Jewish population remains a drop in the bucket. Meanwhile hate for us continues to rise.
Is it because we are doing something wrong.? Perhaps. I maintain it is because we snookered/appropriated the idea of a sole "God" for ourselves. Is it because the world always needs a scapegoat? Perhaps. Certainly there is some truth to that as well. Is it because our religion is based on aspirations/values/ethics mankind will probably never achieve including ourselves? Perhaps.
Whatever the reason. we have been around a long time, act as a magnet for a lot of prejudice, profess to be somewhat the conscience for the world and if Obama and Biden have their way it is likely there could be a lot less of us as Iran becomes a nuclear power.

Number of Jews worldwide hits 15.2 million; 6.93 million of them are in Israel
On eve of Rosh Hashanah, figures show 45.3% of Jews live in Israel; 25.3 million eligible for Law of Return ( eligibility at least 1 Jewish grandparent)

There are now 15.2 million Jews worldwide, a 100,000 increase from the year before, according to the Jewish Agency.
In statistics published ahead of Rosh Hashanah, which begins Monday evening, the Jewish Agency said 8.2 million Jews live outside Israel, with the largest population in the United States, which has around 6 million Jews. In Israel, there are 6.93 million Jews, accounting for 45.3 percent of world Jewry, according to the research, which was compiled by Prof. Sergio Della Pergola of Jerusalem’s Hebrew University.
Following Israel and the US, the countries with the largest number of Jews are France (446,000), Canada (393,500), Britain (292,000), Argentina (175,000), Russia (150,000), Germany (118,000) and Australia (118,000).
The Jewish Agency said there 27,000 Jews living in Arab and Muslim states, with 14,500 in Turkey, 9,500 in Iran, 2,000 in Morocco and 1,000 in Tunisia.
The statistics are based on self-identification as Jewish and not as any other religion. The Jewish Agency said when looking at those eligible to get citizenship under Israel’s Law of Return, which requires at least one Jewish grandparent, there are 25.3 million Jews worldwide.

Gazans are an unhappy lot. They are continuously miserable. They need to expend some of that negative energy and try to smell the roses if possible. Until such time, I truly wish Israel would actually do what they are constantly accused of doing and beat the hell out of them but them I am an eye for an eye type and believe your enemy deserves to be treated to/served his desert.

I have heard news reports by Pentagon officials how carefully the government is screening Afghans who claim they assisted America and if the code red or yellow appears they will be checked further etc. I find when I am told I can depend upon government thoroughness I am a fool more likely to be fooled
I do not trust anything the government tells me or does. This has served me well overt he years and when lives are at stake I find no compelling reason to drop my guard or my pants.
Yes, I wish I felt otherwise but Reagan was right when he said trust but verify and I would add how can you trust when it is the government that is verifying?
The Taliban are more trustworthy because we know they will do what they do best - kill and behead.
