The Biden-Blinken Rules of War for Israel

The U.S. tells Israelis how they must fight in Gaza, which could help Hamas.

By The Editorial Board

War is back against Hamas, but will the Biden Administration let Israel win? Secretary of State Antony Blinken delivered the bad news to Jerusalem before the truce ended: He wants Israel on a short leash.

Hamas fired rockets at Israel Friday morning, in violation of the pause, and failed to produce the remaining female hostages to trade for more time and terrorists. It also claimed that its last child hostages, 10-month-old Kfir Bibas and his four-year-old brother, Ariel, are dead.

Mr. Blinken understands that Israel has more to do to defeat Hamas. “Hamas cannot remain in control of Gaza,” he reiterated at a press conference in Israel Thursday. Israel’s campaign has so far secured much of Gaza’s northern half, smashing several Hamas brigades and destroying its tunnels and hospital headquarters. The pressure this put on Hamas yielded a deal that freed 105 hostages. More pressure on Hamas now could spring some of the 137 hostages who remain in captivity.

Letting a pause turn into a more lasting cease-fire would repeat the mistake of past bouts with Hamas: leaving it in control of territory. Hamas still rules south Gaza, a base from which it would plot the next massacre, as its leaders have repeatedly pledged to do. That’s why Israel will take the fight south.

But how should this next phase of the war be waged? Here, Mr. Blinken is adamant: It must be nothing like the operation in north Gaza. The Secretary of State said he “underscored” to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “the imperative to the United States that the massive loss of civilian life and displacement of the scale we saw in northern Gaza not be repeated in the south.” He said Israel must take “more effective steps to protect the lives of civilians.”

The best way to save civilians is to get them far from urban combat zones, away from Hamas strongholds like the city of Khan Younis. But Mr. Blinken demands “avoiding further significant displacement of civilians inside of Gaza.” Instead, he called on Israel to create “safe zones” for civilians near the fighting.

But what should Israel do when Hamas positions itself in those zones? That’s how it used hospitals and schools in the north. Could Israel attack Hamas in those sanctuaries?

Mr. Blinken tried to close that door, too. Protecting civilians “means avoiding damage to life-critical infrastructure like hospitals,” he said. “Intent matters, but so does the result.”

If Israel must do more to protect civilians but can’t evacuate them and can’t hit Hamas when it hides in key civilian infrastructure and safe zones, how is it to fight at all? It could try a methodical, grinding campaign to force Hamas into the open. But Mr. Blinken demands Israel keep fuel flowing—precisely what Hamas needs to hunker down in its tunnels. That leaves relying on the infantry, at great cost in Israeli lives.

During a meeting of Israel’s war cabinet, Mr. Blinken may also have tried to nix a long campaign. When Israel’s Defense Minister told him, “The entire Israeli society is united behind the goal of dismantling Hamas, even if it takes months,” the Israeli press reports that Mr. Blinken pushed back, replying, “I don’t think you have the credit for that.” He means credit with President Biden, as the White House bends to the growing pressure against Israel from the Democratic left.

The argument that Hamas is an “idea,” and thus war can never defeat it, has also been gaining among U.S. progressives. As Mr. Biden tweeted Tuesday, “To continue down the path of terror, violence, killing, and war is to give Hamas what they seek.” By this logic, Hamas would hate nothing more than . . . to be left in power? How quickly they forget Oct. 7.

Israel has a right to defend itself, which it reasonably believes requires destroying Hamas. The terrorist group rejoiced again on Thursday when two of its terrorists opened fire, during the truce, at Jewish civilians at a Jerusalem bus stop. Intent does matter, and blame for civilian deaths in Israel and Gaza resides with the terrorists.

Israel deserves U.S. support as it topples Hamas, not a repeat of Mr. Biden’s Ukraine treatment: rules, restrictions and hesitations that push a decisive victory further away. Israelis may find that victory requires calling the President’s bluff. Turning on Israel in wartime would alienate the much larger pool of pro-Israel American voters.

