Julie!

A quiet, good man has died.

He loved family and people and was loved by family and people.

He served his nation admirably and answered questions from his grandchildren but not until he was given a copy of "The Greatest Generation" did he talk openly of his experiences as a highly decorated medic in WW 2 (Silver Star, two Bronze stars, two Purple Hearts, Good Conduct Medal and various theater medals.) It was also then that he realized he was part of our "Greatest Generation."

This man was my father in Law. I and all the family and his friends will miss him.

Though he leaves a family void, I have nothing but the fondest of memories because Julie was a model father -in-law.

May God Rest his soul.

Dick
