Israel busts Iran-directed terror cell plotting to assassinate Ben-Gvir

(September 27, 2023 / JNS) Israel caught a Tehran-sponsored terrorist cell plotting to carry out attacks in the Jewish state, including assassinating National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) revealed on Wednesday.
Israeli forces arrested five suspects—three Palestinians and two Israeli citizens—who were recruited by the Islamic Republic.
The Shin Bet identified the three Palestinians as Ziad Shanti, 45, and Hassan Mujarimah, 34— both from Jenin—and 47-year-old Murad Kamamaja from the nearby village of Kafr Dan.

I have been away for the Jewish Holiday and have a lot of catching up to do. I have finished Levin's book and will do my best to review the remaining 5 chapters before moving onto other commentary.

The third chapter is entitled: "Anti-White Racism & Anti-Semitism" and the title is pretty descriptive of the Levin's commentary.
Levin does not deny slavery was part of our sordid history but so were numerous efforts to abolish slavery. Bad as slavery is, America was not engulfed with this plague. Most white southern families did not own slaves and the north did not rely upon slavery to build it industrial base. Levin further makes the case, a free market system does not care what color people are or what religion they practice. It's focus is their ability to produce what others wish to purchase.
Market capitalism is an expression radicals have used to paint the political canvas so they could make their biased untruthful case against "whites." The battle is now between equality versus equity and the 1619 Project, which avers a person of color is, by definition, a victim of racism and a parson identified as white, by definition, is a racist. Marxists have perfected the self-righteous ability that if they say it, it is so.
The common thread that runs through out the Democrat Party is a rejection of the fundamental principles upon which our nation was founded, ie/ capitalism, Declaration of Independence and our Constitution.
When it comes to the topic of anti-Semitism, Levin asserts the Democrat Party remains the party that continues to embrace anti-Semitism and cites Hakeem Jeffries who is associated in the 1990's by his comments that were the old unapologetic stereotypes as well as those by Al Sharpton and Reverend Jeremiah Wright.
The Rabbi's speech, at the Synagogue we attended Monday, was totally devoted to the rise in anti-Semitism in our own nation and though he did not tag the Democrat Party, as has Levin, he left no doubt about an inferred association.
As I have noted, it is one thing to criticize a nation's policies but when you extend the criticism to the quest for the total elimination of the sole Jewish nation that is anti-Semitism. Anti-Israel commentary has reached a virulence seldom seen. Furthermore, Biden has done nothing to confront many issues that scream for attention and anti-Semitism is one. In fact, Biden has watered down Civil right's language with respect to anti-Semitism pertaining to colleges and school. He has gone out of his way to undercut BIBI and to respond to the excessive spewing of hatred from the likes of Ilhan Omar, AOC, and Rashida Tlaib. In fact, Biden has taken up where Obama left off with his noxious hostility as well as his devious support of Iran.
The bellicosity towards Israel emanating from the Democrat Party is, lamentably, driving the rest of he country.

Chapter Four is entitled: Language Control & Thought Control."
Levin draws from Communist Regimes to show how language has been weaponized to serve the purposes of a political party. Why language? Because language is deemed the most powerful weapon in the hands of a state bent on transforming humans. Language is both used for communication as well as oppression. In America, the dictionary has become a tool used by the state to define changes in meanings, particularly words related to LGBTQ identity. Repetition is also a tool of manipulation.
Take the word "climate change" which has become increasingly authoritarian over all aspects of American life. The urgency which is associated with the word connotes immediacy in which we are being forcibly driven by a powerful and growing government which seeks behavior control over the citizenry.
Levin lists12 comments by experts, scholars. scientists, meteorologists, climatologists, professors, politicians etc. suggesting the end of the world was near and everyone wound up with egg on their face. Why? Because these demagogues were driven by an ideological and political agenda disguised as science. The thrust of the Marxist goal is to infuse and manipulate the broader culture.
Biden conceals his true intentions by subtly accusing the GOP, as Hillary does, of what they were guilty knowing if they blatantly repeat what they say they could get away with doing so. A perfect example is Biden's blatant lies accusing Republicans being indifferent toward continuance of Social Security and Medicare.
Levin minced no words about his views of the mass media. He asserts the mass media was never meant to be the extended arm of any one political party. Furthermore, the media has transformed into a corrupt propaganda entity of the Democrat Party. It did so without threats or intimidation but simply because those who comprise the media are ideologically in bed with the Democrat Party and American Marxists.
Levin continues by stating the marriage between the Democrat Party and the media and the persistent embrace of propaganda and word manipulation has resulted in the fundamental transformation of America. The media also has embraced CRT, manipulation of words and language in order to foment racial division. To own language is to own the culture. A nation divided by multi languages cannot survive.
Speech intimidation is also an important part of the Democrat Party's tactics. If you disagree with government dictates you can lose your license to practice. It would appear Elon Musk is too independent for the likes of Biden's thought police and anti-free speech policies.
Levin submits the Democrat Party seeks to transform Americans from freethinking, engaged, independent, curious and industrious people to a dispirited, silenced, subsidized inattentive and compliant lot where thought control is essential.
My words: This is what Obama meant when he said he wanted to transform America.
