Rolland Golden, Fabulous Artist. Alec Baldwin. Election Nears. Reason To Own Gas Stocks.

Rolland Golden was a fabulous and serious artist. We became friends over 60 years ago when I purchased my first "Rolland," a watercolor f his wife. Subsequently we visited him at their home and atelier, purchased a lithograph and have given many of his works to The GMOA.

Hope this finds you and your family well, without any ill effects from COVID, flooding, storms, wild fires, etc.  This has really been a very difficult time for the U.S. and across the world.

We have just consigned some of Rolland's paintings and drawings to the new JillianMac Gallery @ 3923 Magazine St. in New Orleans.  Jill has a long history in the art world and was one of the owners of McGryder Gallery on Julia Street, which closed when COVID hit. 

Her grand opening is Saturday, October 1st from 6 - 9 P.M.  Lucille and I plan to attend and will enjoy meeting Rolland's fans and collectors.

I have relisted my home in Natchez, MS.  It was a great place to live, but keeping up with 2 homes is more than I can handle at my age.  Here is info:  215 St. Charles, Natchez, MS.  Pilgrimage started last week-end and runs through October 21st.  The annual Balloon Festival is October 14 - 16.

As the election nears, Democrats will continue to scream race card, as Obama just did,  They have nothing else to say.  Biden has failed at everything they have tried. If Republicans don't blow it, the Democrats will be drowned unless there are enough voting irregularities. 

Where is the MAGA Crime wave and the Hunter Biden Chinese gas sales connection investigation?

If Republicans cannot get enough votes to over-ride Biden vetoes they will have to fight hard explaining why they could not accomplish much of what McCarthy promised they would do and that means fight. Republicans are terrible when it comes to fighting.  They are averse to getting in the ring.
