Most Unusual For Me. My Essay - Let Good Times Roll. Biden Turns Back. Heathen Islamists Keep Lying.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The market was given a positive dose of good earning reports in the first quarter and the next two quarters will also allow for good comparisons.  Cost cuts should begin in the 4th quarter and we are in a presidential year which historically bodes well for the market.  The Fed should to cut rates long before the election.

Spring is coming which bodes well for oil stocks and should the summer months be extremely hot that will help gas stocks.

Companies with good earning comparisons should continue to outperform and earning surprises should propel those stocks further.

The bridge destruction in Maryland is a negative and will disrupt commerce and then there is the disturbing split between Israel and America.

The future remains bleak  but elections could make matters a bit brighter if Biden is blown out of office. He does not deserve to be re-elected nor the Democrats deserve to retain their numbers in Congress.

The  radicals have tried to convince us Trump will destroy our Democracy.  Once again, they project their own "doings" on their adversary.   Trump has issues. However,  if you separate his accomplishments from his personality and neophyte first term in office, he accomplished many positive things against great odds.

I remain positive and hopeful. Most unusual for me.

I recently read an Op Ed by William McGurn of The Wall street Journal; (see attached.) He suggested Biden's decision to go into the "mocking" ring with Trump, since his frailty will not allow him to take Trump behind the school yard for a thumping, was not wise based on Trump's ability to hang some devastating namesakes on his opponents.

I suggest Trump begin with "Deficit Joe "or" Spendthrift Joe" or maybe "Beachy Joe" or "Unfortunate Cookie."  Even "Chopsticks Joe" might work.   Mc Gurn is right Joe don't  s--- a s------ as the crude saying goes.  After all, even Schumer went out of his way to warn Trump not to strike the intelligence agencies'  "bee nest's." Trump chose not to listen and look where that got him.

We learned our intelligence agencies will stop at nothing to break laws to accomplish their nefarious goals because they are untethered and thus, able to become omnipotent.  Even those who created Russia's Gulag's probably stand in awe at what the CIA and FBI have been able to pull off in a nation that once prided itself for law and order. Congress even set up special FISA Courts to protect citizen right's and they Fisa Judgeswere flimmed and flammed by FBI Senior Officers.

No, Joe if you want to avoid being pretzeled, even though you are a native of Pennsylvania,  I would advise you stay away from dueling with Trump. In  fact you are so  down  in  the polls it would be wise for you Democrats to stop piling on with more charges that are unconstitutional and simply reveal your radical collective intent to bankrupt him.

In fact, it should be obvious by now Americans do no cotton to bullying. Consequently,  every time you hit Trump, as if he was a piƱata, he gained more empathy and every time you went to the beach and still drew a paycheck, without working, you simply gave him another ball which he was able to knock out of the park..

Every time another illegal crashes a Texas fence and enters our nation the same thing happens, Trump solidifies the base you guys once monopolized and chose to abandon. Voters are not as dumb as you think. Never forget, the GOP's symbol is an elephant and elephants are known to have solid memories.

Also, even your friends, in FBI leadership, have been warning you Democrats, they are concerned another 9/11 could be around the corner. We may be a divided nation now but I believe a terrorist attack connected to your open border policy would not play well in Peoria. It might even unite the nation and become your death knell.

It is evident you are frustrated as is your White House staff. You were so adept at lying low in the basement and outright lying and now those unkept promises made are coming home to roost. You failed to unite the nation. You told some whoppers about never being involved with your son or knowing what he was about in his various shakedown dealings. Now those GOP elephants are circling your wagon and a man called Bobolinski has testified, under oath, what we suspected all along.

You still remain blessed to have a candidate who has proven capable of shooting off his mouth and toes but that may not prove to be a reliable phenomena. Bad things have away of mounting.

I mince no words when I say I hope you lose because we have endured the consequences of your poor judgement and mean spirit long enough.

Yes, I would prefer Di Santis was opposing you but Trump is my rational alternative.

You may take away my gas engine car, you may force me to own a refrigerator that watches my every move and cook with some kind of nonsense fuel.  You may force blackouts on me with your green policies and pay for gasoline that cripples any kitchen table budget.

However, you have not, as yet, taken away my sacred right to vote and my obligatory duty to always cast a vote.

The one thing I fervently hope you and your radical friends will not do is tamper with the vote.  Let's have an election we can trust.  Your crowd might not like this plea but I believe we are still entitled to that basic request.

Let the good times roll.

‘Sleepy Joe’ vs. ‘Broke Don’
You can’t out-Trump Trump. That’s one of the biggest lessons of the past decade.
By William McGurn

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, as Oscar Wilde tells us, Joe Biden just paid Donald Trump a compliment. It’s a nickname: “Broke Don.”

It’s also a terrible idea.

Broke Don made its debut in a Thursday email from the Biden-Harris campaign. The missive was pegged to the Federal Election Commission’s release of the latest campaign financial reports. The FEC reports the incumbent president outraising his GOP rival, with $71 million cash on hand. That’s more than double the Trump campaign’s $33.5 million.

