The mass media did complain about the Harley Motor cyclists who did not wear masks.
At least they have their priorities in order.

Here is one scenario that could become real. Several vaccines will be shown to work, and be ready to distribute to emergency workers by late October or early November, with everyone else by early January. Durham indicts a whole group of top Obama people-very likely to happen in my view after what Yates said in her appearance in Senate hearing, the economy shows big improvement in Q3, the EU shows some growth, stock market hits record highs, unemployment in October drops to 7-8%, Biden looks like the senile bumbler he is in the debates and makes more racist comments, virus looks to be deeply declining, kids are back in school in most of the country by October 15 and nil infections, Trump executive orders in effect giving $400, 7.5% pay raise with payroll tax cut, and relief from eviction and Trump gets elected. I am not saying all that is going to happen, but it is a real possibility.
If that were to happen, then interest rates rise, money that was hiding from danger pours out of the bond and gold markets into the stock market, bonds and gold lose value when the vaccines are approved, and the S&P hits 3400 or more. Big investors jump in when Trump elected and fear of high taxes on capital gains goes away. Stock market rallies further into 2021. There is a possibility this does not happen and Biden wins and vaccines do not prove out, but my gut bet is the first scenario I laid out above. If that happens, you will get creamed if you are in bonds or gold. On the other hand, if Biden wins, you will get creamed if you are in the stock market. We will know a lot more by early September when indictments will have been brought by Durham, and the $400 and tax cuts take effect, and by late October when vaccines will be far along in trials to the point we will start to hear about how that is going, jobs numbers for August and September will be out and indictors of economic growth, or not, for Q3 will be clear here, and in in the EU. There is a good chance unemployment will be back down to 7% by end of October, lower than it was in November 2012. That is when to make a decision as to be in stocks or cash, or short term bonds. Right now there are so many unknowns that any decision is just a guess.
In the US credit card debt is down 11%-$85 billion, since February. While many asked for forbearance on student and credit card debt, in the end they did not take the deferral and paid down their balances. Late payments are down 1/3 due to consumers using the $1200 + the $600 a week to reduce debt. Ignore the press headlines that 80% can’t pay their minimum payment. It is a lie as we see from the real data. As debt went down, savings went up to new record high levels, putting consumers in very good shape generally, which bodes well for when unemployment declines and people are out spending again. There are now tighter lending standards by banks, so we will not have a debt crunch for consumers despite all the frantic and fake stories in the media about evictions and debt. The anecdotes about people starving without the $600 will continue in the press, but it is pure anti-Trump political rhetoric. People were getting evicted before the virus, and some people needed food bank help. Nobody is starving. One TV station interviewed a single mother who complained she did not have money to pay rent. Then you find out she is single with not much education, and has seven kids. Duh. My point about self-responsibility. Who has seven kids today. Only poor people who figure you the taxpayer will pay for her kids.
July employment was better than expected with industrial up 26,000, construction mainly residential up 20,000, healthcare mainly for elective procedures and office e visits restarting, up 126,000, retail and food service now reopening up 502,000. However hotels were only up 2800. That industry remains in depression, and will remain so at least well into 2022 for business non-drive to properties. Now that the $400 is in place along with payroll tax elimination, August and September unemployment will drop materially. Combined with a drop in the surge in hospitalizations, and consumers will feel better and spend. More homes will sell. Construction will ramp up, as will factory production. There will be economic momentum going into the election. My gut says everything just shifted.
There is estimated to be $2.5 Trillion on US corporate balance sheets now. As the economy stabilizes that cash is going to be used to do acquisitions. It has begun, and will ramp up as the cash is no longer needed as reserves for a possible economic collapse. Microsoft buying Tick Tok is just one example.
Three major events just happened. Yates threw Comey under the bus in the hearing, and it is clear she knows a lot more than she has so far admitted to. Rumors are that Strozk has flipped and possibly others, as we see Yates now trying to look like she is not at fault. The onion is being peeled away quickly now. The second event was the response by Biden to the black reporter asking if he ever had a cognitive test. His response was appalling, and similar to, if you vote for Trump you are not black. He then topped it off with his Latinos are diverse, but not blacks comment. Biden remains in hiding, and it is very apparent to most why he is not allowed out on his own. The debates will be a disaster for Biden. None of the mainstream media TV covered the gaffes. They are covering up for Biden just as Facebook is denying Trump advertising time.
