My choice for Trump's Vice President is totally implausible and is Sam Nunn. Here are the pros and cons and thus, why unlikely to happen if even considered:
Positives:
Sam is respected within the Halls of Congress
Sam is knowledgeable regarding nuclear arms etc.
Sam understand the needs of The Pentagon.
Sam knows many of the world's leaders
Sam has a record of integrity
Sam is very bright and is a decent person
Sam has a moderate temperament
Sam is a centrist and commands respect among the business community and many of its most prominent members as a result of his service on some of America's most prominent boards, ie Buffet etc.
Sam proved he could work with opposition members
Sam's acceptance would sweep away much of the arguments about Trump being an unstable bomb thrower etc.
Sam's influence upon the Democrat Party helped set the stage for Bill Clinton's election
Negatives:
Sam would never leave the Democrat Party
Sam lacks charisma
Sam is not young
Sam voted against the Gulf War, Bork and Thomas
Sam and Donald have no relationship
In the interest of public disclosure I urged Sam to run for the presidency in the '70's but he did not have the fire in his belly then and probably that flame, if there ever was one, is totally dead.

There are those who believe Dinesh D'Souza is a kook and the Obama administration were concerned enough to have him indicted and sent to jail. Consequently, he must be alright. You can decide for yourself. (See 4 below.)

1) Gun Control
By Erick Erickson
A terrorist goes into a nightclub in Orlando and kills dozens. The President rushes out to make sure everyone knows it is a hate crime and we must have gun control. In Dallas, a man guns down police officers and the President rushes out and will not call it a hate crime, but declares we must have gun control. In addition to admitting he classifies hate crimes based on the victim’s class, not the intent of the killer, the President admits he has no ideas but gun control.
Like the solution always being the same whether the left believes we are in global cooling or global warming, the solution to every terrible act in America is gun control.
There are more than 300 million guns in private hands in the United States and more than 2 trillion rounds of ammunition in private hands. What we are seeing is not an out of control gun problem. In fact, mass shootings in the United States have fallen so much in the past century that the political left has insisted we redefine what a mass shooting is. It is all in the name of gun control.
The left will not talk about mental illness. The left will not talk about radical jihadism. The left only wants to talk about gun control. There is a very easy way to understand the explanation for this phenomenon.
For the left to talk about mental illness or radical jihadism or black on black crime or any other topic directly related to these episodes of mass violence, the left would have to explore the nature of morality and human depravity. But in the last century, the left has grown so secular that it no longer recognizes a shared morality and rejects the idea of human depravity.
Conservatives look on these acts, whether it be Baton Rouge, Ferguson, Orlando or Dallas and they see a world in moral collapse and struggle between good and evil. Black families have crumbled. Black fathers are in jail while the mothers struggle to keep the family together. Unemployment among black youth is high and people of faith understand that there is something soul nourishing about work. Even in the Garden of Eden there was work.
But we cannot even talk about the Garden of Eden because the left laughs it off. Morality, faith, prayer, and concepts of good and evil are all rejected by the left. So they grasp for something on which they can make a principled stand and it is gun control and the erosion of a right the left refuses to recognize in the second amendment.
Secular reporters lament that there are too many guns in America, but they will not admit there is too much moral decay. In fact, they not only revel in the moral decay and defining deviancy as normal and normal as deviant, but they expect the rest of us to do the same. If you uphold natural law or moral law, you are a bigot.
Because they cannot talk about a morality they no longer recognize the need for a God they long ago rejected. They are forced to insist more laws will solve problems. It is the metaphysical equivalent of the religious believing more prayer will solve problems. When God is traded in for government, prayer gets traded in for law. The more laws there are, the better off we will be because government is our god now.
The left is incapable of solving the problems of racism and mass violence in this country because the only solution they have is more government. And more government just means more sinners in charge and more sinners is never the answer to any problem. But a left that rejects the notion of sin and human depravity is incapable of understanding that and instead lives in a self-created fantasy land where we are born gay or straight, but can decide to become boys or girls, and when straight boy marries straight girl then straight boy decides to become a girl, his born straight wife is a trans phobic bigot. People who believe such nonsense will never be able to substantively deal with the horrors of our age.
So gun control is the only solution they will/can offer.
1a)The story is basically: According to the Bible, Genesis is the very first chapter both the old and the New Testament. God created the Universe, Heaven, Earth animals fish birds etc. etc. He than created man.
He looked at his creation and said "it was GOOD." Rabbis comment He did not boast about his accomplishment like this is spectacular, outstanding. Just good.
He subsequently created a woman to complete the plan for Humans to populate this Paradise.
He than took a day off to rest.
Humanity took over and became the caretaker. Along the way came some guide lines for the humans to think about. How to coexist with each other. Basic rules of engagement.
The future and responsibility is in the hands of Humans. The matter of Faith, Prayer, Belief develops and Humans were off to the races.
History is our track record. Krauthammer's measurement is civilization moves forward some times backwards all in human hands. Remarkable longevity for humans has evolved. All decisions are in everyone's hands. My guess is most people do not understand that.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry was set to arrive in Israel on Sunday and meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, marking the first visit by an Egyptian foreign minister to Israel in nearly a decade.
Netanyahu announced Shoukry's impending arrival in a statement at the start of Sunday's cabinet meeting.
"The visit today is important in many ways," Netanyahu said. "It shows the change in relations between Israel and Egypt, including [Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah] el-Sissi's important call to advance the peace process both with the Palestinians and with Arab states."
Netanyahu said he would hold two meetings with Shoukry on Sunday -- one in the afternoon and another in the evening.
The last time an Egyptian foreign minister visited Israel was in 2007.
Netanyahu thanked special envoy Isaac Molho for his role in coordinating Shoukry's visit to Israel.
Egypt's Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Shoukry's visit was part of a push by Egypt to build confidence between Israel and the Palestinians with the ultimate aim of resuming direct talks to reach a comprehensive peace agreement that would give the Palestinians a state and Israel security.
"The foreign minister will hold extensive consultations during his visit with ... Netanyahu aimed at addressing many files ... with a focus on the Palestinian issue," the Egyptian Foreign Ministry statement said.
Last month, Shoukry met with Palestinian Authority officials in Ramallah.
In 1979, Egypt became the first Arab state to sign a peace treaty with Israel. However, ties have remained mostly cool over the decades. During Operation Pillar of Defense in 2012, Egypt, then ruled by Islamist President Mohammed Morsi, recalled its ambassador from Israel.
But relations have warmed since el-Sissi came to power in Egypt in 2013. In light of the improved ties, which are based largely on shared regional interests, Egypt sent a new ambassador to Israel at the start of this year.
In a speech in May, el-Sissi called on Israel and the Palestinians to seize the opportunity to make a historic peace agreement that would "bring stability to the Middle East."
In response to el-Sissi's speech, Netanyahu said, "I welcome Egyptian President el-Sissi's remarks and his willingness to make every effort to advance a future of peace and security between us and the Palestinians and the peoples of the region. Israel is ready to participate with Egypt and other Arab states in advancing both the diplomatic process and stability in the region. I appreciate President el-Sissi's work and also draw encouragement from his leadership on this important issue."
