The screwing of Bernie Sanders by his own party

Another comment from a very dear friend and fellow memo reader, relating to what I posted in a previous memos: "Thanks for sending the Jennings and Noonan articles. There are certainly different laws for the "in" crowd. I could just imagine Martha Stewart's reaction when she heard there would be no charges brought against Hillary. Wonder if she would be a good public proponent for Trump, middle class women follow everything she does.
Haven't yet read your earlier email as to Trump's speech last night but you nailed it below, he needs to learn to shut up. Imagine the three debates ahead will be the most watched ever. Unfortunately, will miss the first one (on a ship in the Med) but will be tied to the screen for the other two.

Hillary favored The Iran deal and still does because Obama would not support her if she disavowed her support. Her V.P pick also voted for it and favors J Street as well.
Then we have the newly released e mails by Democrat insiders talking about whether they should besmirch Bernie and his religion.
How any Jewish voter can support them is beyond me.
With respect to the Iran Deal when a nation's leadership say they want to annihilate you and is building the means to do so, one would think you should take them at their word unless you are a masochist and like to bury/lose your head.
They need to see the ancient movie "Ship of Fools."
Dinesh was deemed a threat by Obama so former AG Holder pursued and sent him to jail, then upon his release the judge made Dinesh wear an ankle bracelet, and do 60 months of public service for lying about an illegal political contribution. His response to all of this effort to silence him and the opposition to the Clinton's is this movie.
Liberals have sought to smear Dinesh, which is what they do when anyone speaks out in ways they deem threatening to them and their views. This is what they do. It is known as character assassination. Hillary walks free, Dinesh wears an ankle bracelet. Hillary trades her position and office for money and is careless with state documents and Dinesh lies about a campaign donation. The former threatens our nation's security, the latter threatens Liberals. Dinesh has been targeted as the leader of Hillary's Right Wing Conspirators!
Double standard? Not in the minds of liberals. Liberals are comfortable placing the Clinton's are above the law and those who threaten them are beneath the law and thus contemptible. This is not a double standard. In their mind this is justifiable retribution.
Is this what "Don't Tread on Me " has come to mean?
As for the movie, "Hillary's America" only conservatives will go to see it because its tells the history of the Democrat Party and connects them to their consistent efforts to subjugate the very blacks they claim they care about.
The movie links a variety of trends that, for many, might demand a leap of faith which few Liberals could ever bring themselves to believe or make because it undercuts all they profess they stand for and constantly spew. The movie is devastating in affirming the ruse Democrats have consistently perpetrated upon black Americans whose votes have been bought with tax funded transfer programs and various entitlements etc.
The movie ends with a very disconcerting message that were Hillary to be elected her corrupt practices will be turned on America and the Clinton's theft will only spread.(See 1 below.)

Meanwhile, Jason Taylor correctly discusses the obvious. Trump would rather pick a fight with Cruz than run for president.
Trump is a counter puncher and that is what has endeared him to so many. Second, he is passionate about defending his brand. His mistake is that The Trump Brand must become secondary to the America Brand now that he has chosen to run for the presidency as his party's nominee.
Picking a fight with Cruz is simply resurrecting the dead and serves no purpose and is even detrimental because is shows bad judgement and temperament. (See 2 below.)

Sent to me by a dear friend, a neighbor and fellow memo reader.
"I GOT MY CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT YESTERDAY MORNING.
In the afternoon, I went over to the local Bass Pro Shop to get a 9mm handgun for home/personal protection.
When I was ready to pay for the pistol and some ammo, the cashier said, "Strip down, facing me."
Making a mental note to complain to the NRA about the gun control wackos running amok, I did just as she had instructed.
When the hysterical shrieking and alarms finally subsided, I found out she was referring to how I should place my credit card in the card reader!!!
As an intelligent senior citizen, I do not get flustered often. But this time, it took me a while to get my pants back on.
I've been asked to shop elsewhere in the future. They need to make their instructions to seniors a little clearer.
I still don't think I looked that bad...........Just need to wear underwear more often!"

I am allocated one letter a month in the local paper but I send them more. This is one I wrote Saturday that is not likely to get published because they printed my one liner about Comey earlier in July. (See 3 below.)

