Semper Fi Gen Kelly. AIPAC's Mission. Uranium, Collusion, Clinton, Mueller, Holder and Obama. Obama's Shadow Government.

I just listened to Chief of Staff, Gen. Kelly's entire response .  The toughest of Marine's can also have a broken heart.  Semper Fi, Gen. Kelly.

The anti-Trump crowd are really sick.

And

We now have an ex-president who has established a shadow government to protect his legacy and who is fighting his successor's every action and you wonder why I despise Obama?

I am re-sending this posting. (See 1 below.)

I have belonged to AIPAC for over 40 years. Former Sen. Sam Nunn encouraged me to join, I did and subsequently a dear friend, class mate and fraternity brother became president of the organization and left an indelible mark (Meyer 'Bubba' Mitchell.)

AIPAC's goal is to build and maintain a close, strong and supportive relationship between America and Israel.

Were it not for Harry Truman, Israel would not have become a nation. Sec. of State, Marshall, threatened to resign if Trump carried through on his commitment.  Since it's founding, America has felt a moral connection to this tiny democracy and the relationship has been a strong and reciprocal one.

However, many in our State Department continue to maintain Marshall's view.

Obama talks about how he supported Israel's needs for defensive weaponry yet, he also shoved a treaty, disguised as a deal, down America's throat so Iran could become a nuclear threat ,not only in the Middle East and to Israel, but to America and the entire world.

As I have written many times before, what Obama did was supply Israel with bigger gloves as he created a bigger opponent, Iran, and brought it into the ring.

It would be as if I supplied my neighbor with an alarm system and then rented the house, I owned, which was next door to his to a gang of thugs and dope dealing hoods.(See 2 and 2a below.)

This was sent to me by a dear friend and fellow memo reader. (See 3 below.)

Before it is all over, Hillary and some of the highest officials of the Obama Administration, including Obama himself, will be engulfed by the sale of uranium to Russia.

It is uncanny how everything the former president and the Democrat's nominee for president have accused Trump of what they were apparently engaged in themselves.

The question is whether Sen. Grassley and Republicans have the guts to pursue this matter because the desire and efforts to prevent/stonewall will only grow.  Ironically, a private citizen law group  have been effective in uncovering the smell of collusion to date.

There are documents suggesting The Clinton Foundation received $145 million  from various Russians as well as bribes to persons in The Energy Department.   Atty. Gen Holder and FBI Chief Mueller signed off or knew about the FBI's concurrent investigation of collusion and sat on this information.  It is impossible for this to have happened without Obama knowing unless he is even more incompetent than I have given him credit of being. 1)An article by Charles K.

 New York Post:

I do not understand how living in a country with its democracy established over 200 years ago, and now, for the first time in history, suddenly we have one of our former presidents set up a group called "Organizing for Action" (OFA).

OFA is 30,000+ strong and working to disrupt everything that our current president’s administration is trying to do. This organization goes against our Democracy, and it is an operation that will destroy our way of governing. It goes against our Constitution, our laws, and the processes established over 200 years ago. If it is allowed to proceed then we will be living in chaos very much like third world countries are run. What good is it to have an established government if it is not going to be respected and allowed to follow our laws?

If you had an army some 30,000 strong and a court system stacked over the decades with judges who would allow you to break the laws, how much damage could you do to a country? We are about to find out in America!

Our ex-president said he was going to stay involved through community organizing and speak out on the issues and that appears to be one post-administration promise he intends to keep. He has moved many of his administration's top dogs over to Organizing for Action.

OFA is behind the strategic and tactical implementation of the resistance to the Trump Administration that we are seeing across America, and politically active courts are providing the leverage for this revolution.

OFA is dedicated to organizing communities for "progressive" change. Its issues are gun control, socialist healthcare, abortion, sexual equality, climate change, and of course, immigration reform.

OFA members were propped up by the ex-president's message from the shadows: "Organizing is the building block of everything great we have accomplished Organizers around the country are fighting for change in their communities and OFA is one of the groups on the front lines. Commit to this work in 2017 and beyond."

OFA's website says it obtained its "digital" assets from the ex-president's re-election effort and that he inspired the movement. In short, it is the shadow government organization aimed at resisting and tearing down the Constitutional Republic we know as AMERICA.

Paul Sperry, writing for the New York Post, says, “The OFA will fight President Donald Trump at every turn of his presidency and the ex-president will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House."

