Special Interview with Amb. Friedman: 'There is a path forward - full Israeli sovereignty'
Former US ambassador to Israel David Friedman analyzes the course of the war and the hopes for the future of the Middle East in a special interview with Arutz Sheva - Israel National News.
By. Amb, David Friedman
David Friedman, former US ambassador to Israel spoke with Arutz Sheva - Israel National News in a special interview for Pesach. Friedman will be the Honorary Chairman of the upcoming Arutz Sheva Jerusalem Conference in New York, to be held along with the Celebrate Israel Parade on June 2nd.
Take us back to October 7th, what do you remember from that day?
“In the first couple of days, I was focused on two things - the loss of life and the hostages. It was like nothing I'd ever seen before, and I was just overwhelmed. I had small grandchildren with me, and we were running in and out of shelters the first few days. They're asking me, why are people trying to kill us? They don't even know us. They don't know who we are. We've never done anything to them. Why are they trying to kill us? The answer was - like it’s been in other places - because we’re Jewish.”
What’s changed six months later?
“There has been some return to normalcy, but it's not the same. There's a huge, huge, huge trauma that has been inflicted on the country. It was the worst day in the history of the state of Israel.”
“The people of Israel are some of the most incredible people in the world. I've seen unity, the likes of which I've never seen in any country, and so desperately needed here. That doesn't take away the fact that there's a lot of sadness and a lot of trauma, a lot of unanswered questions. There'll be a reckoning for that, for those failures at some point. So, on the one hand, the Israeli people are some of the greatest people in the world and I'm so proud of them. On the other hand, there's a lot of trauma and still a lot of work to be done.”
What about Iran?
“I blame America for that. America, since we left office, has not enforced sanctions on Iran. They have provided them with tens of billions of dollars of sanctions relief, which they have used to spread terrorism and weaponry across the whole crescent of the Middle East to Iraq, to Syria, to Lebanon, to Gaza.”
What are US politics like right now?
“Israel is fighting for its life and Biden is fighting for Michigan. He needs to show that he's not so pro-Israel, so he's disappointed many, many, many Jewish people. I think he's made a bad political calculation, but more importantly, I think he's just made a very immoral calculation."
The effect of what he's done is to embolden Hamas. It raises the price that they will impose for any return of hostages. It gives them more bargaining leverage. It does exactly the opposite of what I think Biden wants to accomplish, which is to end the war.”
“Biden has done nothing but make mistakes since he's been in office. He made a huge mistake in Afghanistan, in his relationship with Russia, with Iran, and now with Hamas and Hezbollah.”
If he had just said from the beginning to the Israelis, “This is your war. we're here to help you, but it's your war, go win the war. We trust you, do it as best you can, and you won't hear from us again” - that would have brought this war to a much faster conclusion.”
President Biden supported Israel at first. Were you surprised by the change?
“I'm an optimist and I try to see the best of people. In the first couple of days, I was complimentary publicly. My optimism was mistaken. We're in an election year, and this guy wants to get elected. The people that vote Democratic, some of them support Israel, but it's a shrinking percentage of the Democratic Party, and Biden is going to pursue politics over principle every day of the week.”
And the other Democrat leaders?
“We also heard Chuck Schumer and Vice President Kamala Harris say that the US should separate between the Israeli people and the Israeli government. Chuck Schumer in particular, with his speech, has legitimized criticism of Israel from the rest of his party.”
“When the war is over, and God willing, Israel has a huge victory, there'll be time for politics. And then Israel, and only Israel, will decide who its leaders will be. Even people that despise Netanyahu don't think this is the right time to change governments, because you have to focus on winning the war. And Schumer knows that, but he doesn't care.”
What’s Israel to do?
“Israel has to do what's best for Israel. What I’m not clear on is the extent to which Israel needs things from America to win the war and what leverage and threats are being used against Israel. Israel needs to maintain a relationship with America and I think Netanyahu has been doing this a long time. I don't want to react emotionally and say Israel should just ignore America, because they may not have the luxury of doing that. They have to hang on until we get a better president.”
Would the situation have been different under Trump?
“Yes. We had a small example of this back in 2019, when Hamas started a rocket attack. That day, I went on Twitter, with the president's approval, and I said, “Israel should defeat its enemies as quickly and decisively as possible and we have full and unconditional American support, period.” Trump's been critical of Israel that they haven't won the war already. He was hoping for was an overwhelming response by Israel that would have ended the war faster. He wants a victory by Israel.”
