The below poem was sent to me by a doctor friend and fellow memo reader

AN ILLEGAL POEM
By Illegal Immigrants

I cross river,
Poor and broke,

Take bus,
See employment folk.

Nice man
Treat me good in there,
Say I need
Go see Welfare.

Welfare say,
'You come no more,

We send cash
Right to your door.'

Welfare checks,
They make you wealthy,

Medicaid
It keep you healthy!

By and by,
Got plenty money,

Thanks to you, TAXPAYER dummy.

Write to friends
In motherland,

Tell them
'come, fast as you can'

They come in buses
And Chevy trucks,

I buy big house
With welfare bucks.

They come here,
We live together,

More welfare checks,
It gets better!

Fourteen families,
They moving in,

But neighbor's patience
Wearing thin.

Finally, white guy
Moves away,

I buy his house,
And then I say,

'Find more aliens
For house to rent.'

In my yard
I put a tent.

Send for family
They just trash,

But they, too,
Draw welfare cash!

Everything is
Very good,
Soon we own
Whole neighborhood..

We have hobby
It called breeding,

Welfare pay
For baby feeding.

Kids need dentist?
Wife need pills?

We get free!
We got no bills!

TAXPAYER crazy!
He pay all year,
To keep welfare
Running here.

We think America
Darn good place!
Too darn good
For white man race.
If they no like us,
They can go,
Got lots of room
In Mexico.  (See 1 below.)

Is it possible Hamas and the Palestinians are beginning to outlive their usefulness as pawns for the bleeding hearts and are becoming an annoyance?

In almost 48 years several million Palestinians remain refugees thereby, providing employment for U.N. workers who live in nice homes in Israel's French Quarter and drive white new Chevrolet's.

The Palestinians also receive billions in aid on a continuing basis and serve as the basis for perpetuating the myth that their plight is due to Israel.

During this same period, Israel absorbed and integrated, into their nation, several million refugees from all over the world, including many thousands from Africa, and at the same time became a thriving technologically based nation the envy of the objective world.

So what gives? (See 3, 3a, 3b, 3c  and 3d  below.)

Tina Griego is a Free-Lance reporter for the Denver Post, and she also is a  journalist for the Denver Rocky Mountain News.

She  wrote a  column titled, "Mexican Visitor's Lament. Tina is a strong advocate for LEGAL immigration ....
Homework on issues is part of her make-up and fabric ....

What if 20 Million Illegal Aliens Vacated America?

I  interviewed Mexican journalist Evangelina Hernandez while she was
visiting Denver last week. Hernandez said, "Illegal aliens pay rent, buy
groceries, buy clothes. What happens to your country's economy if 20 million
people go away?"

Hmmm, I thought, what would happen?

So I did my due diligence, buried my nose as a reporter into the FACTS I
found below.

It's a good question... it deserves an honest answer. Over 80% of Americans
demand secured borders and illegal migration stopped.  But what would happen
if all 20 million or more vacated America? The answers I found may surprise
you!

In California, if 3.5 million illegal aliens moved back to Mexico, it would
leave an extra $10.2 billion to spend on overloaded school systems, bankrupt
hospitals and overrun prisons.  It would leave highways cleaner, safer and
less congested.  Everyone could understand one another as English would be
the dominant language again.

In Colorado, 500,000 illegal migrants, plus their 300,000 kids and grandkids
would move back "home," mostly to Mexico.  That would save Colorado an
estimated $2 billion
(other experts say $7 billion) annually in taxes that pay for schooling,
medical, social-services and incarceration costs.  It means
12,000 gang members would vanish out of Denver alone.

Colorado would save more than $20 million in prison costs, and the terror
that those 7,300 alien criminals set upon local citizens. Denver Officer Don
Young and hundreds of Colorado victims would not have suffered death,
accidents, rapes and other crimes by illegals.

Denver Public Schools would not suffer a 67% dropout/flunk rate because of
thousands of illegal alien students speaking 41 different languages.  At
least 200,000 vehicles would vanish from our gridlocked cities in Colorado.
Denver's 4% unemployment rate would vanish as our working poor would gain
jobs at a living wage.

In Florida, 1.5  million illegals would return the Sunshine State back to
America, the rule of law, and English.

In Chicago, Illinois, 2.1 million illegals would free up hospitals, schools,
prisons and highways for a safer, cleaner and more crime-free experience.

