I have been writing about this for years and so has former Director of The CIA, Woolsey. He was probably the last great head of that organization.  No one in Congress gives a damn it seems.

Another Trump pile on:

Trump returns from Iraq and Germany visiting the troops and he is attacked for signing campaign caps he may have brought over.  He was also attacked for going to a war zone and endangering himself.  He was attacked earlier,  of course, for not going.

He was also accused of going because he had a captive audience and could talk about the wall.

What he should have done is wall himself off from all the media he took with him.

I am constantly bombarded by several liberal friends who can't see but one side to Trump's Syrian withdrawal.  I did not agree with the idea nor did I like the precipitous way he announced it but he pledged, during the campaign, he would get us out of Syria, then gave the Pentagon Generals time to eliminate ISIS, which they did, and allowed them more time and apparently concluded the time had finally come.

Whether the decision will prove a good one remains to be seen.  I believe it sends the wrong message but time will tell.  Meanwhile,if ISIS reforms and  needs to be attacked we can do so from Iraq and I have no doubt he will authorize such.

My point is that I can disagree with Trump but still allow his view point and explanation to resonate.

Generally, when it came to Obama and I disagreed I also found his explanation equally un-compelling and did not hold water because he simply lied to cover himself as he did regarding the cash pallets in Iran, the disaster in Libya (Benghazi), the IRS cover up, the gun swap in Mexico, for starters.
