David Limbaugh offers solid advice both to Trump and blacks. The only disagreement I have with what David has written is asking blacks "what have you got to lose" was clever on Trump's part but he also needs to go into their churches, go into where they live and mingle. Republicans feel uncomfortable doing this, not because they are racist but because they don't know how to act and what to say having had little contact with blacks. They need to break the ice and assume blacks will listen. Finally:

Democrats are good at shoveling you know what. Hell, even Hillary tried black talk and made a fool of herself but she knew she had to get "down" on their level. I found it demeaning/disgusting.. She might as well rubbed their heads for good luck. Maybe her audience did not notice the insult. Also, maybe if they don't vote for Biden they will ignore the fact that he thinks they are not black .
All I know is conservatives have better answers and programs and are not hypocrites but they need to let their own hair down and humanize. What they have to offer is "tough love" but that is far better than syrupy crap.
LIMBAUGH: Trump Must Directly Appeal To African Americans
By David Limbaugh
During the 2016 presidential campaign, Donald Trump directly appealed to African American voters for their vote, asking them, “What do you have to lose?”
Trump should have received more credit for this, as Republicans have often been criticized for not wooing African Americans from Democrats, who crucially depend on their overwhelming support yet take their votes for granted.
Trump’s message was that blacks had entrusted their improvement exclusively to the Democratic Party, but it had failed to produce. He highlighted two critical areas in which Democrats had let them down: education and poverty.
He said that blacks “are living in poverty” and their “schools are no good,” and he pledged to do better by them, unlike Democrats, who offered nothing but empty promises.
The Democrats have never bothered to show how their policies are superior to the Republicans’ because they can’t. Instead, they’ve cynically cast Republicans as uncompassionate and, in many cases, racist. I’ve always assumed their scheme worked, because I can find no other explanation for the Democrats’ electoral vice grip on African Americans than the latter’s distrust of Republicans. Nothing else makes sense.
It’s no coincidence that Democrats have played the race card with even greater intensity in response to President Trump’s undeniable policy successes for African Americans and other minorities. Under Trump, African American unemployment was at a record low, and their wages were greatly improving prior to the virus-induced downturn.
Democrats always cite the same phony examples to make their case, such as that Trump is an immigration hawk because he doesn’t like Mexicans and other non-Americans. It’s all bogus, but it works, and it sure beats having to explain away their own policy failures and Trump’s policy successes. It is despicable and destructive.
Falsely accusing people of racism is a particularly egregious sin, not just because there are few smears more harmful to one’s reputation but also because it damages race relations, especially when the slander, like the sin of racism itself, is applied with a broad brush to an entire group of people — in this case, the Republican Party.
But why fool ourselves? The Democratic Party isn’t going to change anytime soon on this score, as evidenced by Joe Biden’s ghastly remark that African Americans not supporting him aren’t black. As such, a good friend of mine suggested to me that President Trump must follow up on his 2016 challenge to African American voters.
Normally, I’m reluctant for Republicans to target African Americans or other specific voter groups because it smacks of race consciousness and identity politics, and could be seen as patronizing and pandering, none of which has ever stopped Democrats. But as sensitive as the race issue has become, and as much as Democrats have painted Trump and Republicans as racist, it’s time this is addressed head-on.
Now he has a concrete record to tout, but he needs to sharpen his message to demonstrate how his policies were actually lifting African Americans out of poverty, and how the Democrats’ active neglect of black children in inferior inner-city schools has doomed many of them to lives of poverty, violence and crime.
Trump is particularly suited to this task because he has fulfilled his campaign promises to African Americans and he speaks from the heart, avoiding the double speak used by many politicians.
President Trump must accentuate the economic and education issues on which he campaigned, but he should also point to the civil unrest, crime, lawlessness and anarchy that dominates our cities today, and tailor his law and order agenda to black families who crave domestic tranquility as much as anyone else does.
Cities are imploding throughout the nation under mostly Democratic leadership, and they are inflamed with violence. Trump should turn the tables on Democratic politicians and make them answer for their abject policy failures and explain why they turn a blind eye to black lives lost to inner-city violence. Black families living in these troubled neighborhoods surely want law and order and peace and liberty as much as anyone else, despite the activists’ exclusive focus on instances of police misconduct. As for these rogue cops, which are a very small minority, it’s time that Democrats explain their unwavering support for the police unions that protect them. African Americans understand that defunding the cops would be disastrous, yet the Democrats’ answer is less law enforcement rather than more, which guarantees more arson, looting and death.
Trump should demand that Democrats answer why they aggressively oppose charter schools, school choice and other initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education for all people. Here again, are the Democrats working for African Americans or teachers unions?