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++1) This was sent to me by a dear friend and fellow memo reader: "Last night I saw “Hillary’s America”. It is very informative and about the origination of the Democrat and Republican Parties, the history of slavery and the political process; as well as Clinton’s history. It is well done. Dinesh D’Souza puts his life on the line with this movie. His last movie, “America” put him in jail with a charge that he donated more than the allowed amount to a person running for a minor political office..."

Spare me all of your righteous indignation of Senator Ted Cruz’s convention speech. Clearly, neither adherence to conscience or the United States constitution is to be tolerated in Trump’s Republican Party. Cruz was expected to kneel, regardless of the numerous statements he made to the contrary. To ensure the desired outcome, there were to be threats leveled and incentives lured. In the event he still refused, he was to be shunned and humiliated in front of his colleagues, supporters and the entire nation,

Forget the General Election,Trump Prefers Fighting Ted Cruz. |

In the event he still refused, he was to be shunned and humiliated in front of his colleagues, supporters and the entire nation,
So when Cruz did not conform, the media overlooked the well-orchestrated reality show theater and blamed Cruz. The RNC and GOP establishment (who surely conspired with Trump to sabotage their own convention) know the this all too well. The beltway press never passes-up the opportunity to attack the character, motives, and true intentions of a principled conservative. Principled men and women do not “go along to get along” as is required to be liked and respected in Washington DC.
Trump is not a principled man. Therefore, he is not expected to be truthful or dignified. So when Trump came out on Friday to level the same tabloid conspiracy-theories against Ted Cruz’s father, the media did not immediately convene a panel of pundits uniformly outraged at Trump’s lack of decorum and accuracy. Elected GOP officials and party loyalists did not rush to the nearest microphone to express their disgust at what Trump had done. No one was demanding Trump apologize to their fellow Senator. Nope — Nothing besides a few chuckles at the absurdity of Trump’s behavior, and mass confusion as everyone knows this only helps Hillary Clinton.
I do not pretend to know Trump’s true motives here. All I can tell you is that his actions suggest he’s not much interested in winning the General Election against Hillary Clinton or down-ballot democrats. Instead, it seems Mr. Trump prefers fighting the Republican Senator from Texas, and primary rival, Ted Cruz.

3)The editorial Board of The Savannah Morning News writes "Anger Is Trump's Unifying Theme " and even The Wall Street Journal's Editorial Board stated Trump is "The Dark Knight."
I submit there is justification for a dour view of America at this time and the argument Trump made is mostly legitimate and therefore anger and dissent are rational and legitimate feelings.

We are more divided along racial lines, we have a president who has encouraged war against police. The administration has lost The Middle East to Russia and ISIS, we are less respected and/or feared, and Obama did allow Iran to slip off the hook and he has weakened our military and failed to protect our citizens from home grown terrorist episodes. Yes,our borders are porous, our economic recovery is one of the more pitiful in recent history and we cannot go to the doctor Obama promised we could and our fiscal position is pitiful as our debt mounts.
If my children brought home such a report card I would be most upset so discontent seems both rational and justified.
As for Trump, he may have over pledged he is the solution but we will not know unless he is elected. Leadership can work wonders by instilling a feeling of pride and security and we are a can do people when properly challenged, led and motivated.
Trump offered a brighter day by stating he and those he appoints will institute better trade deals and will get the economy on track and producing jobs and what is wrong with the idea of enforcing laws equitably after witnessing the double standard meted out recently regarding Hillary's careless ways regarding her handling of national secrets?
Is there anything wrong with a nation protecting its border? Is there anything dumb about vetting immigrants seeking asylum who come from areas in the world were terrorists have sworn to infiltrate America and kill Americans? What is wrong with recognizing we are racially divided and attributing some of the problem to poor schools, broken families and taxes and rules and regulations that strangle and dissuade domestic capital investments
I would welcome a teacher who took the time to discuss my children's tragic report card results and offered to help where improvements were possible.
Perhaps the knee jerk reaction of The Savannah News and Wall Street Journal to Trump's pomposity and other boorish acts have clouded their own vision and caused them to be downers themselves.
Maybe these two editorial boards need to re-examine their own thinking and be more objective and upbeat.
I would be the first to admit, Trump has his faults but alongside Hillary, Donald, yellow hair and all, and Pence are looking more golden with the passing of each day.
