Now for some fake news of my own. This is based on observations, what I have read and been told by those whom I trust.

I find the hypocrisy of Pelosi hoping Trump has a successful presidency is sickening, and contemptibly disingenuous when she and her ilk have done everything in their power to wreck his prospects and reject his victory.. What hypocrisy on the part of Senator's Schumer and Sanders and Representative's Scheer and Waters et. al to express their shock over what is happening.  Their viciousness has provided both the logs and matches.,

Have you noticed that in all the TV clips of "liberal students" rioting and vandalizing property to shut down a conservative speaker, the student rioters are wearing black uniforms with black hoods and face masks? Never in the past have students worn such military type uniforms for campus protests. One has to assume and believe someone is financing and organizing these well coordinated activities and. I suspect, George Soros money is involved. The man has a history of creating and benefiting from chaos.  So how much blame does Hodgkinson bear for his antisocial sociopathic behaviour? Thankfully,  the recent shooter was a bad marksman and failed to reach his goal of taking out 22 Republicans. 

Why do I think Soros is responsible/involved?  Because he is known to be financing resistance movements that have caused our government  to spend millions, for example, for security for Betsy DeVos. Fascists don't want to win an argument with her, they want her dead like the Republican Party. Soros, like ISIS, inspires lone wolf attacks. Someone is funding the nationwide uniformity of protests. These outbursts are too uniform to be spontaneous. They are uniformly and increasingly violent. Soros has a history of funding multiple organizations that do exactly this type of community organizing. 

Like mass media pundits I have no evidence just hunches to back up these opinions so they must be true! (See 3 and 3a below.)

Back in 2005, Jordanian journalist Fouad Hussein published al-Qaida’s manifesto. In his book, he outlined al-Qaida’s seven-point plan over a 20-year period: “An Islamic Caliphate in Seven Easy Steps.” Ten years later, we can see how al-Qaida and other Islamic jihad groups have followed this plan to the letter – with remarkable success, thanks to the weakness, fecklessness and willful ignorance of Western leaders.

Journalist Yassin Musharbash wrote about Hussein and his book in the German publication Der Spiegel on Aug. 12, 2005, in an article entitled, “The Future of Terrorism: What al-Qaida Really Wants.” Musharbash wrote, “[W]hat this small, slim man has to report is nothing less than the world’s most dangerous terrorist network’s plan of action: al-Qaida’s strategy for the next two decades. It is both frightening and absurd, a lunatic plan conceived by fanatics who live in their own world.”

Der Spiegel appears to be laughing at the plan in this article. But read it now – 10 years on. Who’s laughing now? From Sept. 11 to “the awakening,” the focus on Syria, the overthrow of secular Arab regimes, the declaration of the Caliphate – it’s all there. The article declares it “unworkable” at the time – as well as “both frightening and absurd, a lunatic plan.”

Musharbash wrote: “And not to mention the terrorist agenda is simply unworkable: The idea that al-Qaida could set up a caliphate in the entire Islamic world is absurd. The 20-year plan is based mainly on religious ideas. It hardly has anything to do with reality.”

Has anyone contacted Yassin Musharbash, read that passage to him, and asked him what he thinks of the Islamic State’s declaration of the caliphate, and of the tens of thousands of Muslims from all over the world who take that declaration seriously enough to travel to Iraq and Syria to live and wage jihad in the caliphate?

It’s the delusionists who can’t reconcile reality. Virtually everything has happened as opponents of jihad have predicted for years. My decade-long warnings at my website, Atlas Shrugs (PamelaGeller.com), and in my books and articles were met with scorn, derision and defamation. But I was right. The Islamic jihadists have achieved what they set out to do. The Islamic State is an al-Qaida spinoff.

Hussein’s book was not the work of a fantasist. Musharbash noted that “he has not only spent time in prison with al-Zarqawi, but has also managed make contact with many of the network’s leaders. Based on correspondence with these sources, he has now brought out a book detailing the organization’s master plan.”