But the email’s headline attracted all the attention: “Not a Winning Campaign: Broke Don Hides in Basement.”

No doubt Mr. Biden is itching to give Mr. Trump a taste of his own medicine. For years Mr. Trump has made great sport of Mr. Biden, first as “Sleepy Joe” and now, for the 2024 election, as “Crooked Joe.” In 2016 Mr. Biden even declared he wished the two were back in high school so he could take Mr. Trump “behind the gym” to teach him some manners.

But this is Mr. Trump’s game, and he’s good at it. “It’s such a dumb idea,” says Matt Gorman, a former senior adviser to the Tim Scott for President campaign. “Biden’s staff I’m sure love it and will pitch stories about how it’s all about ‘getting in Trump’s head.’ But we’ve learned some ironclad lessons over the last decade with Trump. One of the biggest is you can’t out-Trump Trump. He will go further and farther and you’ll look ridiculous.”

History bears Mr. Gorman out. During his 2016 campaign, the New York real-estate developer and reality TV star faced 10 conventional candidates in the Republican presidential primaries. One by one, he mowed them down. All with the help of nicknames that made fun of rivals in a way that diminished them.

Thus did Sen. Marco Rubio become “Little Marco.” Sen. Ted Cruz was rebaptized “Lyin’ Ted Cruz.” Former Gov. Jeb Bush was “Low Energy Jeb.” Not all Trump nicknames are successful: Calling former Gov. Nikki Haley “Birdbrain” just sounded mean. They may all be playground taunts but Mr. Trump’s critics miss that they are often funny.

Mr. Trump’s foes continue to struggle to find a way to respond to a man always willing to go where no one else will. Only one man attempted to give back as good as he got. That was Mr. Rubio, who referred to Mr. Trump’s “small hands,” picking up on Spy magazine’s 1980s description of Mr. Trump as a “short-fingered vulgarian.”

It backfired. At a March 3, 2016, debate, Mr. Trump brought up Mr. Rubio’s small-hands remark. Mr. Trump said: “He referred to my hands, if they are small, something else must be small. I guarantee you there is no problem.” Within a week, Mr. Rubio was crying uncle. “I’ll never do it again,” he told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer.

Mr. Trump then directed his nicknames at the Democrats. “Crooked Hillary” was his most successful. Sen. Elizabeth Warren became “Pocahontas,” a reference to her claims of Native American ancestry, which allowed Harvard Law School to hold her out as a diversity hire.

Mostly those who have been stuck with one of Mr. Trump’s nicknames have learned not to respond. They know what the Biden-Harris campaign seems not to: that any response only guarantees further escalation.

The “Broke Don” moniker is curious for another reason. No doubt the intent is to get under Mr. Trump’s skin, given his pride in his businesses and wealth. But the decision to mock him as broke comes just as an appellate panel stepped in to reduce an outrageous bond from an outrageous decision in an outrageous suit brought by the New York attorney general in an outrageous effort to take Mr. Trump’s properties from him.

Mr. Trump offers many traits that might make for a catchy nickname—his bombast, his patterns of speech, his hair. But reminding people that he could end up “broke” because of a Democratic state official’s zeal to stretch the law to get the presumptive Republican nominee for president isn’t the best play. To the contrary, it only vindicates his claim that Democrats are out to bankrupt him by hook or crook.

The irony is that President Biden’s huge fundraising advantage is genuine good news for the Biden-Harris campaign at a time when poll after poll brings nothing but bad news. True, Mr. Trump defeated Mrs. Clinton despite being outspent 2 to 1. But given how much pro-Trump PACs and the Republican National Committee are now spending on his legal defenses, it means fewer dollars for the election.

Mr. Biden won four years ago because he stayed in his Delaware basement for much of the campaign. He portrayed himself as the candidate who would govern modestly, restore normalcy to the White House, and stop the polarization of America.

As president he hasn’t lived up to the moderate Joe Biden he promised. If “Broke Don” is any indication where he’s now going, he will make an even worse Donald Trump.

Op-ed: Biden turning his back on Israel at the United Nations is the ultimate betrayal

After yesterday’s historic moment at the United Nations Security Council, Joe Biden and the radical Democrats' Middle East foreign policy standpoint has never been clearer.
By Mark Meckler

After yesterday’s historic moment at the United Nations Security Council, Joe Biden and the radical Democrats' Middle East foreign policy standpoint has never been clearer: embolden Iran — a nation openly committed to the destruction of the U.S. — abandon, or even worse, pressure Israel in her time of need, and award terrorists who cower behind human shields.

As recently as March 23, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken publicly insisted that the Biden administration stands behind “Israel’s goal of defeating Hamas…and of securing Israel’s long-term security.” And yet, somehow, they seem to expect Israel to achieve that goal while operating under a ceasefire. Ostensibly because of Ramadan. But when have the Palestinians, or any other jihadis observed a peaceful stand down on Jewish holidays. Don’t look at your calendar…the answer is never.

