Feet On Desk Head In Sky Obama Downgraded!
The Dept of Defense briefed the President this morning. They told President
Obama that 2 Brazilian soldiers were killed in Afghanistan. .
To everyone's surprise, he collapsed onto his desk, head in his
hands, visibly shaken, almost in tears.
Finally, he composed himself and asked, 'Just how many is a Brazilian?'
This is not surprising, since he obviously has no understanding of billion or trillion either.

You should listen to these two PJTV.Com programs:
"HAIR OF THE DOG: Another Day, Another Downgrade? Debt Grows as Dems Blame Math & the Tea Party
The friends of Obama hit the airwaves this past Sunday after the debt downgrade. Axelrod blamed the Tea Party. Goolsbee blamed math. Standard & Poor's blamed debt and entitlements. The GOP blamed Obama. Is it any surprise that America's debt was downgraded? "
"Minority Report: We're All Racist Republicans Now, Or How to Understand Obama's Plummeting Approval Ratings
Now that our country's credit has been downgraded and unemployment numbers remain far too high, can Republicans finally be allowed to criticize Obama without being called racists? On this week's Minority Report, Joe Hicks takes aim at the racism industrial complex that continues to flourish despite any credible evidence. Who's been pushing this tired narrative lately? Find out."

This from an old prep school classmate, long time friend, fellow memo reader and one time stock broker in the firm we both worked at for many years. He and his wonderful wife have traveled all over the world, still do and have probably been to every country of size on this earth.
This is his take on Obama and Obama's goal: "Repeating a thought from a year ago.
When the communist got control of Russia, their first economic act was to make the Rubble valueless. When Castro came to power in Cuba, he intentionally and quickly made the Cuban Dollar worthless. This destroys the assets of those who have managed to acquire wealth and it also destroys their power. It is an averaging down. It is social engineering. It allows government to have total control of both the economy and the individual.
This is Obama’s dream for America. Fellow travelers are sometimes called “Progressives” or “Liberals”. In this country they have control of the majority political party, the Democratic Party.
If you are someone who opposes Socialism for America, get involved politically or face a very bleak future."

Yesterday, I was privileged to hear a presentation by a truly thoughtful member of The House of Representatives. He is the Congressman from the 6th District of Georgia, a former orthopedic physician and a true expert on "Obamascare."
I had seen Rep. Tom Price being interviewed on TV before but had never met him.
His message was America is returning to Conservatism and Republicans must learn what Progressives already know - Incrementalism.
He made the comment that in the past the Republicans Party was not Conservative because many of its members were Democrats in hiding but now things were different. If the Republicans were able to run the entire show he was confident, through incremental legislative acts, they would reverse the tide and eliminate "Obamascare" and many of the restrictive legislative initiatives that are crippling our nation as well as change the tax laws. Price favors the flat tax.
One of the most thoughtful and intelligent presentations I have ever witnessed. Be on the look out for Tom Price.
A wonderful Conservative friend and fellow memo reader forwarded expanded notes from the meeting with rep. Price. (See 1 below.)

This from another dear friend and memo reader. He escaped Castro and is not a happy camper when it comes to Obama and the obvious disrespect he shows for the history in the Oval Office.
Reagan, it has been told, never came into the office without a coat and tie. (See 2 below.)

