"Police State" Film. Pitiful Biden. Home Plate. Soros Winning? Sowell No Drip. They Made America Great.

Niall Ferguson describes the ideological and practical rationale behind Europeans’ reluctance to support Israel’s fight against Hamas following the terrorist attacks of October 7. He argues that the European leaders’ strategy to prioritize Ukraine’s defense against Russia over Israel’s fight with its adversaries is misguided. As he explains, the two conflicts are already too intertwined to be considered in isolation from each other.

Exclusive: FBI Whistleblowers Urge Americans to Watch New ‘Police State’ Film

Exclusive: FBI Whistleblowers Urge Americans to Watch New ‘Police State’ Film

Dinesh D’Souza’s new movie “Police State” premiered this week, and two FBI whistleblowers featured in the film are urging Americans from all political viewpoints to watch the movie and “understand how broken our system has become.”

Steve Friend and Kyle Seraphin both used to be FBI agents until the blatant weaponization of the FBI under Joe Biden caused them to become whistleblowers. Seraphin and Friend were among the experts D’Souza featured in “Police State,” which has its virtual premiere Friday night (Oct. 27). They told me why they think this film is so important for all Americans to see in exclusive comments to PJ Media.

Friend explained, ”I’ve spent the last year traveling and speaking against the weaponized FBI and DOJ. ‘Police State’ brilliantly highlights many of the abuses our government regularly perpetrates against citizens of every race, creed, and political ideology.” He added, “It is imperative for Americans to watch this film and understand how broken our system has become.”

Seraphin explained why the film is personally relevant to viewers, “In order to prepare for a threat, you must be able to recognize the threat. Many Americans see a small portion of the movements of the state against individual liberties, but they don’t see each piece of evidence as part of a larger movement and the danger that movement presents to the concept of a free Constitutional republic.”

Americans from all political viewpoints deserve to see the full picture. “’Police State’ connects dots in the context of how each data point shows a larger picture of incremental tyranny,” Seraphin told me. “This is not a political film as the Police State has been encouraged by Republicans and Democrats alike.“

Indeed, with peaceful, ordinary American citizens including pro-lifers, traditional Catholics, MAGA, and concerned parents targeted by the federal government, and with the mass tech-government online censorship effort, no one can afford to ignore this reality. During COVID-19, we saw many of our basic constitutional rights suspended almost overnight. An overreaching federal government affects everyone.

The “Police State” film highlighted how the FBI after the Patriot Act had more demand for anti-terrorism resources than supply, meaning they turned resources meant to be used against violent terrorists against Americans instead, including those with political viewpoints of which the government does not approve. “What we need is a person to look at, and then we go out and find what crime you did,” Seraphin summed it up in the movie. Friend, as shown in the film, resigned from the FBI after he realized the threat of counter-terrorism was being inflated falsely to justify unconstitutional force against individuals with certain political opinions — especially the Jan. 6 protestors.

”Police State” was a terrifying movie to watch, but it ended on a note of hope — an encouragement for all viewers to sing the National Anthem in solidarity with the Jan. 6 political prisoners. If Americans know what the federal government is trying to do and stand up to it, united, we can stop tyranny in its tracks.

Biden Slowly and Methodically Beats the War Drum
BY MILT HARRIS

Since Joe Biden was placed in office (some would say he was not elected), the entire world has realized that he is nothing more than a meat puppet. The trick for any foreign or domestic official dealing with him has become a guessing game as to who is pulling his strings at any given time. I’m not going to speculate as to who has been manipulating the pot roast with eyes recently, although I have some ideas, but whoever it is, they are definitely entering questionable and dangerous territory.

The current puppeteer(s) are looking for a fight. Under Trump, the world was a quiet place. The loudest war during the entire Trump presidency existed between a disgustingly biased MSM and the president himself. Even then, Trump wouldn’t back down. He stood directly in front of his adversaries and took hours’ worth of questions. He proved that there absolutely can be peace through strength. To all of the Trump haters out there, the one thing you can’t hate is that the man was always looking out for the United States 100% of the time.

Biden is the exact opposite. More clown than president, this mind-numbing zero makes Jimmy Carter look like a brain surgeon. The far left has dominated every policy decision that he has made. His administration has destroyed our education system, our foreign policy, and our energy independence and weakened our military. We are a country on many precipices, and now he has brought us to the edge of war.