On Monday, the United Nations — a corrupt, anti-American, anti-freedom globalist enterprise completely uninterested in Western values — voted to demand an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip in the ongoing war between Israel and the murderous terrorist group Hamas. The resolution was spearheaded by Russia and China. The United States, which could have vetoed the measure, instead abstained, permitting the abhorrent resolution to pass.

To recap, Hamas broke the preexisting “peace” with Israel when it barbarically slaughtered over twelve hundred Jews on October 7, 2024. Hamas fighters raped women, butchered children, tortured civilians and captured hostages.

Then, Hamas terrorists hid behind hospitals, schools, and other civilian areas in an intentional bid to use non-combatants as a shield against the Israeli military. Meanwhile, they have openly threatened that the horrors of October 7 will commence “a second, a third, a fourth” time until Israel is annihilated.

That’s the kind of enemy — the kind of pure, unmitigated evil — that Israel, our ally, is up against.

And yet, despite all of this, the world community has put the onus on Israel to accommodate a ceasefire — a ceasefire with a group whose founding charter states, “There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad [war]. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors.”

If the Biden Administration were opposed to the tragic death of innocent civilians, they would direct their outrage solely at Hamas, without whom this war would not have started and who could end it today by simply surrendering.

Yet the Biden administration has made zero demands of Hamas. In fact, today’s U.N. resolution did not even condemn the terrorist group. It seems the Biden Administration wants to make winning the war as difficult as possible for Israel while at the same time treating Islamic terrorists with kid gloves, rather than eradicating Nazi-level anti-Semitism (and anti-Americanism) from the face of the earth.

Where are the Biden-backed U.N. resolutions calling for Hamas to stand down? Why aren’t we demanding that they surrender, renounce their inhuman use of human shields and vow never again to take up arms against Israel? Blinken may say he and the president share Israel’s goals, but their actions suggest otherwise.

Of course, this is nothing but a continuation of Barack Obama’s abysmal foreign policy. The former president believed very strongly in appeasing and empowering Iran, offering billions of dollars in the hopes that the mullahs would behave.

President Trump, to his credit, pursued a very different course, canceling hundreds of millions of dollars of “humanitarian” aid into Gaza upon learning that the money may have been diverted into terrorists’ hands. “We have undertaken a review of U.S. assistance to the Palestinian Authority and in the West Bank and Gaza to ensure these funds are spent in accordance with U.S. national interests and provide value to the U.S. taxpayer,” his administration announced.

But Biden resumed the Obama-Chamberlain policy of appeasement, “U.S. national interests” or Israel’s security be damned. “We assess there is a high risk Hamas could potentially derive indirect, unintentional benefit from U.S. assistance to Gaza,” the State Department reportedly warned him; nevertheless, he decided to spend hundreds of millions of dollars, arming and supporting Hamas. Moreover, Biden, as one headline described, “keeps the billions flowing to Iran.”

Together with the U.N., the United States has sent a terrifying signal to our enemies in the Middle East: attack our democratic allies, threaten to do it “again and again,” and when they retaliate, hide behind human shields, and we will put pressure on the good guys, on Israel, to play nice.

Never forget this moment in time when Biden and the U.S. could have easily put a stop to this pro-terrorist resolution with our total veto power in the Security Council. Instead of doing so, he showed the world how much of a coward he truly has become in his old age.

Heathen Islamist terrorist animals still lie:
+++
Dear Dick,

Today Amit Soussana, a 40-year-old Israeli lawyer who was brutally beaten, dragged to Gaza, and sexually abused in captivity, courageously revealed her story of horrific torture during her 55 days held hostage.

The details are extremely painful to read, but must be shared.

"Several days into her captivity, she said, her guard began asking about her sex life. Ms. Soussana said she was held alone in a child’s bedroom, chained by her left ankle. Sometimes, the guard would enter, sit beside her on the bed, lift her shirt and touch her."

"Around Oct. 24, the guard, who called himself Muhammad, attacked her…'He came towards me and shoved the gun at my forehead,' Ms. Soussana recalled during eight hours of interviews with The New York Times…'Then he, with the gun pointed at me, forced me to commit a sexual act on him.'"
Israeli President Isaac Herzog posted, "Amit Soussana speaks for all those who cannot speak. She speaks for all the victims of Hamas' despicable sexual crimes and abuse. She speaks for all women everywhere. The whole world has the moral duty to stand with Amit - and all the victims - in condemning Hamas’s brutal terror, and in demanding the immediate return of all the hostages."

Read the full Times story here, share it on Instagram here, and read a recap in The Times of Israel here.
VIDEO: Jamaal Bowman told crowd 'no evidence' of raped women

In a newly surfaced video from the weeks after Hamas’ brutal October 7 attack, New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman said to a cheering anti-Israel crowd, "There was propaganda used since the beginning of the siege. There’s still no evidence of beheaded babies or raped women. But they still keep using that lie [for] propaganda."

Bowman is accusing Israel of spreading propaganda — while repeatedly spreading Hamas’ propaganda himself.

When pressed today after the video surfaced, Bowman tried to walk back the remarks but notably failed to apologize for them.

Sincerely,

Alisha Tischler