And more reasons why not to win wars:

YGTBSM! WTF? This is not how to win wars even in the air! Disgraceful, Dangerous and Dumb! Triple D. !!!!

Inside the Woke Air Force

By Josh Culper

Nearly two decades ago, I left my hometown for Lackland Air Force Base.  Every enlisted airman since 1968 has completed Basic Military Training at this historic base in the Alamo City.  First, trainees work to graduate from being a “rainbow,” referring to the mixed colors of their civilian clothing, which involves getting a free haircut, getting new uniforms, and learning how to move in a formation.  Trainees are further unified by reminders from military training instructors that they are no longer “back on the block,” and from here on out, they “all bleed blue!”

Trainees from across America are honed into a team of airmen.  The military has always excelled at forming our diverse citizenry into a unified force — it embraced “E pluribus unum.”  However, the U.S. Air Force is currently indoctrinating airmen in neo-Marxist ideology and creating activists thorough its Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity (DIE) programs.

Some will push back and claim that DIE is simply about being inclusive of diverse viewpoints, and if this were the case, there would be little controversy.  Yet when senior leaders discuss diversity, as in DIE, the word has a neo-Marxist meaning.  Herbert Marcuse in his 1969 “Essay on Liberation“ stated the following: “the familiar (used and abused) vocabulary of freedom, justice, and equality could thus obtain not only new meaning but also new reality,” with a “methodical subversion of the linguistic of the Establishment.”  Today, diversity as part of DIE is in line with Marcuse’s subversive definition, which is used in Critical Theory and its offspring, intersectionality.

Critical Theory and intersectionality spawned out of Marxist scholarship and have grown into legal studies, history, education, social sciences, and military studies.  It undergirds identity politics, which has been institutionalized into the Air Force through Barrier Analysis Working Groups, or BAWGs.  The Air Force has established seven BAWGs:

BEST – Black Employment Strategy Team

DAT – Disability Action Team

HEAT – Hispanic Empowerment Action Team

INET – Indigenous Nations Equality Team

LIT – LGBTQ+ Initiative Team

PACT – Pacific Islander Asian-American Community Team

WIT – Women’s Initiatives Team

Through BAWGs, the Air Force has established political advocacy groups to advise the chain of command and make recommendations regarding equity and inclusion.  Examples are optional pronouns in an airman’s official signature block or that males who identify as female can now complete the women’s Physical Fitness Assessment (ref. attachment 5).  The force is also subjected to regular stand-downs and “bridge-chats.”

The 2021 extremism stand-down day is a good example of these sessions.  Not once did they mention Islamic extremism or how support for the Marxist movement Black Lives Matter is incompatible with military service.  Nor did the stand-down facilitators mention the airman in Utah who was caught in his military-issued gas mask throwing Molotov cocktails at a police car during a BLM riot.

During bridge-chats, airmen are organized into small groups to “lean in” and discuss “hard topics” such as race, sexuality, unconscious bias, microaggressions, and social-emotional learning.  These groups, however well-intentioned by some, are not talks meant to foster inclusion, but are “consciousness-raising” sessions.

In the last century, Marxists such as Marcuse sought to understand where Marx’s theory went wrong.  The urban proletariat were supposed to naturally overthrow their bourgeois oppressors, but the revolution did not naturally develop — it had to be enticed.  This led Marcuse and others to develop the idea of “false consciousness”: put simply, people raised in oppression are not aware they are oppressed.  Marginalized groups had to be shown they are oppressed through a process such as Paulo Freire’s conscientization, enabling them to develop a critical awareness and see through the false consciousness.

The result of conscientization is activism, which is seen from the highest levels of Air Force leadership.  For example, during the 2022 Air Force DEIA Conference, Secretary Kendall recommended reading Ibram X. Kendi’s How to Be an Antiracist and promoted Kendi’s idea that “it’s not enough to just not be racist, but you must be antiracist.”  Lt. Gen. Brad Webb, the former commander of Air Education and Training Command, stated that the “death of George Floyd” has “fundamentally changed the Air Force,” and Air Force leaders have been charged by the chief of staff of the Air Force to “engage.”

