Think CDC, NIH (Fauci) and the current messaging regarding COVID etc.

Thursday, Dec.23, the U.S  Secret Service reported that $100 billon had been stolen from the Covid Relief Fund and other related program. That means crooks stole $1200 from a family of four and I assure you few of the crooks will be caught and/or prosecuted and no one in government will suffer any consequences. Tax payers will just suck it up.

When people lose faith in their government, because it either is found unreliable, because of  cover-ups, lies and wrong decision making this is a very unhealthy situation and allows manipulation by those who seek evil, hate our nation, want to spread discord and end our dominance.

If you want to watch a good movie about how we screwed with the Afghan War this movie is for you:

With Brad Pitt, Daniel Betts, John Magaro, Emory Cohen. An idiosyncratic general confronts opposition from enemies, allies, and bureaucrats while leading a ...

This, I believe, is where we are today.  Not good.

The second item on my agenda relates to the former Governor of Virginia who believed parents had no business meddling in the education of their children along CRT lines. Education  should be left to a union and Local School Boards of Education because they knew best and were experts.

Permit me to pose a series of questions:

When a parent reads a book to a child at bedtime is that educating?

When a parent teaches a child about prayers before gong to bed could that be considered education?

When parents insist children attend religious institutions where they learn about faith, morality, good and evil does not that suggest children are being educated?

When a child is taught, by a parent, how to act upon losing is that an educational experience?.

Should children be given awards they did not earn to avoid hurting their self esteem? If so what is the educational lesson?

Is it reasonable for parents to intercede when CRT preaches divisions between races and causes a segment of the population  to be made to feel guilt for something that occurred before they were born?

I could go on but by now I would hope you get my drift. Obviously the former Governor of a blue state did not and he made the voters turn red.

Education takes many forms. It is a building block event and a two parent family have much to teach that is educational and benefits society.  How a father behaves and treats his  wife sends important messages and is highly educational. Monkey see, monkey do.

Teachers do not tuck children that are not their own in bed.

I believe America is failing because our society is less faith based and no longer sees worth in treating others as they would like to be treated. Does this belief have any connection to why our murder rate is growing, use of drugs is exploding and many productive lives are being wasted and entire families devastated.? Not even a peep from Biden whose son is a druggie.

The current Democrat Party has lost its way and have failed this nation badly.  Obama,Biden, Pelosi, Schumer are not leaders in the true since of the word. They are trough feeders.

The Place of Jesus’ Birth is Under Threat

Former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo bragged about the Trump government’s accomplishments in the Middle East.

These accomplishments include facilitating historic peace agreements between Israel and Arab nations, while helping to bring Iran “to its knees.”

They also include condemning anti-Semitism and claiming supporting Israel is a “means to defend America’s legacy.”

The Biden government, he claimed, is attempting to “undo the tremendous accomplishments we delivered to the Middle East.”

Pompeo, who was recognized at the Zionist Society of America’s (ZOA) yearly gala on Sunday evening, outlined his “proud” accomplishments in his prior job.

He also voiced his desire to continue working as secretary of state, citing the “hard work” that remains.

He remarked, “I was honored to lead in the battle for Israel, the Jewish community, and the eternal cause of religious rights. You must know that I intend to do so in the future.”

Support for the State of Israel

“Work in favor of Israel will never be more crucial,” Pompeo told the online event’s participants. “I’m constantly awed by the nation and its people each time I visit Israel,” he remarked.

Pompeo asserted there is “no more critical responsibility of the secretary of state than standing up for Israel,” and his work is still incomplete.

He stated, “I’d prefer to still be secretary of state. There was still a lot of work to be done.” He expressed his deep confidence in backing the Jewish state, but also concern about the present administration’s lack of support.

“Since of our Judeo-Christian tradition, I believe passionately in our support for Israel. I’m proud of the difficult decisions we made to defend Israel,” he said. “However, I see them eroding quite swiftly today.”

Embassy of the United States of America in Jerusalem

Pompeo said he was “glad of the history we had in sticking with Israel,” noting he had the “immense distinction” of being the first secretary of state to visit the Western Wall with an Israeli Head of state.

“We were told if the US headquarters in Israel were moved to Jerusalem, the war would ensue,” he recounted. “We did it, and there wasn’t any.”

The Threat of Iran

Having followed the Trump government’s pullout from the nuclear agreement in 2018, Pompeo discussed the Iranian danger as Biden tries to replenish the Obama-led nuke agreement.

This agreement also offers Iran the lifting of sanctions in exchange for pledges to momentarily avoid enriching uranium above a certain standard.

“In the administration, we were advised, ‘You can’t break the awful Iran deal because it will increase the likelihood of conflict and of Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon.”

“However, we terminated our involvement in that dreadful agreement. He went on to say, “We exerted maximum economic sanctions on Iran and its leadership. We were the ones who pushed Iran to its knees.”

“Ridding the globe of [slain Iranian Gen.] Qassim Soleimani contributed a lot to Israel’s security,” he added.