In spite of the press and social media doing their best to help Biden, the tide has turned so long as Trump does not put his foot in his mouth for a while. The poll gap has narrowed materially. The third event was the October surprise in August. It was the Dems blew it on renewal of unemployment payments and eviction relief, and phase 4, and Trump signed his executive orders and seized the initiative, and left Pelosi in a box. Pelosi and the press foolishly predicted Trump would be forced to fold on phase 4 funding. The Supreme Court decision on DACCA gave Trump executive powers he did not think he had, and that decision changed the entire negotiation in favor of Trump. Nobody realized what the Supremes had really done by deciding that Obama had the executive power to create DACCA, and the precedent that set. Roberts did not think through what he was voting for, and the precedent. Someone in the White House figured it out, and now Trump has power he never knew he had. You can count on the lawsuits from the Dems. Pelosi already claims it is just an illusion. Either people will receive checks or not and they will not get evicted or they will. We will know that in a week. It may be that Dem governors refuse to pay the extra $100 of the $400, and then let’s see them defend not paying.
So Trump issued orders to help with extended unemployment, and no evictions, student loans deferral, and payroll tax. Pelosi and Schumer will get someone to sue and say no you can’t do that, which will look like the Dems are denying help to voters. Check mate. Pelosi never thought he could do this . He now has her trapped, and can take his time to agree to anything else. Biden is also check mated. What is he going to say-Trump should not have helped the unemployed. Their whole claim that Trump does not care just went down the toilet. The election just shifted. Trump will now have the momentum, and the riots in Portland just feed his narrative that Dem run cities are the problem. The talking point is no law and order with Dems. Pelosi will say he did not do enough, and they need to fund NY and LA etc. The voters in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan are not gong to want to fund Illinois, or DeBozzo and Cuomo wasteful spending with their hard earned tax money. There is still $100 billion unspent for schools top reopen. There are still billions remaining in PPP. I watched Pelosi on Sunday on Fox. She flat out lied as usual about what happened. She still thinks she can push Trump to a vastly bigger deal. She will not win this one.
Pay attention to the name Steven Schrage. He is a very credible former state dept staffer and academic who, after he left State, went to Cambridge to work on a PhD, and worked with Stephan Halpert , the spy in Cambridge who set up Carter Page. Schrage, however, was the good guy, and he just released a tape of Halpert saying Flynn was going down two days BEFORE the FBI had the interview that did in Flynn. Halpert was paid close to $700,000 by the Obama administration for what was supposed to be academic research-an amount unheard of for academic work. Durham has all of this and Schrage has tied the dots together for Durham. He is going public to expose all of this since it has not yet come out. Halpert according to Schrage was also the connection to the reporter at the Washington Post who broke the Flynn story. Schrage had the smoking gun tape everyone was seeking. Maria Bartiromo broke the story and played the tape. In addition, Lindsay Graham is suggesting Comey is now being blamed by several insiders as the person at the center of the FISA warrant. Comey is either cooperating or going down. Durham is about to interview Brennan, the puppet master. Durham is now at the top end and final interview, and he is almost ready to issue indictments. As I have been saying for months-Durham is going to blow the election apart, my guess is right after Labor Day. Biden was involved, but not criminally.
The next four weeks through right after Labor day are going to change everything. My three events above, plus Durham issuing indictments . My gut says Trump is getting reelected.
The US press tried to say Sweden was wrong not shutting down. As usual they put out false news. Sweden had an 8.6% decline in GDP in Q2. The rest of the EU negative 12.1%. Sweden had a lot more deaths per population. Now it is known that the reason for the deaths is Sweden rations full medical treatment for very old people in nursing homes for these conditions and in essence lets them die. In fact the death toll was lower than in UK, Spain, and Belgium that had full lockdowns. If you deduct the deaths in nursing homes Sweden had few deaths. Now there is no surge in Sweden like there is in other EU nations that had lockdowns. Bottom line is, Sweden did better than many EU countries, and is doing relatively fine now, never having had a lockdown. They told people to take personal responsibility, and they did. We will see where this is by year end, but so far Sweden did the right thing despite what you hear and read in the mainstream media.
The Senkaku Islands are Japanese. China is trying to claim they are Chinese. China this week is pushing their claim and this could get very ugly very fast. Chinese fishing boats, which are likely mostly naval vessels are claiming the right to be in territorial waters of the islands. Japan will challenge that and the US has an agreement to help defend Japanese territory. Watch this one. If China gets away with this they will go for Taiwan next. Abe will be very unlikely to let China encroach. China is pushing the envelope across Asia now and it is getting dangerous.
