This may be one of the most complex memos I have tackled because I am going to try and mesh a host of issues relating to The Hamas War and it's consequences for America in view of our current leadership, Israel's leadership, the rise in anti-Semitism and other related issues etc.
You may not agree with the premise upon which I am basing what I write but I believe America is a weakened nation, a divided nation, a nation where the buck, that once stopped has spun out of control.
Our president is not only conflicted but weakened by health and age issues. Many critical agencies are distrusted deservedly so, ie. Justice, FBI, various intelligence agencies and the Democrat Party which is now controlled by fascists and radical haters. Our campuses have become parade grounds for students who have succumbed to propaganda spewed by vicious Jew haters, professors who embrace communism, are predisposed to treat their Jewish students in a biased manner and cowardly university administrators.
The mass media is inhabited by journalists who claim to be educated but find it easier to report in a biased manner and have become foot soldiers for the Democrat Party.
I never doubted anti-Semitism could raise it's ugly head but did not know when and what would trigger it so I am not surprised we are experiencing this virus in America. After all, ignorant, confused and depressed people, who have lost their sense of morality, lose their moral immunity system and become prone to adopt the belief everything is relative. They also reduce, commensurately, their belief in God and lessen attendance in their places of worship and this is true of all religious sects.
They also become vulnerable to the call for alternatives by progressives who are always dissatisfied with status quo.
Morality demands some things remain black and white whereas relativism allows for proportionality. The attacker, the weaker, the conflicted, the compromised benefit from the switch and bait siren call and the ensuing propaganda message in which it is wrapped. Victims enjoy a vastly diminished degree of empathy. Hamas attacks Israel, performs inhumane acts and their supporters reach back to find and embrace lies that justify a pass. Consequently, Hamas not only escapes blame but their heinous acts are actually defended as justified.
When a world is out of control, as I believe it is, the current war can only expand and no one knows what will be next. Obama, in my biased opinion, has to be gloating.
For all his empathetic rhetoric I do not trust Biden. Why is he not responding to attacks on our own forces? Is he waiting for one or more to be killed? Other presidents also failed to respond to American deaths caused by Iranian financed and armed surrogates. Not a good precedence and here we are some20 years later.
Our porous borders have become an invitation door to those who hate this nation. Why do they hate us? Because our form of government, our freedoms taunt and threaten their autocratic ways. Man was meant to befree. Man was meant to take care of his family and enjoy the fruits of his labor.
I fear we will not escape a terrorist attack and Israel, not Biden, might be blamed. Ironical? Perhaps. However, scapegoats become convenient when irrational thinking prevails.
Uncertain times produce predictable events.
What about Bibi? (see his attached op ed.)
Bibi is under attack for a variety of reasons which I enumerated in a previous memo. As I noted, I am not close enough to judge but I have friends who are and they have turned against him in the last few years and have cited their reasons which seem plausible. One particular long time friend is a professor who works closely with Israel and is a very stable rational thinker.
I believe Hamas was "propagandably" prepared to take advantage of the blowback emanating from their heinous attack but I seriously doubt Hamas leaders, or Iran, calculated Hamas would unite Israel. Prior to the attack by Hamas, Israelis were totally immersed in a debate about their Supreme Court's "unbridled" power and seemed unable to reach a compromise. In essence, the Israeli left was at war with the right (Haredi etc..)
The last thing Israelis need to do is drive BIBI out unless he demonstrates he is incapable of making the necessary decisions to ward off the spreading biased demands Hamas be allowed to win by default etc.
It is the changing horses problem...
Israel has few options and cannot fail to accomplish it's goal which eventually will include the defeat, not only of Hamas but also Hezbollah as well as the destruction of Iran's nuclear facilities and the end of the Ayatollah's rule. If Israel can be allowed to accomplish this tall order, Iranians will take to the streets and do the rest.
My fear is Biden will cave to his radical left, the amoral U.N, which we should leave but never will, will demand Israel back off and the haters might be allowed to win the propaganda war. An expanding war raises the prospect such will not be long tolerated. Recent wars are seldom won because they are run by politicians. The military is no longer in charge; lawyers and diplomats are. If The Korean, Viet Nam, Iraq and Afghanistan Wars are not convincing then what possibly does it take?
I rest my case, invite comments and hope I, at least, partially met my goal.

The Battle of Civilization
This isn’t only Israel’s war. If Hamas and Iran win, you will be their next target. But we will prevail.