Hussein himself explained: “I interviewed a whole range of al-Qaida members with different ideologies to get an idea of how the war between the terrorists and Washington would develop in the future.” The first of the seven steps to the caliphate was “the awakening” – Musharbash explained that “this has already been carried out and was supposed to have lasted from 2000 to 2003, or more precisely from the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 in New York and Washington to the fall of Baghdad in 2003. The aim of the attacks of 9/11 was to provoke the U.S. into declaring war on the Islamic world and thereby ‘awakening’ Muslims. ‘The first phase was judged by the strategists and masterminds behind al-Qaida as very successful,’ writes Hussein.”

Sept. 11 was to wake up the world to Islam. Did it not do just that? Didn’t the Ground Zero Mosque imam Faisal Abdul Rauf say as much in 2010 when the vicious fight over that mosque was underway? “9/11,” he declared, “was a watershed, was a major milestone, and a major catalytic force in, in catalyzing the attention toward the issue of Islam, its presence in the West, and it brought into much greater prominence our work and the importance of our work.”

After that was to come “Opening Eyes,” a phase that was to last until 2006, during which “al-Qaida wants an organization to develop into a movement.” This was to be followed by “Arising and Standing Up” from 2007 to 2010, during which, according to Hussein, “There will be a focus on Syria.”

During the fourth phase, from 2010 to 2013, “Hussein writes that al-Qaida will aim to bring about the collapse of the hated Arabic governments.” Right on schedule, Mubarak was toppled in Egypt, Gadhafi in Libya and Ben Ali in Tunisia, with Assad facing an ongoing civil war in Syria. Then during the fifth phase, an “Islamic state, or caliphate,” would actually be declared. Musharbash wrote: “The plan is that by this time, between 2013 and 2016, Western influence in the Islamic world will be so reduced and Israel weakened so much, that resistance will not be feared.”

Here we are. All this has unfolded just as they said: the awakening of the ummah is illustrated by the Western Muslims flocking to wage jihad in the Middle East. And the focus on Syria is also exactly as predicted. It’s amazing.

So what is to follow? Musharbash wrote: “Hussein believes that from 2016 onward there will be a period of ‘total confrontation.’As soon as the caliphate has been declared the ‘Islamic army’ it will instigate the ‘fight between the believers and the non-believers’ which has so often been predicted by Osama bin Laden.”

After that, the “final stage is described as ‘definitive victory.’ Hussein writes that in the terrorists’ eyes, because the rest of the world will be so beaten down by the ‘one-and-a-half billion Muslims,’ the caliphate will undoubtedly succeed. This phase should be completed by 2020, although the war shouldn’t last longer than two years.”

Read Musharbash’s entire piece. It’s chilling. It also coincides with the Muslim Brotherhood’s stated goal, according to a captured internal document written in the early 1990s, of “eliminating and destroying the Western Civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and Allah’s religion is made victorious over other religions.” According to a U.S. government memorandum, “shortly after Hamas was founded in 1987, as an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood … the International Muslim Brotherhood ordered the Muslim Brotherhood chapters throughout the world to create Palestine Committees, whose job it was to support Hamas with ‘media, money and men.’” To accomplish this, the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S. created the U.S. Palestine Committee, which the foremost Muslim group in the U.S., the Hamas-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, later joined. Since then, CAIR has worked to undermine every counter-terror measure that has ever been proposed or implemented.

Al-Qaida and the Brotherhood sketched out a plan that was neither absurd nor crazy, and the jihadists have followed it precisely. They have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams, with their influence now reaching into the White House. All this vividly illustrates that those of us who have been sounding the alarm about Islamic jihad all these years have been absolutely right. Ignore us at your own peril.

