This is a reposting of a  recap of a previous True Perspective information meeting on Sharia Law:

"True Perspectives Seminar, Aug. 19 – Presented by David Bores:

THE CURRENT THREAT OF ISLAMISM - THE THREAT OF SHARIA LAW TO THE FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN AMERICA

(This write-up provides a basic summary of the Presentation's key points as well as listings of reference material. A copy of David Bores’ presentation is available on the SIRC website –www.skidawayrepublicianclub.com.  The reader is encouraged to view the complete presentation.)

The basic take away from Mr. Bores’ presentation is that the radical Muslims are committed to the destruction of Western Civilization. And that they have made significant inroads into the fabric of most European Countries as well as in U.S. The implementation of Sharia Law provides an avenue to help them achieve this objective."

Meanwhile, Obama complains there is too much income disparity and, yes, there is but why?  His economic policies and The Fed's Zero interest rates leaves those seeking income on CD's etc. in the tank. For those who own stocks, either directly, or through their pension funds etc.they  are doing well.

Flood the economy with money, drop interest rates to zero and stocks go up savings vehicles decline.  A no brainer for those who understand economics and The Fed's expressed intent.

Once again the Pinata is of Obama's own making.

Wednesday, Obama is going to let us in on his ISIL strategy.  I will be on the road and may not hear it but I will have access on Lynn's I Pad.

Obama seems prepared to expand our attacks notwithstanding, his reluctance to do so. The man just hates war.

He was informed about ISSIS/ISIL over a year ago but either he was too busy playing golf, is just plain lazy and seldom spends enough time and thought with respect to his intelligence briefings or is so ideologically committed to the belief democratic lambs can lay down with terrorist lions he cannot bring himself to act appropriately or even worse, he aligns himself with Muslims believing America is to blame for all the world's ills.

Obama also responded to a question about his playing golf after the Foley incident and said he should have been more aware of the "optic" impact.  The questioner did not follow up but left Obama's response stand. What should have been the next question is: " Mr. President you won the election because you were so good at optic manipulation  so I am not willing to buy your answer!.  Any comment?" (See 1 below)

Dr. Tom Price, is a Georgia Congressman,  and I brought him to your attention many memos ago.  Dr. Price is a very good man and knows what he is talking about when it comes to medicine. Tom, laid out a health care program early on that addresses many of the problems in the current plan before Obamacare was imposed and made everything more complex and costly.

That  David Perdue is willing to embrace Price's plan and Nunn only wants to tweak Obamacare is simply another reason to vote for Perdue but the main reason remains; a vote for Nunn is a vote for Harry Reid.

When I hear Republicans have not offered anything regarding healthcare improvement that is simply another bald face falsehood.  Ryan offered an entire budget plan and 'President My Way or The Highway'  would not even talk with him.(See 2 below.)

And so it goes in Obama Land. Any murdered baby is a tragic waste regardless of color! (See 3 below.)

But have no fear or worry because when Congress returns they are going to act as always - more garbage, thoughtless and misguided legislation driven by knee jerk insanity and a PC'ism driven panic response!.  (See 3a below.)

Personal thoughts on Europe, anti-Semitism and the plight of European Jewry..

There are some 1 million plus Jews living in Europe and because of the influx of Muslims, Europe's historical deep seated animus towards Jews has resurfaced. The Palestinian- Israeli issue is cited as the basis and provides a convenient excuse.

Attacks on French Jews and their institutions has become a common occurrence and those who can are leaving France by the thousands.  The plight of those remaining is, thus, made even worse.

In Britain, notwithstanding the recent remarks by Prime Minister Cameron, British culture is being swamped by Muslims and though the situation for Jews has not reached the level in France,  prospects of their security and acceptance  are unfavorable.

Sweden and Norway has only a handful of Jews remaining and the same for Belgium where Muslims are about to destroy that once proud nation and in the Netherlands, the home of Ann Frank, the picture is equally bleak.

Italy has a long history of a Jewish population and Israeli efforts to resolve issues between the Catholic Church have paid off and, though the Muslim population in Italy is growing, hatred and acts of violence towards Jews is less than anywhere else in Europe and when they occur the government  deals swiftly.

Europe devoid of Jews will prove interesting because the influence of Jewish Culture swamps the contributions of Muslims, so stay tuned because this is the future for democracies whether they realize it or not.  What has begun, as renewed anti-Semitism, will morph into hatred by Muslims for all denominations because we are engaged in a religious war. It has already begun against Christian Coptics in the Middle East and hiding behind anti-Semitism will save no one!

