Have Megyan and Me Been Tagged? Why Bob Johnson and Jack Kingston Deserve Our Vote!

If I owned a cat, I have said many times, I would bronze it but there's something about  this cat I like.

Very classy and perceptive !!

My candidate for Georgia's  First Congressional District, Dr. Bob Johnson, has picked up a lot of support from Conservatives throughout the country.

Dr. Bob Johnson, has never run a local campaign, has never sought public office until now and must overcome his opponent's extensive  political career which has given him a lot of local visibility.

Bob knows he is an uphill battle but he is a Ranger and combat veteran of 26 years and is committed to winning.  I believe he will pull it off despite a gaff and a local press which claims to be unbiased but seems to favor his opponent because their investigative reporting  appears surface like.

His opponent also received the backing of trial lawyers and that should not play well among the community's medical profession of which Bob is a respected member.

Bob's opponent also has a lot of personal money as well as a lot of local money he has raised, and can devote to his campaign since he has been in public office a long time and can call in some chits for favors done.

So that is another fact of life Bob must overcome.

Bob is a fighter, has been all his life having risen from a very modest background.  Bob was the first in his family to go to college and he has worked himself up the ladder.

Bob has a charming wife who is a practicing physician and Harvard graduate, and his daughter is following in her mother's footsteps and going to Harvard. Their son is at West Point.  Their other son is considering medicine as well.

Because of  Obamacare and our significant military presence in the region, Bob is well suited to serve in Congress. Additionally, he has been involved in military medicine for a long number of years and is active in Veteran Affairs, another positive . His opponent has no military career.

Bob's pitch is that his opponent has served in office for a long period and  has a more liberal voting record. (Our District is quite Conservative) and his medical career is a significant considering what is going on due to Obamacare.

Time will tell whether the voters will recognize Bob's significant attributes as I believe they should  but I am biased because I have gotten to know Bob and found him to be a very solid person and candidate, smart and with a delightful sense of humor..

I believe Bob can easily fill Jack Kingston's shoes and also believe Jack Kingston is an equally fine candidate with extraordinary credentials and thus, worthy of becoming our next Senator, which would be historic for Savannah.

Jack also has a fine family, a delightful wife and a solid record of constituent service.

In Jack's case, the fact that we have a fast growing port, again, a strong military presence and a region producing a variety of valuable farm products are important reasons why Savannah be represented by one of its own.

As in so many states one large city controls the entire state's destiny and that is true of Atlanta's impact in and on Georgia.

Dear Dick,

This weekend, Politico published an article titled "Election 2014: Eric Cantor's Loss Jolts Landscape," about how the 'Brat Effect' may produce an encore of conservative underdogs beating the establishment candidate machine in the remaining primaries and runoffs this political season. My campaign is highlighted in this article as part of the surge in the conservative movement that has been felt across the country since Eric Cantor's primary loss to David Brat almost two weeks ago.

To keep this momentum going so that I can win the runoff over liberal, establishment Republican and career politician Buddy Carter, donate to my campaign today. Buddy Carter is the Eric Cantor of Georgia's First District. Buddy has gone on record saying ObamaCare is "not that bad," should be "delayed," and is "the law of the land"--exactly the position that President Obama holds. As a state legislator, Buddy voted to increase spending in Georgia by over 80 percent and has supported so many tax increases it would make Nancy Pelosi blush. Let's stand together and make the 'Brat Effect'--this national conservative sensation of conservative underdogs defeating establishment liberal candidates--roll into Washington with enough momentum to begin enacting real change to take back our country.

Please donate $250, $200 $150, $100, $50, or even $25 today. The July 22 runoff is exactly a month from today. We're in the homestretch, and every dollar is put to good use in getting out our conservative message to defeat liberal career politician Buddy Carter.

Thank you,
Bob
In Jack's case there is a significant fund raiser for him Friday,  June 27 at So Ho at 6 PM and I have been trying to raise money for Jack along with many others so I urge those so inclined to send a check message to the rest of  state that Jack is the best candidate for the seat our current Senator is vacating.

Always the pitiful victim to which the West sends billions, the U.N. rakes off fees to support thousands of their well fed, housed employees living in Israel who work in the Palestinian refugee camps that have existed for over 60 years and in order to keep them from gainful work and dignity so they can extort money  and so it goes.