Let’s talk about the day after the war.
“I'm very much against a Palestinian state and I would not create a Palestinian state to placate any country. I don't know anyone who's willing right now to come in and stabilize Gaza, which means that Israel may just be the one that has to stabilize it in the short run. If you said to me that over time, there might be a way to bring in the Saudis, the Egyptians, the Emiratis to come in and create a force to rehabilitate Gaza? Yeah, that could be a very good idea.”
“I don't think there's a quick fix to Gaza. I think it's going to take a little bit of time, even after there is, the war extends to Rafah. Besides the battalions still in Rafah, there are hundreds of terrorists from other, defeated battalions still alive, and significant sections of Hamas constructions and infrastructures that still exist. Stabilizing Gaza will take more than just invading Rafah. Let's hope that Israel is able to accomplish this and still maintain its diplomatic relations with the world.”
Sovereignty in Judea and Samaria?
“It's the right time to talk about it. It's not an easy decision, so there needs to be a discussion and an analysis. I don't think Israel has the bandwidth to focus on this right now during a time of war, but when we get past the war, I think we need to retain the clarity that came from the war.”
“Palestinian sections of Judea and Samaria are largely radicalized. They are not in a position to live side by side with Israel in their own state. It'll be a platform for terror.”
“What we need to do on the one hand is to say to the Palestinians -you want to be in Palestinian land, go to Jordan. We actually would love it if you would say to us, look, how do we in Jenin and Ramallah work with you and find ways to do business together and become more profitable?”
“The Palestinians can live with certainty that they're not going to be evicted, that they're not going to be thrown out of their homes, that they'll have better opportunities, better prosperity, better human dignity, better health care, but they need to understand that the Jewish people are not leaving. I don't think we have to expel anybody from their homes or from their land as long as they live to agree to live in peace under Israeli sovereignty.”
Could the Palestinians do so on their own?
“Hopefully we get help from our friends in Saudi Arabia and in the Emirates and Bahrain and Morocco and elsewhere, where we explain to them, look, the solution is not to be separated. The solution is to live together in a way where people do better. We can make peace with Palestinians as long as that peace does not require us to give away our biblical homeland. They need to understand that there is a pathway forward, with help from some of our other countries that have money to spend to build better infrastructure. That's the only future. "
Are you headed back to the White House if Trump wins?
“He has to offer me a job. When I was ambassador, it was the honor of my life. I'd love to be able to go back and do it again. The particular job I get - that's up to the President, but I would love to do it again.”

by Niall Ferguson via Bloomberg To understand what is at stake in the fight against the axis of China, Russia and Iran, just read “The Lord of the Rings.” ++++ Hamas has a secret weapon no one talks about: Western stupidity From Beirut jihadis to Tehran extremists, the erosion of thoughtful discourse has emboldened the world’s most dangerous groups From Beirut jihadis to Tehran extremists, the erosion of thoughtful discourse has emboldened the world’s most dangerous groups Since the advent of social media, the world has undergone an unprecedented period of mass stupefaction. To put it bluntly – large groups of people on both the left and the right are getting dumber faster. Sadly, this trend has proven to be tremendously beneficial for Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist group hell-bent on Israel’s destruction. In his 2022 article “Why the Past Ten Years of American Life Have Been Uniquely Stupid,” social psychologist and author Jonathan Haidt explains how online echo chambers have significantly weakened people’s ability to communicate with one another – particularly those with opposing views. As Haidt notes, tribalistic enmity which has been amplified and accelerated by things like Facebook’s Like and Share buttons, or X’s retweet function, has not only corroded nuanced thought and conversation, it has “supercharged” confirmation bias, the most significant obstacle to “good thinking.” However, what Haidt doesn’t address is how beneficial this tsunami of stupidity has been to the most nefarious people on earth – including terrorists. From jihadis in Beirut to extremists in Tehran, the erosion of thoughtful conversation combined with an explosion of algorithmically enabled animosity has emboldened the world’s most dangerous groups, particularly Hamas. Indeed, since their heinous attacks in Israel on October 7, Hamas appears to be winning the war of public opinion in the West – not through strategically designed information campaigns – but through an international army of thoughtless individuals with an aversion to critical thinking and any information that could, God forbid, potentially challenge their worldviews. For years, we have known that the Internet has been – as Charlie Warzel recently described it – a “window” through which virtually everyone on the planet has observed many of the most heinous acts ever committed. In fact, despite my own best efforts, I’ve been exposed to a variety of terrible videos and gruesome content which, in many ways, has shaped my perspective on the world. From the barbaric execution