I knew it was coming just not when.Today (8/11) our corrupt Atty. Gen circled the wagons so our, even more corrupt, president is protected from any discovery and prosecution.
The appointment of David Weiss, as a special prosecutor, is not only illegal but blatantly so. A special prosecutor must be disconnected from government. Weiss has proven to be a liar, slow walked his own investigation so many charges against Hunter are now barred by the statute of limitations and he was also the one who drafted Hunter's "sweetheart deal" which an honest judge struck down.
That the AG released same on Friday and then took no questions is just one more disreputable log thrown on the pyre of dishonesty. Garland seems not to give a whit about the appearance of honesty regarding his department.
Weiss now will be in a position to say I cannot respond because of an ongoing investigation which will end after the election when all he has to do is write a report stating "Uncle Joe" was completely innocent. Meanwhile, what the AG has also done is throw mud in the gears of the excellent, timely and methodically professional investigation by the various GOP Committees.
Shameful, and perfidious behaviour. No wonder the level of government distrust is so high.
