Bernie and all the other fools that worship him never read this:
"We are oppressed by a deadly fallacy. Socialism is the philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy. Unless we free our country while time remains from the doctrines of socialism, there can be no hope for recovery.” Winston Churchill

I have been told, from birth, America is a melting pot. Now that the pot is melting what do the liberals propose we do about it? They usually recommend we spend more money? Every one of their failed ideas is attributable to "if we only had spent more money."
Perhaps our desire to allow/promote differences has been carried beyond logic. A cohesive society is better than one that is melting or molting as ours seems to be.
There are certain cohesive attributes of accomplishing unity by having one language - English - by allowing states to have individual rights that are paramount and protected from a stifling and intrusive government. That said, Americans must come together and support furtherance of equal opportunities but reject the liberal embrace of equal outcomes. And when outcomes are not equal we can study them to discern if there is something we can/should do to narrow the gap but logic dictates it is better to accept the differences as long as the playing field was level. After all, even freedom should allow for failures and people must learn from and accept them.
To believe we can manipulate every outcome without destroying cohesiveness and unity is foolish and when the outcome is different yet, the opportunities were basically even, then it is time to move on, to seek accomplish-able solutions to other problems.
We have spent ourselves into the poor house seeking the illusive and what do we have to show for it? More poverty, less educated students, more broken families, more people on welfare, receiving food stamps and other government largess. Even a liberal should be able to realize there has to be something wrong with this model or are liberals so rigid they believe every dumb idea politicians and government bureaucrats conjure up is worth pursuing in the misguided belief it will work if we throw enough money at it? The Trillion Dollar War on Poverty should prove the insanity of this concept.
Is it too much to believe some problems are beyond solution? We must grow up and learn to accept reality and not become disgruntled and frustrated?
The founders wrote: " We The People of The United States, in Order to form a more perfect union...." They did not say perfect.
If Republicans lose the presidential election and both the Senate and House, is it logical to believe returning to the model of failure, which helped bring about Trump, is an acceptable and winnable strategy? To have a reasonable opportunity to win, since the opposition is so incompetent and their message so destructive, you would think party ideologues would take their collective heads out of the sand and climb aboard. Maybe they never heard of the dictum "divided we fall, united we win."
How many cuts can these ideologues endure and impose on others who are willing to organize, work hard with a goal of winning? Why is it Democrats can hold their noses, link and win while Republicans seem they would rather resist and limit their chance of winning?
Democrats have proven time and again they are more than willing to embrace bad ideas and fight for them. Why? Because history has proven, by wearing down their opposition, they generally wind up with part of a loaf and eventually the opposition loses its mooring and soul and turns into mushy clones.
Trump has proven the Republican establishment is akin to the Maginot Line. Their weapons are pointed in the wrong direction and their defeat is virtually predictable. Trump may not be warm and fuzzy but against cold and lumpy Hillary, the Republican Establishment needs to wake up and smell their rosy prospects.
In two weeks we will learn whether disgruntled Republicans can arise from their torpor and act in a mature manner and go out and win.?
If they cannot, then this melting pot of a nation must prepare for an extension of the damage Obama has wrought as it is ruled by a liar who used her office to enrich herself and has been placed above the law by a mortal who sought to enhance his own position.
That is a far more tragic scenario than the election of a man who is not a politician and has, avowedly, many flaws.

ISIS KILLING SPREE TURNS INWARD AS SIX OFFICIALS BEHEADED, SEVEN DESERTERS BOILED ALIVE
By ARIELLA MENDLOWITZ
The Islamic State has brutally executed over a dozen of its own fighters this week utilizing unprecedented, gruesome forms of torture to do so.
On Monday, seven ISIS militants were bound tightly by the hands and feet before being thrown into a giant cauldron of boiling water. According to MailOnline, the terrorists had fled an Iraqi battlefield in the heat of the conflict which took place in Sharqat in the Salahuddin province.
A truly horrific way to die, this is not the first time ISIS has used boiling water to torment others. A teenaged Yazidi girl who had been held prisoner by ISIS told Mail Online how her captors would often pour boiling water on her thigh if she refused to perform her ISIS rapists’ depraved sexual commands.
These seven were not the first to escape amidst an ongoing battle. Just last month, 19 ISIS soldiers fled amid battles against security forces in al-Shuhada and al-Nassaf in Central Fallujah, according to an unnamed informant who spoke with the American Herald Tribune. As punishment for their mutiny, the absconders were issued the death sentence by the ISIL court and were subjected to a firing squad, dying from bullets through the head.
Another six ISIS combatants were ruthlessly beheaded on Wednesday on charges of “treason”. Local sources told ARA News that the terrorist group had arrested six of its own security members of the al-Hisba department in the Iraqi city of Mosul on suspicion of passing information to the coalition.
“The ISIS leadership suspected that the al-Hisba members were leaking confidential information to the western coalition–whose airstrikes have recently killed top jihadi officials. After interrogation, the Mosul Sharia Court issued a decision to publicly execute the six suspects,” media activist Abdullah al-Malla told ARA News in Mosul, citing an ISIS official.
The six jihadists were then “beheaded in front of dozens of ISIS officials in central Mosul,” al-Malla divulged.
Wednesday’s beheadings came just a few days after the US-led coalition against the terrorist group carried out airstrikes on ISIS headquarters in northwestern Iraq, killing dozens of militants, including top Islamic State leaders.
“More than 30 ISIS jihadis were killed in the past two days, including top ISIS officials like Hamdouni and al-Bajjari,” local media activist Farad Mirani told ARA News.
The recent series of successful airstrikes against ISIS jihadis led the group to suspect that several of its own members had been secretly passing along confidential information regarding their leaders’ whereabouts.

