COMMUNITY SERVICE IS VERY REWARDING SOMETIMES!

A guy enters a Roman Catholic Church confessional booth in D.C.

He tells the Priest, "Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. Last night, I beat the hell out of a Democrat."

The Priest responds, "My son, I'm here to forgive your sins, not to discuss your community service."

If Christians in the West do not raise a finger in protest over the slaughter of  Coptics by Arabs and Muslims and all those sanctimonious Women Righters' do not give a damn for the despicable treatment of their own gender at the hands of radical Islamists, why would kidnapping of three Israelis, out for a day's walk, change attitudes towards Israel or its conflict with Palestinians?

And then, what about the poor Marine being held in a Mexican jail? Do you really think the Obama Administration is doing all they can for his release?  Hell, they are too busy destroying evidence pertaining to the: "There’s not a smidgen of corruption in the IRS."

Perpetrators of heinous, barbarous acts and corruption believe the tide is with them because the leaderless West is exhausted by constantly being called upon to stand against the challenges of the evil tides that, one day, could consume them.

That is the lesson one must draw from history and those who swallowed the "peace in our time" ruse! (See 1 below.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------1) Kidnapping Hasn’t Altered West’s View of Conflict or the Palestinians

Another day went by without any word about the whereabouts of the three Israeli teenagers kidnapped by Hamas terrorists last week. While the lack of any evidence that the three are still alive or a ransom demand is deeply troubling, the Israel Defense Forces have conducted extensive searches throughout the West Bank as well as seeking to exact a severe price from the terrorist group. The IDF has arrested scores of Hamas operatives as well as taken into custody 50 of the terrorists freed in the 2012 swap in which the Jewish state traded over 1,000 prisoners for kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit.

These sweeps have caused IDF commanders to claim they have inflicted a powerful blow against Hamas’ infrastructure. Re-arresting some of the prisoners traded for Shalit also allows Israel to make a crucial point. Since the object of the abduction of the three boys was to force Israel to release even more terrorists — including some, like those in the Shalit deal, with blood on their hands — this move is an attempt to demonstrate that the kidnapping has backfired. But the boasts from both Israeli politicians and military officials that Hamas is already the loser in this affair may be more intended to boast their citizens’ morale than an objective analysis of the situation. While Hamas may have been dealt a setback that makes it less able to operate in the West Bank, unless the Israelis are prepared to stand their ground on demands for release of the Hamas prisoners, the Islamist group will still be able to claim victory. That’s especially true if the boys aren’t found. If more terrorists walk free as a result of this affair or if, as appears likely, international public opinion begins to swing back to the Palestinians after a week during which the kidnapping engendered more sympathy than usual for the Israelis.

As Raphael Aren wrote in the Times of Israel today, the IDF operations have sought to de-legitimize the Fatah-Hamas unity government in the eyes of the world by pointing out the involvement of Hamas in terrorism. But as Israel has learned to its sorrow many times in the past, there are severe limits as to how much leeway the world is prepared to grant it when it comes to self-defense. Though the kidnapping has been roundly, if sometimes belatedly condemned by world leaders, none have drawn the appropriate conclusion from the spectacle of a partner in the Palestinian government conducting terrorist operations. Neither the U.S. nor the European Union has halted aid to the PA in spite of the clear indication that rather than being absorbed by the supposedly more moderate Fatah, Hamas has remained steadfast in its support for terrorism. Just as telling are the calls from Washington and European capitals for Israel to show “restraint”in its efforts to strike back at the terrorists or to find the boys.

While the West will tolerate some Israeli efforts aimed at hindering Hamas operations as well as those focused on recovery of the kidnapping victims, it’s clear that none will endorse anything that would go beyond those limited measures. Though the U.S. is preoccupied with the crisis in Iraq, there is little doubt the Obama administration would lash out at Israel if it expelled senior Hamas members from the West Bank to Gaza. Nor would it stand by if the Israelis put the squeeze on PA leader Mahmoud Abbas to make good on his pledges to help find the boys or in any way punished Hamas’ Fatah partners.