2) NBC Execs Call Emergency Meeting as Advertisers Dump Megyn Kelly

As backlash continues over the Megyn Kelly‘s Alex Jones interview controversy, NBC has been holding crisis meetings on how to handle the overflow of bad press, RadarOnline.com has learned.

“It’s a s**t show. No one wants to withstand a whole week of criticism over this. There are a number of people who want to pull the interview,” confessed an NBC insider to Page Six.

As readers know, families of Sandy Hook victims have been candid about their discontent with the situation, taking to twitter to voice their negative thoughts on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and blaming Kelly for her role in legitimizing the extremist’s philosophies. While NBC has been desperately trying to find a solution to the chaos, an insider admitted that the network needs the controversy to shake up their Sunday lineup and bring in new viewers.

“No one expected sponsors to pull out, but this is why they hired Megyn. They expect to lose and gain viewers and they want the buzz,” claimed the source.

The Violence is Only Getting Started

Floyd Lee Corkins walked into the offices of the Family Research Council after seeing it listed as an anti-gay hate group on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s website. The Family Research Council is a pro-Christian, pro-family organization, which makes it a hate site to the left. Corkins intended to kill the employees and stuff their mouths with Chick-Fil-A sandwiches, another organization he considered bigoted. Thanks to a security guard, he never made it through the door.

James Hodgkinson, also a fan of the Southern Poverty Law Center, stewed in left wing rhetoric. Hearing left wing pundits and Democrat leaders claim Republicans really want people to die, really want to destroy the planet, and really helped the Russians take over our republic, he decided to act. Ii is a small blessing, he was a terrible shot. But he tried.

Neither the Southern Poverty Law Center or any other organization or individual is to blame for the actions of these nuts. But rhetoric is designed to incite and mobilize. The Southern Poverty Law Center labels Christian groups hate groups to stir up their donors and seem useful. Pundits on MSNBC and Democrat congressional leaders say the GOP wants to kill everyone and destroy the planet to keep their left wing base riled up. None of them do it to inspire insane people to do insane things.

Eric Trump saying of Democrats, “they’re not even people,” is no more a call to condone violence than Barack Obama telling his supporters to take guns to knife fights. We have nasty political rhetoric in this country and we have had it consistently for more than 240 years. There is something different now though and this is a turning point.

Several times since the election I have noted that Democrat rhetoric, if they really believed it, would lead to violence. One cannot continually say Republicans repealing Obamacare will kill people without taking action to stop them or inspiring others to stop them. While rhetoric does not necessarily lead to violence and has rarely led to violence in this country, something now is fundamentally different from the past.

Now, we are a more tribal country. Large segments of the left and growing segments of the right no longer have church communities calling them to their better angels. People are now less likely to know their neighbors than in the past. And instead of interacting in their real communities, they have turned inward and built digital communities of fellow travelers.

It is now possible for a person to go an entire day and never knowingly encounter someone who thinks at all differently. We can self-select websites to read, television channels to watch, and radio stations and podcasts to listen to. We never have to be troubled with the other. As we encounter the other less and less, we see them as alien. As we see them as alien it becomes easier to see them as less than ourselves. It becomes not only easier to then view them as the enemy, but also easier to cheer on violence against the other.

After James Hodgkinson fired shots as Republican congressmen, a number of people with blue check marks on social media (a status denoting someone of note) began justifying Hodgkinson’s attack. One noted the GOP had it coming. Another said it could have been self defense if Hodgkinson was losing his healthcare. Still others were upset Hodgkinson had not actually killed any Republicans.

When you create your own world instead of living in the world God created for you, you can make it in your own image. Soon you can believe the worst about others when those you have allowed into your world agree. The only way to back away from this instead of falling over the precipice is for Democrats, Republicans, and the media to acknowledge that the other side really does not want you dead. But there is too much invested in believing otherwise

3a) Can a Divided America Survive? History has not been very kind to countries that enter a state of multicultural chaos. By Victor Davis Hanson

The United States is currently the world’s oldest democracy.