This from another dear friend and fellow memo reader: "All you Need to Know about Government Bureaucracy:
** Pythagorean theorem:....................................................24 words.
** Lord's prayer:...................................................................66 words.
** Archimedes' Principle:.......................................................67 words.
** 10 Commandments:.......................................................179 words.
** Gettysburg address:......................................................286 words.
** Declaration of Independence :........................................1,300 words.
** US Constitution with all 27 Amendments:........................7,818 words.
** US Government regulations on sale of cabbage:….......26,911 words.
SORT OF PUTS THINGS INTO PROPER PERSPECTIVE, DOESN'T IT?????"
Of loate I have been receiving more direct responses to my memos. I believe it demonstrates how ticked off people are. They are not only reading but are angry enough to respond.
I track who reads what I post on Googleanalytics and it is amazing.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------1) Here are notes from a meeting we conducted with Dr. Price, US Congressman, on Obama care...I think you will find them interesting....
The August 9 True Perspectives Seminar was led by Dr.
Tom Price, four term U.S. Congressman from Georgia
who is also Chair of the House Policy Committee. Preceding
Dr. Price’s talk, Georgia State Representative Dr.
Ben Watson gave a brief summary of the highlights of
Georgia legislation this year: a balanced budget, saving
the Hope scholarship program, and a meaningful immigration
enforcement program.
Rep. Price then gave a riveting indictment of ObamaCare
as an absolute needing repeal, starting with
vigorous defunding. It violates all six major principles of
medicine that have made the US healthcare system the
envy of the world. So why would Congress that did not
even read the bill want to revamp this one-sixth of our
economy?
A healthcare system should provide: 1. Access, 2. Affordability,
3. Quality, 4. Innovation, 5. Responsiveness,
6. Choices. ObamaCare fails on all of these.
The first feature that needs to go is the Independent
Payment Advisory Board (IPAB), which would be a 15-
person overseer of an inevitable rationing system, similar
to what exists in the UK.
So besides repeal of ObamaCare, he stressed that
something needs to be put in its place, as there are
some things that need fixing in our US healthcare system,
which the voters deem unacceptable to maintain
the status quo.
His solution was in the form of a House Bill 110 (Empower
Patients First Act, not out of committee yet as
Obama theatened veto). It contains four basic elements:
• More access to health care – this would be accomplished
with tax credits.
• Insurance improvements – namely portability and better
handling of pre-existing conditions.
• Keep medical decisions in the province of the physician
and the patient, not the government.
• Tort reform – needed to solve the nearly 25% of current
resources wasted as defensive medicine. Doctors also
need a safe harbor of no liability if following the recommendations
of the specialty area experts.
The Q &A session following produced more insights.
How do you encourage tort reform without violating Article
10 of the Bill of Rights limiting federal powers? Answer:
Any recipient of federal funds for any purpose can
get an exemption from tort suit as described in the safe
harbor feature above.
Will the Supreme Court find ObamaCare unconstitutional?
Answer:Yes, it is just a question of when. Ideally it
will be quick – by the spring of 2012. More likely it will be
in the spring of 2013 before the official beginning of the
main features of ObamaCare in 2014. It was fortunate
that the Democrats allowed ten years of tax increases to
pay for six years of supposed benefits, as that lead time
allows cancellation more easily.
What are the chances of entitlement reform if more than
50% of the public pays no income tax. Answer: Tougher
to get through, but an absolute necessity along with major
tax reform, as today’s system is very inefficient and
counter productive. He himself is a fan of the FairTax.
The answer on tax reform is to replace liberal congress
people with conservative ones not just Republicans.
We also need a tax holiday to repatriate the estimated
$3 to $5 trillion of corporate earnings stuck overseas for
fear of double taxing at 35% if they bring those accumulated
profits back now.
What other bills need to be repealed? Answer: Dodd
Frank. The reason? Any bill sponsored by those two
names deserves repeal just on the face of it? Plus the
2000+ pages in the bill have similarly not been vetted for
their unintended consequences on the economy.
Will the Super Committee (SC) be successful at getting
compromise legislation this Fall? Answer: He is not a
fan of committees outside the regular Congressional
structure, as the existing members need buy in, so he is
viewing the SC as a conference committee to reconcile
the Senate and House legislation. It’s just that the Senate
has no legislation, while the House has Cut, Cap and
Balance – ending in a balanced budget amendment.
Why are the cuts not really cuts, but merely bending
down some of the increases? Answer: The 1974 Budget
Act gave Congress that out, as a built-in structure. That’s
why a Balanced Budget Amendment is so needed to cut
through all that ingrained spending culture of Congress.
What is the ultimate solution to the Medicare underfunding
problem? Answer: Paul Ryan’s bill has it right, as
Medicare goes broke by as early as 2019. Give options
to seniors, and premium support variable by income levels,
to give the same options that Congressmen have.
As for Medicaid, give block grants to states to solve, not
mandates to spend as the Feds insist.
His overall perspective on the recent debt ceiling debacle
was as follows:
Take what you can get; the real change will only come
with the 2012 election when we take back the Presidency
and the Senate. Short term wins were: no tax increases,
cuts exceeding the debt ceiling increase, and a
forced vote on a balanced budget amendment in congress
this year. This will flush out the politicians who go
against the will of the overwhelming majority of voters.
Rep. Price then gave three strong pieces of advice to
Republicans for the near future:
• Engage in the political process – you can make a difference.
• Persuade your contacts back where you moved from to
do the same.
• Keep the faith and believe that you can change things;
your country depends on you.

