Where Are The Economist Billionaires? Lobbying Data. The Precious Voting Process. Embracing Creeps Beyond My Comprehension.

++++++++++++++++++++

Dear Richard,

I look each and every year.

When the Forbes 400 list of the richest people in the world is published…

I look through it to see how many made their fortunes being economists.

So far, no luck. But it’s no surprise that there aren’t any.

Because investing isn’t about being able to predict inflation, interest rates or gross domestic product.

It’s much simpler.

It all comes down to finding corporate events that — when set in motion — unlock shareholder value.

And in a recent interview, I’ll share one of these opportunities with you.

LobbyingData.com Announces the Launch of the First-Ever Publicly Available Real-Time View of American Lobbying

NEWS PROVIDED BY LobbyingData.com

Follow the Money in Politics with Daily Lobbying Data

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, September 14, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ -- LobbyingData.com (LobbyingData) today announces the official launch of Daily Lobbying Data, the first-ever 100% free real-time view into American Lobbying.

With LobbyingData, anyone can easily know which companies are lobbying, how much was spent, and-most importantly-the issues being lobbied for. LobbyingData is the only platform of its kind that provides insight into why companies choose to lobby. LobbyingData also allows users to filter the data by issues lobbied on, dollar amount spent, government agencies, and specific companies.

Everyday, thousands of companies lobby to persuade the government to rewrite laws in their favor, secure massive government loans, and fight for government contracts. Information on lobbying activity has been deliberately shrouded in convolution and secrecy making access to the information nearly impossible for the public, until now.

LobbyingData sources all of the thousands of lobbying exchanges everyday and distills the information into an easy to understand, tabular dashboard - providing transparency to the public into the notoriously opaque and powerful industry of lobbying. The dashboard is accessible on web and mobile.

"What would you do if you knew that GM was releasing an electric hummer two weeks before the public launch? What choices would you make if you found out that Kodak would be getting a massive government loan days before they received it?" asked LobbyingData founder and data scientist, Neil Bhatia. "These shreds of insight gold, guarded from the public, are now available for anyone with internet access. LobbyingData is ready to change the future of informed decision making."

A Lobbying Data Pro plan is also available for purchase that connects lobbying contracts to stock market tickers providing an innovative source of alternative data completely new to the market. It has already been used in many applications, from academic research to quantitative finance, trading, and equity research.

Founder, Neil Bhatia, has big plans for LobbyingData's future, including a historical database to uncover company actions in lobbying from 1999 to present day. LobbyingData continues to find new ways to provide accessibility and transparency into the lobbying industry.

When a person votes the balloting process does not allow you to vote according to what "individual" positions the candidate takes.  Your vote encompasses the entire enchilada.  In other words, if a candidate has six positions and you vote for that candidate that indicates you embrace all six. Thus, if the candidate favors sanctuary cities, open borders, drugs coming to our country, human trafficking, no bail for criminal behaviour and defunding police you might not intend for your vote to be in favor of all of those views but you have no choice. There is no way you can exclude. You can prioritize and/or itemize.

Politicians must take many votes some of which you might oppose to but when you vote for that candidate it is an all or nothing inclusive act of concurrence.

What I am getting at is when I vote, if I oppose one position I think very hard and long about whether that one vote eradicates my support. In the case of most of my liberal friends they tend to dismiss what they do not support and vote for the candidate because they are basically liberal, a Democrat or whatever.

I voted for Trump a second time because, as disgusted as I was with his personality and behaviour, his policies and results were outstanding. Trump haters were blinded to what I considered favorable and also because he was not a Democrat just as they ignore the activities of Biden's son but would never forgive had Trump's children behaved as such .

Consequently, voting is less than specifically indicative but it's the best we have and is truly a sacred right. Therefore, the least we should do is make sure all voters are who they say they are and we should avoid anything that elevates the possibility of fraud.  That is something we can and should both control and wish to accomplish.  For those who care not a fig,  I have nothing but contempt and truly question their ethics and  motive. Would these same shoppers buy meat from a grocery store that does not refrigerate?

That acceptable voting has become less important is a tragedy and a threat to our freedoms. Questionable voting results becomes another way of controlling our lives and freedoms. Voting is the umbilical chord that allows/validates our path to a free society.

All our institutions have been attacked, voting is the last remaining action/privilege that can insure our recovery of what we have lost and/or is left of our remaining freedoms.

When thousands of illegal immigrants invade states on the border the lefties remain silent but when several are bussed into their towns/cities,/resorts the hypocrites claim a crisis is occurring and a specific mayor even wanted to call out the military.

If local disgust regarding crime, feces in the street, blatant theft in daylight etc. goes national the Democrats' goose is cooked and if Republicans can't knit together a coherent message about what they would do  about crime, wasteful, inflationary spending, energy dependence and government out of control they don't deserve to win.

Democrats have nothing to say about the disaster Biden has created.  Their fall back is to obsess over 1/6 and Trump as if that is going to solve the mess they and Biden have created.  Democrat candidates avoid Biden like he tested positive of COVID. The man is toxic. If Democrat candidates run from their own president why would voters embrace him unless they are so besotted from drinking socialist hooch for decades their ability to think is gone/escapes them.

Why anyone who has been labeled a "deplorable," a fascist, a threat to America want to stay in bed with the likes of Hillary and Joe and their creepy candidates, who hate this nation, is beyond me.