My friend is right. President Trump, please take your case directly to African Americans and contrast your record with the Democrats’ incendiary and opportunistic rhetoric, and failed policies. Point out that, in fact, African Americans have very much to lose by supporting a party that has no answers for them, and that would enable more lawlessness and ensure greater inequality of outcomes.

Judicial Watch catches also:
This email is being sent to friends, relatives and acquaintances who are liberal and conservative for its message is not about which candidate has earned your vote, rather it is an urgent warning and call to action regarding a rapidly growing danger to our way of life. America, like every society, has areas that can and should be improved. Often times it takes a catalytic event to create the impetus for change such as recently happened in Minnesota. That tragic event unmasked and emboldened a movement that has been smoldering for years and that is now a clear and present danger to our system of government.
A portion of the American people are demanding change and are using their Constitutional “…right of the people peaceably to assemble…” to effect that change, and that’s a good thing. However in today’s circumstances anarchists are hijacking the movement for change and attacking the American way of life. Their actions are no different than what the Germans did in the ‘30’s as described in Wayne Allyn Root’s op-ed below and certainly going outside of what could be considered “peaceable assembly”. (I’ve taken the liberty of editing out passages in Root’s original text that I felt were partisan in nature) This hijacking can only exist if our elected representatives and law enforcement officials violate their oaths of office which contain the passage “…support the Constitution of the United States and the state of ______”. We hear politicians say “We are a nation of laws”, and we are. Our elected representatives and law enforcement officials are responsible for enforcing all laws; they have no right to select which laws to enforce. Yet we see city and state governments stand by idly as rioters destroy private property and take lives. In some cases, not just standing idly by, but actively refusing state or federal assistance to quell the anarchists. This passive idleness and/or proactively refusing to stop the madness emboldens the anarchists who keep expanding their impact just as the brown shirts did in Germany. Don’t say “It can’t happen here”, because it’s happening now!
Stopping this threat to the America our children and grandchildren will inherit is our responsibility; we no longer have the luxury of passively watching it happen because it may not be in our front yard today; it will be there soon. We must draw the distinction between Constitutionally protected protest and anarchy. The only way things will change is if YOU demand it, so here are actions we all can and should take:
1) read Root’s op-ed;
2) contact your local, state and federal representatives and demand they speak out against anarchy and take steps to ensure existing laws are enforced to keep peace throughout the country;
3) hold them accountable at the ballot box;
4) share this discussion with family and friends.
Let’s take politics out of this and do what’s right for our Country and our fellow Americans. It is up to us to make it happen.
Is America starting down the path of Nazi Germany?
Wayne Allyn Root on Jun 21, 2020
I cannot express how truly sad writing this op-ed has made me. But I'm a patriotic American. And I'm an American Jew. I have studied the beginnings of Nazi Germany and the Holocaust. And I can clearly see parallels with what is happening in America today, so I must warn my fellow Americans that we are clearly headed in a frightening and tragic direction. I know I'm not alone. A recent poll shows 80% of the American public believes things are spiraling "out of control."
I never thought I'd write the following words about living in America: Those caught in the middle of the recent "protests" in American cities, especially those seeing their businesses looted, burned or destroyed; seeing police stations burned or seized by radicals; or seeing their town's downtown business district taken hostage by thugs finally understand how Jews felt in Nazi Germany during the infamous Kristallnacht.
This is exactly how it started in Nazi Germany all those decades ago:
-- Windows shattered, stores looted and burned.
-- Black shirts roaming the streets demanding people kneel at their feet.
-- Censorship, book burning, snitching by neighbors and co-workers.
-- Media propaganda and manipulation.
-- The police and "good people" doing nothing to help.
Amazingly, it's happening here today. And far too many political leaders, media and "good people" are telling us it is acceptable. All of us are experiencing some aspect of this dark period in America's history:
-- Many of us don't fly an American flag at our homes for fear of violence or vandalism.
-- On the TV, we all see supposedly rational and respected people calling us racist solely because of the color of our skin.
-- Our free speech is monitored, censored, shadow-banned or outright banned by those who control social media.
-- Our great American history is being destroyed, denigrated or erased. Radicals are toppling the statues of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and even abolitionists -- heroes who bravely fought against slavery.
-- A black NASCAR driver can wrap his car with "Black Lives Matter," but an NBA announcer loses his job for tweeting, "All Lives Matter," and a Philadelphia newspaper editor is forced to resign for writing, "Buildings Matter, Too," as his city burns.
-- NFL superstar quarterback Drew Brees was forced to beg for forgiveness for saying he will always stand for our national anthem.
College football coach Mike Gundy was forced to beg for forgiveness from his players for wearing a T-Shirt with the name of the conservative One America News Network.
When did America lose its freedom of speech and expression? When did we decide to erase all of our history? Isn't that what ISIS does?