If 20 million illegal aliens returned 'home,' the U.S.  Economy would return
to the rule of law. Employers would hire legal American citizens at a living
wage. Everyone would  pay their fair share of taxes because they wouldn't be
working off the books.  That would result in an additional $401 billion in
IRS income taxes collected annually, and an equal amount for local, state
and city coffers.

No more push '1' for Spanish or '2' for English.  No  more confusion in
American schools that now must contend with over 100 languages that degrade
the educational system for American kids.  Our overcrowded schools would
lose more than two million illegal alien kids at a cost of billions in ESL
and free breakfasts and lunches.

We would lose 500,000 illegal criminal alien inmates at a cost of more than
$1.6 billion annually.  That includes 15,000 MS-13 gang members who
distribute $130 billion in drugs annually would vacate our country.

In cities like L.A., 20,000 members of the '18th Street Gang' would vanish
from our nation.  No more Mexican forgery gangs for ID theft from Americans!
No more foreign rapists and child molesters!

Losing more than 20 million people would clear up our crowded highways and
gridlock.  Cleaner air and less drinking and driving American deaths by
illegal aliens!

America's economy is drained.  Taxpayers are harmed.  Employers get rich.
Over $80 billion annually wouldn't return to the aliens' home countries by
cash transfers.  Illegal  migrants earned half that money untaxed, which
further drains America 's economy which currently suffers an $8.7 trillion
debt.  $8.7 trillion debt!!!

At least 400,000 anchor babies would not be born in our country, costing us
$109 billion per year per cycle. At least 86 hospitals in California,
Georgia and Florida would still be operating instead of being bankrupt out
of existence because illegals pay nothing via the EMTOLA Act.  Americans
wouldn't suffer thousands of TB and hepatitis cases rampant in our country -
brought in by illegals unscreened at our borders.

Our cities would see 20 million less people driving, polluting and grid
locking our cities.  It would also put the 'progressives' on the horns of a
dilemma; illegal aliens and their families cause 11% of our greenhouse
gases.

Over one million of Mexico's poorest citizens now live inside and along our
border from Brownsville, Texas, to San Diego, California, in what the New
York Times called, 'colonias' or new neighborhoods. Trouble is, those living
areas resemble Bombay and Calcutta where grinding poverty, filth, diseases,
drugs, crimes, no sanitation and worse.  They live without sewage, clean
water, streets, roads, electricity, or any kind of sanitation.

The New York Times reported them to be America's new 'Third World' inside
our own country. Within 20 years, at their current growth rate, they expect
20 million residents of those colonias.
(I've seen them personally in Texas and Arizona; it's sickening beyond
anything you can imagine.)

By enforcing our laws, we could repatriate them back to Mexico. We should
invite 20 million aliens to go home, fix their own countries and/or make a
better life in Mexico.  We already invite a million people into our country
legally annually, more than all other countries combined.  We cannot and
must not allow anarchy at our borders, more anarchy within our borders and
growing lawlessness at every level in our nation.

It's time to stand up for our country, our culture, our civilization and our
way of life.

Interesting Statistics!

Here are 14 reasons illegal aliens should vacate America, and I hope they
are forwarded over and over again until they are read so many times that the
reader gets sick of reading them:

1.  $14 billion to $22 billion dollars are spent each year on welfare to
illegal aliens (that's Billion with a 'B') <http://tinyurl.com/zob77.html>
3.  $7.5 billion dollars are spent each year on Medicaid for illegal aliens.
<http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.html>

4.  $12 billion dollars are spent each year on primary and secondary school
education for children here illegally and they  still cannot speak a word of
English!<http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANscriptS/0604/01/ldt.01.html %3e;

5.  $27 billion dollars are spent each year for education for the
American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.
<http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANscriptS/0604/01/ldt.01.html%3 e;

6.  $3 Million Dollars 'PER DAY' is  spent to incarcerate illegal aliens.
That's $1.2 Billion a year.
<http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANscriptS/0604/01/ldt.01.html%3e;

7.  28% percent of all federal prison inmates are illegal aliens. >
8.  $190 billion dollars are spent each year on illegal aliens for welfare &
social services by the American taxpayers.

