An Israeli mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter won the World Combat Championship in his class earlier this month after his opponent had taunted him with Holocaust terminology, making for an especially sweet victory, Ynet’s local Beersheba and the Negev edition reported.
Rafael Aronov was set to face off against Kazakhstan’s Ilyas Sadykov in the welterweight division on March 9. Roughly two weeks before the competition, Sadykov started sending his Israeli opponent – who happens to be a Beersheba policeman in an elite unit – viciously antisemitic messages.
“While preparing for the fight,” Aronov told the outlet, “I started getting messages on Instagram from my opponent, saying things like, ‘Do you like german [sic] music?’ and ‘I will burn you like this guy,’ along with a picture of Hitler. I chose not to react, preferring to respond to [him] in the ring.”
When they were weighing in, Aronov said, “we stood face to face. There was a lot of tension in the air. There was a feeling of ‘bad blood’ between us. The fight began badly for me, I was hit hard and fell to the floor. I recovered fast and managed to bring down my opponent and beat him in a knockout.”
When asked how he felt about his victory, the 28-year-old answered, “I had a crazy sense of satisfaction. I come from a family of Holocaust survivors. I took the antisemitic statements personally, so I had a double victory – a personal one and a victory over antisemitism.”

It was also Aronov’s first championship belt.
In a separate interview on Channel 14, Aronov said that while “trash talk” was common before fights, Sadykov had “crossed the line” by saying that he’d kill him like Hitler had killed the Jews.
“There are lines that you do not cross, and there are things about which there is no forgiveness,” he said.
After the bout, the two shook hands. Although Aronov won by knockout, Sadykov complained on Instagram afterwards about the “fake” judges and demanded a rematch in his own country, The Jewish Chronicle reported.
The World Combat Games is an Olympics-recognized, international multi-sport event featuring combat sports and martial arts, ranging from karate, bare-knuckle boxing and wrestling to kickboxing and taekwondo.
In the March event, the first of its kind in Israel, local fighters were matched against opponents from around the world in several combat categories, with thousands in attendance at Tel Aviv’s Menorah Mivtachim Arena.

Certainly Soros cleverly learned, early on, how to obtain a big return on a nominal investment by funding attorney general campaigns.
These black office holders also happen to be openly anti-semitic.
As I have repeatedly pointed out, district attorney campaigns require small amounts of funding yet return disproportionate benefits because they determine what laws are enforced or not. We have witnessed the breakdown of our societal structure as law after law has been abandoned only to see commerce disrupted, theft increase, crime rise, social discord explode and you know the rest.
No civil society can survive when the nonsense these radicals profess they believe, by constant lying about a nation's history, embracing bias that is so distorted it deserves no basis of support but has been allowed to drive the debate. Meanwhile, hose, who inhabit these organizations, who advocate this nonsense yet should have no standing in a society that was founded on the rule of law, become prominent and have captured the debate forum.

BEDFORD, Pennsylvania — Two weeks ago, Jack Dunkle was sitting with his best friend Bob Barnes at his auto parts store along U.S. 30. Barnes was telling a story to his friend of over 40 years. Dunkle looked pale, but he waved Barnes off when asked if he needed anything.
“A little bit later, as Jack started to leave, he turned and paused for a moment at the threshold of the shop door, looked over his shoulder, and said to me, 'I do need something, but it is not anything anyone, including you, can give me, and that is time,’” recalled Barnes, 70, who chokes up over the memory.
It was the last time he saw Dunkle alive. The 76-year-old died last week. Those who didn’t read the obituary in the Bedford Gazette found out soon enough when they made the bend along the old Lincoln Highway and saw that the iconic Gulf service station — the last original decorative terracotta Gulf gas station in the country — was closed.
"NO GASOLINE" signs were hand-scrawled and taped on to the two ancient pumps where his wife Susan would come out with a broad smile and pump your gas, check your tires, and wipe your windshield down when you pulled into the station; taped up across the big bay window was another sign left by Barnes that read: “Jack, you were simply GREAT will miss you FOREVER, Bob Barnes.”
Jack Dunkle, like his father Dick before him, didn’t just own a gas station. He was the heart of the community. It is impossible to separate him from the beloved art deco structure built by the Gulf Oil Corporation in 1933 as the premiere service station between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh along the nation’s first coast-to-coast highway.

Trump had every opportunity to benefit from the New York episode of his prospective incarceration effort by the New York District Attorney but , In my humble opinion, he threw away the opportunity of returning some of the centrists to his fold.
