Something Wrong? Why Do American's Support Hamas? - My 3 Reasons. Ashley Perry. Much More.

I have a Rabbi I love but always though he was politically nutsy.

He is a fellow memo reader and sent me the folowing, and of course I responded as I always do.:

"To Me:"
It’s amazing how differently we see the world. Netanyahu is a disaster. He has blocked any peace with Palestinians.

The economy is doing well.

The Republicans have served as obstacles for  our good foreign policy and any policy regarding the border.

But they are loyal to the Trump cult.

L’Shalom,

R-----"

"As for the Palestinians. They have rejected every opportunity to live peacefully every time they have been given the chance. Apparently they would rather engage in Intifadas and kill Israelis. They continue to train their children to hate Israel and it's people.  They chose to have Hamas govern them after they received Gaza back from Israel and now we just had 10/7 and before that incessant rocket attacks.

Golda said Palestinians would have peace if they loved their children  as Israeli's love theirs'.  How do you make peace
with those who want to wipe you off the map?
Arabs and Muslims number in the billions, live in many nations and Israel is a tiny nation and the only one where Jews have a nation.

What have the Arabs and Muslims done to make the world a better place?  They certainly have learned Ito perfect Islamist Terrorism, how to kill sleeping Marines, chop up a reporter and fly planes into buildings .

They even reject their own brothers (Palestinians) because
wherever they are allowed to go they cause problems. Read the history of Jordan.

Hezbollah uses Jordan as a pass through for Iranian supplied weapons just as Hamas uses Egypt's Philadelphia Corridor to do the same so their Iranian weapons can be hidden under Palestinian Hospitals etc. Do you really want Iran to go
nuclear?  Biden and Obama do.

Now let's turn to the GOP and the Trump cult..

I assume you favor Biden's domestic and foreign policies that allow America to be swamped with illegals, dope peddlers, sex traffickers and gangs etc.

I assume you prefer Biden be allowed to spend tax payer money to finance his every want which he calls a need.  Liberals always need more money to better their insane policies that fail. Democrats are financial nymphomaniacs. Not that any politician is trustworthy.

At least the GOP is trying to hold Biden's feet to the fire but lack political leverage .

You must truly hate this country and your children if you hate Trump and love the corrupt Biden.

You seem obsessed so yes, we are amazingly far apart and I am  proud that you recognize this fact. Me"

NYT’s Bret Stephens On Israel, 4 Years Of GoodFellows, And An Invite To JK Rowling

interview with John H. CochraneNiall FergusonH.R. McMasterBill Whalen via GoodFellows

As the six-month anniversary of Hamas’s attack on Israel approaches, what to expect next in that struggle—and is the American president and Israeli prime minister’s working relationship beyond repair? New York Times columnist Bret Stephens joins Hoover senior fellows Niall Ferguson, John Cochrane, and H.R. McMaster to discuss the war’s possible expansion into southern Lebanon and Stephens’s vision of a rebuilt Gaza as a Mediterranean version of Dubai.

And:

Star Parker's Take. Something Is Wrong. Something Is Rotten In Denmark? Star Has No Rational Answer.

Mine is based on several conclusions.

a)The World is Basically Anti-Semitic.

b) Israel has proven to be a winner and thus has lost the propaganda war because the world eventually turns against the victim

c) The world's leadership is feckless and fears going against those who make the loudest noise and who take the lead.  Intimidation wins over bravery.

Why Do Americans, UN Support Hamas Terrorists?

By Star Parker

Most recent Gallup polling in March shows that 36% of Americans "approve of Israeli military action in Gaza" and 50% disapprove.

Last November, a month after the Hamas terrorist attack in Israel that claimed the lives of more than 1,200 innocent Israeli civilians, 55% approved of the military action that Israel initiated.

What has happened over the last few months that now barely more than a third of Americans support the clear case of the right of Israel to defend its country? We might also ask why only 55% last November supported Israel's military action to defend itself.

Let's again recall that Americans were strongly united to condemn and retaliate against the horror of the terrorist attack against our own country on Sept. 11, 2001, that took the lives of almost 3,000 American citizens.

The 1,200 Israeli victims of terror, in that tiny country of some 9.5 million, equates to more than 40,000 in our country of over 330 million.

Why is it not equally clear that Israel must defend itself as we must defend our homeland?

Per Brown University's Costs of War project, total casualties in Afghanistan, and subsequently in Iraq, as result of U.S. retaliatory military action in the war against terror, amounted to 177,000, some six times greater than casualties reported in Gaza.

We must also note, again, that we're not just talking about murder, regarding the 1,200 Israelis that were killed.

