Dear Family,
I leave Tuesday as part of an emergency relief mission from Pittsburgh to Israel. I will be traveling with a group of others from “the Burgh”. Aside from doing our part to support Israel and their economy in this critical time of need we will be:
Delivering much needed supplies to the reserve soldiers in the south
Visiting and comforting the wounded in the hospitals
Filling positions left vacant by the soldiers who have been called up on reserve (harvesting crops, stocking shelves, delivering food to the elderly, etc.), and
Assisting the widows and children of the recently fallen with their immediate needs
All travel and logistics are being self-funded. We are raising funds, 100% of which will be used IN ISRAEL to support the organizations in need and to purchase much needed supplies for the troops.
Anything you can do to support our efforts would be appreciated from the deepest reaches of my heart. Despite the success of the iron dome and the Israeli military thus far, our brothers and sisters in Israel need our help and support.