9.  $200 billion dollars per year in suppressed American wages are caused by
the illegal aliens.http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANscriptS/0604/01/ldt.01.H
TML

10.  The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that's two
and a half times that of white non-illegal aliens.  In particular, their
children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in t he US.
<http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANscriptS/0606/12/ldt.01.html%3e;

11.  During the year 2005, there were 8 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that
crossed our southern border with as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from other
terrorist countries.  Over 10,000 of those were middle-eastern terrorists.
Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroin, crack, guns, and
marijuana crossed into the U.S. from the southern border.

12.  The National Policy Institute, estimates that the total cost of mass
deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion, or an average cost of
between $41 and $46 billion  annually over a five year period.

13.  In 2006, illegal aliens sent home $65 BILLION in remittances back to
their countries of origin, to their families and friends.

14.  The dark side of illegal immigration:  Nearly one million sex crimes
are committed by illegal immigrants in the United States!

Total cost a  whopping $538.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR !

Larry ElderSome people claim to possess "gaydar," an ability to discern the sexual orientation of a gay person. Our U.S. attorney general, it seems, possesses the instinctive ability to discern "racists."

Attorney General Eric Holder, in a recent interview, reiterates the theme heard from the very beginning of President Barack Obama's administration: opposition to Obama's agenda equals racism. "There's a certain level of vehemence, it seems to me, that's directed at me (and) directed at the president."
What is Holder's proof -- to the extent that any is required?
After all, following his election, Obama's favorable ratings reached nearly 80 percent, higher than any president-elect since John F. Kennedy. Obama, in 2008, received a greater percentage of the "white vote" than did John Kerry.
Polls, studies and statistics, for Holder, aren't relevant when it comes to racism. Some claim to possess "gaydar," an ability to discern the sexual orientation of a gay person. Holder, it seems, possesses the instinctive ability to discern "racists."
Holder added, "You know, people talking about taking their country back. ... There's a certain racial component to this for some people. I don't think this is the thing that is a main driver, but for some there's a racial animus."
Is Holder truly suggesting opponents disguise their racial animus through rhetoric like, "taking their country back"? Where have we heard the assertion that the take-back-America slogan equals racism?
Ben Jealous, the former president and CEO of the NAACP, made the same argument back in 2010. "They use this rhetoric," said Jealous, "'take back our country' -- as if nobody else belongs to the country. ... They question the nationality of people of color from the President all the way down. And it's deeply, deeply disturbing."
But CNN's Anderson Cooper played Jealous a montage of Democratic politicians using the very same rhetoric:
Then-presidential candidate Howard Dean, 2003: "Today, we stand in common purpose to take our country back!"
Then-presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry, 2004: "To take back our country ... "
Sen. Charles Schumer, N.Y., 2006: "We are going to take our country back!"
Then-presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama, 2007: "It's going to be because of you that we take our country back."
Then-presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton, 2008: "To make sure we take our country back ... "
New Mexico's Gov. Bill Richardson, 2008: "Are you ready to take our country back?"
Then-Minnesota senatorial candidate Al Franken, 2008: "This is the year we take our country back."
Harvard law professor and defense attorney Alan Dershowitz made the same rhetoric-equals-racism argument back in 1998, only he objected the way the "right wing" refers to themselves as "real Americans." For example, a former Southern Republican criticized Dershowitz by saying, "Real America understands that the Constitution is there for a reason."
To this Dershowitz responded, "Whenever I hear the words 'real Americans,' that sounds to me like a code word for racism, a code word for bigotry, a code word for anti-Semitism." We go again to the videotape:
Then-President Bill Clinton, 1995: "Look, I know America first and foremost is a place where individual effort and family values count. That's why I am successful. But I live in the real America -- not in Washington, DC."
Then-President Clinton, 1997: "Remember how you have seen things like that during the natural disasters here in California. That is the face of the real America. That is the face I have seen over and over again. That is the America somehow, some way, we have to make real in daily American life."
Then-President Clinton, 1998: "America's got a good agenda in the coming months. We can be for saving Social Security first, better schools, a cleaner environment, and a Patient's Bill of Rights, and we can sell that in every place in America. They are real choices real Americans face in this election."
Then-first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, 1994: "They have enabled this day to come about, because they were willing to think differently, to put people first, to solve real problems that real Americans face every day."
Then-House Minority Leader Rep. Richard Gephardt, Mo., 1998: "We will carry on this fight every day of the rest of this year to fight for the real issues that real Americans care about so deeply."
Speaking of race, Attorney General Holder said, "The greatest threats (posed by racism) do not announce themselves in screaming headlines. They are more subtle. They cut deeper ... and ... are more pernicious." Holder offered three specific examples of "subtle," "deep," "pernicious" racism.
What are they? One, the push by some states for voter ID. Two, that black men receive longer prison sentences compared to white men for same crime. Third, that black kids are expelled/suspended at higher rates compared to white students.
In the case of voter ID, blacks support the requirement almost as much as do whites. Prison sentences are based, in part on arrests, something juries are unusually barred from hearing about. As for suspensions, schools in both liberal and conservative areas experience the same thing -- black boys disproportionately expelled.
Blame bad behavior, lack of discipline at home or fatherless homes. But blaming the consequences of bad behavior on "pernicious" racism does damage to growth and personal responsibility. Nice work, Mr. Holder.