His mindless financing of Ukraine was beyond the pale a year ago. Now even his own party can’t avoid the stench of the rat. This was after his beyond-disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan and his continuous funding of terrorism by sending billions of dollars to Iran.

The American public has grown weary of the tired old man in the White House. The only people who still embrace him are the radicals from the far left who live rent-free in his empty head and the “Mindless Stream Media” that are so baffled by life that they think they are advancing society through the denial of science and biology.

Biden didn’t spend all his idiocy on foreign soil. On the home front, he has left all of our borders wide open. Crime in Democrat cities is out of control, and a tiered justice system now undeniably exists in the country. Inflation is rampant, and there aren’t any indicators that show that trend changing. Biden’s puppeteers created the quicksand and threw the country into it. Now up to their necks, they turn to the only thing they know: war.

Democrats love power, and they are great at spinning their failures into palatable excuses that they feed to the American public. They saw Hamas attacking Israel as an opportunity. In their simple minds, they saw that bloodthirsty attack as an opportunity to “pretend” to rescue Israel. I say pretend because this administration has made it clear that it doesn’t give a damn about Israel. However, never let a good crisis go to waste, and by playing white knight, Biden’s controllers thought their phony big-brother hero imitation would save the 2024 election. They knew that their far-left policies won’t stop inflation, illegal immigration, or rampant crime in revolving-door Democrat cities. So they needed a distraction, and a “feel-good” war has always done the trick.

Not so fast. The climate of hate that the far left has cultivated here in the States is not working for Biden. On college campuses across the country, far-left zombies are protesting against Israel, which is so ironic, because the hate the administration initiated is now obstructing their “clean” entrance into a “rally-around-the-flag war.”

My memos are not for clueless wimpy snowflakes and assorted other types that spend fortunes to go to elite colleges and universities, learn nothing, then spew their radical  hateful, misguided blather recklessly on their campuses.

My memos are for objective citizens whose minds are not closed, who seek common sense and empirical information that help them form their own ideas and beliefs.

I try to present information that is conservative but also rational, that formed the basis of why America became the world's greatest nation and yet, for a variety of reasons, many Americans have chosen to seek another destructive  path because radical professors have penetrated their unformed/spongy minds with mush.  Socialism has failed wherever tried, Communism has enslaved wherever embraced and anti-Semitism and radical Islam are  not the path most rational religions preach.

Experimentation is part of the learning curve but when it's message proves destructive it is time to bury those dangerous ideas and, perhaps, return wisely  to the tried and true, ie. "home plate."

Guess Who Funded the Pro-Palestinian ‘Insurrectionists’ on Capitol Hill
BY MATT MARGOLIS

Last week a group of pro-Palestinian protestors stormed the Cannon House Office Building and staged a protest inside the Rotunda. Protests are not allowed in congressional buildings, so they had no right to be there. Roughly 300 of these protesters were arrested for illegally demonstrating, and a few more were charged with assaulting police officers.

The protest, which promptly met the qualifications of an insurrection (according to Democrats), was organized by the supposed “Jewish” organizations Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and IfNotNow. How Jewish are these groups in reality? I dare say very little.

IfNotNow claims to be an organization of Jews but doesn’t appear to have any good relations with longstanding Jewish advocacy groups. Similarly, JVP is likely no more Jewish than Joe Biden. JVP doesn’t even claim to be an organization exclusively for Jewish anti-Zionists but merely “an organization that is inspired by Jewish values and traditions to work towards peace and justice.”

How did such fringe groups acquire the resources to stage a massive protest at the Capitol? Just follow the money, which leads us to George Soros.

“Through Soros’s philanthropic work, JVP was awarded several grants totaling $650,000 that bankrolled its ‘human rights’ campaign and ‘social welfare activities’ in the Middle East, according to a grant database maintained by the Soros-funded Open Society Foundations, the central hub of the financier’s anti-capitalist, redistributionist network,” writes Mia Cathell over at our sister site Townhall. “The Soros-branded Open Society Policy Center Inc. — once the second-largest spender on federal lobbying after the U.S. Chamber of Commerce — donated $150,000 and $200,000 in 2021 and 2019, respectively, to the Jewish Voice for Peace Action Incorporated, JVP’s tax-exempt 501(c)(3). And, in 2017, Soros’s primary grant-giving vehicle, the Foundation to Promote Open Society, gifted JVP $300,000.”

