Dick,

Slight correction. Yadin is our nephew—not our cousin.

Thanks for posting.

I am writing this letter to you regretfully. Never did I think I would have to write a letter to the president of my alma mater about the impact of her actions… https://x.com/billackman/status/1720987581549080965?s=51&t=UKXO38RhBpK5y4MY5xV34g

Initially, Fascist Islamists may gain an edge with their propaganda messages but eventually, as it dawns on the brainless snow flakes, that these message are based on lies the tide will turn but it takes time. I say this because, Universities and Colleges chose to handpick their radical student bodies along racial lines  and favored certain students from specific areas where the population is hateful, ignorant and prone to embrace Marxist concepts.

I am not suggesting we let them burn, parade and yell unanswered nor should we tolerate their hateful anti-Semitic garbage but when you have feckless political leadership in The White House, backed by our pitiful biased mass social media and critical and muzzled  Federal Agencies there is little one can do other than stand up and make sure your voice is heard, reject being bullied and intimidated.  You can also withdraw all financial contributions to these institutions.

But then what do I know.

That said, I listened to Maria Bartiromo interview some top people in the know today (Sunday 1/5) and hear is what I heard.

1) One of the top Congressional investigators is about to issue 12 subpoenas against the Biden clan.  They are based on documents, checks and evidence showing a variety of alleged corruption including money laundering, tax evasion and direct payments to influence behaviour and this from our gravest adversary - agencies under the direct control of the Chinese Government.

Ten percent of the total went directly to "The Big Man" who has claimed he had nothing to do with his son's business dealings or knew anything about them. All obvious lies.
Furthermore, Hunter Biden constructed an extraordinary system of hiding these transactions using numerous names and accounts etc.

2) The former Secretary of State stated we were in grave danger as a nation because of Biden's open border policies and noted four of our embassies were now shuttered, the world was in turmoil and American leadership was no longer effective or trusted

(The head of the FBI testified before Congress earlier and waffled when asked whether we were safer today than 3 or so years ago.

FBI’s Wray Sweats Under Ron Johnson’s Heat on Biden Cover-Up!   [More])

In a heated Senate hearing, Republican Senator Ron Johnson from Wisconsin really gave FBI Director Christopher Wray a run for his money. Johnson grilled Wray over

3) The Senator from Wisconsin brought up how sensitive government agencies were both stonewalling and ignoring requests for documents and evidence and included the IRS, various intelligence agencies, the FBI and IRS.  A produce information letter from Sen. Grassley has been totally ignored and 51 whistleblowers have been intimidated and their testimony withheld from FBI investigation,  We already know about Hillary's entire false Russian Collusion allegations  and more efforts to pin false information on the Trump Administration.

China continues to use Tik Tock to spread disinformation for the purpose of continuing to create discord among Americans as they  watch Biden's inept and weak responses.

4) The former head of the Armed Services stated his greatest fear was our broken relationship with China and lack of contact with China, a matter placing the world in grave danger.  He also cited China's accelerating nuclear buildup as well as XI's expressed desire to take Taiwan.

5) Ben Carson reminded us of Ben Franklin's warning we had a Republic if we could keep it and after 240 years were close to losing our treasured government, the envy of the world. . He cited the issue of a biased mass media inhabited by graduates who held anti-American and anti-Semitic views because they were  indoctrinated by professors who were Marxist's.

Carson cited the difference between the former administration and the Biden administration and stated he supported Trump.

Bartiromo's interviewee's revealed nothing I have not already written. Yes, we are a purposely divided nation, a weakened nation, a nation whos next generation has been taught by Marxists and who are threatened by our system of freedom which we are about to lose because of weak leadership whose strings are being pulled by Obama holdovers.

There has never been a period in America's history as dire as now and I do not know how it will end.  I can only cite what Dr. Carson and former Sec, of State Pompeo said.  Those who want to save what our Founding Father's gave us had better speak up, had better be courageous in their defense of America.

This from dear, right friends of longstanding and fellow memo readers:

From a speech by Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on October 12, 2023, supposedly to honor the fallen Israelis and Americans and persons of other nations:

"Hamas launched its attack on Simchat Torah.  This is the day Jews celebrate finishing the reading of the Torah.  This Saturday, Jews around the world will chant the first words of the book of Genesis.  They’ll read that in the beginning, there was darkness; and then there was light.  That the first person was alone until a partner joined them."