  3)  Gatestone Institute
Egyptians Hoping Israel Will Destroy Hamas

Over the past week there are voices coming out of Egypt and some Arab countries -- voices that publicly support the Israeli military operation against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
They see the atrocities and massacres committed by Islamists on a daily basis in Iraq and Syria and are beginning to ask themselves if these serve the interests of the Arabs and Muslims.
"Thank you Netanyahu and may God give us more [people] like you to destroy Hamas!" — Azza Sami of the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram.
Isolated and under attack, Hamas now realizes that it has lost the sympathy of many Egyptians and Arabs.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi has thus far turned down appeals from Palestinians and other Arabs to work toward achieving a new ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
Palestinian Authority [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas telephoned Sisi and urged him to intervene to achieve an "immediate ceasefire" between Israel and Hamas. Abbas later admitted that his appeal to Sisi and (other Arab leaders) had fallen on deaf ears.
Sisi's decision not to intervene in the current crisis did not come as a surprise. In fact, Sisi and many Egyptians seem to be delighted that Hamas is being badly hurt.
Some Egyptians are even openly expressing hope that Israel will completely destroy Hamas, which they regard as the "armed branch of the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organization."
Sisi's Egypt has not forgiven Hamas for its alliance with Muslim Brotherhood and its involvement in terrorist attacks against Egyptian civilians and soldiers over the past year.
The Egyptians today understand that Hamas and other radical Islamist groups pose a serious threat to their national security. That is why the Egyptian authorities have, over the past year, been taking tough security measures not only against Hamas, but also the entire population of the Gaza Strip.
These measures include the destruction of dozens of smuggling tunnels along the border between the Gaza Strip and Egypt and the designation of Hamas as a terrorist organization.
True, there are still many Egyptians and Arabs who sympathize with Hamas, mainly because it is being targeted by Israel. But over the past week, there are also different voices coming out of Egypt and some other Arab countries -- voices that publicly support the Israeli military operation against the Islamist movement in the Gaza Strip.
This is perhaps because a growing number of Arabs and Muslims are fed up with the Islamist terrorists who are imposing a reign of terror and intimidation in the Arab world, particularly in Iraq and Syria. They see the atrocities and massacres committed by Islamists on a daily basis in Iraq and Syria and are beginning to ask themselves if these serve the interests of the Arabs and Muslims.
Sisi and other Arab leaders are now sitting on the fence and hoping that this time Israel will complete the job and get rid of Hamas once and for all. Palestinian Authority officials in Ramallah are certainly not going to shed a tear if Hamas is crushed and removed from power in the Gaza Strip.
The reaction of some Egyptians to the Israeli military operation has shocked Hamas and other Palestinians. As one Hamas spokesman noted: "It's disgraceful to see that some Egyptians are publicly supporting the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip while Westerners are expressing solidarity with the Palestinians and condemning Israel."
Addressing the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Egyptian actor Amr Mustafa said that they should not expect any help from the Egyptians. "You must get rid of Hamas and we will help you," he said. He also called on Hamas to stop meddling in the internal affairs of Arab countries. "Pull your men out of Egypt, Syria and Libya," Mustafa demanded. "In Egypt, we are today fighting poverty that was caused by wars. We have enough of our own problems. Don't expect the Egyptians to give more than what they have already given. We've had enough of what you did to our country."
In response to Egyptian Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi's decision to dispatch 500 tons of food and medical aid to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the Egyptian newspaper El-Bashayer remarked: "The standard of living for a Gazan citizen is much higher than that of an Egyptian citizen. The poor in Egypt are more in need than the poor in the Gaza Strip. Let Qatar spend as much as it wants on the Gaza Strip. We should not send anything that Egyptians are in need of."
Famous Egyptian TV presenter and journalist Amr Adeeb has been told by many Egyptians to "shut up" after his criticism of Sisi's "silence" toward the war in the Gaza Strip.
One Egyptian reminded Adeeb that "Hamas is responsible for the killing of Egyptian soldiers."
Egyptian ex-general Hamdi Bakhit was quoted as expressing hope that Israel would re-occupy the Gaza Strip. "This would be better than the Hamas rule," he said.
Egyptian TV presenter Amany al-Khayat launched a scathing attack on Hamas.
She pointed out that Hamas agreed to the reconciliation pact with Fatah only in order to get salaries for its employees in the Gaza Strip.
Al-Khayat said that Hamas was seeking to depict itself as a victim of an Israeli attack only in order to get the Egyptian authorities to reopen the Rafah border crossing with the Gaza Strip. "They just want us to open the Rafah border crossing," she said on her show. "Hamas is prepared to make all the residents of the Gaza Strip pay a heavy price in order to rid itself of its crisis. We must not forget that Hamas is the armed branch of the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist movement."
Her colleague, Azza Sami of the newspaper Al-Ahram, went as far as thanking Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for ordering the attack on Hamas. "Thank you Netanyahu and may God give us more [people] like you to destroy Hamas," she wrote.   [!!!!!]
What is also remarkable is Egyptian criticism of Hamas for launching rockets at the nuclear facility in Dimona in southern Israel. Ahmed Qandeel, head of the Energy Studies Program at the Al-Ahram Strategic Studies think-tank, denounced the targeting of Dimona as "idiotic." He warned that this would have a negative impact on the entire region and endanger the lives of many Egyptians and Arabs. "Egypt must take precautionary measures," he advised.
In response, an Egyptian wrote: "May God make the State of Israel victorious in its war against the terrorist movement Hamas during this holy month of Ramadan."
Echoing the widespread sentiment among Egyptians, journalist Mustafa Shardi said: "No Arab country has done for the Palestinians as Egypt did. Why doesn't Hamas go to (Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip) Erdogan? Where is Erdogan when you need him? Why is he silent? If he opens his mouth they (Israel and the US) will hit him with a shoe. The Egyptian people are asking: Where are our people who were kidnapped and taken to the Gaza Strip? Hamas should apologize for the 1000 tunnels that were used to smuggle the resources of Egypt. They all have their own planes and accounts in Swiss banks."
Isolated and under attack, Hamas now realizes that it has lost the sympathy of many Egyptians and Arabs. Some Hamas leaders are now talking about the "betrayal" and "collusion" of their Arab brethren, especially Egypt.
When the Egyptian authorities reluctantly and briefly re-opened the Rafah border crossing a few days ago, Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum rushed to declare: "The Egyptian authorities opened the Rafah border crossing only to receive bodies. Egypt is imposing a blockade on the Gaza Strip and has destroyed the tunnels."
Former Palestinian Authority security commander Mohamed Dahlan predicted that the Egyptians will not do anything to save Hamas. "Egypt won't intervene to stop the war on the Gaza Strip because Hamas was conspiring with the Muslim Brotherhood against Egypt," he said. "Hamas was working with Muslim Brotherhood against the Egyptian army."
Hamas is paying a heavy price for meddling in the internal affairs of Egypt and some other Arab countries. But the Palestinians living under Hamas in the Gaza Strip are paying a heavier price, largely due to their failure to rise up against the Islamist movement and demand the right to live better lives.