In the Dem Congressional primary in upper east side NYC it was 45 days and counting to determine a winner. A judge decided to let them count ballots that arrived late, and had no postmark to even prove they were mailed or real. It was the exact mess that Trump keeps saying will happen with mail in voting, and why we would maybe never know who really won. Imagine this across 150 million ballots. Once Trump said they should rerun the primary, magically it got decided right away, but the lawsuits started also. There is still no final certified winner. And this is what the Dems are demanding we go to so they can ballot harvest, get judges to declare invalid ballots valid, and other mischief. The lawsuits would be ongoing with no decision who really won. After what we saw just now in NYC primary and the ballot harvesting in CA in 2018, mail in voting is a Dem plan to pack the count. Why else are they so adamant about it. Ballot harvesting should be outlawed
In one Chicago suburb they voted to let black kids get first priority on return to school. Excuse me, isn’t this illegal discrimination. Universities have initiated a requirement that all students need to take a “racial equality” subject to graduate. That really helps them get a good job. In fact, today a college degree is purely an entry ticket to a better job. It no longer, in many cases, indicates the kid learned anything useful. Employers are finding the grads need a lot of training since college did not teach them to think objectively nor in depth, nor do they have real skills in writing, or even in several key subjects like economics or history. But they sure are trained to protest and make demands, and to think that the US is a bad country. The 1619 project in grade schools and high schools is now teaching that the US began in 1619, and not 1776, and it teaches we are a racist nation built on the backs of slaves who made everything possible. It has been declared totally false by every prize winning historian, but school boards still buy it, and have it taught, because it lets them think they are not racist. Instead it makes them complicit in misinforming and indoctrinating kids. If you have any sway with your school board you need to stop 1619.
Now there is a lawsuit in Seattle by protestors claiming they need to buy protective gear to protect themselves from cops so taxpayers should pay for it, and cops should be barred from using any force or riot control gear. These are the same protestors who burned and looted stores and attacked cops. There must be something in the air or water in the northwest that makes these nuts really insane. Now the Feds are mostly gone from Portland, and still they tried to kill cops, and tried to burndown a precinct, and police union headquarters. Even the mayor now had to admit the truth, the riots had nothing to do with Feds or black lives. It is just outright anarchy. What will CNN, NBC, NYT, WAPO, and ABC say now with the mayor saying it is attempted murder, not peaceful protest. The longer it goes on in Portland and Seattle, the better for Trump and Republicans. They just need to play ads with the videos of the riots and the mayor saying it is attempted murder, or of surveillance tapes showing a black guy shooting someone in broad daylight in NYC last week, and say to the nice little suburban women, thanks to the Dems, go ahead and defund cops, this is coming to your community. Willie Horton.
If you want to know how despicable the teachers union is here is a true story from a friend who was principal of a high school many years ago. A kid took LSD and thought he was Batman so jumped off the school roof. My friend the principal called a meeting of all of the teachers to discuss what happened to try to prevent any further such incidents and deaths. The teachers union refused to attend claiming the contract only allowed him to call one such meeting per month, and they already had one that month. He resigned soon after that. That is what the teachers union is all about. True story. The kids are just pawns and collateral damage. And Pelosi wants to get them more money. Teachers unions are disgusting, and destroying our future, by refusing to allow in-person teaching. And you wonder why people are moving out of cities and putting their kids in charter and private schools. Parents move where there are good schools, not union intransigence.

a) Chicago's Mayor's last name is Lightfoot but she is mis-named. She should be known as "Empty Head."
b) BLM's continue to loot and burn in honor of Floyd.
c) Looters and thugs, who riot and attack police, are now able to post a zero bond to get out of jail so they can return to their "jobs" - see "b" above.
d) De-funding police is comparable to America de-enlisting the military after we are attacked by China.
e) Get rid of the Presidential Debates so voters can gain insight into who among the two candidates is qualified.
f) Biden just proved he can ride a bike. Think about how much we can save by getting rid of the various limousines most presidents use. But where is the platform for the Secret Service to stand on?
g) Biden promised he will select a woman as his VP. I guess he will now lose all those voters who fall into other sexual categories. He just insulted blacks. Whose next?
h) Crime is way up in most of America's major cities and they are all run by Democrats who also favor taking guns away from their citizens. No police, no guns to protect your families and property. This should appeal to voters.
i) Capitalism offers choice but Democrats oppose choice when it comes to education.
j) The more protesters destroy businesses the higher unemployment levels and the more we can blame Trump
k) If we keep schools closed the more time students have to loot so when they return to school they will be better dressed.
l) Every racial segment of society should be allowed their own anthem.
m) Obama told us 'you did not build that' and Nadler tells us broken windows and burned out buildings were committed by a myth.
n) Pelosi and Schumer never heard about half a loaf.
o) Physical attacks on religious facilities, wholesale rejection of religion and disallowing congregants to assemble is understandable since they do not contribute to the national treasury just America's declining morals, whereas, casinos , liquor stores pay taxes but have little connection to our nation's morals and scruples.
p) We do not randomly send out unsolicited gun registration forms in the mail but we do ballots. How do you explain this?
