Putin Assassination Attempt Reported

(JustPatriots.com)- James Mattis, a former US Defense Secretary, claimed that Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine was “pathetic” and “immoral” and that Russia is “withering” before our own eyes.

According to CNN, the murder attempts made against three pro-Russian leaders over the past two weeks point to a nascent resistance movement in southern Ukraine.

Allegedly, all three instances happened near the town of Kherson, which is strategically significant to Russia owing to its proximity to the Crimean Peninsula and the Black Sea coast.

Eugeniy Sobolev, the pro-Russian chief of Kherson’s jail department, was the target of the first attempt on June 16 when an explosion damaged his vehicle, but he survived.

Meanwhile, a vehicle explosion on June 24 claimed the life of Dmitry Savluchenko, the pro-Russian official head of the Department of Youth and Sports for the Kherson area.

A different pro-Russian official’s automobile was attacked this week, but the target lived.

Just days after the conflict in Ukraine started, Kyrylo Budanov, the head of Ukraine’s defense intelligence, stated that the Russian President had also escaped an aborted assassination attempt.

Budanov declared that an assassination attempt was made against Putin. It is also said that Caucasian officials recently attacked him.

On Friday, July 1, at the Seoul Forum, Mr. Mattis referred to the Russian despot’s campaign in Ukraine as “operationally foolish.”

He said that we have a phrase in America that states that countries with allies prosper while those without allies wither. We are currently witnessing Russia fade before our very eyes

Mattis said that the tragedy of our day is that Putin is a Dostoevsky-esque character.

“Every night, he goes to bed furious, scared, and certain that Russia is surrounded by nightmares. This has served as his compass during the day.”

His remarks follow Russia’s declaration that it would be abandoning Ukraine’s Snake Island, dealing Putin a devastating blow.

The Kremlin described the Russian withdrawal from the Island as a “goodwill gesture.”

The Russian armed forces finished their responsibilities on Snake Island and removed a garrison stationed there on June 30, according to a statement from the defense ministry.

And:

Joe Biden’s Presidency Is Sinking
Responsibility for the public failure of this government lies with the Democratic Party.

By Daniel Henninger

It’s time to board a sinking ship— Joe Biden’s presidency.

The New York Times reported that its poll with Siena College finds 64% of Democrats, not even waiting for the midterm election results, want their candidate in 2024 to be someone other than the president. That famous Democratic youth vote? Under 30, they’re down on Joe at a 94% rate.

Below this thin ice is the measured sentiment that more than 7 in 10 Americans say the U.S. is headed in the wrong direction.

With the probably pointless caveat that things can change in politics, this means Mr. Biden is effectively a lame-duck president. If he runs, there will be a primary challenge, as there was in 1980 for Jimmy Carter.

Two Democratic governors, California’s Gavin Newsom and Illinois’ J.B. Pritzker, are already circling. RootsAction, a group aligned with Bernie Sanders, is planning a #DontRunJoe campaign. When Mr. Biden visited Cleveland last week to tout his economic accomplishments, the party’s candidate for U.S. Senate, Rep. Tim Ryan, and its candidate for governor, Nan Whaley, said scheduling conflicts prevented them from joining him.

What’s left? The blame game, of course. Despite a bad reputation, the blame game is a useful therapeutic for parties that are loath even to admit there’s a problem. Britain’s Conservatives just worked the blame game through to Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s resignation.

Mr. Biden’s personal fall will help Republicans in the midterm elections, but a U.S. presidency with the public’s confidence so fully withdrawn this early in a four-year term is very bad for the country. Hard as it is to believe, politics still has a higher purpose.

For this mess, I blame the Democrats, not—as many of them have put it—Mr. Biden’s alleged unwillingness to “fight.”

To be blunt: The reason most Americans don’t want Mr. Biden to run is that it’s clear by now that he has cognitive problems unacceptable in a person responsible for conducting the presidential office.

Since Inauguration Day, every public statement he has made to the American people, large or small, has been written by someone else for him to read by rote from a teleprompter. His off-the-cuff followups are painful.

Mr. Biden’s condition didn’t begin on Inauguration Day. Those around him knew there was a problem, but the needs of the party prevailed. Concerned that a progressive such as Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren couldn’t win the general election, the Democrats fashioned a faux moderate candidacy out of Mr. Biden.

The ploy worked. A slim majority of the country preferred Mr. Biden over Donald Trump.

As they say in politics, you do what you gotta do. That said, a responsible party leadership would have hedged this clear national risk by nominating a strong vice-presidential candidate able to step in if necessary, say, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar.

But by the summer of 2020, the Democrats were in the grip of compulsive wokeness and decided the running mate had to be a black woman. The one with national prominence at that moment was Sen. Kamala Harris. But Democratic voters themselves had already concluded in the presidential primaries she wasn’t ready for high office.

As to invoking the 25th Amendment on presidential incapacitation, the last thing the U.S. needs—with Russia, China and Iran also circling with the vultures—is a destructive succession crisis.

Even at this low ebb, a more respectable political performance by this government should have been possible. Whose fault is that, Mr. Biden’s or his party’s?

Following the pullout from Afghanistan, which Mr. Biden owns, the administration abandoned its election mandate for healing moderation and went left.