For our VIPs: In the Soros Justice System, No Conservative Is Safe

IfNotNow has also been the beneficiary of Soros’s money. “Soros’s grant-making Foundation to Promote Open Society handed $200,000 in 2019 and another $200,000 in 2021 to the 501(c)(3) IfNotNow Education Fund for growing membership, visibility, and impact around ‘general support’ to end Israeli ‘occupation in the Middle East’ (meaning the eradication of Israel), Open Society Foundations grant records show.”

Should we really be all that surprised that Soros’s hand is in all this? Soros-funded prosecutors have been weaponizing the justice system against Trump and conservatives; with all of his resources, it’s a no-brainer to imagine that he’s funding various organizations that are causing civil unrest. For decades, Soros has made his intentions about using his wealth and resources to advance leftist causes clear. His handpicked prosecutors are trying to put Trump behind bars as we speak. Before long, none of us will be safe from the clutches of the web of corruption funded by Soros.

The real question is, what are we going to do about it? The first step in defeating your enemies is knowing where they are. That’s why we at PJ Media will continue to do our part to report the truth and expose those who have been corrupted by George Soros and his empire. We are not afraid to call them out, but we need your help if we’re ultimately going to succeed.

Big Tech, which doesn’t want the truth exposed, routinely hampers our efforts. Outlets censor our reporting and demonetize us for daring to speak the truth. ‘All-Out Victory’: Hezbollah Chief Holds Terror Summit with Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad Leaders

Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah speaks on “Resistance and Liberation Day,” May 25, 2021. Source: Al Manar.
By Frances Martel

Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the Shiite terrorist organization Hezbollah, convened a summit featuring top leaders from Sunni terrorist organizations Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) on Wednesday, allegedly meant to plan future violence following Hamas’s mass murder of over 1,400 Israelis on October 7.

The Hezbollah-owned Al-Manar propaganda outlet named Nasrallah’s guests as Islamic Jihad Secretary General Ziad Nakhale and Hamas deputy chief Saleh Al-Arouri and called the meeting “highly anticipated” and “monumental” in the jihadist community, as it was the first summit of its kind since October 7.

On that day, Hamas launched what it calls the “al-Aqsa flood,” an expansive terrorist invasion of Israel in which Hamas thugs tortured, raped, and butchered civilian families in their homes. Terrorists went door-to-door massacring Israelis; evidence compiled by Israeli authorities included gruesome scenes of people, including infants, burned alive, stabbed to death, and decapitated.

One of the largest single death tolls in the day occurred at a music festival, where Hamas terrorists opened fire on crowds of attendees and abducted civilians via motorcycle.

Hamas terrorists also desecrated corpses and filmed themselves doing so in an apparently drug-fueled frenzy.

PIJ has served as a junior partner in terror attacks on Israel, attempting to shoot rockets at Israeli targets. Last week, a misfired rocket identified as originating with PIJ hit the Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, killing dozens (estimates range between 50 and 500 people). Pro-Palestinian groups initially blamed the attack on the Israeli government.

The Hezbollah terror summit was meant as a display of solidarity across Islamic lines for the common goal of destroying Israel and committing genocide against Jewish people.

All three groups support the eradication of Israel and have orchestrated attacks to kill Jews regardless of their affiliation with Israel.

“The leaders tackled latest developments since the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and the events that followed on all fronts including the confrontations across the border between Lebanon and the occupied Palestine,” the Hezbollah “media relations office” said in its statement on the meeting. Al-Manar said that the groups also discussed “subsequent ramifications” of the Hamas killings, without elaborating.

“Sayyed Nasrallah assessed with Nakhale and Al-Arouri the international and regional stances as well as steps to be taken by the Axis of Resistance in this critical phase,” Hezbollah explained, “in order to achieve an all-out victory and to stop the brutal attack on the oppressed people of Gaza and the West Bank.”