But America is no more immune from collapse than were some of history’s most stable and impressive consensual governments. Fifth-century Athens, Republican Rome, Renaissance Florence and Venice, and many of the elected governments of early 20th-century Western European states eventually destroyed themselves, went bankrupt, or were overrun by invaders.

The United States is dividing as rarely before. Half the country, mostly liberal America, is concentrated in 146 of the nation’s more than 3,000 counties — in an area that collectively represents less than 10 percent of the U.S. land mass. The other half, the conservative Red states of the interior of America, is geographically, culturally, economically, politically, and socially at odds with Blue-state America, which resides mostly on the two coasts.

The two Americas watch different news. They read very different books, listen to different music, and watch different television shows. Increasingly, they now live lives according to two widely different traditions.

Barack Obama was elected president after compiling the most left-wing voting record in the U.S. Senate. His antidote, Donald Trump, was elected largely on the premise that traditional Republicans were hardly conservative.

Red America and Blue America are spiraling into divisions approaching those of 1860, or of the nihilistic hippie/straight divide of 1968.

Currently, some 27 percent of all Californians were not born in the United States. More than 40 million foreign-born immigrants currently live in the U.S. — the highest number in the nation’s history.

Yet widely unchecked immigration comes at a time when the country has lost confidence in its prior successful adherence to melting-pot assimilation and integration. The ultimate result is a fragmenting of society into tribal cliques that vie for power, careers, and influence on the basis of ethnic solidarity rather than shared Americanness.

History is not very kind to multicultural chaos — as opposed to a multiracial society united by a single national culture. The fates of Rwanda, Iraq, and the former Yugoslavia should remind us of our present disastrous trajectory.

Either the United States will return to a shared single language and allegiance to a common and singular culture, or it will eventually descend into clannish violence.

Does the unique American idea of federalism still work, with state rights and laws subordinate to federal law? We fought a Civil War that cost more than 600,000 lives in part to uphold the idea that individual states could not override the federal government.

Yet sanctuary cities declare that they can freely nullify federal immigration law. The California Senate passed a bill earlier this month that would prohibit the state from contracting with any firms that work on the federal government’s wall at the border with Mexico.

States such as California vow that they will ignore Washington and work directly with foreign nations to promote their own policies on global warming. Read carefully what some prominent Californians are saying about the federal government: It is not much different from what influential Confederate South Carolinians boasted about in 1860 on the eve of secession.

The national debt has almost doubled over the last eight years and at nearly $20 trillion is unsustainable.

Entitlement spending rose even as new taxes increased. The have-nots claim the haves make far too much money; the haves retort that they pay most of the income taxes while nearly half the country pays nothing.

Most Americans agree that the present levels of borrowing and spending cannot continue. But many believe that the tough medicine to cure the disease of chronic annual deficits and mounting debt is unacceptable.

America’s infrastructure and military are vastly underfunded, even though some voters want more subsidies for themselves and apparently want others to pay for them.

America’s once-preeminent colleges and universities are fatally compromised. Universities charge far too much, resist reform, expect exemption from accountability, and assume their students must take on huge amounts of debt. Yet campuses can’t guarantee that their graduates are competently educated or that they will find jobs.

Illiberal attempts to end free speech, to sanction racial and gender segregation, and to attack rather than argue with opponents are disguised by euphemisms such as “safe spaces,” “trigger warnings,” and various -isms and -ologies.

Behind the guise of campus activism and non-negotiable demands is the reality that too many students simply are unprepared to do their assigned work and seek exemption through protests in lieu of hard studying.

America barely survived the Civil War of 1861–65, the Great Depression of 1929–39, and the rioting and protests of the 1960s. But today’s growing divides are additionally supercharged by instant Internet and social-media communications, 24/7 cable news, partisan media, and the denigration of America’s past traditions.

All Americans need to take a deep breath, step back, and rein in their anger — and find more ways to connect rather than divide themselves.

