When the Coronavirus crisis has been resolved and the world returns to a semblance of normalcy I believe several significant truths will have been revealed:

a) The crisis began in China and China was successful in winning the propaganda war because they accomplished two important goals:
1) China was able to get America's mass media to let China off  the hook and blame Trump for America's inability to respond effectively.
2) China also came to Italy's rescue when it's European partners failed them.

b) When it comes to the truth:
1) China lied and withheld critical information that would have been beneficial.
2) Chinese visitors are to blame for the virus crisis in Italy.

The most important fact is that China is the world's greatest threat to peace and unrestricted commerce and the Coronavirus crisis should serve as a wake up call for all nations that seek to remain free.

c) We will also learn about mistakes made and how we can better prepare for future such events.

d) Chinese development loans (Silk Road Projects) are a threat to independent country's national sovereignty.  They are akin to Trojan Horses of prior history.  These enormous projects serve as an employment act for Chinese workers and their costs will make many nations economically subservient to China.  Furthermore, China's expanding fleet intends to control sea routes of world commerce.

The Naval War College's Publications have been discussing these events and interpreting their meanings for decades. Meanwhile, prior administrations ignored them. Nixon/Kissinger's overtures to China were deemed brilliant at the time and Broadway even embellished their diplomatic initiatives in a popular Broadway Play.

However, China remained a Communist governed land and used favorable trade opportunities to their advantage while the West slept.

Trump has sought to rectify this fact and the mass media and Democrats have been less than co-operative.