Sperry writes that, “The ex-president is setting up a shadow government to sabotage the Trump administration through a network of non-profits led by OFA, which is growing its war chest (more than $40 million) and has some 250 offices nationwide. The OFA IRS filings, according to Sperry, indicate that the OFA has 32,525 (and growing) volunteers nationwide. The ex-president and his wife will oversee the operation from their home/ office in Washington DC.

Think about how this works.. For example: Trump issues an immigration executive order; the OFA signals for protests and statements from pro-immigrant groups; the ACLU lawyers file lawsuits in jurisdictions where activist judges obstruct the laws; volunteers are called to protest at airports and Congressional town hall meetings; the leftist media springs to action in support of these activities; the twitter sphere lights up with social media; and violence follows. All of this happens from the ex-president's signal that he is heartened by the protests.

If Barack Obama did not do enough to destroy this country in the 8 years he was in office, it appears his future plans are to destroy the foundation on which this country has operated on for the last 241 years.

If this does not scare you, then we are in worse trouble than you know.

So, do your part. You have read it, so at least pass this on so others will know what we are up against. We are losing our country and we are so compliant. We are becoming a "PERFECT TARGET" for our enemy!

2) Editorial: A Bipartisan, Comprehensive Strategy on Iran

In an Oct. 13 address, the president outlined his administration’s new strategy toward Iran.  He enunciated his policy objectives and announced new steps the United States would take to counter Iran’s destabilizing activities and illicit proliferation of missiles and weapons. He promised to deny Iran all paths to a nuclear weapon.  And he declined to certify that sanctions relief under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was appropriate and proportionate to the steps taken by Iran to limit its nuclear program.

Even as the president decided not to certify Iran’s compliance, he indicated that the United States will not withdraw from the accord at this time. Instead, he called upon Congress and our allies to work together to address the deal's problematic sunset clauses and insufficient  inspections, while also addressing other dangers  posed by  Tehran–including its ballistic missile program.

The Iranian Challenge

Iran—the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism—remains the greatest long-term threat to American interests in the Middle East and to Israel. In 2015, the United States, Iran and world powers reached a nuclear accord that provided Iran with significant sanctions relief in exchange for temporary restrictions on its nuclear program.

The JCPOA did not address Iran’s other malign activities, including its regional expansionism, support for terrorism, intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) development, and human rights abuses. Unfortunately, in the wake of the JCPOA, Iran has stepped up its regional aggression.  And it has used the funds received from the nuclear deal and increased oil revenues to support both its own military activities and its regional proxies.

The Way Forward

Any comprehensive, bipartisan strategy on Iran must lay out a path that can successfully address two particularly key dangers:  (1) shortcomings in the JCPOA that will enable Iran—while complying with the deal—to come within days of breakout to a nuclear weapon, and (2) Iran’s regional aggression that endangers America and our allies.

Nuclear. The most problematic shortcomings in the nuclear deal are its sunset provisions, which lift most nuclear restrictions by 2026.  Also of deep concern is the fact that international inspectors must operate under several constraints.  For example, Iran has vowed that it will never permit inspections of its military facilities.  These shortcomings must be addressed if the world is to prevent Iran from ever obtaining a nuclear weapon.

Non-Nuclear.  Iran has only stepped up its malign activities since the agreement was reached. Since July 2015, Tehran has test-fired at least 15 missiles in defiance of U.N. Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 2231. Iran’s missiles can already reach Israel, other U.S. allies and U.S. forces in the region, and it is developing ICBMs capable of hitting America.

Iran is anchoring support for Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, and has increased its training and funding for terrorist groups like Hezbollah and Hamas.  Iran already holds considerable sway in four Arab capitals.  The world must thwart Iran’s efforts to dominate the Middle East and enable Hezbollah and Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces to camp on Israel’s border.

AIPAC’s Approach

In short, the United States must address both Iran’s dangerous aggression and the underlying flaws of the JCPOA. Iran must understand that the United States will never permit it to acquire nuclear weapons.

As outlined above, American must:
  • Overhaul the JCPOA’s sunset clauses;
  • Strengthen inspection of Iran’s nuclear program;
  • Counter Iran’s regional aggression and prevent a permanent military presence in Syria; and
  • Toughen sanction against those supporting Iran’s missile program, the IRGC, and Hezbollah

In addition, America must ensure that Israel has the means to defend itself against the growing Iranian threat.

Accomplishing these goals will not be easy. It will require strong American leadership and bipartisan cooperation. This is a critical moment. AIPAC urges the administration and Congress to work together to achieve these critical objectives.

2a) Unhindered by Trump, Iran’s nuclear weapons quest will persist, experts say
 and filed under IsraelNewsU.S.World.