OPEN YOUR EYES. Study what happened in Nazi Germany during the infamous Kristallnacht. The night of Nov. 9-10, 1938, marked the beginning of the Nazis' attack on the Jews. Jewish homes and businesses were looted, desecrated and burned while the police and "good people" stood by and watched. Nazis laughed and cheered as books were burned. The name Kristallnacht refers to the litter of broken glass ... exactly the same as what we saw take place in major American cities over the past few weeks. How did they compare? See the blocks of boarded-up businesses all over Manhattan. See 700 buildings damaged, burned and destroyed in Minneapolis. See downtown Seattle run by a "warlord" and armed domestic terrorists with AR-15s.
In Paris this week, protesters chanted, "Dirty Jews!" The Marxist mayor of New York City has joined tens of thousands at a "Black Trans Lives Matter" event in Brooklyn while ordering parks and playgrounds for Orthodox Jewish children welded shut.
Today's version of book burning is HBO Max banning "Gone With the Wind," a photo of Winston Churchill "disappearing" from Google, Hollywood canceling "Cops" and "Live PD."
Yes, all that happened in just the last few weeks. You may not have heard about it because it was scarcely reported by the mainstream propaganda media.
Never forget the famous Holocaust lesson: After they have come for me, they will come for you, and there will be no one left to stop them.
Trust me, they're coming for all of us.
They won't stop. This will only get worse and out of control, unless we draw a line in the sand, stand up to the bullies and don’t let them change your mind on how America should be!

Ross Rants again:
The EU finally got its act together to agree a massive new stimulus funding using a never before tried EU bond issue. Up to now each country issued its own debt, but now it will be done by the group as a whole. In addition, there will be major increased budget expenditures. All of this is very helpful, but it does not deal with the underlying issues of chaotic politics in places like Italy and Spain, the vast cultural differences between nations, the weak banking system, and the restrictive labor and other over regulation that makes the EU non-competitive to the US and China.
In addition, the US controls tech along with China, with the US controlling much of the tech used by the EU. Ericsson and Nokia have good 5G products but there is no Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft. That is a huge problem for them and Trump is not letting them tax these companies, which is what the EU is trying to do to make up for their own failures to be able to develop competing businesses. It is good for the US to have all this extra capital to stimulate the EU economy, and all that extra cash sloshing through the world capital markets is good for the stock market. For now the EU will survive, but they still have the same underlying issues, and they still cannot compete with the US and China.
The US mortgage market is now strong. Housing is improving as mortgage rates are at a historic low below 3%. New home sales and construction should continue to be very strong from here on. Not only are rates so low, but there is a big movement out of cities to the burbs, and that will likely continue. The crime increases in the major cities is so out of control, so it will continue to drive out young families and retirees. There is only so much Trump can do to end the chaos, and it will take entirely new administrations in these cities to change things.
NYC still has the no bail laws which were a disaster, the end of anti-crime units, and they now have severe new constraints on how cops can use physical tactics to subdue violent criminals. Combined with the anti-cop rhetoric and policies of DeBozzo and city council, the police will see massive retirements and inability to recruit. Numbers of experienced cops will decline materially, and the end of the under cover anti-crime force ill just allow many more shootings. The attitude of the Portland mayor and government to attack the federal forces protecting government buildings, and trying to blame them for the massive violence that began 51 days before any federal forces arrived, just encourages even more violence as it messages, the city is standing with the ANTIFA and other violent groups and not with their own citizens.
In Seattle a group armed with bats and fireworks and other weapons raged throughout downtown. Instead of moving to stop them when they first appeared they were allowed to hit several areas of the city and intentionally cause property damage. Apparently the cops just let them move from area to area. It is mind boggling. These leaders even make DeBozzo look not as bad and dumb as he is. The Dems trying to compare the feds to Nazis and condemning them for arresting violent people is demented. It just further encourages even more violence. When this finally ends, Portland will be a destroyed city. How do you run a business there anymore. Who but radical leftists wants to live there with these nightly riots. Seattle is headed to the same place.
All levels of companies loaded up their ability to draw down credit lines and borrowing in Q2 to have cash on hand to survive. Now that money is being repaid and replaced with long term funding with long term bonds, convertibles and equity raises. This is actually good news in that companies are now in a much more sustainable cash position longer term to survive whatever happens. Deposits at banks increased by $2.2 trillion in the first half, triple any six month period on record. That means there is a huge amount of liquidity in the economy to help get us through. Very different than past recessions. The banks have materially increased their reserves which says that there will be a lot of struggle in business for the rest of the year even as the economy rebounds. A V is unlikely, but with a very strong banking system, and all that corporate and consumer liquidity, and a new fiscal stimulus providing even more to consumers, we will avoid another recession, and the economy will grow nicely into November.
