2 dead, 5 injured in Jerusalem terror attackRamming attack reported at Jerusalem bus stop, leaving two dead, five people injured.

The attack occurred at 1:27 p.m. Friday at a bus stop in the Ramot neighborhood of the capital.
According to preliminary reports, the terrorist rammed his car into a group of pedestrians who were waiting for a bus on Golda Meir Boulevard, on the edge of Ramot near the Tomb of Samuel (Nebi Samuel National Park).
Witnesses say the terrorist has been neutralized.
Emergency first responders from MDA and United Hatzalah were dispatched to the scene to treat the injured.
Two children injured in the attack were initially listed in critical condition, with two other victims listed as being seriously injured, and two in moderate condition.
Two of the victims, including a six-year-old boy, later succumbed to their injuries.
"A car hit the people at the bus stop. Volunteers are currently performing CPR on a young boy approximately eight years old," said United Hatzalah CEO Eli Pollack. "Another man in his late 20s is in critical condition. We treated three other three people who were hurt in the incident."
Hadassah Mount Scopus Medical Center reported that one of the victims, a man in his 40s, was admitted with moderate injuries.
Four other victims were evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
"The scene was terrible when we arrived," said MDA first responder Shraga Rosenthal.
"We saw a vehicle near the bus stop that hit pedestrians that were waiting. We saw six victims near each other. Two of them were six-year-old children who were unconscious with severe multi-system injuries."
"A 27-year-old male and 30-year-old male were unconscious, and two further victims were conscious with limb injuries."
"We provided first aid, and performed CPR on the two children. This is a very serious incident.”
MDA paramedic Lishai Shemesh, who was in the area at the time of the attack, said: “I was in the car with my wife and children and noticed a car driving fast into the bus stop and crushing the people who were waiting there."
"I stopped at the side and immediately ran towards the victims. A security person neutralized the terrorist. It was a shocking scene, we saw several victims including 6-8 year old children who were lying unconscious. We immediately began to triage the victims and provide life-saving treatment. MDA teams were immediately at the scene in large numbers, and continued treatment while conveying to hospital. I joined one of the ambulances and we conveyed a 26-year-old male with a head injury in serious condition to Shaare Zedek hospital."

Those Abandoning Blue States Should Abandon Democrats, Too
A recent New York Post article declared that, in a "staggering exodus," in 2022, more residents of New York moved to Florida "than any other year in history." The article reveals,
A staggering 64,577 Empire Staters exchanged their driver's licenses for the Sunshine State version last year, according to figures from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
"They come in every day," a staffer at a Jacksonville DMV office told The Post this week with a weary laugh. "I hear all the complaints. I feel like a therapist sometimes."
The transfer of a driver's license from one state to another is considered a reliable metric for relocation, since such a decision suggests the move is a lasting one. The 2022 exodus from New York to Florida is a 39% increase from 2019 — the last pre-pandemic year — and an astounding 46% increase from 2017. New York is far from alone in the exodus that is plaguing America's blue states.
CBS News also recently reported on "the states Americans are moving to — and the states they are ditching." According to the article,
[t]he states that attracted the most new residents in 2022 are Florida, Texas, North Carolina and South Carolina, followed by other states in the South and West…
Florida was the biggest net gainer last year, with about 319,000 people migrating into the state, the NAR analysis found. California lost the most residents, with 343,000 leaving the state for other regions.
The map below, using data from the National Association of Realtors, shows the "net migration by population change" for each of the 50 U.S. states. As indicated on the scale at the top of the map, blue indicates a net increase, while red indicates a net decrease. The bluer states gained the most residents through state-to-state migration, while the redder states lost the most residents. (Unlike the image below, the map on the CBS News link above is interactive, so that placing your cursor over each state shows the exact number for that state.
As the map clearly shows, and quite unsurprising to those paying attention, liberal states — those run by Democrats — dominate the states with a net loss in population migration, while conservative states — those run by Republicans — dominate the states with a net increase in population migration.
In what is almost certainly an effort to cover for Democrats, CBS News practically ignores the politics of the Blue State Exodus and benignly points to "more affordable housing and plentiful jobs" in red states as the main reasons for citizens fleeing Democrat-dominated states. CBS News brushes off the idea that higher taxes in blue states are contributing to this mass exodus, and it fails to mention at all crime, COVID-lockdown policies, and the like as reasons for the growing number of "leftugees."
Much, and likely the vast majority, of the population loss in blue states is due to those fleeing even higher-taxed and more crime-ridden large U.S. cities. If you live in a blue state but reside in a rural area governed locally by those who are at least somewhat conservative, then you can be shielded a bit from the consequences of leftist politics and policies. However, if you reside in a large city within a blue state, then almost certainly you are suffering under rampant leftism.
There's little doubt that higher taxes are indeed playing a major role in the Blue State Exodus; however, crime is certainly contributing factor as well. As reported recently in The Tennessee Star, 11 U.S. cities were listed among the world's 50 most dangerous cities. All 11 U.S. cities are run by Democrats. Baltimore, Memphis, and Detroit are ranked in the top 20.
Crime-infested municipalities run by Democrats are far from a new phenomenon. In the past decade alone, I've written numerous columns detailing the crime and violence that plague the parts of America where the politics of Democrats reigns supreme and virtually unchallenged. As Fox News reported just last month, in 2020, 73% of all murders in America took place in just 5% of U.S. counties.
The ten counties with the most murders were
Cook County, Illinois, 775 murders
Los Angeles County, 691 murders
Harris County, Texas, 537 murders
Philadelphia County, 495 murders
New York City's five counties, a combined 465 murders
Wayne County, Michigan, 379 murders
Shelby County, Tennessee, 311 murders
Maricopa County, Arizona, 299 murders
Baltimore City County, 291 murders
Dallas County, 281 murders
Guess what each of the counties have in common. If you said, "Democrat leadership," you are correct! And it's not even close!
Tens of millions of American citizens suffering under the horrendous policies of Democrats continue to put Democrats in power, at an alarming and overwhelming rate. This is happening at the local, state, and national levels. For example, as a result of the 2022 midterms, in spite of crime, the COVID calamity (brought to you almost exclusively by Democrats), incompetent national leadership, inflation, and so on, for the first time in history, all county-wide offices in Shelby County, TN (home to Memphis) are now held by Democrats.
Almost certainly, many participating in the Blue State Exodus would never vote for a Democrat, or at least have seen the error of their electoral ways, and will not be making the same mistakes in the future. However, just in case there are "leftugees" who have yet to associate why they are fleeing their city or state with the policies of Democrats, as you escape from your Democrat-run "craphole," please also leave behind any notion of ever again voting for a Democrat. Your new neighbors would greatly appreciate it! Or perhaps simply remain where you are, and stop voting for Democrats!