While the Israeli government may think the kidnapping — and the broad support for it among the Palestinian people — ought to inform the world’s view of the conflict, neither the Obama administration nor its European allies share that opinion. From their frame of reference, the kidnapping is just an annoyance, albeit a painful one, that Israelis must put up with. Barring a swift resolution to this incident, it is likely pressure will start to build in the international community for the Israelis to stand down and begin releasing the re-arrested Shalit swap prisoners. Indeed, already voices are being raised claiming that Israel is engaging in “collective punishment” against the Palestinians in its anti-Hamas campaign. While the charge is specious, the willingness to turn the tables on the Israelis and to treat Hamas and its supporters as the victims reflects the prejudicial atmosphere in which the Jewish state must operate.

Contrary to the expectations of some in Israel, the bring back ourboys hasht ag social media campaign hasn’t really caught fire outside of the Jewish community. Nor has the rival three shalits hash tag — a phrase that demonstrates the broad support for terrorism among Palestinians — influenced either the U.S. or international public opinion to cause them to question their belief that the Israelis are the real obstacle to peace. By raising the ante with Israel in this manner, Hamas has shown the Palestinians that they are the true standard-bearers in the ongoing conflict with the Jews. Unless the IDF can find the boys and the Netanyahu government sticks to its guns in the months ahead on prisoner releases, Hamas will be able claim victory despite the blows they have absorbed.

2)   Enough! They MUST Be Stopped!

)It has become a daily frightening occurrence, hearing politicians, commentators, pundits, and stunned Americans say, “That's outrageous!” “He can't do that!” “No way!” “It's against federal law!” “They have no legal authority to force us to do that!”  These comments are in response to the daily unprecedented out-of-control tyranny handed down by Obama and his operatives.  We are talking arrogance with a capital A coming out of the Obama administration.

For example: the GOP was moving too slow in caving to Obama's amnesty scheme, so Obama said, Heck with it, I'll bypass everyone and make it happen. Obama sent a clarion call interpreted around the world to mean that if you can get your kids to the U.S., the kids can stay.  In essence, Obama has made illegal aliens winners of his Open Borders Lottery: free food, health care, legal assistance, and education – winning more free goodies than are available to American kids.  Like a game show announcer, I expect an administration official to enthusiastically say to illegals, “But wait, there's more...A NEW CAR!”
Around one thousand illegals arrive daily.  Over 47,000 have arrived thus far, with an estimated 90,000 to arrive by September 30.
Everyone and anyone (gang members, drug dealers and other criminals) are illegally moving to America, greeted with open arms by the Obama administration.  Americans who are paying attention are well aware of the impending devastatingly negative impact Obama's “y'all come” policy will have on our structure as a nation, our economy, and our national security.
As with every other extremely arrogant action by Obama, from blatantly lying about ObamaCare to releasing the Taliban five, while everyone expresses disbelief, outrage, and concern, nothing happens.  The same is the case concerning the disaster happening at our border.  Despite bipartisan outrage, the tsunami of illegals continues.
Then there is the absurd lie from the IRS that Lerner's e-mails related to the targeting of Tea Party and conservative groups were lost due to a computer crash.  Do the people in this administration believe they can say and do anything they please and get away with it?  The answer is yes.  As I stated, the remarkable arrogance of this administration is becoming legendary.
However, what I find most extraordinarily arrogant and insidious is this administration's relentlessly focused efforts to mandate political correctness and implement its socialist/progressive agenda via government overreach.  The feds have stepped in to try to force the Washington Redskins to change their name.  Talk about focusing on the minor while ignoring the major.
Think about that, folks.  Iraq is falling apart.  A gazillion illegals are invading our country.  Terrorism is back on the rise.  Food prices are through the roof.  Forty-seven million Americans are on food stamps.  Ninety million Americans are unemployed.  ObamaCare is a job-killing and health care disaster.  And what does the Obama administration focus on?  Taking extraordinary measures to force the Redskins to change their name.  Unbelievable.
My fellow Americans, when is enough enough from this horrifyingly deceitful, conniving, anti-American, and evil bunch in D.C., who are holding our great nation hostage?  The mainstream media will never place the best interest of America above Obama.  The first black president is their best hope for ramming their dreamed-of socialist/progressive agenda down the throats of the American people.  I get that.
It is becoming increasingly clear that the GOP, Democrats, and the MSM are in solidarity with the concept of an ever-increasing big-government America.
Obama and his operatives are so emboldened to lie and do whatever they please because there has been no major push-back or effective effort to politically stop them.
Therefore, the last hope for America as founded is us: you, me, the Tea Party.  We must vote out GOP traitors and Obama operatives and replace them with conservatives.  Period!
And another thing – along with supporting conservatives such as Chris McDaniel in his June 24 runoff in Mississippi, we must continue rallying around, supporting and encouraging our handful of fighters in D.C.: Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Mike Lee, Congressman Trey Gowdy, and others.
Mary and I are driving from Florida to Biloxi, Mississippi to meet up with our Conservative Campaign Committee team.  We will help push Chris McDaniel over the top
Folks, together, we can do this.