Islamic theology disagreements aside, Hezbollah has supported Hamas following the October 7 massacre with attacks from Lebanon, where it is established as a political party and influential hub of power. According to the Qatari outlet al-Jazeera, which is sympathetic to anti-Israel groups, Hezbollah “has had near-daily exchanges of fire with Israeli forces along the Israeli-Lebanese border.”

Iran’s PressTV state propaganda outlet reported on Wednesday that, in addition to Nasrallah’s meeting, the terrorist organization’s “Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem” issued statements threatening a full-scale Hezbollah assault on Israel.

“Sheikh Qassem said in a post published on social media that Hezbollah has its ‘finger on the trigger’ to whatever extent it deems necessary to defend Gaza and to face off the occupiers of Palestine,” PressTV relayed.

“Hezbollah has warned that it will join the Palestinian resistance in the fight against Israel if the occupying regime escalates its aggression on Gaza and in case foreign military forces intervene to help the Israeli regime in the battle.”

Israel has for years warned that is a direct proxy of the Iranian government and intends to destroy the country.

“Iran has proxies. One of them is Hezbollah. Hezbollah just joined the government of Lebanon. That’s a misnomer; they actually control the government of Lebanon,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned the United Nations in 2019. “It means that Iran controls the government of Lebanon.”

Hezbollah, PIJ, and Hamas all enjoy lavish financial support from Iran, the world’s premier state sponsor of terrorism. According to a 2020 report by the U.S. State Department, Iran funnels about $100 million a year to Hamas and PIJ. Estimates suggest that Hezbollah receives a much more formidable $700 million a year from the Iranian Islamist regime.

A spokesman for Hamas told the BBC on October 7 that Iran offered “direct backing” for the massacre.

Despite its prominent role in the conflict already, Iran has threatened repeatedly to become directly involved in attacks on Israel.

“The continuation of the Zionist regime’s crimes (in Gaza) and the direct support and backing from certain countries would further complicate the situation and could make other actors intervene in this arena,” the head of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri, said last week, leaving open the possibility that Iran would be one of those “other actors.”

“Our strategy towards the Zionist entity never changes: the removal of the Zionist entity. Israel must be eliminated,” Iranian Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier-General Abolfazl Shekarchi said in 2021.

Thanks, Hamas, for showing us true evil
By Douglas Altabef

Their unspeakable brutality must serve as a worldwide wakeup call.

In Jewish tradition, we are always advised to look for the good within the bad, to find something redeeming from a terrible situation. One sees it with the families of terror victims who take their nightmare and turn it into the blessing of helping others or otherwise creating goodness in the world.

Perhaps Oct. 7, Israel’s Black Shabbat, is the exception that proves the rule. Perhaps there is no redemptive quality to be found amidst the evil. However, the very magnitude of the despicable horror could lead to something better.

Perhaps it required an act so severe, so extreme, so manifestly inhuman, to jar us, to get our attention, to be the slap in the existential face that will cause us to stop and ask: What has happened to us, to all of us?

The questioning starts here in Israel, though we are well advised to put it aside while we are in the midst of war. But rest assured that there will be massive questioning of political assumptions and security assumptions. There will be a reassessment of the reality of the neighborhood we live in and the true goals and aspirations of our enemies.

But the wakeup call must have a far broader impact. The international reaction to the massacres, the whitewashing, excusing and, even worse, endorsement of Hamas must be seen as crystal clear evidence of a world unhinged.

In particular, elite universities in the United States have become a moral cesspool. A recent poll showed that a majority of 18–24-year-olds in the U.S. side with Hamas. What can we look forward to as this generation ages and assumes control of the world?

It is hard to know where to start in reappraising the state of our civilization. Wokeism, the insistence that there are the oppressors and the oppressed, and to the former no mercy is due and from the latter no accountability is required, must bear a great deal of the blame for the current state of things.

We have taught a new generation that criteria none of us select but which are bestowed upon us at birth—our race, sex, ethnicity and so on—determine how we go through life.

We are happily replicating segregation, caste systems and the worst attitudes towards one another in the name of—what? Anti-racism? Intersectionality?

For many of us, the most painful thing has been to see the complete debasement—nay, the treason—of young Jews who give aid, comfort and cover to anti-Semites by enlisting in their cause of denigrating, delegitimizing and, ultimately, destroying the State of Israel.