of the late great Daniel Pearl (to whom I dedicated my PhD dissertation) in Pakistan in 2002, to the sadistic murder of Jordanian pilot Muath al-Kasasbeh by ISIS in 2015, to footage of Hamas’s massacre in Israel, recorded violence on the Internet has become sadly familiar. However, what isn’t familiar is what we have seen since October 7, which is the pairing of violent online content with seemingly endless mis- and disinformation, spread, embraced, and amplified by millions of willfully blind people using it to validate their own identities, confirm preferred beliefs, and convince themselves they’re standing up for the oppressed. This deadly and destabilizing convergence of terrorism-related content, pervasive manipulation of information on social media, and the hijacking of Jewish trauma for political and ideological gain, is legitimizing and strengthening Hamas in unprecedented ways. For starters, it is important to note that while Hamas might be utterly barbaric – the group isn’t stupid. In fact, they stated publicly in an interview with The New York Times, that they’ve been exploiting a lack of content moderation on X to post graphic and violent videos designed to terrorize Israelis – part of the psychological warfare they’ve unleashed on the Jewish state since October 7. This includes bodycam footage of Hamas terrorists murdering Israeli families, images of dead Israeli soldiers, burned-out homes, and injured hostages being violently dragged back into Gaza. Unfortunately, many people who consider themselves to be “progressive activists” have taken troves of this content and repurposed it for their own agendas. In their view, the victims seen in videos, heard on recordings, and shown in images, aren’t victims at all, they’re settlers, colonizers, and Zionists – fair game when it comes to “armed resistance.” From this perspective, Hamas has achieved a double whammy. They’ve been able to traumatize Israelis and the Jewish diaspora in ways not seen since the Holocaust, while simultaneously relying on their progressive western sympathizers to dehumanize their victims and justify their atrocities in the name of liberation. Then there is the issue of Hamas intentionally polluting the information space with false or misleading content. From pointing the finger at Israel for the deadly Al-Ahli Arab Hospital bombing in Gaza (which Western media outlets quickly ran with), to conflating civilian deaths with fighter casualties, to suggesting Israel has fabricated what happened on October 7, Hamas has flooded the online environment with dangerous and misleading information that social media users around the world have eaten up, turned around, and parroted themselves. For instance, one study found that in a single 24-hour period, a series of posts on X sympathetic to terrorist activities in Gaza and Israel, which also contained misleading information, received over 16 million views. In addition, the Atlantic Council found that the Telegram channel for Hamas’s military wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, had “tripled in size from pre-war levels” while the account of Gaza Now, an online group linked to Hamas, has seen their average views per post increase roughly tenfold since October 7. While much of this disinformation is harmful in that it obfuscates reality and increases support and sympathy for Hamas, it also plays into a variety of antisemitic conspiracy theories, including that Jews lie, that they’re untrustworthy, and that they’re a scheming tribe of nefarious individuals committed to Palestinian oppression. In addition, there are the online echo chambers fueling confirmation bias that Haidt warned us about. Since October 7, people obsessed with Israel and already set on their favored Palestinian narratives, have found an endless stream of social media content to validate their preferred beliefs, beliefs which thanks to Hamas are known to be only partially true or even entirely false. To the benefit of Hamas, these echo chambers have evolved quite dramatically over the last several years. While Western activists once appeared at least notionally interested in improving the lives of Palestinians and having somewhat moderately reasonable conversations about things like a two-state solution and specific Israeli policies, the post-October 7 echo chambers have been dominated by blatant Jew-hatred, conspiracy theories, fabricated information, and content explicitly calling for the complete erasure of Israel. At the heart of this thought decay are a number of trends. likely driven by social media. that are diminishing people’s ability to listen to each other, to communicate, and to think. From dropping IQ scores, decreasing attention spans, and increased rates of loneliness and isolation, Hamas has been able to capitalize on the West’s addiction to social media and subsequent stupefaction to mobilize public support for their genocidal cause. Ironically, the loudest Western voices incessantly echoing Hamas talking points are people the group would likely consider infidels or apostates, people the group would waste no time killing – after dealing with Israel first, of course. All told, if we don’t find ways to reform our new digital public squares on platforms like TikTok, X, and Instagram and curtail our eroding abilities to think constructively and speak thoughtfully, the West will face a precipitous social and cognitive collapse – precisely what Hamas and its backers need and want. ++++ Where is Joe Biden?By Erick EricksonUnfortunately, this is nothing new. Stanford University recently chased a Jewish speaker off of campus while students at the University of Pennsylvania spontaneously erupted in