My Summer Thoughts. What's With Biden?

As noted in a previous memo, I believe we are in for a long hot summer.

See less going right than going wrong but, as the world economies re-link, believe market prospects still point to the upside though valuations remain rich.

Expect we will see some levelling off in inflation as people return to work and inventory rebuilds and a more normal matching of supply and demand occurs.

If American discomfort, with what has been going on builds, there could still be a significant amount of unrest and what happens with Biden is, at best, anyone's guess.  He obviously is unsuited to be president and has mental issues that will only worsen.

We had a shaved down infrastructure bill until Biden took a bait and switch approach.  Who knows what will be the outcome even when there is consensus among the two party's because  Democrats are held hostage by the radical element in their ranks.

Finally, as we get closer to the 2022 Mid Term, everything will be determined by politics and maneuvering on the part of Democrats to prevent a tidal wave that is building to sweep them out of office and return both The House and Senate to the Republican column.

Suburban soccer moms have had a year without Trump Tweets and commentary and they have had an opportunity to witness the consequences of their previous discontent.  I suspect they are not overly salubrious. What they buy for the family meals costs more, the gas in their cars costs more, their schools are being taken over by radicals who are busy teaching their children to hate the country where they live, their cities are witnessing increased crime as their first line of defense is being defunded and that is just a few things that have changed.

Two things could prevent Republicans from winning:
a) Trump could cause internal discord among Republican ranks and b) election fraud could raise it's ugly head and result in questionable voting incidents.

Stay tuned. Time Will tell.

Have you ordered your F 15 and/or nuclear weapon of choice yet?

Joe Biden Threatens Americans in Angry Rant About Going Against the Government

(RightWing.org) – President Biden stunned the US on Wednesday when he let loose an astonishing rant about the power of the federal government and the inability of ordinary Americans to fight back against it.
Addressing a press conference on June 23, Biden somehow decided it was appropriate to deny the whole point of the Second Amendment by telling the country the government could infringe the right to bear arms – and always had.

Biden claimed that from “the day it was passed,” the Second Amendment set limits on the types of individuals allowed to own guns and “what type of weapon” they could own. He went on to ridicule Thomas Jefferson’s famous statement about the tree of liberty needing to be refreshed with the blood of patriots. Then he warned that if you want to confront the government, “you need F15s and maybe some nuclear weapons.”

It’s hard to interpret this as anything except a warning that, if it comes to a fight, the government has more firepower – and predictably, the reaction was furious. Donald Trump Jr dismissed the president as a “doddering old fool,” while Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY) mildly pointed out that threatening the American people with nuclear weapons was “not OK.” The Democratic Party was conspicuously silent on the subject.

Comments from a very dear friend and fellow memo reader:

"I don't believe that the Republicans will be snookered.  Democrats know,  because he said it, that he was going to sign the bill, and all of the bull shit about how he'd worked for years "across the aisle".    Now, to change his dynamics will certainly be clear to everyone....Democrats and Republicans unless the Democrats are so blindly stupid that they don't see his double cross.

But, if that doesn't work.....just pray!

Biden: My Threat Not to Sign Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill Was Not Intended as a Veto Threat

On Thursday, hours after agreeing to framework for an infrastructure bill with a bipartisan group of senators, President Biden said: “If this...

Poll Shows Majority Of U.S. Support Voter Id Laws

(TheLibertyRevolution.com)- Did you hear about far-left Georgia “voting rights” activist Stacey Abrams flip-flopping on voter ID recently? She said that she could support a compromise on the “For the People Act” put forward by West Virginia Democratic Senator Joe Manchin even if it included voter ID as a requirement, wrongly claiming during a network TV interview that Democrats have never been opposed to voter ID.

Despite her literally saying it was “Jim Crow in a suit and tie.”

See?

Well, it looks as though the reason why Democrats are pulling back on this is not just because Senator Manchin won’t give them his vote, but also because opposing voter ID is deeply unpopular among the American voting public.

According to a Monmouth University Poll, most Americans believe that early voting should be made easier and that all voters should be required to show photographic ID to prove who they are when they cast a ballot.

What made the Democrats think for even a moment that voter ID was racist or that the American public would oppose it?

Less than one in five Americans oppose voter ID, which is a tiny fraction of the public and completely out of step with Democrats. A huge portion of Congressional Democrats have claimed in recent years that voter ID is racist and restricts voting access, with many throwing their weight behind the “For the People Act” which would do away with voter ID and make it easier for illegal aliens to vote.
Sadly, the poll also found that many Americans think that mail-in voting should be made easier – which would open the door to more election fraud and misconduct. In the last election, mass mail-in voting meant it was harder for election officials to keep track of legitimate votes and potentially allowed tens of thousands of votes to be counted without proper signature or identity verification.

89% of Democrats said that they want to make early voting easier, and even 56% of Republicans said that same. For mail-in voting, 84% of Democrats said that they want to make it easier and only 26% of Republicans said that same.

However, 69% of Americans also said that there should be national guidelines to manage mail-in voting, which could potentially help prevent fraud.

Is this the reason Democrats are backing off on their insane opposition to voter ID?