3a) Pew: Partisan gap on Israel support is largest in 40 years

Survey finds 51% of Americans sympathize with Israel over the Palestinians in current conflict, but gulf between the parties is widening

WASHINGTON — With Palestinian rockets raining down on Israeli cities and the IDF striking targets in the Gaza Strip, a new poll has found that support for Israel over the Palestinians among US citizens remains high, but that support is an increasingly partisan issue. The Pew Center for People and the Press, which administered the survey, revealed Tuesday that the most recent poll indicates the largest partisan divide between Democrats and Republicans on the issue in forty years of polling.

According to a national survey conducted among 1,805 adults and published Tuesday, 51 percent of Americans support Israel more than the Palestinians in the current conflict, only 14% said they were more supportive of the Palestinian cause, while 15% said they identify with neither side in the ongoing conflict. Three percent of those polled said they sympathize equally with both Israel and the Palestinians.

Despite the strong overall support demonstrated in the study, the Pew Center for People and the Press wrote that “dating back to the late 1970s, the partisan gap in Mideast sympathies has never been wider.”

Among Republican voters, support for Israel grew by five percent, rising from 68% to 73% since a similar poll was conducted in April. The Pew poll found that among conservative and moderate Republicans, sympathy for Israel was at 77% and 64%. Only 6% of Republicans said they sympathize more with the Palestinians.

The Democratic voter base’s support for Israel remained largely unchanged, dropping 2% from 46% to 44% since the last poll, while 17% of Democrats said they backed the Palestinians. Only 39% of those who defined themselves as “liberal Democrats” were sympathetic to Israel.

Republican Jewish Committee Chairman Matt Brooks said that “for years, public opinion polls have documented the large gap in support for Israel between Republicans and Democrats, with Republicans being far more supportive of Israel. This poll shows a gap of 27 points.”

Brooks noted that “fewer than half of the Democrats polled say they have more sympathy for Israel than for the Palestinians,” adding that the data represents “a sad and sobering confirmation of the Democrat Party’s shift over time away from support of Israel, especially at its grassroots.”

“If support for Israel ceases to be bipartisan, the US-Israel relationship – which is of so much benefit to both countries – will suffer,” he warned.

Among independents, forty five percent said they side more with Israel, while 17% supported the Palestinians.
However, the poll found significant differences of opinion regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict among different age groups in the US. Consistently, less than half of those aged 30-49 (47%) as well as those under the age of 30 (44%) stated their support for Israel. In comparison, 56% of those aged 50-64 and 60% of those older than 65 said they identified with Israel more than the Palestinians.

The survey was conducted by interviewers at Princeton Data Source under the direction of Princeton Survey Research Associates International.

3b)  Palestinian genocide is real
By Caroline B. Glick
A cold, objective examination of the facts that every truth seeker should know and "share" via social media
If the Palestinians are merely engaged in a nationalist struggle for self-determination, then why are they inciting genocide of Jewry? In the midst of Operation Protective Edge, Hamas released a music video in Hebrew calling for the Palestinians to bomb Israel and kill all Israelis.
"Raze it [Israel] to the ground, exterminate the cockroaches' nest, and banish all the Zionists," the lyrics read.
Some human rights activists and lawyers may get a sense of déjà vu upon reading these words. Back in 1994, there were several radio broadcasts calling for the extermination of human cockroaches.
They were in Rwanda.
When the Hutus began their genocide of the Tutsis on April 6, 1994, the most popular radio station in the country was RTLM, owned by relatives and friends of Rwandan president Juvenal Habyrarimana.