Activism has also been institutionalized into foundational documents, such as the Air Force’s Core Values.  The May 2022 edition of the “little blue book” now includes calls to activism.  In the section titled “CORE VALUES — THE WHY,” airmen are admonished to “accept accountability and practice justice,” and furthermore that “it is our obligation to understand and be advocates of the ethical demands these values require.”  In the section on “SERVICE BEFORE SELF,” airmen are instructed to “recognize and root out prejudices, biases, and stereotypes ... and honor the Air Force and others by following our words with actions.”

It is a longstanding tradition for the military to “remain politically neutral and divorced from partisan politics,” yet now Air Force leaders are stating that airmen have an obligation to practice justice and be advocates.  Over the last three years, we have seen the changes publicly.

In 2020, General Brown, in his former position as commander of Pacific Air Forces, released an official video where he states he is “full of emotion” and publicly shared his opinion about George Floyd’s death and alludes to “the many African-Americans that have shared the same fate.”

In 2023, Lt. Gen. DeAnna Burt disparaged laws legally passed by millions of citizens at the state level as “anti-LBGTQ+” and a “dangerous trend.”  She went on to share that she would make manning decisions, in part, if a family could be “denied critical healthcare due to the laws of that state,” referring to the restriction of surgeries and hormones to make minors look like members of the opposite sex in states such as Texas.

Also in 2023, Secretary Kendall undermined the will of American citizens and their state laws meant to protect children from abortion by implementing a policy to “ensure” that airmen and their families “can access reproductive health care regardless of where they are stationed.”

There has also been a regression with DIE.  For example, the “first” all-female flight over the 2023 Super Bowl is a step back, as the WASPs already fought for true inclusion to fly alongside their brothers.  Or consider the “first” all-black heritage flight compared to the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen.  Why are we celebrating the re-segregation of our formations?  Wouldn’t true diversity and inclusion be represented in a flight with a mixed-race/sex crew?  Isn’t this something we do every day in the Air Force, and have been doing for decades?

Yes, we have!  However, DIE isn’t about diversity; it’s about indoctrinating airmen into neo-Marxist ideology and creating activists.  The Air Force needs to disband DIE programs and get back to building true unity within the force.  It needs to focus on what airmen have in common — our oath, the Constitution, and love of country — not on what makes us different.  Let’s get back to “one team, one fight!”

The Colonialism Slander In The State Department And Beyond

by Peter Berkowitz via Real Clear Politics

Left-wing intellectuals have transformed the complex history of “colonialism” into an all-encompassing slander against the West. A practice dating back to the ancient world, colonialism involves a nation’s transferring a portion of its population into a foreign land and assuming responsibility for administering it.

Ex-Capitol Police Officer Releases Never-Before-Heard Police Audio of Jan. 6

Ex-Capitol Police Officer, as recently promised, has released the first tranche of twelve hours of J6 police scanner audio as Capitol Police discussed mobilizing to address the threat of extremists who have laid siege to the Congress during the 2020 election certification.

“Here we go… Episode 1,” Johnson posted on X on Sunday. “The mainstream media is telling you that J6 was an insurrection.”

“Please tell me if the actions of Assistant Chief Yogananda Pittman were heroic and proper,” he added. “To give so some context Pittman’s call sign is Unit 2 and she is sitting on a dias in the USCP Commander Center where she can hear the radio traffic and she has a 360 degree view of the outside of the Capitol.”

“She can also see the actives inside the Capitol where there is a camera,” he continued. “Chief Steven A Sund was on the phone trying to obtain approval for the National Guard’s assistance and assistance from other law enforcement agencies. I was on the ground trying to de-escalate the situation specially asking Pittman for help. My call sign was 405J-John.”

The J6 police scanner audio seems to indicate that Assistant Chief Pittman was noticeably unavailable or unwilling to assist Chief Steven Sund as he attempted to get National Guard to the Congress to protect the Electoral College as there were challenges being heard to the 2020 election.