2a) Is It Time for a Special Prosecutor?

The anniversary of the Watergate burglary arrived this week, along with the disquieting revelation that it’s not just disgraced former Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner who’s taking the Fifth. Her email is clamming up, too.
More than a year into the controversy over the tax agency’s targeting of conservative non-profit groups, IRS officials casually told congressional investigators last week that a 2011 computer crash caused thousands of sought-after Lerner emails to disappear.
So, can the mess at the IRS now objectively be called an Obama administration scandal?
Hillary Clinton seemed to acknowledge as much. “I think that anytime the IRS is involved,” she told Fox News host Greta Van Susteren, “for many people it’s a real scandal.”
White House officials don’t concede the point. “You’ve never heard of a computer crashing before?” presidential spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters. “The far-fetched skepticism expressed by some Republican members of Congress,” he added, “I think is not at all surprising and not particularly believable.”
With its unprecedented abuse of executive power, no modern scandal was ever like Watergate, but this was a passable imitation of Richard Nixon’s press secretary Ron Ziegler, who said two days after five suspects were arrested in the Watergate break-in that “certain elements may try to stretch this beyond what it is.”
President Obama himself hasn’t been above channeling Nixon, either. When the story first broke that the IRS was targeting groups with “Tea Party” or “Patriot” in their names, he told reporters aboard Air Force One that these machinations were all the work of a few rogue agents in an Ohio IRS office -- “two Dilberts in Cincinnati” was the president’s phrase.
After it turned out that the Washington office was actually calling the shots, Obama didn’t change his story. Yes, some “bone-headed decisions” were made, he told Fox News host Bill O’Reilly -- but it didn’t entail “even a smidgen of corruption.”
Perhaps that’s true. But the question is how the American people are supposed to discern the truth. One way to get those missing emails would be with a federal inspector general complete with subpoena powers. Another -- and God help me for saying this -- would be a special prosecutor.
Watergate begat the independent counsel system, enacted by law as a post-Watergate reform by a Congress burned by the memory of the “Saturday Night Massacre” -- Nixon’s firing of one attorney general after another until he found someone willing to sack special prosecutor Archibald Cox. It was only a temporary victory for the beleaguered president, but it convinced most Americans -- and not just Democrats -- that the Justice Department couldn’t be trusted to investigate executive branch wrongdoing.
Problems with the new reform arose from the start, however. Theoretically, special prosecutors were subject to judicial oversight, but in practice they were on their own. With no bosses, no time constraints, and no limitations on the scope of their probe, special prosecutors tended to turn into Inspector Javiers -- if the villain of “Les Misérables” had had an unlimited budget and no superior.
As the abuse of executive power gave way to the abuse of prosecutors with more power than British kings wielded at the time of the American Revolution, it became clear that the reform-minded liberals swept into power in the post-Watergate Democratic landslide of 1974 didn’t actually know more than the Framers.
It took a while for Democrats to fathom the problem, which was that many of the independent counsels appointed in the 1980s lack the trait known as “prosecutorial discretion.” This was understandable: many of them had never been prosecutors. And as independent counsels they contended with none of the normal checks and balances in courthouse politics -- because they never had to face the voters. Accountable to no one, they didn’t balance the alleged transgressions of their target with more serious cases -- because they didn’t have other cases.
“A one-case lawyer with nobody to question what is done in the investigation is a dangerous person," observed noted Washington attorney Jacob Stein, who served as both an independent counsel -- he didn’t indict -- and a lawyer representing a client caught up in a notorious example, the investigation of prominent Republican Theodore B. Olson.
A top legal official in the Reagan administration, Olson was investigated by a zealous special prosecutor named Alexia Morrison. Tasked with determining whether Olson lied to Congress over an EPA decision (he hadn’t), she took 28 months -- and several million taxpayers’ dollars -- before simply deciding to do nothing.
Olson responded by challenging the constitutionality of the law. The case went all the way to the Supreme Court, before Olson lost. But he left us with a tidy summation of the distorted incentives in the system: “If you are given a fishing license which has the name of a fish on it, and you don’t come back with that fish, you’ve failed.”