That day, RTLM exhorted its listeners, "You have to kill the Tutsis, they're cockroaches. All those who are listening, rise so we can fight for our Rwanda. Fight with the weapons you have at your disposal: those who have arrows, with arrows, those who have spears, with spears.
We must all fight. We must all fight the Tutsis. We must finish with them, exterminate them, sweep them from the whole country. There must be no refuge for them."
RTLM continued to incite for genocide throughout the war. And as the invading Tutsi army came in from Uganda, RTLM staff fled to Zaire with a mobile radio transmitter to continue broadcasting.
After the war, several senior RTLM managers and journalists were convicted of inciting genocide, and conspiracy to carry out genocide and crimes against humanity. And all right-thinking people cheered.
But then, those were Hutus.
Even Palestinian officials acknowledge that their missile offensive that began last month is a crime against humanity.
In an interview with Palestinian Authority TV last week, Ibrahim Khreiseh, the PLO 's ambassador to the UN Human Rights Committee admitted, "The missiles that are now being launched against Israel — each and every missile constitutes a crime against humanity whether it hits or misses, because it is directed at civilian targets."
Khreiseh also explained that since Palestinians in Gaza have "appeared on TV and said that the Israeli army warned them to evacuate their homes before the bombardment... if someone is killed, the law considers it a mistake rather than an intentional killing because [the Israelis] followed legal procedures."
Khreiseh then noted, "We never warn anyone about where these missiles are about to fall or the operations we carry out."
In other words, the PLO 's own representative said that Israel is innocent and the Palestinians are guilty of conducting acts of genocide.
But their Western supporters don't care. Instead, their affection and commitment to the Palestinian campaign against Israel grows in intensity every time the Palestinians escalate their genocidal incitement and violence.
This support regularly involves anti-Jewish violence directed against local Jewish communities and pro-Israel activists.
Consider France. Since the beginning of the year, anti-Jewish violence and intimidation in France has reached levels not seen since the Holocaust. And things have only gotten worse since Palestinian terrorists in Hebron kidnapped and murdered Naftali Fraenkel, Eyal Yifrah and Gil-Ad Shaer a month ago. Life for Jews in France is becoming increasingly untenable.
Anti-Jewish attacks run the gamut from shouting "Death to the Jews," and "Finish Hitler's Work," to delivering bomb threats to Jewish kindergartens and businesses, to vandalizing Jewish businesses, institutions and other property, to physically assaulting Jews of all ages, as well as Jewish institutions.
On Sunday, violent mass assaults on Jewish targets commenced just as a two-hour-long fanatically pro-Palestinian march was dispersing. Nearly 200 Jewish worshipers were trapped inside of the Don Issac Avrabanel synagogue as assailants, riled up from the march, threw bricks at the synagogue and attacked its Jewish defenders with metal rods.
In the US, levels of violence against Jews by supporters of the Palestinians continue to rise. In San Francisco, pro-Palestinian protesters showed their solidarity with the Palestinian goal of genocide by, among other things, calling for Israel's destruction while wearing white gloves with red paint on the fingers and palms.
One of the most searing images of the Palestinian terror war against Israel was the photograph taken on October 12, 2000, of a Palestinian terrorist at the Ramallah police station standing in the window and holding up his blood-soaked hands to a cheering crowd below.
Inside, he and his war criminal comrades had torn apart two IDF reservists who got lost on the road and accidentally entered Ramallah. The blood on his hands was theirs.
In Los Angeles and Boston, pro-Israel demonstrators were physically assaulted and subjected to anti-Semitic vitriol. In Seattle, pro-Palestinian protesters held up placards depicting Jews eating Palestinian children and drinking their blood.
Street protests calling for the annihilation of Israel, expressing support for Palestinian terrorists, engaging in rank anti-Jewish incitement and violent assaults against Jews enjoy the intellectual support of the professoriate and the media.