By Benjamin Netanyahu
Until recently, many believed that the promise of progress in the 21st century would enable us to move beyond the barbaric horrors of the past toward a brilliant future—that we could go about our comfortable lives and that evil will simply pass us.
It will not. The horrors that Hamas perpetrated on Oct. 7 remind us that we won’t realize the promise of a better future unless we, the civilized world, are willing to fight the barbarians. The barbarians are willing to fight us, and their goal is clear: Shatter that promising future, destroy all that we cherish, and usher in a world of fear and darkness.
This is a turning point for leaders and nations. It is a time for all of us to decide if we are willing to fight for a future of hope and promise or surrender to tyranny and terror.
Rest assured, Israel will fight. Since Oct. 7, Israel has been at war. Israel didn’t start this war. Israel didn’t want this war. But Israel will win this war.
Hamas launched this war by perpetrating the worst savagery our people have seen since the Holocaust. Hamas murdered children in front of their parents and parents in front of their children. They burned people alive, raped women, beheaded men. They tortured Holocaust survivors and kidnapped babies. They committed the most horrific crimes imaginable.
Iran has formed an axis of terror by arming, training and financing Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen and other terror proxies throughout the Middle East and beyond. In fighting Hamas and the Iranian axis of terror, Israel is fighting the enemies of civilization itself.
Victory over these enemies begins with moral clarity. It begins with knowing the difference between good and evil, between right and wrong. It means making a moral distinction between the deliberate murder of the innocent and the unintentional casualties that are the inevitable result of even the most just war.
It means holding Hamas accountable for the double war crime it commits every day by deliberately targeting Israeli civilians and deliberately using Palestinian civilians as human shields. It means not only making clear that the use of human shields is an immoral tactic of war, but making certain it is an ineffective one.
As long as the international community blames Israel for Hamas’s use of Palestinian human shields, Hamas will continue to employ this tool of terror. Hamas will continue to use the basements in Gaza’s hospitals as the command posts of its vast terror tunnel network. It will continue to use mosques as fortified military outposts and weapons depots. It will continue to steal fuel and humanitarian assistance from United Nations facilities.
While Israel is doing everything to get Palestinian civilians out of harm’s way, Hamas is doing everything to keep Palestinian civilians in harm’s way. Israel urges Palestinian civilians to leave the areas of armed conflict, while Hamas prevents those civilians from leaving those areas at gunpoint. Hamas is preventing foreign nationals from leaving Gaza altogether.
Most despicably, Hamas is holding more than 200 Israeli hostages, including 33 children. Every civilized nation should stand with Israel in demanding that these hostages be freed immediately and unconditionally.
I want to make clear Israel’s position regarding a cease-fire. Just as the U.S. wouldn’t have agreed to a cease-fire after the bombing of Pearl Harbor or after the terrorist attack on 9/11, Israel will not agree to a cessation of hostilities with Hamas after the horrific attacks of Oct. 7.
Calls for a cease-fire are calls for Israel to surrender to Hamas, to surrender to terrorism, to surrender to barbarism. That will not happen.
The Book of Ecclesiastes says that there is a time for peace and a time for war. This is a time for war—a war for our common future. Today we draw a line between civilization and barbarism. It is a time for everyone to decide where they stand. Israel will stand against the forces of barbarism until victory.
I hope and pray that civilized nations everywhere will back this fight. Because Israel’s fight is your fight. If Hamas and Iran’s axis of evil win, you will be their next target. That’s why Israel’s victory will be your victory.
Regardless of who stands with Israel, Israel will fight this battle until it is won. Israel will prevail. May God bless Israel, and may God bless all who stand with Israel.
Mr. Netanyahu is prime minister of Israel.

As long as Jill wants to be in the White House, Uncle Joe will stick it out and everything will worsen. Also, I did not mention in my comments above, Republicans are committed to pursuing evidence of the Biden Family's corruption and Joe's AG shows no desire to bend and allow truth be revealed.
Finally, Biden is getting his wish as the Abraham Accord Nations get weak knee'd and pull away because they fear uprisings among their own and must show allegiance to the "crazies" by caving.
Yes, the world is volcanic and "hate is "belching" out all over." You could paraphrase with the great song from OKLAHOMA that sang about June.
What a sad pathetic world inhabited by even sadder cowards. God must be shaking his head if there is one.