Up until now, I did not know Adam used pronouns "them/they" in the Garden of Eden.

The weakest minds among us are making decisions against the strongest of our enemies.

Hope all is well.

All the best,

For those who read my memos they might remember I wrote eventually American "Deplorables" would resent the unconstitutional behaviour of those who weaponized the Democrat party for the sole purpose of trashing Trump in a totally un-American manner much akin to the Nazi's. Trump's poll numbers are up and his chances of smearing Biden are rising.  Why?  Because Biden has demonstrated weak leadership, got in bed with the radical Jew hating members of his Party who have now turned on him and even Blacks, according to Dr. Carson, are beginning to think for themselves and are potentially deserting the hypocrite Democrats who have played them like the fools they have been.

After opening probe of pro-Palestinian group, Virginia AG sends supplies to Israel
‘This is a moment where I think moral clarity is needed,’ Miyares says

A crowd appeared outside the Virginia attorney general’s office on a chilly Wednesday morning to help load black duffel bags into a white truck that would handle the first leg of their journey to Israel.

The bags and crates were filled with surplus vest, helmets and protective plates donated by Virginia law enforcement agencies at the request of Attorney General Jason Miyares, a Republican who has taken an adamantly pro-Israel stance to the conflict unfolding in the Middle East.

“This is a moment where I think moral clarity is needed,” Miyares told reporters as volunteers helped load the truck with equipment that he said would “hopefully save some lives.”

Support for Israel has been bipartisan among Virginia’s political leaders.

Gov. Glenn Youngkin announced an executive order on Tuesday aimed at “combating antisemitism and anti-religious bigotry” that mostly coordinates state resources to prevent threats and violence in Virginia tied to the Israel-Hamas conflict. Youngkin emphasized it was meant to protect both Jewish and Muslim communities.

Miyares has arguably gone further in using the power of his office to pick a side in the conflict. A week after the Oct. 7 attack on Israel by Hamas, Miyares sent a letter to the state’s higher education leaders urging them to take steps on their campuses — which have seen heated debate over how to balance Israel’s right to self-defense and the human rights of Gazan civilians suffering under Israel’s retaliatory airstrikes — to “promote public safety and ensure viewpoint diversity.” And earlier this week, Miyares announced his office was opening an investigation into the fundraising activities of Northern Virginia-based nonprofit AJP Educational Foundation, an arm of American Muslims for Palestine, that will look into accusations the group might be using its resources to support terrorism.

“The Attorney General’s Office has reason to believe that the organization may be soliciting contributions in the Commonwealth without first having registered with the Commissioner of the Virginia Department of Agriculture,” Miyares’ office said in a release Tuesday. “In addition, the Attorney General will investigate allegations that the organization may have used funds raised for impermissible purposes under state law, including benefitting or providing support to terrorist organizations.”

The announcement of the probe drew denunciations from Muslim advocacy groups who called it an act of political posturing that could stoke further animosity at an already tense time.

In a social media post Tuesday, the Council on American-Islamic Relations criticized Miyares for what it called a “dangerous and defamatory move.”

“Targeting Muslim and Palestinian American organizations with baseless and irresponsible smears threatens the safety of their staffers and the communities they serve,” the group said on X. CAIR said its legal team is working with the group being investigated by Miyares to “protect their rights.”

American Muslims for Palestine — which says its mission is to “educate the public about the just cause of Palestine and the rights of self-determination, liberty and justice” — called the attorney general’s announcement “an attempt to smear and silence Muslims.”

“If Attorney General Miyares has identified an issue with our license to fundraise in Virginia, that is a common and easily resolvable civil issue that many nonprofits face and fix,” the group said in a statement. “By publicly making this dishonest public announcement, Mr. Miyares is clearly attempting to score political points with hateful extremists.”

At Wednesday’s event, Miyares called those accusations “laughable.”

“My job as the attorney general is to be the people’s protector,” Miyares said. “And I also have the statutory authority overseeing charities in Virginia.”