genocidal calls for Jewish students to be killed. In fact, the Department of Education is investigating 45 different schools for antisemitism. But where is Joe Biden? The Commander in Chief’s unequivocal moral clarity on the white supremacists in Charlottesville, Virginia allegedly drew him into the race for president in 2019. In fact, the first two words of his campaign kickoff video were “Charlottesville, Virginia.” But when confronted by the racists and the bigots on his own side, Biden is choosing to ignore antisemitism on Ivy League campuses while attempting to buy their votes by paying off their massive student loan debts with your tax dollars. This is not leadership and these are not SEC schools. Watch: ++++From Pnei Hashem Enough! The key to liberation is the decision that we will no longer tolerate our restraints. https://www.jns.org/enough/ Passover is always a time of deep introspection. The general theme of the holiday is liberation, and just as our ancestors went out from servitude and limitation in Egypt, it is incumbent on each of us to consider how we are personally enslaved - to our habits, our passions, our limiting beliefs - and how we can break free. Yet in addition to the personal stocktaking that we engage in every year at this time, there are more global concerns on our mind this year. We think about the hostages who remain in literal bondage in tunnels under Gaza. We think about the unfinished war and the remaining Hamas forces that are hiding in Rafah. We think about Hezbollah in Lebanon and Syria, the Houthis in Yemen, and the Ayatollahs in Iran whose centrifuges continue to spin. Our prayers for liberation and salvation take on added meaning and import this year as violence and hatred against our people proliferate around the world. In this context, a teaching of the Chiddushei HaRim from nearly 200 years ago offers some much needed guidance. There are four instances in the Torah where God promises to deliver Moses and the Israelites from Egypt. The four cups of wine that we drink at the seder correspond to these four verses. The first of these verses is found in the sixth chapter of the book of Exodus, wherein God instructs Moses to assure the people that “I will take you out from the burdens of Egypt” (Shemos 6:6). The Hebrew word for “burdens” in this verse is “סִבְלֹת/sivlot,” and the Chiddushei HaRim notes that this term is from the same root as “סבלנות/savlanut,” which means tolerance, patience, or endurance. With this term, the Chiddushei HaRim teaches, God is hinting to us that if we want to go out of Egypt, the initial step is to stop tolerating our imprisonment, and to stop waiting for someone else to let us go. When we tolerate limitation and slavery, we fail to do everything in our power to free ourselves. We become accustomed to captivity and we settle for it. We allow our captors to define us, and we come to believe them that we are slaves. The first step to progress and freedom is to reject our current status, to struggle against it, to know that we can do better and we deserve better. We must never settle for where we are, and we must never forget what we truly are. This is not a prison from which we cannot escape. We, like all of God’s children, are the beloved offspring of the King of kings. We do not belong in restraints, and we can be free the moment we become aware that these chains can not truly hold us. The only shackles that restrict us are the ones that we affix to ourselves. As the world urges and warns Israel to show restraint in its response to multiple existential attacks - in effect, to abide by strictures and standards that no other people would tolerate - we must internalize the lesson of the Chiddushei HaRim and consider the extent to which our toleration is contributing to our predicament. At some point, if we truly want to be free, we must stop allowing ourselves to be restrained and defined by others. God is ready to take us out from under the “sivlot/burdens” of this long exile. He is simply waiting for us to be ready, to demonstrate our complete trust in Him by ceasing to cower and tolerate the constraints that are foisted on us by a morally compromised world. The Exodus from Egypt was a prelude to the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai seven weeks later. The Torah was given to the world in order to introduce and codify the divine morality of our loving and just Creator. When Jews unabashedly embrace the Torah and teach its universal wisdom, there will be freedom and peace for all the nations. It is time for all peoples to stop tolerating the lies we believe about ourselves. We are all holy, we are all worthy, and we are all One. We must release ourselves from our self-limiting attitudes in order to fulfill our task of helping to liberate and elevate all of God’s creation. – Derived in part from Pnei Hashem, an introduction to the deepest depths of the human experience based on the esoteric teachings of Torah. www.pneihashem.com "A convincing call for modern readers to turn to ancient Jewish wisdom." - Kirkus Reviews ++++ Unless wearing yellow star https://x.com/robbystarbuck/ And: https://x.com/robbystarbuck/ Why Small Businesses Hate Bidenomics As a small business owner myself, we can't take four more years of Bidenomics. Essay By Dick Berkowitz I guess there are enumerable ways to observe the rise in anti-Semitism and vocal support for rapists and baby burners in America. Personally I am glad it has surfaced because, that way, you can deal with it because Americans are basically decent but ,all too often, woefully slow to react. Hatred is nothing new in America. Certainly the witch hunt trials connoted as much, same for