The J6 police audio further corroborates the lack of decisive action taken by the Capitol Police to protect the Congress, which is literally the police body’s only job.

Tarik Johnson clarified that the police scanner audio indicates a lack of appropriate action from Unit 2, suggesting a plausible case of professional negligence on the part of Assistant Chief Yogananda Pittman.

Critically, former Capitol Police Chief Sund had warned the Congress at least three times in the run-up to the Capitol riots about the impending danger to the election certification.

Sund wrote an eight-page letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Congressional officials outlining the events leading up to the Jan. 6 riots, as well as a comprehensive timeline of events as he witnessed them occur on that day.

The former Capitol Police Chief questioned the massive security failures ahead of the January 6 riots.

As previously mentioned, the IICD intelligence assessment indicated that the January 6th protests/rallies were “expected to be similar to the previous Million MAGA March rallies in November and December 2020, which drew tens of thousands of participants.” The assessment indicated that members of the Proud Boys, white supremacist groups, Antifa, and other extremist groups were expected to participate in the January 6th event and that they may be inclined to become violent.

Pelosi promptly demanded that Sund resign on January 7. Sund presented his resignation letter later that day.

In 2021, Politico reported that a former high-ranking Capitol Police official with knowledge of the department’s reaction to the Jan. 6 attack had written a blistering letter to congressional leaders, accusing two of its senior officials of mishandling intelligence and failing to respond appropriately during the incident.

The whistleblower, who wanted anonymity for privacy reasons and left the force months after the incident, delivered the 16-page letter late last month to top House and Senate lawmakers from both parties.

The letter leveled scathing charges against Sean Gallagher, the Capitol Police’s acting head of uniformed operations, and Yogananda Pittman, the agency’s assistant chief of police for protection and intelligence operations — who also acted as acting chief.

Johnson, a 22-year veteran on the Capitol Police force, was tasked with securing the certification of the 2020 presidential election.

On January 6, 2021, political extremists known to the FBI to be planning to cause chaos during the 2020 election challenges were allowed by America’s intelligence and security services to lay siege to the Congress during the Electoral College.

The political extremists, who did not carry firearms and had no realistic means of ‘overturning the election,’ and who subsequently killed no one, were allowed to enter the capitol building, in some cases with the aiding and abetting of Capitol Police officers who held doors open and even escorted some J6ers, and in the absence of National Guard troops that Donald Trump wanted to have protect the election challenges.

The House of Representatives, led by then Speaker Pelosi, and the U.S. Senate, then led by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, did nothing to improve the security, despite repeated warnings, including from former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund. D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser flat refused to increase the National Guard presence. The Pentagon ignored warnings to enhance security for the election certification. A National Guard general later would say that security was deliberated reduced over supposed concerns about “optics.”

It has since come out the U.S. Capitol was crawling with FBI agents, human assets, undercover armed police officers, and agents provocateurs captured on video encouraging Trump supporters to go to the capitol after Donald Trump’s speech that implored supporters to “peacefully and patriotically” let their voices be heard — a clear call to show support for the election challenges taking place in the Congress, not encouragement to cause a meaningless and counter-productive riot that would inevitably end in defeat and possibly even criminal charges while doing nothing to aid the president’s legal and constitutional election challenges.

The one thing that has been lacking to unequivocally call January 6 a “set-up,” instead of merely an obvious one, is hard evidence provided by an insider, such as a Capitol Police officer, FBI agent, or Congressional staffer with access to state secrets.

Enter former Capitol Police Lieutenant Tarik Johnson. This week, Johnson made some startling claims that promises to blow the lid off the January 6 “cover-up.”

Johnson is making it clear that he is doing his due diligence to go through the proper procedures and channels to release potentially revelatory information he believes the American people have a right to know.

“I spoke to my lawyer and I told him what my plans are as it relates to releasing information on X about the J6 set-up and the cover-up that ensued after. I wanted to see what if any legal ramifications I’d be facing when I do. He stated he didn’t see any and if something arose we would deal with it together. So it’s a go!!!!!!!!!!!!!” he exclaimed on X.