Miyares declined to elaborate on the basis for his suggestion the group might be supporting terrorism.

“I do not, on an ongoing investigation, reveal both our sources and how we got this information,” Miyares said.

Every charitable group that registers to fundraise in Virginia must attest that no funds “have been or will knowingly be used, directly or indirectly, to benefit or provide support, in cash or in kind, to terrorists, terrorist organizations, terrorist activities, or the family members of any terrorist.” The law also prohibits the state from granting registrations to groups that raise funds to “benefit or support” terrorism.

The Anti-Defamation League, a Jewish advocacy group that monitors antisemitism, describes American Muslims for Palestine as “the leading organization providing anti-Zionist training and education to students and Muslim community organizations in the country” and says the group often promotes “inflammatory rhetoric and false accusations against Israel.” The ADL also said the group “has its organizational roots in the Islamic Association of Palestine (IAP), an anti-Semitic group that served as the main propaganda arm for Hamas.”

Miyares’ office also pointed to a pending federal lawsuit filed by an American family that has sought to hold Islamic groups partly responsible after Hamas gunmen fatally shot their teenaged son in 1996 while he was studying abroad in Israel. The family won a $156 million judgment it was unable to collect after the former groups shut down, but the recent lawsuit claims American Muslims for Palestine is substantially similar to the prior organizations involved in the case and therefore should be held liable.

It’s unclear how long Miyares’ investigation of the group might last.

His office pulled together the donation of supplies to Israel in just a few weeks.

In a letter sent to all 123 Virginia sheriffs last month, Miyares said his office was coordinating donations of surplus equipment from those who “want to help the Israel Defense Forces fight terrorism in Israel and Palestine.”

On Wednesday, Miyares said the equipment he was helping ship to Israel will eventually go to “first responders at the forefront of the conflict.” The attorney general’s office said the shipment will include 800 vests, 50 helmets and 75 protective plates used for body armor.

Some in the crowd of volunteers that helped load the supplies into the truck displayed Israeli flags and held up posters of people believed to be kidnapped during the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas.

Amy Scharf, a Jewish resident of Richmond, said supporting Israel should be a “nonpartisan issue” because the country is a democracy that reflects American values.

“This is standing up to terrorism,” she said. “Pure and simple.”

Israel’s 30th Day of War
By Sherwin Pomerantz

We are now in the 30th day of war, a full month since the massacre of October 7th and the war shows no signs of winding down.  If anything it is becoming more intense.

In spite of our troops now being positioned in Gaza and having surrounded Gaza City on all sides, rockets continue to be launched at Israel with one even reaching Eilat on Saturday.  To date 28 Israeli soldiers have lost their lives in the war with almost 300 others killed during the massacre as well.

US Secretary of State has been in the region since Friday.  He first met with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to convince Israel to agree to a humanitarian pause in the fighting.  Israel rebuffed the approach saying now is the time to pursue Hamas leadership not give them an opportunity to regroup.  Blinken was in Amman on Saturday for a summit with Arab leaders who told him that they were having trouble controlling the rioters in their various countries.  The implication being that they were more or less happy to see Hamas brought to its knees, and just fine with Israel taking care of that but having difficulty maintaining order in their countries given the protests over the casualties in Gaza.   Blinken was scheduled to be in Ramallah today to meet with Palestinian President Abbas.

On the northern border with Lebanon, we are seeing a controlled conflict in line with Nasrallah’s speech on Friday where he said Lebanon has no interest in escalating the conflict.  But Israel continues to be fired upon from Lebanon and some of those rockets do cause damage in the evacuated towns of the north, the latest one hitting Kiryat Shmonah.

Diplomatically, Turkey and Hungary have joined the ranks of countries who have recalled their ambassadors from Israel.  Foreign passport holders stuck in Gaza are now being allowed to leave for Egypt, albeit slowly.  So far fewer than 100 Americans have been able to get out through the Rafah border crossing.

Citing rising anti-Semitism worldwide since Israel declared war on Hamas, Israel’s National Security Council on Friday urged Israelis to reconsider any travel abroad while calling on those flying overseas to avoid outward displays of their Jewish and Israeli identities.  In a joint statement with the Foreign Ministry, the National Security Council said Israelis should “weigh the essentiality” of their travel plans before departing and take additional precautions while out of the country.