The clamming up by the mass media is not only a disgrace but is unpatriotic. Most deplorables still obtain their news from the mass media and the mass media's failure as the nation's ombudsman is both a failure of their patriotic responsibility but a danger to freedom. However, if they cannot present the news in an unbiased manner perhaps it is appropriate they remain silent.

Biden’s silence on the classified documents is deafening

When will this scavenger hunt end?
That’s what Americans across this country are asking themselves as more classified material is found improperly stored by President Biden.
If the Biden administration had its way, you wouldn’t even know about it.
Let’s look at the timeline, what we know and why this continues to be a serious national-security issue:
On Nov. 2, 2022, President Biden’s personal attorneys found classified documents improperly stored in a closet at the Penn Biden Center. The next day, the National Archives took possession of the material.
The Biden administration remained silent.
On Nov. 4, the archives contacted the Department of Justice about the classified documents.
The Biden administration remained silent.
On Nov. 9, the FBI began to assess whether classified material has been mishandled in violation of federal law. On Nov. 14, Attorney General Merrick Garland assigned John Lausch, the US attorney in Chicago, to investigate.
The Biden administration remained silent.
On Dec. 20, Biden lawyers disclosed that classified documents from the Obama-Biden administration are in the garage at the president’s Wilmington, Del., home. The FBI traveled to the residence.
The Biden administration remained silent.
On Jan. 9, media reports finally shined a light on Biden’s mishandling of classified documents. Nearly three months after Biden’s personal attorneys first found classified documents and a consequential midterm election, the public finally learned of Biden’s mishandling of classified material — not from the White House but from the media.
One thing is abundantly clear: The Biden administration never intended to inform the American people.

No transparency
At one time, Biden promised to have the most transparent administration in history. I could make the argument he has the least transparent administration in history.
When it mattered most, the White House, National Archives and Justice Department failed to promptly inform Congress and the American people.

As chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, I have a responsibility to investigate this mishandling of highly sensitive information and what appears to be a two-tier system of justice.
For months, the National Archives failed to disclose to the American public that Biden stored highly classified documents in a closet at his personal office.
Instead of being transparent, the archives did not alert the public that Biden was potentially violating the law.
In stark contrast, the archives instigated a public and unprecedented FBI raid at Mar-a-Lago — former President Donald Trump’s home — to retrieve presidential records.
This inconsistent treatment of recovering classified records held by Trump and Biden raises serious questions of political bias at the agency. I sought answers from the National Archives.
On Jan. 31, the National Archives notified me in a transcribed interview that it prepared a press statement regarding the Penn-Biden Center classified documents.
However, it confirmed someone outside the National Archives suppressed the statement from going public. Only two have that authority: the White House and Department of Justice.
Why would the Biden administration keep the National Archives from being transparent with the public?
Who had access?
I am also concerned about who had access to Biden’s unsecured documents given the Biden family’s financial connections to foreign actors and influence-peddling schemes.
Oversight Republicans have been following the Biden family and associates’ money trail — consisting of international transactions worth millions of dollars — and seeking to provide answers to the American people. Everyone deserves to know whether the president’s connections to his family’s shady business deals occurred at the expense of American interests.
Did foreign business partners, through Hunter Biden, have access to these improperly stored documents?
The American people deserve to know. Instead, President Biden dismissively suggests it’s “stuff from 1974” without providing answers.
This scavenger hunt for Biden’s classified documents is likely far from over. In the meantime, Oversight Republicans will continue pressing for answers to inform legislative solutions to prevent this abuse of power.