They should assume their opponents are not all sinners, and that their supporters are not all saints.

Things are bad now. But our own history suggests that if we are not careful, they can get even worse.

PRESIDENT TRUMP ANNOUNCES SALE OF CALIFORNIA TO MEXICO   

WASHINGTON (AP) –16 Mar 2017

President Trump disclosed that he has reached an agreement with Enrique Pena Nieto, President of Mexico, which provides for the sale of substantially all of the State of California to the country of Mexico.

President Trump noted that this deal, which he claims “is his largest real estate deal ever” is a win-win for everyone involved.  One of the benefits he says he will highlight during a prime time address from the oval office later this evening, will include using the proceeds received by the US from Mexico to 1) pay for the Wall (fulfilling yet another campaign promise), a wall which will now include the length of the eastern boarder of California, 2) fund all the infrastructure spending in the remaining 49 states and 3) pay to relocate the 67 Republicans that currently reside in California.

He also noted that Federal money saved from the reduction of California citizens on US social programs will allow those social programs to be cash positive in less than 3 years.

Mexican President Nieto announced that he has already introduced a bill to the Mexican Congress asking to change his country’s name to MexiCal.

Other benefits President Trump intends to discuss during this evening’s prime time address include:

California will now be able to act as a sanctuary state within MexiCal noting that there is much more room for the refugees who will find the climate in the State of California more desirable than the climate in US cities such as NYC, Detroit or Chicago.

The elimination of the existing border between Mexico and California will allow drugs to flow more freely between Mexico and the users in Hollywood.  Drug tunnel diggers at the Tijuana boarder will now be able to use their skills to dig tunnels under Los Angeles to help ease congestion in that city and allow rioters to move about the city’s universities more freely.

The U.S. taxpayer will no longer be on the hook for any future disaster relief required once the next mega quake hits California.The space in the Capitol and other DC buildings vacated by representatives of California will be fumigated and turned into “time-out rooms” for the press as well as Liberty Centers where US citizens can meet with their congressmen to discuss the pursuit of economic freedom.

Nancy Pelosi released a statement stating that she looks forward to making the Mexican President’s life miserable and prefers the year round weather in Mexico City to that of DC.  Her office has already announced a schedule of fund raising activities for what is believed to be an upcoming campaign to run for President of MexiCal. Papers released along with Trump’s statement reveal that a newly incorporated real estate company, pmurT, Inc., which was intimately involved in the deal discussions, will receive a broker fee of $25 billion on the California sale.  An anonymous pmurT, Inc. representative has revealed that the profits on the deal are HUGE and will be used to purchase, develop and convert all abandoned US Federal facilities in California into special high end retreats and resorts which will assist California residents with managing their euphoria and transition into the nanny state they have so long desired to be.The exact northern border of the new MexiCal is still under negotiation.

Apparently the White House is concerned that certain members of congress may be unwilling to give up California’s wine country and are suggesting that the northern border align with the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge.California residents will be issued special blue cards to cross the border into the US so that the total number of California liberals entering the US can be tracked and at any point in time not exceed predetermined levels.   Residents that remain in California after the effective date of the sale will not be allowed to seek refugee status in the US in the future.

Mexican President Nieto stated he is thrilled with the deal and is looking forward to declaring Spanish the national language for his newly acquired territory and opening SSL (Spanish as a second language) schools throughout California.  He also noted that funding for the transaction would come from the Mexican drug cartels, which have agreed to provide low interest loans to Mexico so long as they are allowed to move their cash out of Switzerland and the Cayman Islands back into Mexico tax free. He also said he considers the fact that a Disney park will now be located within his country an added bonus.

White House representatives refused to confirm rumors that a similar deal was in the works for the sale of Northeastern states from NY through Maine, to Canada.

President Trump wrapped up his statement stating, “this deal is HUGE and will help Make America, albeit a little smaller, Great Again”.

