Central Gaza Strip

Over the past day, IDF fighter jets struck over 60 terror targets in the Gaza Strip, including underground launch posts, military infrastructure and sites in which armed terrorists operated. In parallel, IDF artillery struck terrorist infrastructure in the central Gaza Strip.

The 401st Brigade, Nahal Brigade, and additional units under the command of the IDF's 162nd Division continue their targeted raid to eliminate terrorists and destroy terrorist infrastructure in the center of the Gaza Strip.
As part of the operation, the Nahal Brigade carried out targeted raids on several buildings used by the Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terror organizations, and located terrorist infrastructure. The forces located and neutralized several large armed explosive charges that were hidden in the classrooms and the schoolyard of the Ibrahim Al-Makhadmeh School in the center of the Gaza Strip (see image below). In addition, the soldiers located an observation post used by Hamas for terrorist activities.

IDF Spokesperson Addresses Recent Threats Made by Iran Against Israel

Last night, during a press conference, IDF Spokesperson RADM. Daniel Hagari addressed recent threats made by the Ayatollah regime in Iran against the State of Israel. RADM. Hagari affirmed that the IDF is "highly alert and prepared for a variety scenarios." He discussed the recent visit to Israel made by the Commander of the United States Central Command, GEN. Michael "Erik" Kurilla, who met with the Chief of the General Staff of the IDF, LTG. Herzi Halevi (see image below). According to RADM. Hagari, the IDF's "strategic relationship with the United States military is firm and steadfast."

IDF Eliminates Hamas Terrorists Who Stole Humanitarian Aid from Gazan Civilains

Yesterday (April 11), in a joint IDF and ISA operation, an IAF aircraft eliminated Ridwan Mohammed Abdallah Ridwan, a Hamas military operative who was responsible for the terror organization’s internal security operations in the area of Jabalia. Ridwan gave orders to Hamas operatives and was responsible for directing armed terrorists to take control of humanitarian aid trucks in the northern Gaza Strip, which deprived Gazan civilians of the aid. His elimination degrades Hamas’s capabilities to attack and take control of humanitarian aid in the area of Jabalya.

The IDF also eliminated Hamed Muhammad Ali Ahmed, a Hamas military commander, as well as another Hamas operative in the terror organization's Jabalia Battalion.

Israel Opens New Crossing to Facilitate Transfer of Humanitarian Aid to Northern Gaza

Yesterday (April 11), in accordance with the decision of the government of Israel, the first humanitarian aid trucks transporting food entered through the new Northern Crossing from Israel into the Gaza Strip. The crossing's opening was coordinated by the IDF and Israel's Coordinator for Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) agency, as part of efforts to enhance the humanitarian aid corridors to the Gaza Strip in general, and to the north in particular.

The trucks underwent security checks by Israeli security forces at the Kerem Shalom crossing, and were accompanied by IDF soldiers.