We're talking about subhuman brutality, documented in video, in which rape, beheadings and desecration of bodies occurred. The Hamas terrorists celebrated with joy every Israeli murder and atrocity.

Hamas has long been recognized by the U.S. government as a terrorist organization.

Why are Americans not united in condemning the sickening murder and brutality of the Hamas terrorists, demanding the release of the now estimated 130 hostages they still hold, which include six U.S. citizens?

How could our country abstain in the recent United Nations Security Council vote demanding a ceasefire in Gaza, with no condemnation of Hamas terrorism and with no demand of unilateral release by Hamas of the hostages they hold?

12 Forgotten Historical Figures We’re Revisiting

What is the disconnect that can explain the absence of uniform support among Americans for clear-cut action by Israel to defend itself against brutal terrorists, committed to the destruction of its state and homeland?

Freedom House is a nonpartisan Washington, D.C.-based organization that issues an annual report of the state of freedom around the world.

Freedom House, in this annual report, grades countries worldwide regarding the extent to which they are free. Per Freedom House's methodology, each country is graded on a scale of 1-100, based on political rights and civil liberties in that country.

In the Middle East region, there is only one country that Freedom House scores as free — Israel.

Out of a possible 100, Israel scores 74. For perspective, the United States has a score of 83.

Looking at the Middle East neighborhood where Israel exists, we see it standing alone as free in a sea of unfree countries

Freedom House scores for Israel's neighbors: Jordan 33, Egypt 18, Lebanon 42, Syria 1, Iraq 30, Saudi Arabia 8.

Why does the clear lack of freedom across the Middle East not seem to bother anyone while the only free country in the region elicits protests and condemnation?

Why, 76 years after Israel's founding, and its miraculous emergence as a modern thriving nation — a world center of innovation and technology, boasting 13 Nobel prize winners — do many still reject its right to exist?

Amid this craziness, let's recall, again, that Israel is the only Jewish country in the world.

There are 49 countries with majority Muslim populations.

There are 15 million Jews in the world and 1.8 billion Muslims.

Yet, worldwide, there remains antipathy to this lone, tiny yet successful-way-beyond-its-size Jewish country.

Something is wrong Very wrong.

Talk bout intimidation:

Due to security concerns, yesterday’s webinar will not be posted to retain the speaker’s anonymity. Please enjoy next week’s webinar with Ambassador John Bolton.

While much of the international community focuses its attention on the Israel/Hamas war and the Houthis disruption of maritime traffic in the Red Sea, the head of the snake that is terrorizing the world, the Islamic Republic of Iran, is being ignored at the world’s peril. In a recent Middle East Forum report, Jonathan Spyer wrote, “Iran has operated a network of proxy terrorist and militia groups across the Middle East and beyond for decades. They recently activated many of them and sparked the conflagration engulfing much of the Middle East and wreaking havoc on global commerce.” He and co-author Jim Hanson concluded that only when the free world aims to overthrow the Islamist regime in Iran will Iranians, other Middle Easterners and people throughout much of the world be able to enjoy peace and prosperity. Join us for an in-depth discussion with Jonathan Spyer on key takeaways from his report including the main Iranian surrogates known as the “Axis of Resistance,” the Israel/Hamas war in the context of Iran, and Iran’s malign impact on the region.

About the Speaker: Jonathan Spyer is a British-Israeli analyst, writer, and journalist of Middle Eastern affairs. He is director of research at the Middle East Forum, editor of Middle East Quarterly magazine, a fellow at the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security, a freelance security analyst and correspondent for Jane's Information Group, and a columnist for The Jerusalem Post. He is the author of Days of the Fall: A Reporter's Journey in the Syria and Iraq Wars and The Transforming Fire: The Rise of the Israel-Islamist Conflict.

And:

Today I listened to Ashley Perry who gave an Israel update on The Middle East Forum.

Perry said Benny Gantz had called for elections despite the fact Israel is at war. Perry assumed Gantz did so because yesterday's riots in Israel were horrendous and Bibi's position has weakened in view of the fact Israel's Supreme Court made a decision unfavorable regarding the Orthodox conscription Issue.

Gantz also probably made a deal with the Orthodox to pull their alliance from BIBI. Furthermore, the poor initial apology about the IAF mistaken killing of some Palestinian food preparers also did not help Bibi who had just come out of hernia surgery..

Israeli hotheads seemingly have the upper hand and Gantz is Israel's Schumer. An opportunist worm, so stabbing BIBI is a non issue.