This week, Daniel Mael, a pro-Israel activist at Brandeis, published excerpts from a previously secret listserv of nearly a hundred university professors. On it, the professors "express their fear and disdain on issues ranging from [US] foreign and domestic policy, the 'American system,' and 'the Israelists.'" In other words, anti-Israelism is one of the causes that comprise the Leftist ideological litmus test.
Then there is the media. With rare exceptions, foreign reporting of the Palestinian assault on Israel has followed the script. Both sides are fighting. Israel is killing more Palestinians than the Palestinians are killing Jews.
Therefore Israel must stop defending itself.
And the diplomatic community — with the notable exception of Canada — has been similarly predictable.
No one admits what Khreiseh acknowledged about each separate rocket launch constituting a separate war crime.
No one mentions that Fatah terrorists joined Hamas in its missile campaign.
Then there are the leftist American Jews who claim that they are pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian. The Palestinian rocket war makes them uncomfortable.
On the one hand, they cannot ignore the fact that 80 percent of Israelis have been targeted for slaughter by Hamas rockets over the past week and a half. But on the other hand, they define themselves by their criticism of Israel, not their criticism of the Palestinians. So, J Street, like Eric Yoffie from the Reform Movement, condemned both the Palestinians and Israel. The Palestinians are bad to shoot rockets to kill Israelis. The Israelis are bad because they continue to live in Judea and Samaria and Jerusalem.
As Yoffie explained in a recent essay in Haaretz, to combat Hamas, Israel needs to quit Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem, as it quit Gaza in 2005, because then Fatah will make peace with Israel.
Like the Israeli leftists they adore, neither Yoffie nor his fellow leftist Jews have ever explained how peace with Fatah will solve Israel's problem with Hamas. They never explain how such a peace will pacify or otherwise tame Hamas, an organization committed to the commission of the genocide of world Jewry.
These are distressing times for Israel. For over a week, more than four million Israelis have been forced to run to bomb shelters to protect themselves from Hamas's attempts to slaughter civilians with rockets in order to advance its ultimate aim of genocide.
And even as Palestinian officials acknowledge the nature of this war, rather than rethink their support for genocidal terrorists anti-Israel activists in the US and Europe redouble their support for the Palestinians, by among other things engaging in violent assaults on local Jews. In so doing, they demonstrate that they share the Palestinians' ultimate objective.
These activists are in turn supported by the leftist academia.
Their efforts are buoyed by the media which, at a minimum, fail to report on the nature of the campaign against Israel and generally, actively strive to obfuscate it. Leftist Jews, while compelled to condemn Hamas rocket fire, (but not rocket fire by Fatah militias), nonetheless make clear that at a minimum, Israel is also to blame for the Palestinian assault because it doesn't give other Palestinians its heartland and capital city.
Finally, as we see with US-led Western demand that Israel reach a cease-fire with Hamas without first defeating the Palestinian terror machine in Gaza, the activists, the professoriate and the media are joined by political leaders who all agree that inciting and acting on behalf of the genocide of Jewry is not a disqualifying offense.