5) British Jews: A wake up call

British Jews and many other British nationals were shocked and dismayed with the outcome of last week’s general elections in the U.K.

Contrary to expectations, Conservative Prime Minister Theresa May emerged with a staggering defeat and Jeremy Corbyn’s Labor, which dramatically increased its number of seats in parliament by almost 10%, was almost neck to neck with the Conservative party. If she is not forced to stand down, May will seek to maintain her minority government by aligning with the Democratic Unionist Party of Northern Ireland.

It is a horrifying prospect that a man who publicly praises Hamas and Hezbollah as his “friends”, who attended a ceremony in Tunis commemorating the murderer of Israeli Olympic athletes, was employed by the state-controlled Iranian TV to present programs, and tolerated the proliferation of overt anti-Semitism in his party, was so close to being elected prime minister.

The recent spate of brutal terrorist attacks in London and Manchester must have stunned those British Jews who have been insisting that Islamic terrorism would never impact on the UK to the same extent as the rest of Europe.

The recent waves of anti-Semitism emanating from a combination of Left wing, liberal, Moslem and traditional anti-Semites, and the indifference of a substantial proportion of the electorate who voted for an overtly anti-Semitic leader, must surely switch on a clear red light for British Jews.

Since the return of Jews to Britain in 1656 in the Oliver Cromwell era, many claim that British Jews have fared better than in any other European country. Yet, the late Robert Wistrich, the greatest scholar of anti-Semitism, who was himself brought up in England, considered it to be the most anti-Jewish country in Europe.

On the other hand, despite frequent anti-Semitic themes in British culture as in Chaucer and Shakespeare and the aloofness and hostility of the Anglican Church, Jews benefited from the emancipation and prime minister Disraeli epitomized how a person who took pride in his Jewish ancestry could still succeed. England also represented a haven for many Jews seeking to escape from the oppression and pogroms they endured in Russia.

In the 1930s with the rise of Nazism, hatred of Jews intensified. But they received strong support from the Left and liberals who defended them against Mosley’s fascism and the Jewish community resisted anti-Semitism at all levels. Like most countries in the 1930s, the British government only provided a limited number of entry permits to Jews seeking to escape from the Holocaust. To the credit of the British government, the Kindertransport of young children sent to England by parents unable to emigrate and their adoption by Jewish and non-Jewish families saved 10,000 children, most of whom would otherwise have perished during the Holocaust with their parents.

Yet, there was considerable resentment of even the limited number of immigrant refugees. Politically, the Conservatives were the most hostile whereas Labor was perceived to be more tolerant and, setting aside the Jewish penchant for social justice, this is what led to the clear majority of Jews becoming supporters of the party.

This was further demonstrated when, in their attempt to appease the Arabs, the Conservative government imposed the White Paper restricting Jews seeking to escape the Nazis from emigrating to Palestine.

When Margaret Thatcher was elected, some Jews began voting for the Conservative party but her Labor successor Tony Blair, a true friend of Israel and the Jewish people won back much of the support that Thatcher had gained. Jews were more evenly divided in 2010 when David Cameron was elected Prime Minister.

When Jeremy Corbyn was elected leader of the Labour party after the defeat of Ed Miliband, the community was horrified because, apart from his torrid past associations with terrorists and his hatred of Israel, under his leadership anti-Semites felt free to openly embark in anti-Semitic tirades. Corbyn’s supporters were not fussed that he had led rallies with vicious anti-Semites, including Holocaust deniers and terrorists, as well as calling for a boycott against the Jewish state. At an anti-Israeli demonstration addressed by Corbyn, some of the participants were dressed as suicide bombers and others chanted “gas, gas, Tel Aviv”. Alas, many Labor voters were supportive of Corbyn’s love of Hamas, Hezbollah and the IRA.