1) Despite Setbacks, Islamic State Faces no Danger to its Existence
by Jonathan Spyer

The Islamic State this week executed kidnapped American journalist Steven Sotloff – in 'retaliation', the group said, for US bombing of its area of control in Iraq. The murder of Sotloff once more indicated the savage brutality of this group.
But while the IS may be almost without rivals in terms of its capacity for cruelty, events on the ground in Iraq and to a lesser extent in Syria are indicating its limitations as a military force. IS tactical setbacks, however, do not yet cast a serious shadow over the future existence of the Islamic State.
In early August, IS reached far into Iraq in a lightning offensive that left it 45 km from the Kurdish capital of Erbil and in possession of the city of Mosul and the Mosul dam, which provides water and electricity to northern Iraq and to the capital, Iraq. The group's fighters humiliated the Iraqi army in the taking of Mosul and the Kurdish Pesh Merga forces in the capture of the Sinjar mountain area.
IS went on to carry out atrocities against the Yezidi population of the Sinjar area, and the Christians of the Mosul area, creating a large refugee population. It was only airstrikes by the United States Air Force commencing on August 8thwhich prevented the fall of Erbil.
The Islamic State remains deployed close to the Kurdish capital. This reporter last week visited one of the frontline positions of the Kurdish Pesh Merga, at Khazer north west of Erbil. The lines around the city are eerily quiet at the moment.
This is because IS knows that were it to attempt to roll across the bare, flat ground towards the city, the US air response would be swift and fierce., and would result in the obliteration of the jihadi force.
The halting of the jihadi advance toward Erbil is testimony to the might of US arms, when they are directed with will and a clear goal.
The US has also been engaged, in cooperation with the Pesh Merga, Shia militias and the Iraqi army, in beginning to turn back the IS advances in western Iraq.
This week, the siege on the city of Amerli was lifted by Iraqi and Shia militia forces, paving the way for the re-conquest of Salahuddin province. The advance was preceded by US airstrikes on IS positions in the town.
The Pesh Merga has also had a good few days. The strategic Mosul dam was recaptured in late August, in a joint operation with Iraqi forces. This week the town of Zumar was retaken.
Evidence is emerging that US Special Operations forces are also engaged in the Iraq battles. It is not clear what precise role these forces are playing, but their presence has no doubt contributed to the relatively strong showing of the Iraqi and Kurdish forces in recent days.
The evidence indicates that the tactics of the Islamic State which enabled the group to achieve its rapid gains in Iraq in the course of the summer are of less application when defending areas against a determined attacker. IS has fast moving, mobile light infantry forces and employs terror tactics to intimidate populations. It has limited manpower, however, and no particularly original tactical abilities in defense, beyond its fighters' willingness for self-sacrifice.
Further west, in Syria, when IS fighters have faced the well motivated and determined Kurdish YPG militia, they have failed to gain ground. In Hasakeh province, and further west in the beleaguered Kobani enclave, the lightly armed but highly motivated and well-trained YPG fighters have succeeded in holding off the jihadis (albeit with heavy losses on the Kurdish side). This was so even when IS began to deploy US weapons systems captured in Mosul against the Kurds in Kobani. The enclave remains intact.
So the Islamic State is not invulnerable. Nevertheless, its continued existence is under no immediate threat. This is because of strategic, not tactical issues.
The forces that would like to destroy the Islamic State cannot, and those that could do not wish to.
Airstrikes can be useful in enabling the Iraqi forces and the Pesh Merga to eat away at the eastern edges of the Islamic State territory in Iraq. But air power alone cannot root out the jihadis from their heartlands in Syria, or indeed from their Iraqi conquests as a whole. This could only be achieved by ground forces.
Assad's army would certainly like to reunite eastern Syria with the rest of the country. But Assad's forces have been losing ground to IS in Raqqa province – the latest defeat being the loss of the Tabqa air base and the subsequent massacre of the garrison.
The Iraqi Army and its allied Shia militias would also like to win back the areas lost to IS, but there is no reason to believe that these forces at present have the offensive capacity to do so. The Iranians are probably in the process of seeking to transform these forces, in a similar way to that achieved with regard to Assad's fighters in late 2012/early 2013. Again, the Iraqi Shia are relevant only with regard to Iraq. But the IS heartland remains in Syria.
The United States lacks a clear strategy for how to deal with IS other than placing clear red lines before Erbil and Baghdad , and assisting the Iraqi army and the Kurds. And Syria remains largely off-limits, it would appear, despite the increasingly fictional nature of the border between Iraq and the country to its west.
There is no political will for the kind of commitment of western forces which could obliterate the Islamic State. And the Kurdish forces – both YPG and Pesh Merga – are interested in defending and maintaining Kurdish areas of control, not in offensive operations.
This means that despite the setbacks it has been suffering over the previous week, the survival of the Islamic State does not appear presently in question. The Islamic State will exist until someone has the ability and the will to destroy it. This time does not appear to be imminent.

2)- David Perdue want to repeal Obamacare and replace it with a plan developed by Congressman Dr. Tom Price, Orthopedic Surgeon, which enhances the patient doctor relationship and reduces cost to the public. Michelle Nunn just wants to "adjust" Obamacare. Obamacare is causing so many problems, and it hasn't ever been fully implemented. How can we make her our senator???