Bowing to demands from the Sanders-Warren progressives, the administration put in motion a New-Deal-like spending plan that included four major new entitlement programs: federalized prekindergarten and child care, an expanded child tax credit, paid family and medical leave, and two free years of community college.

With the Senate divided 50-50, Democrats Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona resolutely opposed the legislation. Mr. Manchin warned his party repeatedly that the new spending would produce inflation and that expunging fossil fuels would be a mistake.

The whole of the Democratic Party, led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, chose to blow by all these red flags. Inflation is today 9.1%, not least because of the party consensus—actually a mania—to abolish fossil-fuel production.

Unembarrassed gall may be the mother’s milk of politics, but it’s more than too much to see the Democrats who gave the country Joe Biden and designed the policies that collapsed beneath him knifing their own creation. Et tu, Bernie?

Yes, blind ambition brought Mr. Biden into the presidency. But his inadequacies have little do with the new story line that he’s failing because he won’t “fight.” Which means he won’t bellow into a bullhorn on a street corner like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. To his credit, Mr. Biden retains some vestige of respect for the dignity of his office. The party that is abandoning him should look in the mirror

Save us from the elite

Tom Sowell is a national treasure and wrote a second edition of "Intellectuals and Society.:  His successor book is entitled: " Economic Facts and Fallacies"
which discusses intellectuals who Sowell argues believe they can drink their own bathwater, so to speak:

Go to Hoover Daily Report and then click on the interview of  Shelby Steele and then Thomas Sowell.

I his book "The Content of Character," Steele writes black suffer from underdevelopment but are free and therefore, must learn to handle their freedom. After being physically enslaved blacks were emotionally unprepared for freedom. By focusing on racism it allows blacks the mental comfort of dodging the risk that comes with being free. Blacks continue to be emotionally crippled by the anxiety of freedom.

Meanwhile liberals need angry blacks because that gives them their power. When Steele tells liberals he is free he no longer serves the needs of liberals.

Whites also need to free themselves from their own white guilt.

Biden’s Hiring Policy: No Business Experience Needed
Senior Administration officials have spent little time in the private economy.
By The Editorial Board

A troubling trend in the Democratic Party in recent years is its increasing detachment from the private economy. That’s shown itself in the Biden Administration’s economic management, and one reason may be that few of its officials have experience in private business.

That’s the headline of a report to be released Wednesday by the Committee to Unleash Prosperity, compiled by Stephen Moore and Jon Decker. The pair studied the résumés of 68 top executive-branch officials whose work shapes the economy—from President Biden and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen to White House special assistants on economic policy.

“Average business experience of Biden appointees is only 2.4 years,” the authors found. Any fresh-faced 25-year-old on Wall Street has clocked more private business hours than most of Washington’s top officials. Sixty-two percent have “virtually no business experience.” By contrast, the average Donald Trump cabinet official had 13 years of experience in the private economy, the authors say.

Some familiarity with business is especially important given that President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have spent their lives in law or politics. But the authors found that Biden economic officialdom is dominated by careers in law (20), politics and government (21), and academia or policy-making (12). The main business experience is in venture capital or investing (five).

There are prominent exceptions. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo was a successful venture capitalist before entering government, and Interior Secretary Deb Haaland ran operations at a New Mexico tribal casino.

Yet it’s fair to wonder if the Biden policies and their results reflect a lack of even a basic understanding of how business works. One example is the Labor Department’s quest to classify millions of contractors as employees, despite evidence that many workers prefer independent status.

Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra has no experience in healthcare. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was a mayor and management consultant with little experience in supply chains or America’s vast transportation network. Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo has spent nearly all of his career in politics and government.

Innocence of profits, payrolls and competition seems to count as a virtue among today’s progressives. But that isn’t a virtue when modern government has so much power to regulate and punish private business. Presidents are free to appoint whoever they wish, but the results of business ignorance in this Administration are speaking for themselves.

Reasons not totrust DemocratWolves regarding J6 Hearings:

a) Pelosi's office off limits
b) no witnesses/evidence challenged by opposition
c) committee stacked
d) purpose not to discover facts but to prevent Trump from running again.

Question: If rabid Democrats want to protect our nation why are they unwilling to pursue evidence regarding Hunter's escapades and involvement with his father who happens to be president of the country and could be so compromised he cannot challenge Putin or China because he is under their thumb.

Perhaps, at least, one honest bureaucrat is doing what he was hired to do:

Fellow Conservative,

The Liberal Media was hoping he would never return… but John Durham is BACK and the walls are closing in thanks to his groundbreaking investigation.

Durham just requested 30 subpoenas against Igor Danchenko -- the primary source in the Russia Hoax!

The Liberal Media is trying to bury this critical Durham update because it’s a development that could lead to Democrats behind bars. The dam is breaking.

This investigation is too important to be swept under the rug. We need each and every conservative to go on the record now.

The Democrats want the case of Crooked Clinton spying on Trump to go cold -- John Durham can prevent that. It's mission-critical that we show our support in this key moment in history.

If you support everything Durham's investigation could reveal, sign on with your support before the Liberal media buries this story.

Thank you,