During this same period Israel absorbed millions of its own and taught them to speak and read and write their  language, got them employed, housed and trained them in their military and made them productive citizens.  If Israel ran the U.N. it would be more democratic, cost probably half to run and would be what it was intended to be - a positive force in the world.. But the U.N. is run by the Arab and Muslim world, is anything but Democratic, and exists to extor money from the West and Like Obama blames eveything on GW and others, the U.N. has a single foe - Israel.

What utter nonsense and we tolerate and pay for it. (See 1 below.)

Obama has succeeded.  (See 2 below.)

And apparently we knew! (See 2a below.)

1)Palestinians Play the Victim Again

More than one week into the search for the three Israeli teenagers who were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists, the Palestinians have gone beyond mocking the boys and their families on social media with their three-fingered salute taunt. They are now attempting to use the Israel Defense Forces’ search operation as an excuse to turn the tables on the Jewish state.
Since neither Hamas nor their Fatah partners in the Palestinian government have produced the boys or the captors (despite PA leader Mahmoud Abbas’s promises that his security services are aiding in the hunt), these political parties are beginning what is, in effect, a third intifada, as they send their own children and young people into the streets to resist army searchers, producing confrontations that inevitably lead to violence and casualties. Having then provided the international media with a new set of grievances, the Palestinians now are claiming that those who both applauded the kidnapping and who are actively obstructing the lawful operations aimed at rescuing the boys are the real victims. The only question is how long it will take before the United Nations and the rest of the international community starts mulling resolutions condemning the Israelis for leaving no stone unturned in their quest to find the boys as well as for having the chutzpah to resist terrorism.
To listen to officials like Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki, the kidnapping is either an Israeli hoax or the act of Jewish criminals rather than terrorists. This variant on 9/11 truther myths is a mixture of the traditional imagery of anti-Semitism as well as modern disinformation. But like PLO official Hanan Ashrawi and his boss Abbas, al-Maliki’s real complaint is that the focus on Jews suffering at the hands of Palestinian terrorists helps “turn Israelis from aggressors to victims.” He’s right about that.
Though Israelis are routinely portrayed in the international media as the bullies of the Middle East, the kidnapping and the latest rocket attacks into southern Israel from Hamas-run Gaza (the independent Palestinian state in all-but-name that reminds Israelis what they would get if they withdrew from the West Bank) highlight the fact that it is Israel that remains under siege from its hostile Arab neighbors, not Gaza or the West Bank.
If there is any conscious attempt to manipulate public opinion, it is the efforts of Palestinians to turn a lawful search operation for the boys into a series of unfortunate violent incidents. What is happening is similar to past intifadas during which cynical Palestinian leaders sacrificed their children on the altar of hate for Israel in order to produce victims for the international media to aid the campaign to delegitimize Israel’s right to self-defense.
If the Palestinians don’t want Israeli troops searching their towns and villages and fields for terrorist victims, they have an easy solution to their problem. They can demand that Hamas surrender the terrorists and produce the boys. Even more to the point, if they don’t want the present diplomatic stalemate to continue, which has left Abbas’s PA in control of most Palestinian areas but with Israel retaining the right to guard its security in the West Bank, they can return to the negotiating table and finally accept a peace offer that would, in return for their recognition that Israel is the nation state of the Jewish people and a permanent end to the conflict, gain sovereignty over most of the territory they claim as their own.
But since the Palestinians remain uninterested in pursuing either of those rational options or in being led by people more interested in developing their economy and respecting human rights than in pursuing a century-old futile quest to destroy Israel, they are stuck in their preferred tactics of the past. That is why they are dusting off the old intifada playbook and trying to play the victim instead of ending this crisis or negotiating peace. While much of the international community will probably fall for this ploy, they should not expect the Israeli public to be so simple. After more than 20 years of failed efforts to get the Palestinians to take yes for an answer, the Jewish state is determined to defend itself. Those who attack their children and mock them are not the victims in this story.

A Most Successful President

If one sets out to destroy the core pillars of a society, to incrementally break down the values of a country, and to dishearten its inhabitants, then Barack Hussein Obama has been a sterling success.

He is no amateur; he is not a feckless individual who doesn't know what he is doing.  His actions are deliberate, and his goals are in direct opposition to the vast majority of the American people.  His so-called misdirections are calculated, and his leadership traits are not intended to support America.  He knows exactly what he is doing, and far too many people still don't comprehend or want to believe the machinations of this man and his underlying political arc.

Even some conservative commentators appear to be amazed at the constant replays of actions designed to hurt America.  Why should they be?  Obama is doing what Obama said he would do.  He is transforming this country into the mold he wants – a weakened America, a demoralized American people, and a vast playground that he can ultimately demolish should he become headof the United Nations.