By Ariel Ben Solomon

Iran is unlikely to halt its drive towards nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles in the aftermath of President Donald Trump’s recent refusal to recertify the Islamic Republic’s compliance with the 2015 nuclear agreement, experts say.

Trump’s move empowers Congress to decide whether to reimpose sanctions that were lifted as part of the deal between Iran and world powers. The Iranian leadership has made aggressive statements in response to the announcement of America’s new and tougher approach, with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps saying Thursday it would accelerate its ballistic missile program despite increased U.S. pressure, the semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, meanwhile, Wednesday called Trump and other senior U.S. officials “mentally retarded” due to their “repeated miscalculations and defeats,” Iran’s Fars News Agency reported.

“Iran just keeps threatening to do what it’s already been doing—continuing its path to nuclear weapons,” Emily Landau, director of the Arms Control and Regional Security Program at Tel Aviv University’s Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), told JNS.org. “The most it changes is the pace of progress and that’s precisely the problem with the JCPOA (the nuclear deal’s formal name): it doesn’t stop Iran.”

Raz Zimmt—an Iran expert at two Israeli think tanks, INSS and the Forum for Regional Thinking—echoed this sentiment, saying, “Under no circumstances would Iran change the [nuclear] deal.”

How will the nuclear deal unfold?

Zimmt told JNS.org he foresees three possible scenarios playing out regarding the Iran deal.

The first option is that the status quo continues, with no new sanctions enacted by the U.S. or the European Union (EU). Iran would continue building its economic ties with Europe, explained Zimmt, but with more difficulties due to the threat of possible new U.S. sanctions hanging over business deals, potentially scaring away EU businesses.

The second scenario would involve the U.S. unilaterally reimposing sanctions. The Europeans would oppose this, and most businesses on the continent would not want to risk their connections to the U.S. over Iran policy, said Zimmt.

“If this were to happen, the Iranians might completely withdraw from the deal, or at least take some actions in violation of the deal,” he said.

The third possibility would be a total collapse of the nuclear deal.

The most likely scenario, Zimmt said, is the second option—which would mean the U.S. unilaterally imposes sanctions, but Iran would continue to do some business with the EU and therefore would not want to withdraw from the nuclear deal.

The North Korean model

Alaeddin Boroujerdi, chairman of the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, hinted Oct. 16 that the Trump administration’s negative attitude about the nuclear deal could encourage Iran to mimic North Korea’s approach—using the cover of negotiations to develop nuclear weapons capability.

“The U.S. president showed by his remarks again that the U.S. government is not trustworthy and the U.S. behavior towards the nuclear deal persuades views of countries like North Korea,” Boroujerdi said during a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Yousef Bayazid in Tehran, the Fars News Agency reported.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has argued that by threatening to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal or seeking to alter the accord, the Trump administration would discourage other countries such as North Korea from reaching long-term agreements with the U.S.

Yet Landau said, “The argument that North Korea would not want to negotiate with the U.S. now that they see America wavering on Iran is completely bogus.”

“North Korea has not wanted to negotiate on its nuclear program for almost 10 years now, and let’s not forget how former President [Barack] Obama waited eight years for them to come to the table,” she said.

According to Landau, the U.S. is signaling it does not intend to leave the deal for now, but rather, it wants to strengthen the agreement and restore American deterrence vis-à-vis Iran.
Zimmt commented, “The most dangerous path Iran could take if put under more pressure would be to follow the North Korean model,” adding Iran could “seek to renegotiate after it achieved nuclear weapons [capability].”

The immediate threat to Israel

While top Israeli leaders have long argued Iran’s nuclear program is the most dangerous threat Israel faces, what constitutes arguably a more immediate concern is Tehran’s encroachment on the Jewish state’s northern border. Through proxies such as the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah, which together with Iran is supporting President Bashar al-Assad’s regime in the Syrian Civil War, Iran is striving to establish a land corridor from Tehran to Beirut, reaching Israel’s doorstep.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu this week that Israel “will not allow” an Iranian military buildup in Syria.

3)TO the NFL and its players,
If I have brain cancer, I don’t ask my dentist what I should do. If my car has a problem, I don’t seek help from a plumber! Why do you think the public cares what a football player thinks about politics? If we want to know about football, then depending on the information we seek, we might consult with you, but even a quarterback doesn’t seek advice on playing his position from a defensive tackle!

