Lightheaded Lightfoot. Yes, Fear America's Intelligence Agencies And Leadership, The Mass Media And Social Media Oligarchs. Noa Tishby Explains.

The Mayor of Chicago has one problem, Lori Lightfoot has hers in her mouth. She is a typical Democrat disaster in that she is all talk,  a horrible administrator, imbued with her own self-importance, a hypocrite racist, a disgrace and beyond dumb.

Chicago police said this week that if it weren't for a good guy with a gun, a criminal who shot and killed one woman and injured two others on Independence Day may have gotten away with the heinous attack.

What happened?

According to the Chicago Tribune, officers were alerted to an active shooting in a South Austin alley at around 10:45 p.m. Sunday. A police notification said that a man in his 30s had approached the area and "began shooting at the victims."

By the time police arrived, they discovered four people wounded by gunfire. But after assessing the scene, officials reportedly determined that one of the wounded individuals was the gunman who had opened fire on the three others before an uninvolved bystander had stepped in to neutralize the attacker.

The uninvolved bystander — a 49-year-old man with a concealed carry license — had reportedly witnessed the attack and quickly responded by drawing his weapon and shooting at the gunman, striking him in the arm and the hip.

The Tribune reported that the three victims in the attack included a 45-year-old woman, Janina Ford, and a 32-year-old man and a 49-year-old man whose identities have not been made public.

Ford was shot in the head during the attack and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The two others suffered gunshot wounds to their bodies. They were both taken to a nearby hospital where their conditions have stabilized.

The attacker, later identified as 34-year-old Calvin Gonnigan, was also taken to nearby Stroger Hospital and listed in serious condition. While at the hospital he was "placed in custody," police said.

On Wednesday, the Chicago Police Department announced that Gonnigan had been charged with one count of first-degree murder, one count of aggravated assault, and two counts of attempted first-degree murder — all felonies.

Anything else?

The violence came as a part of a particularly bloody Fourth of July weekend in the Windy City as more than 100 residents were shot and 17 were killed. Sadly, the holiday violence was only a continuation of what Chicagoans have been experiencing for over a year.

Yet in the face of soaring crime, Democratic Mayor Lori Lightfoot has continued to blame guns and systemic racism for the city's woes and has called for increased gun control to help curb the violence. However, in this case, taking the gun out of a good guy's hand would only have led to further violence.

San Francisco residents suffering under a crime surge in the Bay Area could be excused if they found themselves a bit perplexed by the latest race-baiting claim emanating from one of the senior officials in the District Attorney’s Office this week.

Though crime is spiking in the City by the Bay — as it is in many U.S. cities — at least one member of the DA’s office linked citizens’ worries about the safety of their families to racism, Fox News reported Monday.

What’s happening?

The Bay Area, like much of the rest of the nation, has seen a significant uptick in crime heavily impact its people over the last several months. For example:

  • No one can forget the man on a bicycle in a San Francisco Walgreens filling a trash bag with stolen goods and wheeling out the front door as security looked on helplessly.
  • Oakland’s police chief had to rebuke elected officials for their “defund the police” efforts that have led to increases in violent crime.
  • Target announced that its San Francisco stores will be closing earlier than normal because of thieves.
  • A pair of armed robbers attempted to steal camera equipment while Oakland’s violence prevention director was giving an interview on rising crime.
  • A deadly shooting in Oakland went down during Juneteenth celebrations — though it did not stop revelers from getting their twerk on atop the ambulance that came to help during the emergency.
  • Multiple attacks on Asians — including an Asian police officer — have occurred in broad daylight on San Francisco’s streets.

A recent poll from the city’s Chamber of Commerce revealed that some 40% of San Franciscans plan to leave the city in the next few years due to concerns about rising crime and homelessness.

But according to Kate Chatfield, who serves as senior director in left-wing District Attorney Chesa Boudin’s office, those people concerned about crime have racial issues, not legitimate fears about the spike in lawlessness.

Chatfield’s comments came in a Sunday night tweet, Fox News said, in response to a Twitter user who claimed “every single one of my friends right now is considering leaving SF (and frankly, myself included).”

“The biggest driver is no longer cost of living,” the writer said. “It’s crime.”

“My friends are scared for their children, and their husbands are scared for their wives,” the user wrote.

Chatfield responded that the claims of crime fears are much like the racism and ideology of old-time white supremacists.

“‘Husbands are scared for their wives’ — your reminder that the ‘crime surge’ crowd shares the same ideology as The Birth of a Nation,” Chatfield wrote, referring to the 1915 white supremacist film, Fox News said.

Chatfield has since locked her Twitter account, and the DA’s office has not responded to Fox News’ requests for comment.

We now learn America's Intelligence Agency goons have been monitoring Tucker Carlson, began the defeat of Trump's Presidency even before he and members of his team entered the White House.

The uppermost senior members of these same intelligence agencies apparently were egged on and/their acts condoned by Obama and they also lied as they testified before Congress. We are still waiting for the Durham Report after about two years and Hunter still walks the streets.

No wonder America is in decline and more Americans distrust their government and the mass media than ever before and rightly so. Include me in that mix. .+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Finally, I am reading two books at the same time.  One is by Louis Menard and entitled: "The Free World"  I mentioned this one in previous memos.

The second book is by Noa Tishby and is entitled: "Israel - A Simple Guide To The Most Misunderstood Country On Earth."  I came by this book because a very dear Christian friend and fellow memo reader  made the unpardonable mistake of defending Israel and was slammed for not defending the "Poor Palestinians" instead. He came to me asking for a simple book which would allow him to rebut and I referred him to several friends who I knew would be more authoritative because my reading is limited  to Dershowitz's: "The Case For Israel" which is more lawyerly.

As noted previously, my father was an ardent Zionist and strongly believed it was critical for Jews to return to their historical and biblical roots and have their own country.. I will not go into his rationale but suffice it to say that I, like all children, am a mixture of my parents and am also a Zionist.

The founder of Zionism , Theodor Herzl, never lived to see his dream come true but he died knowing/
proclaiming it would and soit has come to pass.

On page 61, I thought the author gave a poignant explanation when she wrote that Judaism can be viewed through four pillars: religion, peoplehood, tikkun olam and nationhood.

The first being personal and observed differently.

The second she describes as encompassing a shared legacy, history, family and educational traditions linking generations.

Tikkun olam is a command to make the world a better place.  Certainly Israel has been a boon to the world in that regard and this is why I post "Good News Israel."

In my opinion, the establishment of Israel and Truman's support of this event was one of the finest moment's in history because it was just and woefully long overdue.  It was the world and even the U.N. at it's best.

The attack on this tiny nation concurrent with it's birth set the tone for all that came thereafter and  marked, again in my opinion, why the world has returned to being such a sordid place and the Palestinians, assorted Arabs, Muslims and radical Islamists missed a God given opportunity.

Had the Colonial Europeans followed the dictates of Lawrence and Faisal the world would have been a better and more peaceful place but man seems to always choose to follow the dictates of evil leadership as we are today.