the KKK, segregation. All societies have histories of evil. America is no exception but neither is it's past history any worse than other nations though the radical fringe of neo -Marxists, who want to destroy America, would have you believe America was founded on hatred and abject prejudice. This is why they seek to convince school children to hate America. This is what CRT, DEI and Black Lives Matter is all about. "Divide and conquer." Sadly enough they have been effective because we have been asleep at the switch and no longer teach meaningful subjects like civics, lessons on our blessed constitution etc,. Progressives have bought into this flawed hypocrisy. They have embraced the idea Socialism is the tomato /chicken soup that will save the world. This is why they destroy statues. This is why they parade on college campuses spewing their hatred. disrupt the society and are allowed/encouraged to disregard law and order. This is why Soros and others fund radical district attorneys and professional agitators who refuse to enforce laws so discord will spread, tranquility will be challenged and chaos will bring our nation to it's knees. This is why thugs are allowed to crash stores and steal goods with impunity. The battle between the limits of free speech and anarchy is now front and center. Now we can see what America is all about. Will we allow this great republic to turn into Hitler's Germany or will we reject the efforts of those who profess they hate Jews and America? Are the radicals simply ignorant, misguided and "of the moment?" or dangerous, unredeemable and beyond hope? Time will tell. It always does. The issue for me is whether we care enough to act in order to save our republic, restore order and meet out what these anti-Semitic, Hamas loving dangerous fascists deserve? Do college and university presidents have the backbone and sensitivity? Do educators and city commission members comprehend the threat and will the FBI stop treating parents as domestic terrorists? As a Jew, I challenge anyone to deny the amazing contribution my people have made, not only in America but also to the entire world. Once again will decency prevail? Will deplorables finally rise from their torpor, speak out and clearly reject what is being imposed upon the silent majority and our society? Has the break down of respect for authority, which became rampant in the sixties, resurfaced, engulfed America and become a permanent fact of life? Yes, time will tell and frankly I am not hopeful. The pendulum seldom swings back all the way. The virus of hate generally leaves a residue. Will God save America from self destruction? Has Ben's warning been so disregarded the Good Ship America is incapable of being righted. To make matters worse, we have a Chameleon as president. Everything he does seems to ensure America's race to the bottom. His desire to be re-elected causes him to bring about that which he professes he wishes to avoid. We know he is an inveterate liar and has a history of racist behaviour and pronouncements. Yes. stay tuned But do nor remain silent unless you want to lose the very freedoms which are the envy of the world. It might even be able to save our republic from the damage the progressives are doing. with their insane behavior and philosophical nonsense. It has always been the weakest of the 3 governing bodies and therefore, that often makes them the strongest as long as Americans want to adhere TO law and order. +++ As a growing number of violent, anti-Semitic protests continue to sweep across the campuses of elite universities, we are witnessing in real time a coordinated attempt by the left to whitewash the facts. While Jewish students at Columbia University and elsewhere were physically assaulted because of their ethnicity, Alexandria Ocassio Cortez spoke at an event before Joe Biden emphasizing the peaceful nature of the protests. When asked about the protests, President Biden said he condemns the antisemitic protests but also condemns those who don’t understand what is happening to the Palestinian people in Gaza. Apparently, disagreeing with Biden on Palestine is on par with physically assaulting Jewish students on college campuses. Joy Reid and a guest on MSNBC downplayed and justified the violence against Jewish students claiming these “outliers” are necessary for change to occur. The familiar pattern of media coverage mirrors the 2020 race riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin that were infamously dubbed 'fiery but mostly peaceful protest' by CNN. These same progressives would have you believe words are violence while physical violence against Jewish students is simply an outlier that needs to be ignored. At a time when threats against Jewish Americans are reaching an all-time high, you would think the President of the United States could unify the country by seizing the moment and forcefully condemning antisemitism in all of its forms. However, the White House knows the polling data and is well aware that anything Biden says or does must be viewed through the lens of the Muslim population in Michigan and the woke college kids leaving Biden over Gaza. For all of the talk of racists on the right, Joe Biden is relying upon violent, racist people to get him reelected. Watch:

George Soros is one of the wealthiest, most dangerous, men in America
He learned early on how to destroy the enforcement of law and order by
funding campaigns of radical attorneys running for public office as
district attorneys. These campaigns did not normally attract significant
candidate monies so, with his billions of dollars and evil intent,
Soros has been able to gain enormous leverage and negative influence.
