Has Trump Boxed His Detractors Into A Corner? Thanks Obama! Is Congress More Dangerous and Costly Than Irma? - Male Logic Wins?

So much for Obama's "signature triumph",  everything he touched  has turned to crap!  Cuba learned this from the Russians.

Now that Trump has made a compromise deal with Democrats and accepted their plan to fund the government for three months, so hurricane relief flows, will Maxine Waters and the rest of the Demwits continue to attack him and accuse him of being crazy.  If so it would be a bit disingenuous and hypocritical because that would mean he is nuts to work with them and agree to their suggestions.

Will the anti-Trumpers continue their efforts to impeach Trump? Did Trump actually maneuver his accusers/detractors into a box/corner?

You may not like his personality. You may find his behaviour un-presidential (whatever that means since "Ole" Bill is still revered) or not to your liking.  However, he is doing everything he can, considering the political divisions, the swamp he must confront  and the mess he inherited to move his sensible agenda forward.

I still believe Trump will turn out to be a better and more effective president than the mass media will allow you to believe because they are so enraged over being wrong they cannot see, act and/or think clearly. We know they are biased and prone to lie. I also believe his achievements will top anything Obama claims to have accomplished since most everything Obama did was either unconstitutional and/or is falling apart/coming undone.

I would love those who disagree to name one thing our former dictator did that was positive/enduring.  His attitude towards police?  His efficient management of our deficit?  His military escapades? Improved race relations?  His successes in The Middle East and  with N Korea? Campus life? Manipulation  of our various agencies like the IRS?  Crippling rules and regulations? Enforcement of our border laws? Sale of weapons to Mexican drug lords and the various administration's efforts at cover ups and lies? Our vastly improved economy and rapid growth in GDP? The world's enhanced respect for and fear of America? The reduction in refugees flowing into Europe from The Middle East because of his red sand diplomacy?  I'm waiting.

Meanwhile, Trump's enemies are so consumed/blinded by their hatred they miss subtleties.

Thanks again Obama! (See 1 below.)

I received this in an e mail from Buddy Carter, my friend and Congressional Representative:

"If you feel that you may have been the victim of a scam or price gouging while in the aforementioned counties, please contact the Office of the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Unit. Call 1-800-869-1123 toll-free outside of the metro Atlanta calling area, or call 404-651-8600 inside the metro Atlanta area, or click here to report suspected price gouging online. Detailed information, including copies of relevant documentation and pictures, may be uploaded to this site."

I replied, we never get this warning regarding Congress and Irma, bad as she is, will probably do less damage than Congress does every month. (See 2 below.)

I may have won after all. By not rushing to go to Atlanta it now appears Lynn has agreed to go to our cousin's condo in Savannah and from there observe our next move.  Probably leave to go there after USA Tennis Open women's match today.

Male logic still has credible value.

1) The Next Middle East War

Israel and Iran are heading for conflict over southern Syria.

The Editorial Board

Israel launched airstrikes on a military compound in Syria on Thursday, and the bombing should alert the Trump Administration as much as the Syrians. They carry a warning about the next war in the Middle East that could draw in the U.S.

Israel doesn’t confirm or deny its military strikes, but former officials said they were aimed at a base for training and a warehouse for short- and mid range missiles. The strikes also hit a facility that the U.S. cited this year for involvement in making chemical weapons.

The larger context is the confrontation that is building between Israel and Iran as the war against Islamic State moves to a conclusion in Syria and Iraq. Iran is using Syria’s civil war, and the battle against ISIS, as cause to gain a permanent military foothold in Syria that can threaten Israel either directly or via its proxies in Syria and Lebanon.

Tehran has helped Hezbollah stockpile tens of thousands of missiles that will be launched against Israel in the next inevitable conflict. If it can also dominate southern Syria, Iran can establish a second front on the border near the Golan Heights that would further stretch Israel’s ability to defend itself.

Israel may have to make more such strikes in Syria because Iran isn’t likely to give up on this strategic opening. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards know they have Russia’s backing in Syria, and the U.S. is signaling that it is loathe to do anything to change that once Islamic State is routed from Raqqa.

“As far as Syria is concerned, we have very little to do with Syria other than killing ISIS,” President Trump said Thursday at a White House press conference with the emir of Kuwait. “What we do is we kill ISIS. And we have succeeded in that respect. We have done better in eight months of my Presidency than the previous eight years against ISIS.”

Great, but the problem is that the end of ISIS won’t bring stability to Syria, and American interests in the Middle East don’t end with ISIS. The danger of a proxy war or even a direct war between Iran and Israel is growing, and it will increase as Iran’s presence builds in Syria. Mr. Trump may not like it, but he needs a strategy for post-ISIS Syria that contains Iran if he doesn’t want the U.S. to be pulled back into another Middle East war.

What This Government Agency Is Doing To Children Will Make You Sick

The National Science Foundation is spending over $130,000 on a study that asks four-year-olds about their “internal sense of gender identity.”
A grant for a two-year study was awarded to the University of Washington this summer. The project will interview 250 children aged four to six, and their parents, asking a series of questions about “gendered behavior.”
“Prominent theories of gender development have discussed the degree to which gender identity results from an internal sense of gender and socialization processes,” according to the grant. “However, tests of these theories have been limited because, for most children, internal gender identity and environmental socialization substantially overlap, rendering it impossible to distinguish the relative impact of each factor on gender development.”
The study will investigate whether gender theories, such as Gender Schema Theory that blames society on differences between genders, are sufficient for today’s “wider range of human gender experiences,” where there can be anywhere between 337, and 58 genders