If you have ever wondered what motivated our rabbis of old to add the prayer against heretics to the Eighteen Blessings that serve as the core of our thrice-daily prayers, look no further than groups such as If Not Now, Jewish Voice for Peace and the individual “as a Jew” abettors of Jew-hatred.

Shockingly, there seems to be a profound generation gap in Western society. Older people are imbued with classic liberal values of tolerance and mutual respect. They are clear on what is despicably unacceptable, no matter who perpetrates it. But they stand in direct opposition to a younger generation imbued with determinism and a willingness to condemn based on self-accorded criteria of good and evil.

Can we change the reigning nightmare? Can we arrest a mindset that will tolerate, even endorse genocide if it is the genocide of the “right people”?

What we are seeing is the pervasiveness of warped and terrifying values and policies that will be extremely hard to counter, let alone uproot.

But if evil ultimately cannot be seen for what it is; if it cannot be rejected, scorned and hated simply because it is evil; then our moral compass is not just broken, it is non-existent.

Hamas has forced us to recognize that, for many, the worst of humanity can be excused. There are no longer any moral red lines. This has the potential to replicate the worst of totalitarian societies—the Jacobins, the Bolsheviks, the Nazis, the Maoists—in which the unacceptable could change by the hour and, ultimately, life was just a brutal exercise of power.

Israel’s reckoning will be a strategic one, not a moral one. The reaction of Israeli society to the horrors of Oct. 7 showed clearly that our moral compass is intact. We put aside all differences to unite in revulsion and resolve.

The same cannot be said for important sectors of the West. Now is the time for those who care about the future of their own societies to recognize that they have received their own wakeup call. Now is the time to stand up and call out not just hatred, but the value system that promotes it.

Time is not on the side of those who reject warped hatred. The hour is late. Thanks to Hamas, however, we now know that the need for a moral reckoning is at hand. Let’s hope the challenge is met.

Dear Dick,

I hear from people all the time that Thomas Sowell is one of their heroes. For those people—and you may be among them—I’m thrilled to share a digital copy of one of his commentaries with you, absolutely free: “Trickle Down” Theory and “Tax Cuts for the Rich.”

“Tax cuts for the rich” is a favorite argument of those who oppose lower tax rates. But does imposing higher tax rates on wealthy Americans actually increase the amount of revenue coming into the federal government?

Hoover Institution Senior Fellow Thomas Sowell takes an empirical approach in his commentary, “Trickle Down” Theory and “Tax Cuts for the Rich.”

Sowell separates fact from fiction when it comes to tax rates and uses real life data and examples to prove that lower tax rates for all actually lead to greater revenue for the government.

As a friend and supporter of the Hoover Institution, we are proud to offer you this valuable, thought-provoking resource free of charge. Click here to get your free copy of “Trickle Down” Theory and “Tax Cuts for the Rich” now.

Porter Stanberry tells the story behind these two graphic pictures. They  tell a lot about  America's economic history as well as the politics behind it.

America is basically going broke.  However, as long as other's willingly buy our bonds the inevitable can be postponed.  However, with interest rates rising, more of America's GDP continues to become  swallowed up by the federal government.

When did our government accomplish much that was productive?  The private sector and capitalists made this nation great, hard working sweaty American's made this nation great, free/creative  entrepreneurs made this nation great, legal immigrants made this nation great, families with mothers and fathers made this country great, people of faith made this country great Politicians and government bureaucrats mostly stood in their way.

Dear Reader,

99% of us are slowly going broke.

Despite massive improvements in productivity and technology, Americans continue to earn less and less money every year.

Here's the data from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis since the 1950s that proves it:

At the same time... everything keeps getting more expensive.

Just look at how inflation has impacted a can of Campbell's tomato soup over the same years:

What's causing this?

Mind you, these are not mundane data points... they're part of a huge brewing economic event that's about to impact everyone regardless of how much money you make or how much you have saved.

As Porter Stanberry says:

"I don't know why I'm the only person who sees these facts and realizes what they mean. But somehow that's been my gift. Or curse."

To hear Porter's explanation, click here.

Regards,

Brett Eversole