Climate: The Movie (The Cold Truth) Updated 4K version

This Movie is 1 hour 19 minutes long. It will explain to you why Climate Change is a Scam and a Hoax, and why it will waste trillions of dollars and change our Western culture for the worse. Other than the Democrat Party and Biden being “all in” on the Hoax -- this is not really a Political issue because we will all suffer “equally” from the results. This group of Scientist can tell the truth because they are either retired or left their teaching positions, knowing their studies would have been “defunded” by the Government, because they weren’t following the party line. Frankly, I was surprised to find it on YouTube, they'll probably take it down. The Chinese are laughing all the way to the bank, They know a useful hoax when they see it, they’ll sell us all the Windmills and Lithium batteries we want – while they build new coal plants at the rate of two a week. Pass this on, the more people who know the facts the better – especially younger people who've been indoctrinated on Global Warming. ++++++++++++++++ UNRWA is a perfect example of why the U.N should be abandoned.

EMET Applauds the Letter by Representative Keith Self (R-TX) Regarding the Dissolution of UNRWA

A few days ago, Rep. Keith Self (R-TX) penned a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken requesting to permanently cease all funding for the insidious United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). EMET applauds this letter and is extremely grateful for Rep. Self’s long history of working to expose UNRWA’s true nature.

UNRWA, the United Nations Relief Works Agency, which was established in 1949, is the sole refugee agency dedicated to a single refugee population, the Palestinians. UNRWA is one of the largest UN agencies in existence, having approximately 30,000 employees, and according to Ambassador John Bolton, 99 percent of them are Palestinians.

For generations now, this agency has been rearing Palestinian youth on an extraordinarily biased and antisemitic educational system. A report that was just released from the Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in Schol Education, (IMPACT-se), indicates that the P.A. curricula and textbooks used throughout the Palestinian school systems replace the entire map of Israel with that if Palestine, preaches blatant Jew-hatred,  encourages violent attacks against Jews, and promotes shahada or martyrdom.

As Representative Self’s letter points out, some 3,000 of UNRWA’s teachers “were exposed for celebrating the October 7th massacres” in a group chat. As we all know, the October 7th atrocities were the most brutal to occur in the history of the Jewish people since the Holocaust.

Says Marcus Sheff, the CEO of IMPACT-SE, “The cooperation between UNRWA and Hamas is absolutely undeniable, both in educating the terrorists that perpetuated the October 7th atrocities and in being part, as we discovered afterward, of the terror infrastructure in its schools and in its hospitals.”

Israel claims that approximately 10 percent of UNRWA employees have ties to terrorist organizations. Says Mr. Sheff, “The end result of that radicalization is that among the thousands who went over the border on October 7th and committed acts of murder, rape, and abduction, it is statistically probable that the majority went to UNRWA’s schools. The UNRWA curriculum is what they were brought up on, and it teaches about jihad and martyrdom being the most important meanings of life, and that Jews are liars and frauds.”

Israel has exposed an elaborate and sophisticated labyrinth of terror tunnels that have been drilled directly beneath UNRWA  headquarters. It totally defies the laws of credulity to believe the claim of UNRWA Director Phillippe Lazzarini that UNRWA “did not know what is under our headquarters.” Said Mr. Lazzarini, “UNRWA staff left its headquarters in Gaza City on 12 October,” he adds. “We have not used that compound since we left it nor are we aware of any activity that may have taken place there.”

Does Mr. Lazzarini sincerely believe that such an elaborate system of tunnels could suddenly sprout up, unbeknownst to the employees of the UNRWA headquarters?

UNRWA is the sole UN agency where refugee status has been passed down in perpetuity from generation to generation.  This has created a sense of dependency and victimization among the Palestinians, whether they live in Gaza, Judea, and Samaria, (or the West Bank), Lebanon, Syria, or Jordan.

This is opposed to the United Nations High Commission of Refugees, (UNHCR) which has successfully helped in the re-establishment of the lives of millions of refugees from war-torn countries. The UN High Commission on Refugees regards its mission as immediately giving refugees naturalization and the ability to obtain citizenship within their host country and the ability to work. Therefore, enabling them to be productive and to get on with their lives.

Unfortunately, the United States has continuously been the largest donor nation to UNRWA, contributing more than $7.1 billion since its doors opened in 1949. EMET is delighted that this year’s Appropriations Bill has eliminated funding for UNRWA, something we at EMET have been advocating for decades. And we stand in total agreement with Rep. Keith Self that the very best thing for the Palestinian people would be to finally shut down UNRWA and give the Palestinian people a better future by placing them under the auspices of the UN High Commission of Refugees.

This would be good for the Palestinians, and hopefully a vehicle for creating a more stable, secure, and peaceful Middle East.