Hamas Wants to Die

Originally published by PJ Media under the title, "Hamas is the Norm, Israel is the Exception."

It's like the old joke: Why do Jewish men die before their wives? Because they want to. Civilizations for the most part die because they no longer want to live. That is the nub of my 2011 book How Civilizations Die (and Why Islam Is Dying, Too)They cease to believe in their own future and distract themselves from the prospect of extinction as best they can. Hellenistic Greece was the first universal demographic disaster; it gave us prototypes of the steam engine and the computer (via Hero of Alexandria) as well as the modern literary forms. But even wealthy men exposed their daughters and the population imploded. When Aristotle taught that men naturally seek the good, the overwhelming preponderance of evidence had already turned against him. Most men seek nothingness. Soon the last surviving remnants of the classical world will disappear. In another generation, more people will speak Hebrew than Greek.

Hamas wants to die, obviously and visibly. That thought horrifies Westerners. As a number of Israeli commentators observe, Hamas doesn't particularly care about having a Palestinian State. It wants to destroy the Jewish State and is willing to die in the process. It wants to die in such a way that Israel will die, too. There is something utterly surreal to Hamas crowding civilians around military targets, and Israeli pilots declining to attack them. It recalls joke about the sadist and the masochist. The masochist says, "Beat me!," and the sadist says, No…suffer."

Hamas, to be sure, proposes to die in an accelerated time frame and a particularly disgusting fashion, but it should be kept in mind that self-willed extinction is the norm. West of the Indus, Israel is the only survivor among the thousands of little nations that flourished between 10,000 BC and 600 AD. To be sure, there have been plenty of small tribes that wanted to live but were trampled by conquering hordes. The rule, however, is that civilizations die of their own disgust with life. Most of the industrial nations are dying, some very quickly. Most of the Muslim world would rather die than accommodate modernity (although some of it may choose to cease to be Islamic).

I do not mean to sound cruel, but the best thing you can do for victims of a dying culture is: Don't be one of them. Individuals who want to live have the option of changing cultures. I do not mean that Israel (or anyone else) should go about killing off enemies in order to satisfy their death wish. God forbid: life is still sacred to us even if it is repugnant to them. Neither do we have to commit suicide in order to accommodate our crazy neighbor's death-wish. We might try to talk him down from the roof, but we are entitled to step aside when he jumps. It is not in our power to persuade suicidal civilizations to carry on living. Ultimately it is our job to contain the damage to ourselves. We cannot help but accept some civilian deaths while engaging an enemy that seeks the maximum number of civilian casualties.

All of this is anathema to liberals, whose premise is that human agency can fix all problems. Enlightenment materialism posited a natural man who either sought self-preservation (Hobbes) or naturally pursued his own best interests (Locke) or was inherently good before corrupted by civilization (Rousseau). Satanic laughter from around the Levant drowns out the squeaky, thin voices of the Enlightenment. One no longer needs to read about it in books. The Middle East has become "How Civilizations Die: The Reality Show."

Israel is the only developed nation (with a fertility rate of three) that loves life sufficiently to bring more children into the world than are required to replace the existing population. Even the US has fallen below replacement as Hispanics assimilate into Western culture and younger evangelicals behave more like their secular peers. Israel today, as at the time of the prophets, remains a unique and irreplaceable light unto the world, the paragon of a nation, the hope of all humanity. Today it is the proof that modern men and women can embrace life and raise themselves above the tragic fate of the peoples since the dawn of man. Anti-semitism is the vicious grudge that death harbors against life. We are tired of refuting the clumsy calumnies that are thrown at Israel each day in the liberal media. Our response is in the imperative: "Choose life!"