2) Public Housing
The problem with public housing is that the residents are not the owners.
The people that live in the house did not earn the house, but were loaned the property from the true owners, the taxpayers.
Because of this, the residents do not have the "pride of ownership" that comes with the hard work necessary.
In fact, the opposite happens and the residents resent their benefactors because the very house is a constant reminder that they themselves did not earn the right to live in the house.
They do not appreciate the value of the property and see no need to maintain or respect it in any way.
The result is the same whether you are talking about a studio apartment or a magnificent mansion full of priceless antiques.
If the people who live there do not feel they earned the privilege, they will make this known through their actions.
These pictures below illustrates the point:
The Resolute Desk was built from the timbers of the HMS Resolute and
was a gift from Queen Victoria to President Rutherford B. Hayes.
It is considered a national treasure and icon of the presidency.
Mr. Obama, you are not in a hut in Kenya , or public housing in Chicago .
With all due respect, get your ***** feet off our desk!

3)Rove: Obama Arrogant, 'Disconnected' on Economy
By Hiram Reisner
Former presidential adviser Karl Rove says President Barack Obama displayed arrogance in the debt-reduction negotiations and his response to S&P’s downgrade of America’s credit rating shows he is “disconnected” from the fundamentals of the nation’s fiscal crisis. Rove also told Fox News’ Sean Hannity Tuesday Obama in recent months has wiped out his image as a strong leader.
“I think the debt negotiations and the downgrade and the president’s involvement in the former and his response to the latter show three things: They show first of all, the president is at times arrogant and disconnected,” Rove said. “Second of all, that he really is somebody who, while he can say the words, can’t do the words. That is to say, he can talk about the need to have a plan — and then not produce a plan.”
Rove told Hannity Obama’s responses to the nation’s fiscal malaise — or lack thereof — also show his policy to “spend our way to prosperity has come to a dead and screeching halt.”
“The president is unable to deal with that — and as a result, he’s stripped away over the last seven, or eight months in particular, a lot of the image that he had as a strong leader — and that’s the most precious asset a president has,” Rove said. “If we see a strong leader, it gives us confidence. If we see a strong leader, even if we don’t necessarily agree with him on everything, it gives us willingness to say, well, maybe he knows better than I do and I’m willing to follow him.
“But how the president has handled himself, particularly in the last 10 days, how he’s handled himself, if he is defeated, we’ll look back and say, this was the moment where things got locked in,” Rove said.
Hannity noted there are reports the Obama campaign’s prime objective is to make former Massachusetts governor and GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney look bad, because the president can’t run on his record.
“Look, for weeks — for months — it has been apparent with these lousy economic numbers, the only way the president and his people see that they have a path to victory is to radiate the Republican nominee, to take whoever that is, whether it is Romney or you name it, and . . . disqualify them in the views of the American people,” Rove said. “What’s interesting to me, is this comes from the president who denounced this kind of campaign in a fashion that I heard in 2008 — because he kept saying he was going to get rid of Karl Rove’s style [of] politics.
“But look, this is exactly what they are going to do — it is the only way that they can win,” he said. “And I hate to say it that conceivably, if we have a weak candidate with a weak response to this kind of thing, they could conceivably win,” he said.