The Fed is now beginning selling some of the loans it was buying. I do not know how much has been sold off, but if they are selling, that is a strong sign the capital markets have mostly recovered. There continues to be a massive amount of cash in the system and that is good for the stock market and economic recovery. There is still $100 billion unallocated in PPP. They need to put that out before there is another round of money not being demanded. There will still be segments of the economy that do not recover-travel and hotels. With the resurgence of the virus, it just makes travel more delayed and the big box conference hotels more unlikely to survive. Servicers continue to just let those defaulted properties stay with the current owners since they do not want the burden of ownership of a cash sucking asset. It will be a long time until big hotels can start to recover. Maybe mid next year when large number of people have been vaccinated.
Schools have to open. The teachers union has continued to resist, and that continues to seriously damage kids in exchange for their political agenda. The LA Teachers union is making all sorts of unrelated demands and refusing to budge and scaring parents. To hell with the kids if they can help defeat Trump. It is not much better in other major cities. The press has piled on as usual since it is anti-Trump by trying to make him look bad, when in fact it is doing grave damage to the kids. And then they wonder why there is a disparity in education of blacks. Women will stay home to care for kids, and not work, and in the end there will be a huge setback for women’s careers and participation in management ranks. Just some more damage the teachers union is doing for which society will pay for years to come, but the Dems will never act against them because they get so much money from teachers.
On the same subject. There is a vast and very powerful university industrial complex. More powerful than almost any other group. There are small and midsize colleges all over the country, and in many places they are the main attraction in an area. They nurture the local congressman. So that congressman never votes or talks against them. That is why change is so non-existent with universities. They are worse than the military-industrial complex we all hear about, and they use much more money than big corporations to get what they want.
Turning Point USA is a great organization working effectively to bring free speech back to campuses. They have now begun Divest U- it is a program designed to convince all donors to stop donating to their college until they adopt the Chicago Principles- as set of rules demanding free speech on campus devised by U of Chicago. After just two weeks they have already convinced major donors to defund over $18 million of large donations. Please stop donating to the schools until they stop the shut down of free speech. Contact Turning Point USA for more details. It is critical to shut off the money to force the schools to allow free speech and thought.
Big mall companies are buying up bankrupt retailers. While they appear to be getting deep discounts, it is far from clear they can make badly run retailers into a profitable operation again. JC Penny, for example, has been declining for years and nobody has a way to make it good again. The jury is out on how this all plays out. I have my doubts, but maybe a smaller operation, and new management can make a difference in some of these companies.
Active rigs are down 70% and oil demand has not yet risen to get rigs back into production. It will be a while before oil prices are back in the upper 40’s, or more, and the business is profitable. Meantime we will see a lot more consolidation and continued low gas prices.
Several people have asked what to do if Biden wins. I am not an investment advisor or tax lawyer, so I am not giving that advice. What I plan is to go all cash before the election if I think Trump loses and the Dems will get the Senate. I will pay whatever taxes I need to and preserve what is left before the market crashes if Biden is elected, and before taxes go way up, and cap gains taxes are raised or eliminated. There is a new Bank of America analysis that suggest the market will rise and capex will grow under Biden. It may be the dumbest and most naïve analysis I have ever read. Whoever wrote it must be a kid who drank the ideology in college.
When musicians try out for an orchestra it is done behind a curtain so the judges cannot tell if it is a white male or black woman. It is as race and gender neutral as it can be, and is 100% merit based. So the result is no change in number of blacks in orchestras. They tend to be outstanding for jazz, but not Bach. So now the NYT says it is unfair because there are no additional blacks being hired, and so they need to start hiring more blacks and Latinos just because they are black and Latino, not because they can play very well. Maybe using that criteria I can get to play for the Nicks since there are no old white guys on the team. Same logic. It is similar in STEM courses in universities. It used to be that you needed to qualify and earn your way up to be admitted to STEM courses at top schools. No longer. Now if you are black you can qualify without the all the needed prerequisites. That will lead to less qualified scientists and math and computer experts, not because they are black, but because they will not have the educational prerequisites to succeed, and class will be way over their head as a result. This is very bad for the future of science. I guess next time we need a vaccine we should call on minority scientists so we are inclusive instead of the ones who know how to create the vaccine.
Don’t despair yet. Trump is actually ahead or tied in polls of just men. It is the suburban women who are the issue. There is time and the polls have started to tighten, and this is before Durham in August and the debates, and more riots and shootings. The new Biden plan for home and child care has been priced to cost $8Trillion. That is on top of $2 Trillion for climate change. And he is just getting started. It is easy to see where your taxes are headed under Biden and why the economy and stock market will crash. A few hundred more shootings and Dems claiming Trump is a Nazi for wanting to send in Federal law enforcement, and things will change.
