We listened to the president's acceptance speech on CNN to get their angle. The three commentators were sort of speechless after Trump ended but then they mounted their bias saddles and started by telling us about the fireworks display and White House Setting  etc. If anyone listened to the speech is was a good one.  He took appropriate jabs at Biden, laid out his case for what he would hope to accomplish in a second term and highlighted the extreme differences between himself and Biden and the two party's agendas.

Overall, I believe the RNC Convention was effective, informative and professional and was light years ahead of what the Democrats produced and conveyed at their convention..

Trump's "converted to Judaism daughter" is a true beauty and made a compelling speech and was up front about her dad's unorthodox methods , tweeting and language and reminded the audience he should be defined by his accomplishments which have been many and in a brief period as president.

I believe the rioting, the behaviour of the thugs,who have taken over peaceful protests and the various slogans which have been used to define various efforts, has created a backlash and actually done harm to their cause; turned off a lot of voters and reminded many more their actions and messaging are the antithesis of what America and Americans are about.

Newt had a "Contract With America" and was vilified by the establishment. I keep a copy on my desk to remind me how benign and practical it was and it was eventually embraced by Bill Clinton and probably helped to get him re-elected.

Newt now lays out for us Trump's Contract for which he too is being slammed.  As Trump said last night, 'we must be doing something right.'
