The Once Noble Nobel Now Ignoble!

Now that our messiah has been awarded the once coveted peace prize for speechifying it is unlikely he can do anything about Iran, not that he ever would have. Can't attack a rogue nation after winning such a prestigious award.

Two friends and fellow memo readers , one Conservative , the other Liberal, sent the following. (See 1 and 1a below.)

My response: This is a great tribute to a great peace maker. He has accomplished so much in his short life and think of all the speeches he had made. Alfred probably turning over in his grave along with Winny.


Actually the Nobel Committee's timing is exquisite. These are the same Norwegians that arranged Oslo, awarded the Peace Prize to Arafat who then followed with killing Israelis and Intifadas. .Their intent must be to ward off an attack on Iran.

Now Obama can just walk to Norway, cut down on airplane pollution and yes, we have to hear another speech.

Off to Pittsburgh to visit son, daughter in law and eat some Sweet Tammys baked goods.

1. He is not George Bush.
2. He took the side of the Arabs over the Jews.
3. He will allow the first Arab Bomb.
4. He is more European than American in his thought process.
5. To the committee, he looks like a black Jimmy Carter.


1a) The Nobel folks can’t be serious. This is the last thing President Obama needed.I don’t know Nobel history, I just know that the optics of this (for conservatives and for our rivals) are the last thing Obama needed.
