World Loves Guilty Victims? Kudlow. FBI Hunts? Hezbollah Nuisance? 151st Day. More.

The world loves guilty victims

never the true victims

Where is the ‘humanitarian aid’ for the hostages?

The world is pressuring Israel about the crisis in Gaza, while ignoring the men, women and children who are being abused and starved in Hamas captivity.

The illusion of a ‘demilitarized’ Palestinian state

No one can stop a future Palestinian state from becoming a lawless and militarized state. Such a state on Israel's doorstep would pose a direct and grave threat to Israel's existence.

A slew of polls came out over the weekend, showing Donald Trump in the driver’s seat for the presidential election. Head-to-head with President Biden, Mr. Trump’s a likely winner.

On the issues, Mr. Trump is a huge winner — across the board. The economy, inflation, border, crime, woke — nobody likes Mr. Biden’s policies, and people remember how well off they were during Mr. Trump’s first term.

On that point, in the New York Times-Siena College poll, 40 percent say Mr. Trump gave them a real pay increase — 40 percent to 18 percent, voters say Mr. Trump policies helped them personally. Some 43 percent say Mr. Biden’s policies hurt them personally.

And Mr. Trump has an enthusiasm advantage of 48-23 percent. Want to hear a shocker? Women are 20 percentage points more likely to say that Mr. Trump’s policies have helped them more than Mr. Biden’s have, according to the New York Times-Siena poll.

The Fox News poll shows Mr. Trump winning 48 percent of Hispanics, 43 percent of suburban women, 51 percent of voters under 30, and 28 percent of Blacks.

In other words, Mr. Trump is cutting into the Biden Democratic vote, big time. Another important point: Mr. Trump has unified the Republican Party far more than Mr. Biden has unified Democrats.

According to the New York Times-Siena poll, of those who voted for Mr. Trump in 2020, 97 percent intend to support him this year. With Mr. Biden, of those who voted for him in 2020, only 83 percent are with him this year. Also, 10 percent of Mr. Biden’s voters intend to support Mr. Trump.

So, all the talk about Mr. Trump’s problems with unifying the GOP is just a bunch of pundits yapping erroneously.

Except for a tiny sliver of Senator Romney, Senator McCain and Governor Haley sore-loser Republicans — who know how to lose, but not how to win — Mr. Trump has united the GOP like no one ever before, and he is the kind of political street-fighter who has no intention of losing.

If you step back for a minute and look at all these polls, what really jumps out is how totally unpopular Mr. Biden is. It’s kind of like voters are saying: “Sorry, Mr. President, we’re just not that into you anymore.” They have no confidence in you.

They gave you a shot — and you bungled it, almost from Day One. You deliberately opened the borders to a wave of illegal migrant lawlessness and crime. You’ve created an affordability crisis that makes it impossible to live in your economy, especially on gasoline and groceries.

You’ve created this so-called “woke” culture that is antithetical to traditional American middle-class values. And you’ve ruined our reputation abroad, as countries are bombing each other relentlessly in hot spots around the world.

And I’ll step back even more from the unpopularity theme and suggest this: these polls are showing how much Americans are rejecting Mr. Biden’s far-left progressive, big government socialism.

It’s an across-the-board failure. In direct contrast, Mr. Trump is saying we will drain the Washington, D.C. swamp of woke progressivism.

We will restore freedom, democracy, economic growth, optimism, and America’s standing in the world.

He’s giving the great American middle class a much-needed dose of common sense. I know polls aren’t votes. Right now, though, you have got to say: advantage Trump.

FBI hunting for Iranian spy who allegedly plotted assassination of Mike Pompeo, other US officials

Post Staff Report

The FBI issued a public alert Friday for Majid Dastjani Farahani, the Iranian spy who allegedly plotted to assassinate former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and other American officials.

Farahani speaks Farasi, French, Spanish and English and frequently travels between Iran and Venezuela, according to the agency’s Miami field office, which issued the notice.

The 41-year-old suspected member of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security had been recruiting “individuals for operations in the U.S., to include lethal targeting of current/former USG officials,” it said.

The alert came as Iran sought to avenge the 2020 US assassination of Major General Qasem Soleimani under Pompeo’s watch.

The 151st Day of Israel’s War Against Hamas

By Sherwin Pomerantz

Today, is the 151st day of Israel’s war against Hamas and the IDF destroyed the largest terror tunnel uncovered in northern Gaza. The tunnel is about four kilometers long and ends near the Erez crossing but does not cross into Israeli territory per se. It was initially discovered in mid-December of last year. Over the past few weeks, the IDF has been investigating the tunnel, and route which reached a maximum depth of about 50 meters. The nearest shaft of the tunnel to Israel is located about 400 meters from the Erez crossing, which has been used for the passage of workers and patients for medical treatment in Israel in recent years.

As to the  Hamas  hostages, spokesperson Basem Naim said on Monday, the terror group did not know who were dead or alive.  Basem added ,the hostages were held by many terror groups in different locations in the Gaza Strip.  Therefore,  a ceasefire is necessary for Hamas to ascertain how many and which hostages it still holds.  Continuing the BBC interview, Naim asserted information relating to the hostages was "valuable" and could not be given "for free."  On Friday, Hamas released a video where they proposed three scenarios regarding the fates of the hostages. In the first, all had been killed, in the second some had been killed and others wounded, and in the third, all were still alive.  Bottom line?  We don’t know the status of the hostages.

This week the IDF begun dispersing food packages to Gazans in the Khan Yunis area as well as in the southern portion of the strip.  This, in advance of the Ramadan observance which begins on March 10th.

Regarding the northern border, US Special Envoy Amos Hochstein was in Lebanon on Monday and is on his way to Israel in his effort to mediate a diplomatic end to the continuing cross border activity between the two countries.

In a rare show of support for Israel’s claims, the UN has now confirmed rape and sexual torture was inflicted on Israelis both during the massacre of October 7th as well as during their captivity in Gaza.   Forensic evidence proved the claim about the events on October 7th and verified reports of released hostages provided sufficient believable details on what occurred in Gaza.