You seem to have this over inflated view of yourselves, thinking because you enjoy working on such a large scale stage, that somehow your opinion about everything matters. The NFL realizes the importance of its “image” so it has rules that specify the clothes and insignia you can wear, the language you use, and your “antics” after a touchdown or other “great” play. But somehow you and your employer don’t seem to care that you disgrace the entire nation and its 320 million people in the eyes of the world by publicly disrespecting this country, its flag, and its anthem! The taxpaying citizens of this country subsidize your plush work environments, yet you choose to use those venues to openly offend those very citizens.
Do you even understand what the flag of this country means to so many of its citizens before you choose to “take a knee” in protest of this “country" during our national anthem?

You may think because you are paid so much that your job is tough, but you are clueless when it comes to tough.  Let me show you those whose job is really tough.
You are spoiled babies who stand around and have staff squirt GatorAid in your mouths, sit in front of misting cooling fans when it’s warm, and sit on heated benches when it's cold. That’s not “tough” that's pampered.
You think that you deserve to be paid excessively high salaries, because you play a “dangerous" game where you can incur career ending injuries. Let me show you career ending injuries!
You think you that you deserve immediate medical attention and the best medical facilities and doctors when injured. Let me show you what it’s like for those who really need and deserve medical attention.
You think you have the right to disrespect the flag of the United States, the one our veterans fought for, risked limbs and mental stability to defend, in many cases died for. Let me show you what our flag means to them, their families, and their friends.
You believe you are our heroes, when in reality you are nothing but overpaid entertainers, who exist solely for our enjoyment! Well, your current antics are neither entertaining nor enjoyable, but rather a disgrace to this country, its citizens, all our veterans and their families, and the sacrifices they have made to ensure this country remains free. You choose to openly disgrace this country in the eyes of the rest of the world, yet with all your money, still choose to live here rather than in any other country. People with even the slightest amount of “Class” will stand and respect our flag. Where does that put you? You want to see heroes… here are this countries heroes!
You can protest policies, the current government, or anything else you choose, that is your right. But when you “protest” our flag and anthem, you are insulting the nation we all live in and love, and all those who have served, been injured, or died to keep it free. There is nothing you can do or say that can make your actions anything more than the arrogance of classless people, who care about themselves more than our country or the freedoms for which our veterans and their families have sacrificed so much, to ensure you have the “right” to speak freely. Our country is far from perfect, but if you can point to any other country where your freedom and opportunities are better than they are here, then you just might want to go there and show respect for their flag!

If you respect America and all those who have sacrificed so much to keep her free, please forward this to your friends and relatives. Eventually, it should end up in the mailboxes of those who choose to disrespect our country, its service members, our veterans, their families, and all of us who appreciate the freedoms America represents.

4)Judicial Watch: State Department

 Reveals 2,800 Huma Abedin

Government Documents on Weiner’s

 Laptop

Clinton Email Federal Court Hearing Thursday, October 19
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch revealed today that the U.S. Department of State admits it received 2,800 Huma Abedin work-related documents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that were found on her estranged husband Anthony Weiner’s personal laptop. Abedin was former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s deputy chief of staff. Weiner is a disgraced former congressman and New York mayoral candidate who recently plead guilty to transferring obscene material to a minor. Abedin kept a non-State.gov email account that she used repeatedly for government business on Hillary Clinton’s notorious email server(s).

The revelation was produced in a May 5, 2015, lawsuit Judicial Watch filed against the State Department (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:15-cv-00684)). Judicial Watch sued after the State Department failed to respond to a March 18, 2015, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request seeking: “All emails of official State Department business received or sent by former Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin from January 1, 2009 through February 1, 2013 using a non-‘state.gov’ email address.”

In accordance with a court ordered production of documents, the State Department’s court filing states: “The State Department has identified approximately 2,800 work-related documents among the documents provided by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.” By December 31, 2017, the State Department expects to complete its review and production of the FBI records. The government suggests some of the material may be “duplicative” of other records.

“This is a disturbing development. Our experience with Abedin’s emails suggest these Weiner laptop documents will include classified and other sensitive materials,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “When will the Justice Department do a serious investigation of Hillary Clinton’s and Huma Abedin’s obvious violations of law?”
Judicial Watch previously released 20 productions of documents in this case that show examples of mishandling of classified information and instances of pay to play between the Clinton State Department and the Clinton Foundation. Also, at least 627 emails were not part of the 55,000 pages of emails that Clinton turned over, and further contradict a statement by Clinton that, “as far as she knew,” all of her government emails had been turned over to department.