Consequently, he has been able to replace law and order district
attorneys with pro criminals ones because he believes America's
judicial system, is racist...
Soros knew these pro criminal district attorneys would enforce what
they wish and thus Biden is able to falsely claim crime is in descendance
which is not factual.
Soros also was able to elect district attorneys in major cities like
Philadelphia, New York ,San Francisco, Boston, Chicago etc.. where
not only has crime risen, but also serious discord has as well.
"The City of Brotherly Love" now festers with crime, increased murders
and serious social disruption. San Francisco, one of America's unique
cities has become overrun by druggies, homeless and those using the
streets for toilets' and so it goes.
Soros knows what he is doing and hates America's way of life. He has
linked with several organization that are, like Obama, dedicated to
transforming America.so he can control events and directions by
enhanced power gained through the election of these rogue district
attorneys. To make matters worse, he has been imminently successful
He was even able to unseat one of the finest D.A's in Chatham County,
where I live. The office is now in total disarray.
By disregarding the enforcement of statutory laws D.A's are violating
separation powers between the executive and legislative branches of
local and state governments and the entire legal system.
As I often note,, American's are frequently late to react. However, I
believe we may have reached a tipping point moment. If not then
our republic may well be destroyed as law and order disappears, crime
flourishes and the ability to controlling the streets of America goes the
way of all flesh.
In essence, It is obvious the anti-Semitic rioting on campuses are
coordinated because from coast to coast the signs, the placards, the
chants are mostly identical.. Second ,the Constitution guarantees
speech but not behaviour. It some shouts ugly things at you that is
protected but it is not constitutionally ok to threat them by movement
or actions.
This seems not to be understood by those who have PHD's or who are
still wet behind their ears.
I have no doubt professional and paid agitators are also involved.
When I attended PENN and Spring began we had what we called Row
Bottoms.
Some students poured gasoline on the trolley tracks which ran down
toward town and a few students rid themselves of pent up frustrations
but it was more playful than harmful/dangerous and there were no signs
of anti-Semitism or hatred towards America. Over the years
Christopher Rufo in his book: "America's Cultural Revolution" ;lays out
how the current campus rioting came to be.
Stay tuned.

November is the fate of the nation. I have lots more but I have reached the limit of what I am able to

be about to begin. Satellite images show large tent camps having
been erected towards the middle of the strip for the purpose of
housing civilians who will be evacuated to there in order to avoid
being caught in Rafah when the onslaught begins. No time
announced for this but it appears to be imminent.
Lebanon’s Iran-backed Hezbollah said on Tuesday it had launched a
drone attack against Israeli military bases north of the city of Acre, in
its deepest strike into Israeli territory since the Gaza war began. The
IDF said it had no knowledge of any of its facilities being hit by
Hezbollah, but had said earlier on Tuesday that it intercepted two
“aerial targets” off Israel’s northern coast. Hezbollah said it acted in
retaliation for an earlier Israeli attack killing one of its terrorists.

uncertainty about whether the United States would continue to back
Kyiv in its fight against Russian aggression. The vote capped an

In a video aired by Al Jazeera TV, Abu Ubaida praised Iran’s attack
on Israel on April 13, saying the direct strikes with explosive drones
and missiles “set new rules, drew important equations, and confused
the enemy and those behind it.” He also called for an escalation in
fronts.” Jordan, which lies between Iran and Israel, intercepted and
shot down dozens of Iranian drones that entered its airspace and
were heading to Israel, two regional security sources said on April 13.
Sadly it does not at all look as if the war is winding down nor that Israel