For years, Republicans complained that congressional Democrats were abusing the law by demanding independent counsels for Republicans in the executive branch who thwarted their policy goals. Every Republican had their favorite horror story. One of the most egregious involved Lawrence Walsh. His zealous Iran-contra probe produced an October surprise -- the indictment of former Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger and sliming of GOP presidential candidate George H.W. Bush a week before the 1992 presidential election.
For the better part of two decades these GOP complaints fell on deaf ears. All that changed when Bill Clinton was elected president, and congressional Republicans began using the independent counsel statute -- with its absurdly low standard of proof for triggering a special prosecutor -- against administration officials. Initially, Attorney General Janet Reno defended the statute, but as the 1990s rolled by Democrats began compiling their own list of fanatical special prosecutors.
Even before Kenneth Starr brought the Clinton presidency to a virtual standstill, an independent counsel named David M. Barrett spent $21 million and 10 years investigating HUD secretary Henry Cisneros for not telling the FBI about payments he’d made as a private citizen to a former mistress. In the end, he succeeded in jailing his star witness -- the girlfriend -- for fudging on housing loan forms. She is the only person ever known to do prison time for this offense.
Then there was Donald C. Smaltz, who spent four years and $17.5 million prosecuting Secretary of Agriculture Mike Espy for allegedly accepting $35,000 worth of gifts from agribusiness interests. Espy was acquitted by a disgusted and perplexed jury.
In the midst of this kind of thing, even before Ken Starr’s far-reaching investigation into dodgy Clinton real estate deals in Arkansas unearthed a White House intern named Monica Lewinsky, Democrats began seeing the problem. “They’re criminalizing policy differences!” Clinton political adviser James Carville complained to me one night on the phone. I replied that Republicans had been making this same complaint for years, to little effect.
Eventually, the law was allowed to lapse during the Clinton administration. Many of us thought this was a good thing. Now, many executive branch observers are second-guessing themselves. Technically, this is probably third-guessing.
The current scandal has featured lying to Congress and stonewalling, and now missing evidence. The very fact that it appears to involve the Internal Revenue Service infuriates Republicans, as it should. Once upon a time, liberals were outraged by this sort of behavior, too -- one in particular.
On July 27, 1974, the Democratic-controlled House Judiciary Committee completed work on three articles of impeachment. The first informational item in Article II included the charge that the president had caused “in violation of the constitutional rights of citizens income tax audits or other income tax investigations to be initiated or conducted in a discriminatory manner.”
Article I accused the president of “withholding relevant and material evidence or information from lawfully authorized investigative officers and employees of the United States.”
Forty years later, one of the House Judiciary Committee staff attorneys who helped prepare that brief is pondering presidential ambitions of her own. That Democrat, Hillary Rodham Clinton, was asked about the current IRS matter this week by Van Susteren. While Clinton didn’t call for a special prosecutor, she didn’t minimize the situation, either.
“It’s important to get back to very professional inquiries that can’t be accused of politicizing things,” she said. “Let’s try and find out what the facts are.”

3)Democrats invited three EPA heads to testify in congress a couple days ago, to convince them to act on Global Warming.  Rep Jeff Sessions (R – AL) took them to task.  Keep in mind there were there at the invitation of democrats.  Sessions quoted Obama, saying that the earth has been heating faster than anyone predicted 5 years ago, etc.

Sessions: “The President on November 14, 2012 said, ‘The temperature around the globe is increasing faster than was predicted, even ten years ago.’ Then on May 29, 2013 [President Obama] said, ‘We also know that the climate is warming faster than anybody anticipated five or ten years ago,” said Alabama Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions, who then asked the former EPA heads to raise their hands if they agreed with these statements.
“The record will reflect no one raised their hands,” Sessions said.

Of course, the media won’t carry Obama caught in yet another lie.  Obama lying has become so commonplace that it is no longer newsworthy.