A hearing will be heard in a related case:
Date: Thursday, October 19
Time: 10:30 am
Location: Courtroom 19
U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia
333 Constitution Ave NW
Washington, DC 20001
The State Department is processing 100,000 emails Clinton failed to disclose when she served as Secretary of State, some of which were emails sent by Abedin that were found on Weiner’s laptop. Clinton attempted to delete 33,000 emails from her non-government server.

The State Department was ordered  to produce documents to Judicial Watch, and has been processing only 500 pages per month of emails uncovered by the FBI in its investigation into Clinton’s non-government email system. The State Department has produced 23 batches of documents in this case so far. At the current pace, the Clinton emails and other records won’t be fully available for possible release until at least 2020.

The lawsuit was originally filed in May 2015 (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:15-cv-00687)).

4a)  Sessions: Justice Will Review Concerns About Russian Payments to Clintons Before Uranium Deal with Putin

Sen. Grassley investigates Obama-era approval of Russian takeover of Uranium One

BY:

Attorney General Jeff Sessions declined to confirm or deny whether or not the Justice Department is investigating if Russian payments to the Clintons improperly influenced a decision by the Obama administration to approve a Russian takeover of a U.S. uranium mine.
In response to questioning by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) during a Wednesday Judiciary Committee hearing, Sessions said only that the Justice Department would "take such actions as is appropriate."
"Mr. Chairman, we will hear your concerns. The Department of Justice will take such actions as is appropriate, I know," Sessions said, noting that "some people involved have gone to jail in that transaction already."

"Without confirming or denying the existence of any particular investigation, I would say I hear your concerns and they will be reviewed," he added.
Grassley, who chairs the Judiciary Committee, is demanding more answers about the Russian takeover of a U.S. uranium mine—a sale approved during the Obama administration.
That sale, which gave Moscow control of more than 20 percent of U.S. uranium, is under new scrutiny after Tuesday reports that the FBI was investigating the Russian nuclear agency that acquired the uranium mine for a global bribery scheme before the sale was approved and that key members of Congress were not informed about the Russian scheme.
The reports noted that the Clinton Foundation received millions of dollars from Russian parties with ties to the transaction.
Then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, along with then-Attorney General Eric Holder, served on one of the agencies that approved the sale between Uranium One and Rosatom, a Russian state-owned nuclear agency. That agency is the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
Grassley wants to know if CFIUS and other U.S. agencies that signed off on the transaction were aware of the criminal FBI probe into a Russian bribery scheme. As attorney general, Holder would have known about the FBI probe.
He also pressed Sessions on whether he believed it would be proper for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to conduct any review or investigation of the Obama administration's handling of the uranium sale to the Russians. Rosenstein was the U.S. attorney in Maryland that investigated and prosecuted the Russian bribery scheme.
Sessions said that decision would be Rosenstein's to make, although he said he hoped that he would consult senior Justice Department ethics officials.
"It would be his decision, he is a man of integrity and ability," Sessions said. "If he feels that he has an inability to proceed with this investigation, it would be his responsibility to make that determination and should consult as I told you I would, as I have done, with the senior ethics committee at the department."
Grassley also highlighted the millions the Clinton Foundation received from "interested parties in the transaction," as well as a $500,000 payment former President Bill Clinton received for a speech in Moscow before a Russian-government aligned bank. Grassley noted that Clinton speech took place the same month the Russians began the process of acquiring the U.S. uranium mine.
"This fact-pattern raises serious concerns about the improper influence on the process by the previous—by the Clintons during the Obama administration," Grassley said. "Has the Justice Department fully investigated whether the Russians compromised the Obama administration's decision to smooth the way for this transaction? And if not, why not?"
Sessions responded that it would be inappropriate to disclose whether the Justice Department is looking into those payments to the Clintons.
"Mr. Chairman, we are working hard to maintain discipline in the department—it wouldn't be appropriate for me to comment on any ongoing investigations," he said.
Two years ago and again last week, Grassley said he wrote to the Justice Department about Russia's acquisition of Uranium One.
"It turns out that during the transaction, the Justice Department had an ongoing criminal investigation for bribery, extortion, and money laundering into officials for the Russian company making that purchase," Grassley said at the start of the Judiciary Committee hearing.
"Russians involved in the conspiracy were reportedly coordinating with high-level officials close to Vladimir Putin," he added.
While this FBI probe was going on, he noted, the Clinton Foundation reportedly received millions of dollars from interested parties in the transaction.
"Then-Secretary Clinton's State Department was one of the agencies that gave a thumb's up to the takeover. Somehow, despite all this, the Obama administration approved the transaction," he said.