“With that said, I ask for everyone to be patient as I’m going to do this right and I have to make another post before I load the 12-hour radio run to my page,” he continued. “Additionally, I am not a tech person so I will also have to learn to load large documents and audio files from my computer to X so I’m going to need a little more time. I still have to work in the middle of all this and I’m dealing with family stuff at the same time but you have my word I will get everything done by next week. Hopefully by Wednesday.”

“Some worry that something may happen to me prior to releasing the info. You can rest easy with that. Tom Fitton of Judical Watch has the info along with my attorney. Also

@TPC4USA [Steve Baker] (who you all should be following) has permission to receive the info and do whatever he believes is best with that info in the unlikely event I disappear. The man only wants the truth no matter where it leads,” he added.

“Please know that I am fighting for EVERYONE that was aggrieved from the events of J6 and UNITY in our country,” he continued. “I’m not doing this for any financial gain now or in the future but for the reasons I listed above by order of the God I serve. I am a LION and I will protect my cubs. In this case they are EVERYONE in the J6 community as you were set-up and that should not have happened to you even if you did wrong things that day. The police from all 17 agencies that responded to the Capitol to defend it as we should have been more prepared that day. All the people that died on J6 or as a result from that day. All whistleblowers from every agency that put their careers in jeopardy and or lost them because they wanted the truth out and saw what was happening to US citizens because of J6.”

“Thank you for listening and God bless the greatest nation in the world and all the people in it,” he closed.

Horror: State Department Reveals the Reason Hamas Didn't Let All

 the Female Hostages Go

By Bonchie

(The opinions expressed by contributors are their own and do not

 necessarily represent Red-State.Com)

 .

While Hamas unquestionably broke the ceasefire it had with Israel

by committing a terrorist attack in Jerusalem, there was another

reason for the recent renewal of hostilities. Namely, Hamas was

refusing to release the rest of the female hostages as per the

 agreement for the extensions given.

Now, the U.S. State Department is revealing the reason why, and it's

 horrific.

Miller's comment quickly drew fire from pro-Hamas figures on

social media, many of whom accused him of lying. Apparently, it's

just impossible to believe that the same barbarians who filmed

themselves murdering and mutilating people on October 7th would

dare rape anyone. Never mind the fact that videos from the initial

massacre showed clear signs of women being raped, including an

infamous video showing a woman being paraded around, barely able

to walk, with blood stains on her genitals.

Documentation was also found instructing Hamas fighters to rape

women while fighters who were captured testified to that effect.

Then there's the direct testimony from survivors who said they

witnessed rapes taking place at the music festival that became the

 centerpiece of the attack.

Still, no amount of evidence will ever be enough for the "pro-

Palestinian" crowd. Because they see everything through the

insane prism of intersectionalism, Hamas can't be seen or treated

as vicious oppressors. Rather, they must be coddled as supposedly

 oppressed.

It's a completely perverse worldview that leads to large numbers

of people, mostly Democrats, making excuses for terrorists even

as those terrorists continue to say that their goal is genocide. On

Sunday, Rep. Pramila Jayapal was asked specifically to condemn the

sexual violence carried out by Hamas. She instead danced around

the subject, calling for a "balanced" approach to condemning

 Palestinian terrorism.

Unfortunately, because of what has been done to the women still in

custody, it is unlikely they'll ever be voluntarily released or

allowed to live if the IDF begins to close in on their location.

Hamas survives only because of international protection from

corrupt organizations like the United Nations, and to allow that

level of direct evidence to get out would be a huge blow to the

 group's propaganda campaign.

Where are the left-wingers who were so concerned about

believing women and speaking out against sexual violence? It's

astonishing to see the same people who wanted to destroy Brett

Kavanaugh over non-credible accusations with zero evidence now

dismissing the well-evidenced rapes of Israeli women. It's

 astonishing, but not surprising.

Finally:

This wasn’t a one time thing. It was a trend that day. Many such

victims. Some survived and will have to live with the brutal scars.

Does Biden even have the strength to respond?  Highly doubtful