And he is succeeding.

What gives Obama an almost teflon-shield protection is that he is neither a bombastic leader like Hitler nor quite a sociopath like Stalin.  He has mastered the art of being cool.  He gives no one any conversational satisfaction, because he simply disappears from the scene.  His passive resistance is a clever way of disarming the other side, who is not expecting such a response.

He has been tutored well; he is an excellent student, who has far surpassed his mentors.  They would be proud.

But we do not have to be so naive.  It is mandatory that we play the same game as Obama and company, but our net result is to save the country, not destroy it.  We need to tweet one-liners that expose his true intentions; that speak the jargon that will resonate with people.

Stand up and defend against bullying.  That's your mantra.
Then why let Obama bully you in your personal health care decisions?
Hawaii is a lover's paradise.
Did you know that "Hawaii's Obamacare exchange is the most costly in the nation?"

George Will has explained that those "2014 college grads [who] voted Obama ... now suffer for it."

Can't stand adults telling you how to lead your life?
Then why do you let the Democrats and Obama control your ability to get a good job?

If, as a stealth jihadist, Obama has always meant to topple any Middle East stability and isolate Israel, the only democratic outpost in the region, he has been remarkably successful.  Incidents like Benghazi are like little gnats.  He will brush them away; he will concoct the most amazing ingenuous excuses, all the while knowing that far too many American people are essentially uninterested in the details and/or could never actually believe that the most powerful black man in the country is actually a liar.

Of course we believe in immigration reform.
When terrorists come in through our porous borders, all Americans should be concerned.  So why doesn't President Obama follow federal immigration laws?

It is inconceivable to some Americans that a leader could be so nefarious.  His reptilian response to the families of the murdered at Benghazi was evident to all who bothered to study his facial response.  Non-verbal responses are not to be dismissed.  They often are the true indicators of what is going inside a person.  We need to highlight the disingenuousness of Obama.

You may be a lover, not a warrior.
But don't American families of murdered soldiers deserve the truth from their commander-in-chief?

Obama cannot abide the capitalistic urge for independent creation of money; thus, he has been remarkably successful in stymieing business in this country.  He concocts high-sounding responses to an audience that has no understanding of the evils of communism.  As a result, they mindlessly parrot his ideas without even acknowledging that they will be the ones most to suffer.

How much money do you want to make?
Why let President Obama tax so much of it to fill the coffers of the government?
Didn't you work for it?
Shouldn't you keep it?

We have all been to enough dinner events where vacuous comments about the 1% are bandied about, only to sit in amazement at the sheer lunacy of the remarks.  Obama adamantly refuses to open the Keystone Pipeline, which would give America energy independence and throw a monkey wrench into Russian energy domination.  How does a person loyal to American interests do everything that hurts those very interests?  It is not mere stubbornness; it is right in line with his ultimate intentions.  Then we need billboard advertisements that state this outright.

It has been said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.  I beg to disagree.  It is not a mark of insanity if one comprehends the real motives of the person doing the activities.  Consider that Obama is hell-bent on bringing America to its knees.  His is not a hidden agenda.

Who wouldn't be for women's rights?
Then why does President Obama support groups that believe that husbands should abandon wives to rapists?

Iran threatens America with extinction.  Iranian Ayotallah Khamenei has said that “[b]attle and jihad are endless because evil and its front continue to exist. … This battle will only end when the society can get rid of the oppressors’ front with America at the head of it, which has expanded its claws on human mind, body and thought. … This requires a difficult and lengthy struggle and need for great strides.”

A president's main duty is to protect the country from avowed enemies.
So why does President Obama ignore the words of Iran's leaders as they promise to annihilate America?

All dictators are eventually brought down.  But do we want to pattern ourselves after Cuba, whose inhabitants 50 years later still suffer under the Castro regime?

Obama has been particularly astute at dividing this country.  The tension among races is palpable.  The phony war on women is a constant drone that stops any rational conversation based on logic, reason, and sheer evidence.  How do I know?  Obama supports the Muslim Brotherhood, which supports sharia, the most misogynistic law on the face of the planet.  His gay supporters need to see the hanging of their gay brothers in the middle of the town square in Islamic-supported countries.  His black supporters need to be reminded of the slavery that is thriving in these same countries.  Instead, we find Obama and Eric Holder coddling Muslim jihadists while also exhibiting outright racism against white Americans.