U.S. and Israeli interests in the ongoing Middle East conflict seem to be diverging in both the short and long term, muddying the path to ending our war against Hamas.  Above all, Israel views Hamas as an existential threat and sees eradicating it as a crucial goal; anything short of that is a failure. The U.S. has committed to helping Israel defeat Hamas, but for President Biden, the threat goes beyond Hamas. His administration is trying to keep its allies united against Iran, Russia and China. Both countries want to avoid a larger regional war, but Israel is willing to take more risks in pursuit of defeating Hamas.

The fate of the hostages continues to grip the country—people struggle not to weep when they think of four-year-old children in captivity, without their parents, without anyone they know. Who is putting them to sleep? Is anyone holding them, singing to them? Maybe reading them a story in a language they understand? Does anyone come to them when they wake up screaming in the middle of the night? What will they be like when they get out?

This morning’s news carried an interview with a young woman whose 85-year-old grandmother was taken captive. She has dangerously high blood pressure, back problems that require medication, uses a walker— she’s in her 80’s. After the painful interview, the interviewer said, “Thank you for joining us. We hope your grandmother and all the others will be home very soon.” To which the young woman replied, “I’m not optimistic. In her condition, after thirty days …. I doubt it.”

Today, the 30th day after the massacre marks the shloshim (Hebrew for 30) which is the end of the traditional 30-day mourning period observed for everyone except parents (for whom the mourning period stretches to a full year).  Israeli President Chaim Herzog has asked that at 6 PM tonight everyone light a memorial candle for the 1,400 people killed on October 7th.  May their memories be for a blessing and may we learn well the lesson of their sacrifice.

KEY POINTS TO SHARE
Hamas cares more about killing Israelis than helping Palestinians.
A ceasefire now strengthens Hamas.
America must give Israel the time, resource and support it needs in its war to protect its families and drive Hamas out of Gaza.
Dear Dick,

Over the weekend, Hamas further demonstrated its sadistic disregard for innocent Palestinians.

Just in the past 72 hours:
  • The terror group attacked humanitarian corridors set up by Israel to help Palestinians evacuate from northern Gaza to the south.
  • Hamas abused a passage for injured Palestinians to leave Gaza by loading the list of evacuees with members of the terror organization.
  • Hamas used ambulances to ferry its members and weapons across Gaza – Israel struck a convoy of Hamas ambulances.
    • Watch and share: Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas spoke in 2009 about how Hamas uses ambulances.
  • Hamas hosted an event at Al-Shifa hospital for thousands to watch its attacks on Israeli soldiers, demonstrating it has enough fuel to fire rockets and for propaganda, while hospitals in Gaza need fuel to help keep functioning.
    • Watch and share: Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke this weekend about how Hamas is hoarding and siphoning fuel.
  • The IDF exposed rocket launchers and tunnels near children’s playgrounds and pools in Gaza.
  • Inspectors of humanitarian goods entering Gaza found oxygen concentrators hidden in food boxes – which Hamas intended to use to aerate its terror tunnels.
Watch and share: This short AIPAC video compiles recent headlines exposing Hamas’ disregard for innocent civilians.

Hamas cares more about killing Israelis than helping Palestinians. To save lives and protect Palestinians, Gaza must be freed from Hamas.

A ceasefire now would allow Hamas to stay armed and in power, ready and able to attack Israel again. At an event yesterday, Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi shut down a protestor by making the clear and simple point: "A ceasefire now strengthens Hamas."

Congress is hearing from anti-Israel activists across the country. It’s essential that the pro-Israel community continues to urge our elected leaders to stand with Israel.

TAKE ACTION: Click here to send an email urging America’s leaders to stand with Israel and give our ally the time, resources and support it needs in its war to protect its families and drive Hamas out of Gaza.

This week we’ll be emailing and texting you with links to contact and numbers to call your Senators, House members, and other members of Congress who need to hear from us.

For the most up-to-date news and information, follow AIPAC on social media.

May God protect the brave soldiers of the IDF, provide comfort to the people of Israel, and safeguard those kidnapped by Hamas.

Sincerely,