The Palestinian Incentive Program for Killing Jews

By Eli Lake
Whoever said crime doesn't pay hasn't talked to the family of a Palestinian terrorist. For the Palestine Liberation Organization and the related Palestinian Authority, the killers of Jewish Israelis are considered "martyrs." And as such, their families are paid for the service these murderers have done for the Palestinian cause.
This has come to light this week after a Palestinian, Mohammed Tarayra, stabbed Hallel Yaffa Ariel, a 13-year-old Israeli girl, as she was sleeping in her bed. The stabbing was part of a wave of attacks by Palestinians who have for nearly eight months been shooting, stabbing and running down Jews with the encouragement of social media and popular songs.
According to the latest report of the Russian, European, U.S. and U.N. group known as the Quartet, there have been 250 of these kinds of attacks since October. It says, "These terrorist attacks, which have been carried out mostly by young, unaffiliated individuals, contribute to the sense among Israelis of living under constant threat."
But this misses important context. The Quartet's report, which is even handed to a fault, makes no mention of the "martyr's fund," through which the Palestinian Authority and the Palestine Liberation Organization pay the families of all Palestinian prisoners and the families of martyrs. So while there is no evidence that the Palestinian government plans these killing sprees, it encourages them as a legitimate act of resistance.
As Commentary's Evelyn Gordon wrote this week, the prisoners and the families of the prisoners themselves are actually paid a higher wage than what most Palestinians earn for nonviolent work.
The origins of these payments goes back a long way. Before the Palestinian Authority was established in the 1990s through the Oslo peace process, the Palestine Liberation Organization paid the families of "martyrs" and prisoners detained by Israel. That practice became standardized during the Second Intifadah of 2000 to 2005. The Israelis even found documents in the late Yasser Arafat's compound that showed payments to families of suicide bombers.
For years the Israelis and the Americans didn't do much on this issue. The Israel Defense Forces work closely with Palestinian security services to keep the peace in the West Bank. Meanwhile, the Bush and Obama administrations have pressed both sides to restart negotiations over a final status.
This is starting to change. On Friday, Israel's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, announced that he would begin withholding part of the tax revenue that Israel sends to the Palestinian Authority -- equal to the amount paid to "martyrs."
Frank Lowenstein, the U.S. special envoy for Israeli-Palestinian negotiations, told me the U.S. has recently started withholding funding for the same reason. "We have robustly complied with legislation passed in 2014 that requires us to deduct from development assistance to the Palestinian Authority for Palestinian payments to individuals imprisoned for acts of terrorism," he said. The amount of development assistance that has been withheld is classified.
The Palestinian Authority seems to be aware of this and has figured out ways to hide these payments to the families of murderers, by creating new accounts. Senator Dan Coates, a Republican from Indiana, has introduced new legislation aimed at closing this loophole.
One problem is that the payments to terrorists' families are exceedingly popular these days. Ziad Asali, the president and founder of the American Task Force on Palestine, told me that in recent years the media and politicians have elevated these payments to something "sacred in Palestinian politics." Asali said the Palestinian Authority president, Mahmoud Abbas, and others are too weak to stop it. "This is where we find ourselves now. The vast majority understand there has to be an end to violence; it's not serving the Palestinians in any way," Asali said. "But I think nobody really has the stature and clout to confront these issues publicly."
Asali is getting at one of the many tragedies today for the Palestinians. Abbas came to power initially after he condemned suicide bombing and terrorism during the Second Intifadah. His bravery at the time to confront Arafat earned him a reputation as a peacemaker and is one reason President Barack Obama has never publicly criticized him with the same ferocity he reserves for Netanyahu.
But today Abbas is in the 11th year of a four-year term as president. He has made some vague statements opposing the recent wave of violence. But he never condemns the murderers by name. Meanwhile, his own Fatah Party glorified Tarayra on its official Facebook page.
No wonder the killer's family is so proud of him. His mother told a local news outlet: "My son is a hero. He made me proud. My son died as a martyr defending Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque," according to a translation from Palestinian Media Watch.
Israel's alleged peace partner appears to agree. If the past is precedent, she will receive a steady check to honor her son's murder of a 13-year-old Jewish girl in her sleep.