Fed Report: Obamacare Already Raising Consumer Prices

A new report from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York reveals that the Affordable Care Act is already having a significant impact on employers' healthcare coverage, employment, and even on consumer prices.

The report is based on the Fed's August 2014 Empire State Manufacturing Survey and its Business Leaders Survey of service firms, and ascertains "how the ACA is affecting businesses and how businesses are responding to the new legislation," the Fed states.

The manufacturing firms reported a median increase of 10 percent in their healthcare coverage costs from 2013 to 2014, and the service firms reported a 9 percent increase. Both surveys predicted a 10 percent increase in 2015.
Nearly four in 10 manufacturing firms said Obamacare has increased their per-worker health benefit costs "a little" this year, and 34.9 percent said "a lot." Among service firms, 38.4 percent said "a little" and 20 percent said "a lot."

Given the increased costs, companies are responding in a number of ways that negatively impact workers — 60.5 percent of manufacturing firms and 54 percent of service companies said they are making modifications to their health plans.
Among manufacturing firms that are making modifications, 73 percent are increasing employee contributions, as are 69 percent of service firms.

More than 84 percent of manufacturing companies making modifications report that they are raising deductibles, and 78.8 percent are increasing co-pays.
The survey of service firms that are making modifications found that 76.5 percent are raising deductibles, and 79.4 percent are increasing co-pays.

Equally troubling, 21.6 percent of manufacturing firms said they are reducing the number of workers they employ, 19.3 percent are raising their proportion of part-time workers, 19.3 percent are increasing outsourcing, and 36.4 percent are raising the prices they charge customers.

For service firms, 25 percent are raising prices, and 20.2 percent are increasing their proportion of part-time workers.

A report from the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia showed similar results, with many firms increasing their part-time workers and outsourcing, raising employee contributions to healthcare coverage, deductibles, and co-pays, and 28.8 percent are raising the prices they charge customers..

Hello.

Don’t recognize me?
I understand.

My name was Antonio West. I was the 13-month old child who was shot in the face at point blank range by two black teens, who were attempting to rob my mother; these two thugs also shot her.  I think my murder and my Mom’s wounding made the news for maybe one day, then disappeared.

According to Georgia law the black teens (less than 18 years of age) who murdered me will not face the death penalty... too bad.  It was me who got the death sentence from my killers instead all because my Mom didn’t have the money they demanded.

My family made the mistake of being white in a 73% non-white neighborhood, but my murder was not ruled a ‘hate crime’ like those others committed more recently were.

Oh, and just so you know, President 0bama didn’t take even a single moment to acknowledge my murder. I guess it was because he couldn’t have any children who could look like me - so why should he care?  I’m one of the youngest murder victims in our nation's history, but the media didn’t care to cover the story of my being killed in cold blood.

There is no white equivalent of Al Sharpton, because if there was he would be branded a ‘racist’; so, no one was rushed to Brunswick, Georgia to demonstrate and demand ‘justice’ for me; interesting, isn't it?  There’s no ‘New White Panther’ Party, either, to put a bounty on the lives of the two black teens who murdered me.

I have no voice, I have no representation, and unlike those who shot me in the face while I sat innocently in my stroller - I no longer have my life.  How's that for justice?

So while you’re out seeking ‘justice for Trayvon Martin or Michael Brown’, please remember to seek ‘justice’ for me too.

Tell your friends about me, tell your families, get tee-shirts with my face on them, and make the world pay attention, just like you did for Trayvon and Michael...I won’t hold my breath though; oh yeah, I don’t have to anymore.

3a)Congress mulls response to Ferguson with sense of urgency

By Mike Lillis -
When Congress returns to Washington this week from their long summer recess, lawmakers will waste little time weighing a legislative response to last month's turmoil in Ferguson, Mo.
The violent stand-offs that followed the fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager by a white police officer set off a firestorm of congressional criticism over the police response to public
protest.(B/S) though the saga has largely faded from the headlines, a number of lawmakers will resuscitate it in coming days in order to highlight various proposals designed to prevent
another similar incident.(FANNING THE FLAMES, SINCE THIS INCIDENT THERE HAVE BEEN SIMILAR INCIDENCES THAT DID NOT GET ANY HEADLINES OR MENTION IN THE
PRESS)
McCaskill's subcommittee will hold a hearing Tuesday to examine the Pentagon's 1033 PROGRAM, which arms local police with surplus military equipment.

Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.), meanwhile, is leading the charge in the House. The CBC member is poised to introduce legislation scaling back the 1033 program by banning the transfer of
specific military grade equipment – including grenade launchers, acoustic cannons and certain armored vehicles – from the Defense Department (DOD) to local police precincts. The bill
would also establish new reporting requirements designed to ensure that transferred equipment isn't lost, stolen or misallocated.
Johnson spokeswoman Carole Mumford said Friday that the bill is likely to be introduced the week of Sept. 16th. She said it has bipartisan support, but declined to name co-sponsors.
