I read a lot of reports that are in conflict because I like getting both sides of the argument but I do not always post everything I read because my memos are too long as it is and as I am constantly reminded by my wife.
But Obama provides me with so much juicy source material it is hard, even impossible, to pick and choose.
It is now around 10:30PM and I would normally be reading a book or watching a comedic movie but nothing can beat what Obama and Kerry have been serving up these past few weeks.
Syria pretty much took Anthony Weiner and shoved him to the back pages and then voters rejected him completely yesterday. Poor old Anthony. Now he must either see a psychiatrist and get himself straightened out or revert back to his twisted life. Maybe Obama will hire him to replace Kerry.
What has gone on for the last five years makes the Three Stooges look brilliant. After Obama, Hillary, Rice, and Kerry you would think the nation would be exhausted but we have three more years to suffer through - Berra was right. "It ain't over til its over!"
Putin has got to be thinking there really is a god in heaven. From a Black Belt thug he has now outdone Edgar Bergen and Houdini. His compassion for Obama cannot be ignored. Just when our president was about to be rejected by Congress, Putin came riding in on his white horse and saved, not only Assad but Obama. Now that's a true and trusted friend!
Obama is in debt to Putin for sure and no doubt will find a way to repay him not only for saving his own behind but also for taking that pesky snitch, (what's his name? Snowden) who spilled national secrets, off the front pages as well
Now that Congress has returned and gotten an earful it is back to the more mundane, ie. saving America from defaulting, funding or de-funding Obamacare and doing something about illegals who refuse to go home because they would rather remain here and pick whatever because we need to eat and they need to send money back home.
Meanwhile, McCain is not happy that Obama refused to go to war, Reid is happy he did not have to get his troops to support their president, the Pentagon is left wondering what to do about all those ships out there bobbing in the water, missiles on the ready as Russia bobs and weaves along with China in the U.N. and the stock market continues upwards on QE fumes provided by The Fed.
One new piece of news is that Ice is returning to the Arctic so that should throw cold water on the Greens and that hypocrite from Tennessee - what's his name? He was a former VP and ran for president but lacked enough chad to move into the White House - oh yeah, Al Gore! How quickly I forget the bland!
And then there is Hillary. She was at The White House last week supporting her former boss and telling him to keep his head down because 'what difference does it make' and you can always lie your way out of any mess because you are a magician,you have the press and media behind you and Hollywood still adores you.
On the Republican side of the aisle the Governor of New Jersey has been quite silent and seems unwilling to come to the rescue of his new friend. Is all Christie wants from the president is money to rebuild his state's infrastructure? Sen. Rand ,who is the governor's nemesis, has been out there telling it like it is and sounding more rational every minute. Speaker Boehner is looking more and more forlorn as he got ahead of his troops and tried to cajole them into a yes vote that was critical but turned out unnecessary because Assad pulled the rug out from everyone or has he? Syria is a big country and I have to believe he is a pro at playing hide and seek and with Putin's assistance I suspect they will be successful in placating the world by giving up part of a loaf.
The Syrian Rebels are still waiting for arms just as American's would like to know something about Bengahzi. At least Israel should know where they stand and that Iran is their problem because even if Obama were to threaten Iran we would tell them exactly what we were going to do and we would make certain it would be painless.
I still maintain we should send a stealth plane on an Halloween Mission to spell out BOOO in the sky!
So where do we go from here? Well we will not know until Putin tells us. Therefore, stay tuned for the next saga and let's see who is next to have mud on his face. Seems there is enough to go round even in lands that are full of sand.