To his credit, the president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, Jonathan Arkush courageously confronted Corbyn and the anti-Semites -  in contrast to many of his trembling Israelite predecessors. He described the election outcome as a “loss for the community and Israel”. He also brought upon himself the wrath of fellow Jews desperate not to rock the boat, by challenging Britain’s Moslem community’s low profile after the London attack, to “stand up and be counted”. Although having devoted much effort towards strengthening relations between Jews and Muslims, by speaking the truth, Arkush was accused of “fanning the flames of inter community hatred”.

Theresa May made a catastrophic mistake by prematurely holding an election. She alienated many elderly voters by reducing social welfare benefits and her election campaign was appalling. Presumably, a sizeable number simply voted against the establishment or their opposition to Brexit.

But despite this, to vote for a primitive Trotskyite whose friends include terrorists like Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists is simply mind boggling.

Even more staggering is that during his election campaign Corbyn promoted appeasement to the Islamist terrorists, alleging that the bombing and terror outbreaks in the UK was a result of aggressive British foreign policy inciting Muslims. At all times, he has opposed beefing up security, insisting that this would undermine human rights. 

That Jews, representing only 0.5% of the population (whose votes in four key constituencies probably saved May from outright defeat), voted against Corbyn is indicative of the indifference to much of the electorate to anti-Semitism.

British Jews have long argued that the anti-Semitic prejudice they faced was benign and that England was different to Europe. But, had Corbyn been elected, it would have been far worse for the Jewish community than had Marie Le Pen become head of state in France.

The time has come to speak plainly and face reality.

As far as British Jews are concerned these elections, which almost brought to power an outright anti-Semite and friend of terrorists, means that the red line has now been crossed.

Jews in the UK are considered pariahs by a substantial proportion of the nation. The anti-Israeli rhetoric has reached unprecedented levels both in street demonstrations and at the universities where many Jewish students seek to disguise their Jewish identity and in some cases, even display hostility to Israel in order to curry favor.

Schools, synagogues and other Jewish communal venues require armed guards and this will need to be intensified in the future.

All committed Jews should ask themselves whether, in this climate of intensifying hostility, they should consider coming to Israel or at least encourage their children to do so in order that they can live in an environment in which they are able take pride in their Jewish heritage. The majority are likely to remain but some of the most committed will hopefully consider making Aliyah.

This must be a wakeup call. In contrast to the 1930s when Jews were desperate and, in most cases, futilely seeking visas to escape the Holocaust, today Jews are privileged to live in an age when a Jewish state is willing to embrace and provide them with security. It is a state which is powerful - militarily, economically and politically - and has the support of the U.S. Government. Living in Israel will enable them to enjoy the fruits of the Jewish national renaissance and create a home in which their children can grow up proud of their heritage and leave behind the humiliation of anti-Semitism.

6)THE HYPNOTIST AT THE SENIOR HOME:

It was entertainment night at the senior citizens' center. After the community sing along led

by Francois at the piano, it was time for the star of the show - "Larry the Hypnotist".

Larry explained that he was going to put the whole audience into a trance. "Each and every

one of you and all at the same time." he said.

The excited chatter dropped to silence as Larry carefully withdrew from his waistcoat pocket

a beautiful antique gold pocket watch and chain.

"I want you to keep your eyes on this watch" he said, holding the watch high for all to see.

"It is a very special and valuable watch that has been in my family for six generations" said

Larry.

He began to swing the watch gently back and forth while quietly chanting, "Watch the watch

--- Watch the watch ----Watch the watch.

The audience became mesmerized as the watch swayed back and forth. The lights were

twinkling as they were reflected from its gleaming surfaces.

A hundred and fifty pairs of eyes followed the movement of the gently swaying watch. They

were hypnotized.

Then, suddenly, the chain broke!

The beautiful watch fell to the stage and burst apart on impact!

"SHIT!" said Larry.

It took them three days to clean the Senior Citizens' Center, and Larry was never invited again...