And Obama has succeeded, because the "good people are doing nothing."  The Congress has the means to impeach this man for any number of reasons.  They refuse.  Their lack of backbone has far too many Americans psychologically surrendering because they feel overwhelmed by Obama's monstrous outreach via the NSA, the IRS, and ObamaCare.

Obama and his think-masters have rightly focused on the young and impressionable of this country, and they continually bombard them with tweets and one-liners – particularly effective with this group.

President Obama promised free health care.
But did you know that you have to pay a premium that is quite expensive?
How is this free?

Thus, wordsmiths need to change their approach to this audience.  We need to work with symbols and one-liners that fight back, and fight back hard.  We need to utilize the same strategies that our opponents use.  We cannot give up the good fight.

Obama promised people they could keep their doctors.
But did you know that under ObamaCare, cancer patients cannot see the cancer treatment physicians who previously helped them?  Also, they can no longer go to the cancer treatment hospitals that gave them quality care!
What right does the government have to tell people where to obtain medical care?

In 1770, Edmund Burke wrote that "when bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall, one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle."  In 1867, John Stuart Mill stated that "[b]ad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing."

A change in tactics is critical because, quite frankly, the November 2014 is the last chance to save this country from a downward trajectory that will radically and adversely change the landscape of America.

2a) Kurdish authorities tell news outlet that they passed along intelligence about the ISIS plans months ago to US, UK - who then did nothing.
By Tova Dvorin

The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant's (ISIS) takeover of Iraq earlier this month took the world by storm, as the successive fall of several major cities in the Sunni-dominated northwest left Iraqis fleeing and world leaders shaken.

But what if the blitz military conquest could have been prevented altogether?

Kurdish intelligence reported news of a strategic alliance and pact between Islamist groups to topple Mosul and other major Iraqi cities with ISIS's help as far back as January, the Telegraph reported late Sunday.

Shortly after the fall of Fallujah to ISIS, an informant reportedly stepped into a Kurdish intelligence office to reveal the news that ISIS officials had networked with remnants of Saddam Hussein's regime and former Hussein deputy Izzat al-Douri to plan a large-scale invasion.

But while Kurdish handlers ran immediately to the US and Britain with the information, the West allegedly sat back and did nothing.

"We had this information then, and we passed it on to your (British) government and the US government," Rooz Bahjat, a senior lieutenant to Lahur Talabani, head of Kurdish intelligence, told the Telegraph. "We used our official liaisons."

"We knew exactly what strategy they were going to use, we knew the military planners," he added. "It fell on deaf ears."

He warned that the ISIS leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was now a greater threat to western countries than Osama bin Laden had been in 2001.

But the West may be responsible for more than just the current waves of ISIS takeovers.

Both Bahjat and Talabani stated that the West's lack of resolve to tie up all the loose ends in the 2003 invasion caused the current crisis on the grand scale - despite a common criticism that the invasion itself caused the crisis.

And the future does not look promising, they said.
"[ISIS leader] Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is now something bin Laden could only dream of being," Bahjat said. "The sleep of reason produces monsters. It's the lack of resolve in the West that is the most important thing."

"Reason has been sleeping and now we have lots of monsters," he added.

Cleaning up the mess?
ISIS has been beaten back slightly from the northwestern front since it first attacked earlier this month, as forces were driven out of Jalula after a brief takeover and resistance has fomented near Baiji and outside of Tal Afar.

However, ISIS forces continue to descend upon Baghdad as of Monday morning, as confused fighting continues in a steady line toward the capital city (see map at link).

The US's involvement in the fighting continues to be the source of ongoing controversy, with many claiming recent efforts to help Iraqi forces drive off the ISIS invasion are an utter failure.

US President Barack Obama has waffled back and forth on the American position on the crisis. Last Friday, he committed to not sending troops to Iraq - only to send over 500 marines, dozens of helicopters, and the aircraft carrier George HW Bush into the Persian Gulf on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, he ruled out American airstrikes on ISIS, while hinting this was a possibility in last Thursday’s speech.

As of Monday morning, US Secretary of State John Kerry and his team have landed in Baghdad to help clean up the mess, spokeswoman Jen Psaki stated as of 11:30 a.m. IST. Kerry is part of a delegation of 300 "advisers" to Iraqi forces.

Meanwhile, Kurdish authorities say the mission has little hopes of making a difference.

"I have completely lost hope in America after listening to President Barack Obama," Talabani said. "I blame him personally for what has happened in Syria, in the Middle East, in Iraq at the moment."

"I have no hope any more."
